Welcome to Elz posts art from their graphics class again because she never draws anything interesting any other time LMAO

This is a study I did on Studio Ghibli concept artstyle, based mostly on an image created for Princess Mononoke. The process was basically just drawing the lineart with a mechanical pencil, scanning it in, fucking with the levels then I did all the colouring digitally on photoshop becuase apparently I hate myself?/j

Confused my lecturer because photoshop brushes suck and she was shook <3

I don’t save them I just use the gif search thingy on here and just like type “anime [insert whatever word]”. A pretty anime.. hmmm honestly I don’t watch too much anime, just here and there and been pretty busy and too tired to watch lately. Also I have terrible memory so a lot of the times I can’t even remember the names.. plus was more of a manga person ^^;;;

SOZ I CAN’T GIVE A STRAIGHT TO SAVE MY LIFE! Idk if this counts but all I can think of is Studio Ghibli movies.. for “pretty” anime ik there’s like a whole bunch of pretty animes like idk ’Your name’. But idk I’m more into different art styles and aesthetics like (tangent: but I struggled to answer this bc I just kept thinking of slightly old animes and not necessarily pretty animes.) Paprika - loved the aesthetic and chaos, Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust (not super into vampires btw) but this is kinda how I envisioned vampires and I loved the artstyle and overall aesthetic, OHSHC it’s just super cute idk how else to explain that lmao and idk I also really liked Samurai Champloo style and music (plus I just like any samurai anime or manga lol).
