hrmmmm ive seen beast wars, good ol gee one, animated, and transformers prime and i hold no animosity towards any of them i guess?? honestly im generally a glass half full kinda person when it comes to this kinda stuff. ive seen bits and peaces of Armada an was pretty much 1000% there for starscream so ill go for that one, didnt feel like there was much else to get emotionally invested in with that series. lord knows i go into watching g1 not expecting high art tho but it fun.

huuugghhrr (any one with soundwave in it?) gonna say idw for this one i got into transformers while animated was going on but then it was i would say a secondary thing like i was just low key into it but then i was seeing these images of this decepticon masked badass on deveant art an was !!!!! one thing lead to another i discovered mtmte and i just like the world building it makes me happy. there still a sore laking in actual cybertronian culture stuff but ya now what i know that background characters name (rong?) tfp comes in second mainly because the whole aligned thing confuses me (like soundwave is hella old if ya think about it) but i thought the show had some good stuff going for it

i hold no hate for the show but im gonna say g1 simply because of that plot point where the decepticons and autobots are written as i wanna say as separate species almost because it comes of as the “military designed” ones are some how inferior to the civilian “good guys” the cons were made one way and bots another its just a huge squick for me let them be just one species stereotypes are one thing but got damn that machine was codded this way and that one another and some how one is wrong just bothers me, as some one who loves biology i kinda also read that as one species meets another theres limited resources therefor on must die
