Storytime - Richie's Nostalgia
Summary: Richie tries to tell a story about he and Bill when they were younger before he gets carried away and has to delete the footage because it reveals too much personal information on Bill.
Chap 1 + Chap 2 + Chap 3 + AO3 + My Masterlist
Taglist: @fuckboykaspbrak @thesquidliesthuman @starboystan @rachi0964 @ahoybyeler @beepbeep-losers @bigbilliamdenbro @jalenrose1122 @sleepygaybrough @itandstrangerthingsfanfic @boopboopbichie @peachywyatt @aizeninlefox @sockwantstodie
Richie sits in front of the camera, plopping on the couch in such a fashion that makes the springs in the cushions creak loudly under his weight. He grins to himself, adjusting his glasses as he goes to flip open the viewfinder and click the on button green
He lays back on the back of the couch, getting comfortable, even "man spreading" as Beverly calls it when he does, she always opens her legs wider than he does. He doesn't seem to mind, she's more dominant than he is anyways.
He smiles lazily at the camera in his lowering high, a couple bong hits an hour ago leaves him feeling much smoother than he really is. "Hello, viewers, friends, subscribers," he starts with the grin, leaning forward now with his elbows on his knees.
"Today, boy do I have a story for you," he says, shaking his head with a grin wider than ever. "We're talking about me and Billy Boy in highschool," he says with an eyebrow waggle that goes as long and has far as to make his forehead a bit sore.
"We were fifteen at the time, good times, good times..." He trails off into the story.
Bill slams his locker shut, huffing deeply and jumping when he sees Richie standing straight in front of him in the near empty hallway. He's leaving early because he had an anxiety attack in class over the upcoming geometry presentation he has to do. It doesn't even make sense, why would I need to talk in front of the class about numbers, that's what the teacher is for.
"Heya Billiam, you need someone to go with you? I know your folks probably won't do you any good," Richie offers, his voice losing the normal kick it usually has in favor of something soft and soothing and actually careful, cautious of how Bill may be feeling.
Bill hesitates for a moment, knowing that means Richie will be absent for the day too and he'd feel awful if he got in trouble for it. Richie cares more about his friends than he cares for himself, leaving him in constant trouble with the adults in Derry. He especially speaks out much too much, leaving many people upset with him.
"Sure, R-r-rich, I th-think I'd like that," he says softly, hugging his composition notebook tight to his chest for comfort. He decides he doesn't want to be alone all day, having only made it to the first hour of school, since geometry is set as his second.
Richie nods with a small smile, only letting the corners of his lips tilting up in his normal smirk. He tries to act normal as he takes Bill's hand to drag him off to the front entrance, carrying Bill's backpack and his own.
"Silver doing you good still, Big Bill?" Richie asks, trying to start a conversation that would build Bill up instead of making him feel any worse than he already does.
Bill nods, "She's th-the most p-p-powerful steed," he says surely, still basing much of his pride in his bike, the very one he'd bought for himself after Georgie's death.
"I believe you, Billy," Richie says proudly, climbing on to his own rickety bike, the seat too low for his legs that had shot out like beanstalks once his middle school growth spurt hit.
Bill only smiles softly as he clambers on Silver, her mighty self still proving too tall for even Bill's current height, taller than even Richie's.
They share a look before both starting to pedal at the same pace, taking different amounts of strength to go the same speed due to the difference in bike sides.
Eventually they hit the park, Richie looking to Bill for some sort of direction, "We going to yours or mine?" He asks, looking down at his feet, kicking at the dirt path so dust bubbles up into the air.
"M-mine sounds good, I l-love your mom but I d-don't wanna w-worry her," Bill says, already obviously sure in his decision, his response coming almost immediately.
Richie only nods, bringing his foot back up to the pedal. He starts a bit too slow, wobbling to the side a little, catching himself by kicking his foot to the ground before bringing it back up to speed after Bill who got farther while Richie was struggling with his pedals.
They both smile devilishly at each other, speeding forward at each other to try and be the faster one, every ride is an unspoken race when it's just the two of them.
Once they arrive at the Denbrough residence (Bill pulled into the driveway first but Richie refuses to accept it) Bill lets them in with the key under the garden gnome on his front porch.
He walks in, dropping his backpack immediately to the floor with a thump. He sighs to himself, rubbing his hands over his face and sighing, running his hands through his ginger hair. He truly just wants to calm himself, but that means letting the rest of the pent up anxiety out before it can feel better.
Bill lets a few tears stream down in salty orbs that represent how he's feeling, obviously pretty awful if he's allowing himself to cry around another person. As fast as the tears started, they stop abruptly, he quickly swipes them away with long sweatshirt sleeves that cover his hands like little paws.
In this moment he looks nothing to Richie but a younger version of the Bill everyone knows. Seeming small, nearly fragile and like he could fall apart further if Richie missteps.
Richie can't help but drop his bag as well to wrap his lanky arms around Bill clumsily, holding him for a few moments as the boy shudders slightly under his touch. "You're okay, Bill, I can leave if you need me to," Richie offers, feeling Bill shake his head quickly against his neck.
Bill finally pulls away, looking Richie square in the eye, "C-can you get the bl-blue blanket from my bed? I'll m-make us tea, think it'll c-calm me down," he says, slowly making a plan in his head for the two of them.
Richie nods in response, looking a bit bewildered about how the leader in Bill had immediately come back in that moment, a pop up of the version he often sees.
Richie trudges his way up the creaky wooden steps to the upstairs bedroom. He opens Bill's closed door, stepping into the room. He feels wrong entering alone, it's always with Bill and he feels as if he's intruding now.
Bill's room is the epitome of the room that belongs to a creative but sad person, in other words, it's an absolute disaster. He has a way of organizing, he just never seems to use his method of organization after he's started it.
Richie pulls the fuzzy blue throw blanket from atop the comforter that lays all wrinkled on the sheets. He folds it neatly enough, hugging it to his chest as he goes to the door, closing it behind him only lightly, not wanting to disturb anything.
He makes his way downstairs to where tea is steeping on the counter but no signs of Bill's presence in the kitchen. Then, suddenly, Bill pops out from the dining room, his phone timer still going off until he clicks it off hastily to pull the tea bags out of the mugs, wincing a bit at the hot water that runs up his arms as he walks them to the trash can.
"T-tea's ready," Bill says sheepishly, wiping his arms down with a paper towel, knowing he'll probably feel sticky until the next shower, though he realizes that he really just doesn't care.
"I see that, I can carry them?" Richie offers, grabbing Bill a second paper towel, looking down at his own hoodie and back at Bill's wet sleeves, "And do you want my hoodie? I know you get cold," Richie tests carefully.
Bill nods hesitantly, starting to pull off his own sweatshirt to take up Richie's offer. He's a bit shy, a few stray marks on his arms where he picked at his skin in the strong state of anxiety he'd been in earlier.
Richie quickly pulls off his hoodie, still warm so when Bill pulls it on it feels almost like it's fresh out of the dryer, just as he likes it.
Richie grabs the mugs, a blue one and a yellow one, knowing Bill almost always uses the yellow one, the blue one is his second choice, which definitely makes Richie feel honored. "Where we goin', chief?" He asks with a playful smile.
"I'll l-lead you," Bill says, his tone telling Richie just to be patient, Bill is obviously in one of those moods, and chances are that his surprise won't be negative, knowing him. He's a careful leader and fears nothing more than losing people he loves, which means that he would be especially upset if he scared them off by mistake.
Richie just nods, letting Bill carry the blanket. He watches carefully as Bill drapes it around his shoulders, making himself into a walking human burrito as he walks the two of them towards the room nobody ever seems to open, not for years at least.
Bill opens the door, filling their eyes with yellow and blue and plush toys, an intact Lego turtle sitting neatly on the bedside table just as it should, becoming the first thing seen whenever someone goes in.
Bill crawls right into the small bed, obviously little as it was meant for a boy as young as the age of six. He pats the side next to him, slipping off his shoes and letting them tumble to the floor, better there than on the bed. He'd wash the sheets if he dirtied them but maybe then they'd feel less like Georgie's.
Richie takes off his shoes before sitting in next to Bill, carefully sliding the tea onto the bedside table without touching the turtle. It's not his to touch and he knows that both he and Bill know that.
"It j-just hurts a lot," Bill says softly, whenever he falls apart everything seems to rush back, he's not gotten enough closure on the situation, he truly wishes that it had all ended differently so he could feel differently.
Richie sighs, looking down at his fidgety hands that he holds in his lap so he wouldn't feel so annoying. "I know, Billy, you deserve better," he says quietly, reaching one of said hands over to Bill's shoulder to rub it comfortingly until he feels the other boy quiver with tears again.
"I'm s-sorry," is all the usually stoic boy says in a near whine, unable to get the words out properly.
Richie's heart melts for him, leaning over to hug him, brushing the tears away with his thumb, looking into Bill's watery eyes. "I'm always here for you, I love you," Richie reminds, leaning in to press a peck to Bill's lips, something out of the ordinary for them but Bill doesn't seem to mind.
Richie snaps from his storytelling, looking into the camera and shaking his head to himself, "God, I can't post that," he reminds himself, reaching forward to shut off the camera, taking the SD card to wipe the filming session from it as if he hadn't gotten teary and nostalgic about that story for the past half an hour.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
I would like to thank @leaalda for making these amazing banners.
This is an effort to spread the word about all fan fiction writers in our little fandom. If you would like to be featured or nominate a writer, please contact me. Please reblog this post if you can and check out some of reflectivemuse (@i-am-the-fire57) work!
1. First things first, if someone wanted to read your stories where can they find them.
You can find my fics under the name reflectivemuse at AO3. I'll also post excerpts on Tumblr as @i-am-the-fire57.
2. Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm Rochelle, from Seattle, WA. Thirty years old, ace, bipolar, and Asperger's. Getting into reading and writing helped me understand real life social cues and communication better, but unless its blatant sarcastic humor can sometimes get lost in translation.
3. What do you never leave home without?
Phone, headphones, keys, and wallet that holds a bus pass and various cards together.
4. Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I'm kind of both - I stay up late-ish but wind up awake between six and seven am anyway.
5. If you could live in any fictional world, which one would you choose and why?
Percy Jackson's world, hands down. The mortality rate is a lot lower than other fictional realms I'm obsessed with, and there's still plenty of humor on the road to danger.
6. Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met.
None really yet - I've talked to YA authors Maggie Stiefvater and Cassandra Clare at book signings. I joked with Maggie about turning her first book Lament into a stage musical, and then with Cassie about how an alternate title for The Infernal Devices should be Downworld Abbey because of the proximity to the Downton Abbey time period - (she joked back that if she had her way Matthew Crawley would have been turned into a vampire)
7. What are some of your favorite movies/TV?
Supernatural, 12 Monkeys, Stargate SG-1, Humans, Riverdale, Nikita, Parks and Rec...I love musicals like 1776, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Grease, and Phantom of the Opera. The Captain America movies, especially Civil War. And, a curveball to my tastes - Runaway Jury.
8. What are some of your favorite bands/musicians?
I like various forms of metal - symphonic like Nightwish/Within Temptation, alternative such as Halestorm (I got my tumblr username from one of their songs.) I survived high school on punk-pop music, going to Green Day/Jimmy Eat World concerts. For pop, I eat up anything by Ryan Star.
9. Favorite Books?
Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier
The Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin
I'm decidedly a YA leaning writer and Maggie Stievater's The Scorpio Races along with Cassandra Clare's The Infernal Devices are some of the most beautiful books I've ever read.
10. Favorite Food?
Random things - challah bread, milkshakes, pad thai. I went to Hawaii once and got a taste for guava jelly. Nothing too interesting.
11. Biggest pet peeve?
Weird guys on the bus who want me to take my headphones off so that they can awkwardly hit on me. Also, guys who hit on me.
12. What did you want to be when you were little? What do you want to be now?
I wanted to be a Disney animator when I was three - hot off of seeing The Little Mermaid, I guess. My mom drew one rough doodle of Ariel and I kept asking for more until she told me to try it myself. I lasted two years of animation courses in college before deciding to focus more on the writing aspect of storytelling.
13. What are your biggest fears? Do you have any strange fears?
Oh, boy. Clowns (My mom dressed my room up in them when I was little) Bees! If a wasp is zooming within like ten feet of me, whether I'm at an outdoor restaurant or surrounded by a gazillion people, I move. I'm afraid of heights, and drowning, and the general feeling of weightlessness. And grasshoppers - awhile back I had a dream I was being chased by a giant grasshopper that everyone else kept calling the coolest thing ever.
14. When you are on your deathbed, what would be the one you’d regret not doing?
Travelling. I've done so much in my mind but so little IRL. I've never felt connected to my home country the way I do when I look at a calendar image of Ireland or listen to European folk music.
Okay… lets talk about your writing!
15. Which is your favorite of the fics you've written for the Bughead fandom?
Quiet Mercy - Struggling with mental illness, I wrote this thinking 'what I wouldn't give to have friends that step up the way the Riverdale gang is for Betty.'
16. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?
For plot, that's South Side Story, only because there's so much other stuff going on - from the musical to the shady legal dealings to Bughead pretending they're strangers, plus more stuff I haven't even gotten to yet.
17. How do you come up with the ideas for you fic(s)? Do you people watch? Listen to music? Get inspired by TV/movies?
I watch the show. I actually come up with ideas while I'm watching the show - then I go over in my head where I can get more inspiration from. For Quiet Mercy I played around with elements of Legion (real vs not real Lenny), and for South Side Story I delved in Grease.
18. What kind of music are you using to write?
It depends on the story - for Quiet Mercy, I have a Spotify playlist full of angsty folk/rock. In honor of its inspiration roots, I'm using a lot of throwback artists from the sixties and seventies to write South Side Story. I'm using lines from those songs at the top of every chapter.
19. Least favorite plot point/chapter/moment you’ve written?
I can't say I'm too crazy about everything from South Side Story, chapter 2: Pure. Mostly because I wanted things to be much tougher for Betty at South Side High, and I think I might have copped out and given her some cool friends too quickly.
20. Favorite plot point/chapter/moment you’ve written?
For South Side Story, it was when Betty took on the stoners that had stolen her car. I felt like that was the first time I'd ever been able to write her as the clever badass I've always seen her to be. For Quiet Mercy, I want to say it's the love scene, but in reality it's a much smaller scene that happens earlier on, when Betty drops in on Jughead's foster family during dinner. I thrive on tension, I guess.
21. Favorite character to write?
So, in any world, I love to write the characters that do interesting things but express themselves quietly - basically Jughead. I also invented a transgender character who is fast becoming the most fun to use for deadpan - Sonny Chan.
22. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you've written?
I have lots!
QUIET MERCY
Veronica: How about someone with no blue-collar marketable skills for Career Day and nothing equipped to help the people around me who are falling apart? I might as well sign up to be a professional pine tree!
Archie: Hey man, what's been going on?
Jughead: Ah, you know. Homework. Serpent side projects. I think my foster family has a Stepford cult.
SOUTH SIDE STORY
Sonny: I don't know about you guys, but this looks like at least a three year prison sentence. Maybe four - do you have any fireworks?
Jughead: I want you to put the top up so that I can touch you without looking over our shoulders. Betty: Smell that? I think someone left their bong in here.
23. Best comment/review you’ve ever received?
Honestly, my Bughead fics are pretty light in comments. I've written fics for other fandoms though, and it really got me through some dark times whenever someone said they'd been staying up just to see if I'd update.
24. How do you handle bad reviews or comments?
I've never gotten any of those...the worst for me is no comments, because then it kind of feels like no one cares, you know?
25. If you could change anything in any of your stories, what would it be?
I'd lighten it up. I've been so serious lately, I have no clue how to laugh anymore.
26. What is your favorite story you’ve ever written? Any fandom?
The biggest one I ever did was for Humans - I took a girl and handful of conscious robots and sent them across Europe with only audiobooks, a Wicked sing-along, and a dog to keep them occupied while they saved the world. I still read it every so often and wonder who was hijacking my body while it was being made.
27. What are you reading right now? Both fan fiction and general fiction?
Not reading too much now...I can never read and write at the same time. But Don't Drink the (Maple) Water by @christah88 is a freakin' pot of gold. (And yes 'pot' was referred to with appropriately ironic humor.)
28. Do you have an advice for writers that want to get into this fandom but might be scared?
Go for it! Plenty of nice people around - I'm pretty sure that anyone here in general doesn't sign up just to say 'stay away from me.' We're all looking to make friends, and there are plenty of ways to do that. Also I'm pretty new to this fandom myself - I just binged on Riverdale a couple of weeks ago. My inbox is practically empty, I'd love to change that. Thanks for reading!

asian drama asks...
well… I know it’s an ask thingy created by kpop-asks-etc , but I really wanna do it as a tag, because I’m a kdrama fan way more than I am a kpop fan (even though my blog says otherwise, it’s true), and i post so little about dramas on this channel, so here you go. whoever wants to do it, feel free.
1: Favorite K-Drama? I have two favorite dramas; I can’t choose between them and I always recommend them both: Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Reply 1997 😍 WATCH THEM, NOW, STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND GO WATCH THEM, GO, GO, GO (my advice: watch Reply 1997 first, then watch a light drama in between, then watch Scarlet Heart; I cried my eyes out in both, but SHR was way worst, I sobbed in every episode for like… the last 5 episodes.)
2: Least favorite K-Drama? My Secret Romance 😩
3: First K-Drama you watched? Technically the first drama I ever watched was Boys Over Flowers, but the first one I ever finished was Heirs
4: Last K-Drama you watched? Fight My Way; very nice, saved the year (so far)
5: K-Drama OTP(s)? I don’t usually have OTP’s, I ship characters but it’s not like OHW MA GOD OTP, however, there is one that… 🙆🏼🙆🏼🙆🏼
Tumblr media
6: K-Drama NOTP(s)? I don’t thing I have NOTP’s 🤔
7: Preferred drama genre? Romance(?) IDK is that a genre? Lately I’ve been into Slice of Life/Realistic
8: First drama you considered your favorite? Emergency Couple
9: Favorite Korean actor(s)? Favorite of Favorites: Lee Joon Gi. Favorites: Seo In Guk, Lee Min Ho, Song Joong Ki, Gong Yoo, Kang Ha Neul
10: Favorite Korean actress(es)? Yoon Eun Hye, Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Sung Kyung, Shin Hye Sun
11: Favorite K-Drama cliche? oh lord so many… let me think (and google it)… rich guy-poor girl, friends to lovers, hate-to-love, forced cohabitation, arranged/contract marriages turned romances,
12: Least favorite K-Drama cliche? amnesia (when used later in the drama or to justify bad decisions or create unnecessary drama), wrist grab (so stupid 😡), back hug (if it’s done right, it’s ok), evil mother/mother-in-law, closed mouth kiss (not like pecks or little chaste adorkable ones but the ones when you can clearly see they’re not moving not breathing completly petrified), cross dressing (I liked it in the beginning coffee prince 💙, I’ve just grown tired of the girls LITERALLY looking like girls instead of boys and no one ever suspects anything)
13: Top five K-Dramas? Since I’ve already mentioned my 2 favorites (read question 1), I won’t count those. So: Coffee Prince, Emergency Couple, Descendants of the Sun, Secret Garden, Boys Over Flowers
14: Boys Over Flowers or Secret Garden? ugg why, hmmmm SG
15: Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo or Cheese in the Trap? I didn’t watch CitT, but I watched WFKBJ and it was pretty great 😊
16: Jealousy Incarnate or Oh My Ghostess? Again, only watched OMG, was cute
17: Descendants of the Sun or W: Two Worlds? DOTS (gave up on W, even tough i like Lee Jong Suk’s acting)
18: Moonlight Drawn by Clouds or Legend of the Blue Sea? Didn’t watch MDbC, but LotBS was kind not what I was expecting (was pretty meh)
19: Strong Woman Do Bong Soon or Shopping King Louie? Didn’t Watch SWDBS because had watched Weightlifting Fairy a moth before and wasn’t up for something with the same theme, currently am on episode 2 of Louie
20: Reply 1997, Reply 1994, or Reply 1988? 1997 (haven’t watched the others, don’t want to)
21: Lee Jong Suk or Ji Chang Wook? Never watched Ji Chang Wook’s acting (I’m curious, but he usually does kind thriller/crime/mystery dramas which I’m not really into)
22: Song Joong Ki or Park Bo Gum? Never watched Park Bo Gum’s acting (but want to)
23: Jo Jung Suk or Seo In Guk? my love, Seo In Guk
24: Jisoo or Nam Joo Hyuk? HOW CAN I CHOOSE 😱😥 NJH just because I’ve seen more dramas with him
25: Park Hyung Sik or Kim Soo Hyun? Neither, i don’t really like their acting
26: Favorite Lee Min Ho drama? oh shit… I think I’ve watched every LMH drama except for City Hunter and Faith… I’ll choose Personal Taste cause I’ve mentioned BOF before
27: Favorite K-Drama bromance? I can only think of Goblin when the word ‘bromance’ is mentioned, but I didn’t like the bromance in that drama, even though both Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook ‘s acting were good.. oh wait! Park Seo Jun and Siwon in She Was Pretty
28: Favorite K-Drama friendship? Coffee Prince, Fight My Way and Reply 1997 have very nice friendships
29: Favorite actor/actress duo? (one male, one female) HA! well she’s not really and actress but the cat from Imaginary Cat and Yoo Seung Ho
30: Favorite actor duo? ugh IDK I think I’ve mention Scarlet Heart a lot in this…
31: Favorite actress duo? oooooo Jung Ji Hyun and Hong Jin Kyung
32: Do you watch dramas with 30+ episodes? I tend not to, I think I only watched Temptation of Wife and The Mystic Nine…
33: Thoughts on web-dramas based around idol groups? (ex: EXO Next Door) aaaaaaaaaaaa no
34: Favorite idol actor? D.O. and T.O.P
35: Favorite idol actress? Jung Eunji and IU
36: Song Hye Kyo or Han Hyo Joo? SHK
37: Nam Ji Hyun or Park Bo Young? NJH (great in Angel Eyes, pretty good so far in SKLouie)
38: Jung Eunji or Bae Suzy? Eunji
39: Jung So Min or Kim So Hyun? KSH (very talented)
40: Kim Seul Gi or Kim Go Eun? KSG (but Go Eun is good too)
41: Favorite Park Shin Hye Drama? i don’t like her at all, but Pinocchio i guess…
42: Favorite K-Drama kiss scene? why can’t I post gifs on this damn thing? anyway, from Reply 1997, the one when Seo In Guk has a hideous orange shirt with a vest, from DOTS, the wine one, when Song Joong Ki is in his green military uniform
43: One K-Drama you could rewatch over and over? see question 1
44: How often do you watch C-Dramas? not often; tried to watch Cruel Romance once but was dumb enough to watch the sample instead of the actual episode and never came back to it, watch The Mystic Nine this year because of Yixing, was pretty great until episode 15, then kinda not
45: How often to you watch Thai Dramas? never watched it, considering watching the Full House version, mainly because the leads did a honeymoon travel magazine photoshoot recently and they looked like they have such great chemistry
46: How often do you watch J-Dramas? the only one I’ve watched was Switch Girl, pretty traumatizing tbh (love japanese drama movies though)
47: Least preferred type of drama between Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dramas? How can I judge if I majorly watch Korean dramas? It’s not like I hate the rest, I just watch kdramas a lot
48: Favorite C-Drama? not enough experience to judge
49: Favorite J-Drama? not enough experience to judge
50: Favorite Thai Drama? not enough experience to judge
51: Go-to K-Drama when you have nothing else to watch? I don’t have a drama, but i have a trope: the rich lives of chaebol
52: Favorite male lead character? i really loved all of the Reply 1997 characters and I’ve seen Seo In Guk in other roles, but Yoon Yoon Jae was probably 81% of the reason why I love that drama so much
53: Favorite female lead character? Chun Song Yi was everything
54: Recommend 3 fluffy AF dramas Weightlifting Fairy, Choco Bank and Queen of the Ring
55: Recommend 3 angsty AF dramas can only think of SHRyeo and We Broke Up
56: Recommend 1 mini-drama (any # of episodes, each last) Queen of the Ring is nice
57: Recommend 1 mini-series (30+ episodes, 1hr long each) don’t have one
58: List 3 dramas you plan you watch Arang and the Magistrate, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and The Moon Embracing the Sun
59: Tell a random story involving K-Dramas +/- 2 years ago, when I was watching Coffee Prince, my mom would look at the screen and ask what they were saying (i watched with eng sub) and I had to translate. she asked so many times I ended changing the sub to portuguese (thanks viki) so she could understand. it is the only drama we watched together, she would get so mad if I watched an episode without her and until this day she recognizes Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye
60: Name one drama you dropped, and explain why the most recent was Wednesday 3:30 p.m. thought it would be a cute childhood friends turned lovers drama but the first episode disappointed me a lot plus it was nothing like what I was hoping it was

Tên tôi là chị Sheffield
Hey guys. This week was a crazzzzzy one!!!!!!!! In a nut shell, 1) Elder Wong of the Asia Area Presidency, and quorum of 70 came to Bodia. He and his wife were SO great. He was the one that spoke in Cantonese at Gen Conf a couple years ago. He is hilarious. I will definitely never forget him because he taught me sooo much! in such a short period of time. It's a talent that he is very good at. Ex: I had to conduct my first meeting at MLC (mission leadership council) and no one told me how to do it so I just read the agenda, right? HA HA turns out I am the worst conductor ever. Long story short never say, "you guys" in front of a general authority. You can but then you get made fun of. We got some one on one time with him and Sister Wong afterwards and they answered our questions. He is very wise and will teach you in a way where you have to figure out the answer by yourself. He gave Sister Larsen and I a little sheep pin with little dainty pearls. Adding it to the collection along with the Canadian flag pin. 2) Trio!!!!!!!! Sister Sok is a sister from Australia who had to go home last week because she was sick. It was interesting being in a trio. Pretty fun, we had to run a lot of errands (our life every day now) but we ended up teaching a good amount of lessons and getting a ton of referrals from members so it was a SUCCESSful week. We even had a baptism! We are reaping a lot of the past Sisters' harvest... *shoutout to Harree* A single girl named Bong Lisa was baptized. She is pretty adorable and always has lots of stories to tell. Ha ha but after learning for a long time she was ready and now we are setting goals with her to go to the temple. Woo hoo!! It was once again, a great baptismal service and our ward is so goooood. A lot of them are some of the first members in Cambo. So they've stuck it out for 20 years now and are pretty proud of it. I've learned about lots of pride, jealousy, and scandals in the past few weeks... 3) I got my first neck pillow! 4) I made a great lunch one day. #domestic I steamed some sweet potatoes, had some organic black rice, with toast, an egg, and 100% raw milk. (illegal in the US) I now know that there is such thing as really, really good milk. I just thought I'd let you know that I am developing some homemaker talents. Last week the Thurstons got us a crock pot. Stay tuned next week. 5) My lovely Eagle Idaho friends from last year came back!!!!! :) The connections never end with those ones. We did a service project outside the church to make it all pretty. We found a decaying rat and a few cockroaches. No biggie hehe 6) I forgot to mention before about my helmet. I'm displeased to announce that it has passed on. The green machine, alien lime green helmet is now on to better paths. My mission president is expecting me to give it to him so he can put it up in his office, so it will find a better home. It's a little sensitive right now but I'm doing ok/fine. Alright my favorite number is 6 so i'll stop there. Thanks for reading, friends and loved ones. Peace. Swag. Blessings. Sister Sheffield
