A lot of my own posting here atm, I'm gonna go out for a walk in a bit and listen to the rest of the music recs I got (and also feel free to send more). But speaking of music recommendations as well as Feel Good inc. I just watched this video on De La Soul's album 3 feet high and rising and I just wanna recommend 'Eye Know' and 'The magic number' from that album. Such feel good songs, you can really tell how much fun they had when they recorded that album and it really shows how that carried onto much of their music with Gorillaz. Sad I didn't get into their music earlier considering Daves recent passing, but this album is such a gem and it deserves some love and redemption

anyone interested in talking about the iconic 2000's middle-grade-bordering-on-ya book series gallagher girls??

#okay incoming rant about this series #i read the first book when i was 10 or 11 and i was absolutely obssessed with it. i read it so many times i had the entire story memorized #the issue was that i could not find the rest of the series anywhere. it was either sold out or out of stock #and then i found out that only the first 3 books had been translated into my first language so at that point i kinda gave up on them #anyway #flashforward to a couple of weeks ago #i was re organizing my bookshelf and on the back i found LYKY (is this how y'all are abreviating it??)#and remembred how much i loved it #and since i'm now fluent in english and was stuck at home recovering from a surgery i decided to download the entire series and read it #to find out what the fuck happened afterwards #long story short i read all six books in 4 or 5 days #and i haven't stopped thinking about them since #it's actually so funny how little information we have in the first book #i went all of these years thinking it was mostly a silly series about a boarding school for spies when actually SO MUCH happens afterwards #i can't believe i went all of these years unaware of zach goode's existence #truly character of all time #but also i can't stop thinking about how interesting it would have been if zach had come to hate the circle and his mom during the series #rather than before #make it a true enemies to lovers #and have us witness that portion of his character developement in real time instead of being told about it #like him slowly realizing through cammie and his time at gallagher that maybe what they were doing is wrong #i think it would have been very interesting to read #although let's be real it took me until halfway through book four to trust him and he was fully one of the good guys so..#but yeah i have a lot more to say but these tags are long enough #gallagher girls #okay i just want to add another funny anecdote about my experience with this series #my copy of LYKY has an age warning in the back recomending that readers should be above 13 yo to read it #and i distinctly remember finishing it and thinking the warning was kind of dumb bcs besides a few mentions of death and other heavier topi #nothing really happened #and now i realize it was a warning for the rest of the series not just the first book because jesus fucking chirst everything after

So bnha manga is over. BNHA was huge part of me over the years. So many read fanfics, so many AUs created. It greatly influenced my artstyle as Izuku was my comfort character to draw for so long. But interests pass and so was my obsession with bnha. Still, my bnha x blue beetle crossover was the most completed AU i ever had. Too bad i have never gotten around doing anything more for it. But i started making my first animatic. never finished it, as you can see (partly bc of my poor time and effort management. also i had no idea what i was doing and learning all the programs on the go).

I dont want to loose it tho, so im sharing what i made then as a 21 sec homage to bnha. thanks!

ohhhh my god. okay. so. my aunt does like, she buys random junk in bulk from retail wholesalers and then resells it on like, facebook marketplace and ebay and stuff. whatever. so my mom works for her. makes a flat $50 a day, regardless of the fact that shes disabled and doing hard labor for at least 8 hours a day, often 10+. and min wage here is $10 an hour but mom argued that $50 a day is still more than what she would make working the same hours at an actual job because of taxes...like girl that would be 50% taxes. you do not pay that fucking much. so thats already Bad.

but today mom shows me a video of a knife theyre gonna sell, and i watch 2 seconds and i realize its an automatic knife, and i tell her hey. thats illegal to possess in this state. let alone sell! and mom is like ohhh [aunt] knows what shes doing itll be fine.... we sell knives on there all the time she just doesnt put pictures and calls them something else on the listing to get around fb/ebays policies :)

LIKE. HELLO. THATS NOT BETTER. YOURE COMMITTING MULTIPLE CRIMES. *AS YOUR JOB.* and she was just like "its not a big deal she knows what shes doing." folks, this is the same aunt that, very illegally, paid me to sort through her clients confidential tax documents and bank records and stuff. because she works for a bank. and took the records home to sort them. i dont think she DOES know what shes doing, actually!

WHAT GOVERNMENT OFFICE DOESNT OPEN UNTIL 10.#PLUS. WE LIVE IN A RURAL HOUR. *BUSY* TAKES LIKE AN HOUR. MOST OF THE TIME YOURE IN AND OUT WITHIN 20 MINITES.#ive been fucking considering PAYING HIM to go get it.#and then he claims he didnt know it opened at 8am. when i have told him that. how do i contact apple bc actually i am currently going through an internet story but i don't have twitter.

which is to say that 3 weeks ago i was on vacation to the Azores with my family. due to girl pockets (iykyk) my phone fucking jumped into the ocean literally only because i lifted my leg above a 30 degree angle to avoid a wave. the phone was black. the sand was black. it was night. i had waded in about 2 feet deep. i think my guardian angel just closed his eyes.

i immediately reached a state of peace about it. maybe it was a sign from god or the universe. don't we all need to unplug. let's live in the moment or whatever. also, let's give the crabs technology, i just think it would be funny.

i come home. i haven't backed up my phone in a while (lol since 2022) and the shitty replacement i got is literally useless. i lost pictures of newborn babies. i lost contacts. i have to wrangle things together that need 2-factor authentication with a phone that's in the fucking ocean.

and then today i got this notification.

What in the everfuck. are you kidding me. this thing was IN THE OCEAN. like the ACTUAL OCEAN. like originally "find my phone" was reporting it as ABSENT.

and then i get this email:

she found it while she was SNORKLING. at the bottom of the actual ocean. it's been there for 3 weeks.

IT STILL WORKS.

which is to say. like how do i get her anything she wants, forever. i don't have any money but i would buy her a fucking boat of iphones to thank her. how do we get apple to give me a commercial. if nothing else i just want people to know that someone found my phone at the bottom of the ocean because how fucking fake of a story does this even sound.

#mädch rambles #something weird is happening in our apt i think skdfjlsdjf #so there was this couple that lived in the apt above us when we moved in and we thought they were pretty nice #the girl was a bit quiet not as nice as her bf he was really friendly with us but yeah they lived above us and they were honestly quite lou #like their footsteps (we found out it was actually the girl haha) were SO loud and we always knew when they were home #and their bedroom was right above ours and they had an old creaky bedframe so every time they would move my bf and i would but up all night #lol ANYWAYS so a couple months ago we found out that the broke up and that the bf was going to move out (he texted us) so ya know it's just #been the girl up there and we knew she had been living there after he moved out for a couple months but i would say for maybe the past 3 #weeks we have not heard her at all and we haven't gone on like any big trips for long periods of time but we think we still see her car out #in the parking lot but it hasnt left the lot and we have been seeing this new blonde girl coming in a few times but we dont know where she #comes or goes from and ALSO there is this new red truck in our lot that has not moved at ALL and my bf works from home and he never sees it #leave so we are skeptical if she moved out but we haven't heard anyone move in or out so im like lowkey kinda concerned ....#and ALSO another random incident just the other day when we came back from eating out like a few days ago the police were near our apt and #we asked if it was for our apt just to make sure and they said no but they didn't know where the 'emergency' was so like IDK things have ju #t been WEIRD LATELY YA KNOW i'm just so tempted to text our landlord :')
