its really funny that i like started smoking weed like a year ago in a recreation-legal state and now i swear i’ve heard more people my age say that they’ve quit weed than started. After it was made legal

#indexed post #I do really get it though and I’m glad they’re prioritizing their health and comfort #I think drug decrim (the ideal but legalization is what it is) ideally is abt granting autonomy to stop as much as start #I imagine when access isn’t unstable and restricted you have fewer conflicts of interest around acquisition and use #I’m still figuring out what place it has in my life bc i will like go months w/o anything then try again #And i think in general i don’t feel that different… At the amt i use i don’t get especially fucked up or anything #but i think sometimes it gets me through a rough patch esp pain wise and also can be a fun evening thing
