You sat on the couch, fidgeting with the sleeves of your favorite Hoodie. Having your Headphones on, listening to the same Song over and over again. Something you do alot cause you hate trying new Things Like music, TV Shows and movies. You often google the Outcome of a Show or whatever you are watching cause you get stressed not knowing. Could also be your anxiety playing into this. When you play football it's different. You don't mind not knowing the outcome. You are (almost) always at your best on the pitch.

Viv always knew exactly what to do to get you out of your head space when your mind was all over the place. She sat next to you and took your hand in hers, squeezing it. Trying to ground you, which slowly worked cause you stopped fidgeting. "Thanks Viv. " You told her. Offering her a small smile. She smiled back at you. "You don't have to thank me, it's what i am here for!" She replied. "You are only two years older, yet you do so much for me and always take care of me. Don't you get annoyed sometimes? Isn't my adhd too much for you sometimes?" You wanted to know. She pulled you in for a hug. "Yeah i get annoyed sometimes! But not cause of your adhd! A thought I would like you to sit on and think about:

When they get old, Poolverine, I mean, and logans easily about 1206 while wades like 1047. Wade obviously doesn't need tonworry about grey hairs and adores logans white hairs, but how would Wade look? Would he get wrinkles? Would he look only 60ish, look much younger than logan since he's almost 50 and looks barely 26? Is he skinner? Just how badly has his body aged? Disregarding comic lore- I wanna know your opinion. Would Logan struggle to walk around? Will the tables turn and he is now part time in a wheel chair? Whats their day like? Cabin in the woods is nice but that requires hunting and long trips to the store. Is puppins old too? Since she's a deadpool shes technically "immortal" too dont you think? How many times a week do they just sit infront of the fire at night, talking about their youth and stories? ... how many funerals have they attended? Do they even bother making friends anymore? Do you think that theyve learned to isolate themsleves from the world and become so codependent that they do absolutely everything together? Do you think in this older state that it takes them longer to heal? Can logan even use his claws anymore or does he soley rely on guns now?

Okay....I have so many thoughts. So many.

So firstly, discussing the way they age. I assume that Wade, because of how his regeneration works, stays the same age. His body always regenerates to that same state- the same age and condition- his body was in when he mutated, which is partly why the cancer is still eating away at his body. I don't think he really will ever age. Maybe his scars change a little over the years, getting rougher and redder as he ages.

I think he does get skinnier- less muscley- purely from them eventually putting up their suits for good and settling in to a more domestic life. I don't think he can put on weight because of the cancer, and I think the chronic pain gets worse too. He has more bad days where he can't really do much but lay in a warm bathtub and wait for the heat to fix his aching muscles.

If he does age though? If his body finally gives in and let's him get older? He is probably a mess, both physically and mentally. Wade feels bittersweet about gaining wrinkles and his hearing worsening. On one hand, he's glad that the world has allowed him the luxury, on the other? He hates that he lookes even worse than he did before. The scars start to turn brighter shades of red, the skin wrinkling and sagging in places, and it makes him even more insecure of how he looks.

Either way, his healing gets a little slower and he can feel the cancer trying to fight it's way in.

Mary Puppins is much the same. She doesn't really get older, just gets tired a little easier, and shakes if it gets too cold.

Logan? Logan ages SLOWLY. Very slowly. Eventually, though, he's getting aches and pains like everyone else, accompanied by wrinkles and joint pain. The claws stop working at some point. They refuse to cooperate with him, and eventually, he gives up. The constant ache of them sat idle causes his hands to shake slightly, and it's something he doesn't really like talking about. The one thing he was good at, and now? Now they don't even work.

I think Logan would panic a little at the idea of ageing- used to practically being the same for so long- but he would accept it pretty quickly. He would be kinda glad at the idea of finally getting older, finally being able to do something 'normal', even if it means he isn't as fast or agile anymore. They aren't sure if it's the poison from the adamantium or not, but his breathing gets a little weaker too. His healing slows down too, and it takes alot longer to heal from the tiniest cut- which he assumes is because his healing factor is trying to deal with the whole aging thing.

Wade would be the one having a full on meltdown. After so long, he finally had someone who 'matched his freak'- someone who truly understood his pain and trauma, someone who wouldn't die on him- and now, here he was, staring at the first sign of a grey hair on Logan's head. It reminds him that one day, he really will be alone, no matter what. Logan isn't going to be around forever, but Wade will.

Once Wade isn't panicking about Logan getting old, and once they realise that Logan is going to continue to deteriorate, they move to a little one floor house just outside of the city. There are no stairs, which helps Logan's aching hips, and the walk in shower (you know what I mean) is ready for when neither of them can get in and out of the tub anymore. They make sure Mary has a nice comfortable bed next to the fireplace, and Logan gets a big enough couch that him and Wade can fall asleep comfortably if they need too.

They don't really talk to anyone after all these years. After watching everyone they love pass away, they don't feel the need to make friends anymore. Logan and Wade both can't deal with the idea of watching someone they love waste away again- not now that they are both ageing themselves.

All they care about now is eachother- and Mary Puppins- and they take care of eachother as best as they can. Logan makes Wade heat packs and helps him clean up whe he vomits, Wade helps Logan move about when he isn't in a wheelchair and massages the aching muscles in between his knuckles.

It's tough, but they manage. They survive by keeping the other alive, and even though they know it'll end badly- either Logan is going to die and leave Wade, or they are both going to die together- it never stops their need to keep eachother safe.

Logan has to watch Wade as the cancer slowly starts to fight back and win, while Wade has to watch Logan age and the possibility of the poison taking over.

Anyway here's the finished design for my Jessa fankid, Jecka! Read more about her below the cut

Jecka's full name is Jessica, though she doesn't really like being called by it - it had the vibes of "mom's mad" whenever she gets called by her government name.

She's... quite the enigma. Due to Tessa's own code being tinted by her biological data (DNA, memories etc.) it had been quite difficult and straining to even get a compatible match with J in order to produce enough code for a UNN to be established. It took them 4 fails and 1 successful transfer to finally 'conceive' Jecka and even then it wasn't without isse..

Jecka frequently shuts down and has to be rebooted via another Drone's OS to get her starting again - mostly experienced whenever she's stressed or angry (high/intense emotions make her overheat easily... which is unfortunate seeing how much of a hot head she is).

During her later childhood/teenage years she struggled fairly hard with her existance, especially seeing how some folks in her age range would call her "mutt" due to her 'defective' code and the fact that one of her parents was a literal human before being transferred into her drone body. Jecka doesn't take lightly to this and had often beaten other kids up who insulted her or her parents, struggling to cope with the feeling of 'not belonging' or even being 'different' from her peers.

Her only true friends were and still are Angel and Becky, despite her and Angel butting heads from time to time. Jecka's relationship with her mom's is... strained, especially with J. Tessa's 100% her favourite parent and she mainly tries to stay around her while often argueing with J. As J struggles to break out of her cooperate-esque mindset and being very strict with their daughter, Jecka doesn't take well to this. Matching her mom's energy they often fought, even if J does love her daughter dearly.

This worsened when Jecka became aware that J has and is still somewhat struggling with the fact that Jecka shares not only relations (code) but also appearances with Cyn. Jecka doesn't acknowledge Cyn as some sort of parent, she's more like a... estranged aunt to her. They get along, but both sides just don't force interactions.

Despite everything Jecka's a "ride or die" kind of person/friend. She'd do anything for Becky and Angel, especially Angel - since she slowly finds herself developing a crush on them. She might be hot headed, but there's alot of hidden traits Jecka's afraid to openly show due to her fearing that it might be used against her. She only ever truely feels comfortable around Angel and her immediate family.

While Jecka can display the Solver emblem on her visor it's merely cosmetic. Similar to J and the other Disassembly Drones she's a dormant User - able of regeneration and cannot be controlled by Solver abilities like telekinesis, she cannot use it. J and Tessa made sure not to make her into a Solver User herself.

He was either taken in by Vector one of two ways, first being he was found in a box while Vector was dumpster diving to get food for him and Espio, or, Charmy was abandoned in Vectors arms. (One of Vectors jobs when he was younger was babysitting and one day the parents just. didnt come back.)

One of his favorite foods is fish but it isnt because he likes it its just because of his constant exposure to it. (Big is the main provider of jobs for the Chaotix but he pays in fish.)

thus bringing to yeah no he doesnt really like tails that much. well not really tails but just tails' whole thing. like 1 hes the little brother to a renowned hero and charmys a six year old in the care of a poor household like obvi he's a bit mad with that but also like charmys just surrounded by so many people with powers and talent and hes one of the youngest ones but nobody really pays attention to his own accomplishments because tails can build a whole robot army and charmy is just the little kid of the chaotix. he doesn't like to hang out with tails because he is a constant reminder of the fact that there is always someone he knows whos better then him and cared for by alot more people

He was named after a brand (in gens theres a billboard in city escape labelled "Charmys Sweet Honey" and me and some friends thought it'd be funny if Vector named baby Charmy that)

he likes to nap alot, especially during winter. he'll fall asleep in weird places, also. like one day Espio will have idk Silver over or something and Silver opens a cabinet to get some food and screams because Charmy is just asleep in it. Vector goes to a laundry mat and as he puts the clothes in a washer he realizes charmy is asleep in the basket buried in the clothes and stuff

He enjoys really spicy things but can't really feel the pain from it he just likes he tastes

he starts to attend school at like age 11 because the chaotix couldn't afford it at all until then but charmy knows alot of things at an advanced level because the people he grew up with just taught him whatever he knew

he is not good at socializing with people his age and doesnt have many friends because of it (wrote my awesome fic based on this i love not focusing on schoolwork to write charmy bee struggling with loneliness)

despite being a bee he is allergic to pollen. which sucks for him because he likes to pick flowers and plants and make salads and does NOT want to stop just because of allergies. unfortun8ly espio is also allergic so when charmy comes home sneezing and sniffling he knows hes cooked

Shadow and Rouge are his most frequent babysitters so he mimics alot of things from them, like speech patterns and the way they move

he mirrors those he likes frequently so when he matches something with someone he doesnt like he'll like immidietly change that. go to the park and sees hes matching jackets with some kid he hates he takes the jacket off until the day ends

he's pretty sensitive to temperatures, but like cold wise. hes more cold then it actually is like it can be 76°F (like 24°C) and he would bring a sweater outside

Okay this is gonna be super rushed and probably have alot of mistakes but I need this out of my system so it will most likely be like half a shitpost !!!

When i think of Jinx and Mel at a flat level, i assume that they are very different from eachother, there is no personal connection between the two at all, they don't even know eachother and they both have very different roles in the show, not to mention the difference in demeanor and character as well.

But Arcane, a show full of parallels, always knows how to connect each of its characters to one another somehow, I find it amazing that you can find so many similarities despite their vast differences even if it was the most subtle thing ever, its like the tiniest bits of detail SCREAM at you.

One of my favorite (and most obvious) things about Mel and Jinx is the fact that they speak of their past THROUGH THEIR ART, I don't think I really need to go ahead and dissect this to the last atom since it's already very clear what their drawings mean to them and to the story, but they prefer to cope with their trauma by painting/making things that remind them of the past or has a relation to it, there is ALWAYS a piece (or pieces) of art about something that continues to HAUNT them to this day, for Jinx its "doodles" of the hallucinations of Mylo, Claggor & Vi who are almost everywhere she is, as for Mel its the bloody necklace thats hung above her head and over her bed alongside the painting of the immortal bastion to remind her about "home".

Whats even crazier is the fact that their art is also tied to the people who cast them out from their family, Powder before this was always called a Jinx ESPECIALLY by Mylo and she was considered weak and unable to handle things like the others, leading her to change and become somebody new after they left, sound a little familiar? Because Mel was also considered weak, sentimental, too soft to be a Medarda E S P E C I A L L Y by Ambessa at a young age, and what happened after? Gone. Afterwards, they find themselves in a new place where people "look up to them" or they're seen as someone with higher importance.

And I've spoken a bit about the visual similarities in an earlier post, but we gotta appreciate their attitudes towards their "parental" figures, I don't know why but its funny to see how much sass they throw at them, its what inspired this post actually. Maybe its just the satisfaction of seeing my two least favorite characters get the same honest reaction I have by my favorite characters 😭

They're both tired of their shit and its the best thing to ever exist.

Let's not forget how they both got genuinely angry at them as well? Jinx snatching Silcos injection from his hands and being pissed at him for lying to her about everyone being dead, while Mel slapped the goblet out of Ambessas hand, upset that she played with Jayce unrightfully so.

The color and design differences is a beautiful parallel too, Jinx is often surrounded by cold or dark colors like Blue, Green, black with a hint of purple and pink and dressed like her personality, while Mel is more light & Warm-toned with yellow/gold, red, white and a wee bit of black which is all matching to her Elegance. This is just a general parallel between characters of Zaun and Piltover overall, but its always very appealing when you compare them together.

And finally, its them completely letting go of their past selves and starting out new literally by the last episode after struggling with who they are the whole time, Powder was officially gone by the end of the season, and Mel was no longer Medarda. Jinx is just Jinx, Mel is just Mel, and they are both going to do things their own way and that was shown with how Mel took off her ring and painted over the Immortal Bastion with gold , and how Jinx launched her rocket towards the council with her own art on it too.

Its funny to think that thats the only physical connection they could possibly have and that its related to their character arcs, its related to them making a new big decision, it has a strong relation to their art, and a strong relation to them saying goodbye to their family.

Hope this made sense !!!!!!!! I honestly just want them to like idk hug or something and go to loo loo land and paint together or whatever in a different universe and cope with their shared trauma together no fuss no muss. Fanfic writers where did you go y'all are missing out on this super mega awesome cool older&younger sister / mother-daughter duo.

my eternal sunshine: why my last relationship didn’t work out

in my last post, i mentioned how my (now ex) boyfriend cheated on me during my 2024 solar return. not only did my last post inspire me to talk about this, the song intro (end of the world) was also my biggest inspiration. it’s been a year now, and i would like to finally reflect on my relationship with him by dissecting our composite chart.

with saturn in the 1st house, it felt as if we were both constantly working on our relationship instead of just being in it. we both wanted to act more mature than we were to make things “last”, even when we weren’t ready. we got together when i was 17 and when he was 19 already talking about getting married and starting an entire life together at such a young age with little experience of what a real relationship looks like.

at times our relationship felt nurturing and safe all the while feeling like we were trying to build emotional security and being scared of vulnerability. the home we wanted to create kept falling apart.

with this placement, there was a constant push-pull between control and surrender. i remember fighting over alot of things almost everyday even for the little things. just a lot of struggles in our daily routines. it also felt as if though we kept trying to “fix” ourselves.

there was this deep emotional entanglement between us. we both feared emotional abandonment and felt overwhelmed and drained with such emotional intensity between us. some days it felt as if it was too much

there were wounds around intimacy and trust. i remember he’d always go through my phone but would pull his phone away each time i’d reach for it and fights would break out because of it. we both did not trust each other at ALL. anytime i’d go somewhere, he had me on facetime and turn the camera around to show him that i wasn’t sitting next to any guys. he also didn’t like me going to the gym on my own. neither did he like the way my uniform would make me look so he’d ask if i put on a jacket over it. but he’s not the only one that did these things. i wouldn’t allow him to talk to any girls or look at them or even look for a second job because i was afraid he was going to cheat on me. i also held double standards for myself, allowing myself to talk to my male coworkers or class mates. we were truly a match made in hell

power clashes around values, beliefs, goals. we had this obsession with growth or “fixing” the relationship. control issues disguised as big picture plans. i remember we both had this saying “i rather start a thousand times over with you than with someone else” because how desperately and committed we were to staying together. especially on his end. i was always the one breaking up with him almost every month for small things and he’d be the one to get us back together.

conclusion

in the end, things worked out the way they were supposed to, a lot of opportunities opened up right in front of me and im glad i got to at least experience that chapter with him and not just anyone. at one point that was my best friend that i grew up with and despite of it all, i still have love for him, but i can only love him from a distance. its better off that way. i hope my eternal sunshine is doing well.

[mechs-headcanons]

my headcannons for everyone's mobility aids that I can think off off of the top of my head and other things I'm too tired to think:

Nastya: Blue cane, transparent, sparkles in the light. She has similar looking crutches, but also sometimes the Aurora just helps her along with her cables (the best mobility aid. trust me.) She also has alot of braces

Jonny: The Dr House cane. He probably has a cheap shitty wheelchair somewhere that he got because he refuses to accept that he actually is in that much pain that often and only really uses it to try and hit Nastya with.

Ivy: Crutches, but they have pouches attached to them to carry books. Probably forearm crutches, but the elbow ones. I think they'd either be plain black all over, or they'd be red and gold to match her asethtic. (She uses them very rarely though, only if her brain is refusing to let her use her legs at all. I feel like it's obvious I project on Ivy sometimes.)

Tim: Cane. I love the headcannons of Tim being the most fashionable on the Aurora(or one of them.), so he has an entire collection of canes. Ones got dragons on it:) (he also gets back pain.) or a plain white cane if his eyes don't want to work that day.

Ashes: Cane but also maybe a wheelchair. I think they'd have problems with balance and keeping their breath, and also, the lungs have got to be so heavy that's got to take it out of them.

Marius: Crutches. I think this should be made canon. He loses his kneecaps all the time (which same here, that's basically the same as constantly semi dislocating your knees trust me am doktor:D.) it would make sense for him to struggle with balance and have to need to use them more often than the other mechs. He's also probably a ambulatory wheelchair user because of this too. His crutches are almost definitely covered with stickers though. (Ivy probably has matching pouches with him so he can carry her books too.)

Brian: Cane, crutches and a wheelchair on occasion. If his entire body and brain was remade, there's no way there's not going to be chronic pain, or issues with signals. His canes probably an old man wooden one, his crutches are probably the cheap £30 ones you can get from Amazon and his wheelchairs probably Jonny's when it's not being used. All in all bloody hell Brian you can get better equipment.

I think they definitely have it all semi? Scattered about, but I also think each person stores their aids in specific locations. Like Marius's crutches are always nearby him as he's an almost full time user, whereas you could realistically say that Jonny ate his cane and I wouldn't shrug. The most common place for mobility aids though would probably be the bedrooms or in the main living/common room. Or the kitchens. Or if your name is Dr Baron Marius Von Raum in the mouth of an octokitten.

nastya: yes. give her a sparkly cane/crutches. i also do like that the idea that the aurora helps her around:} she probably also has knee pillows for when she’s fixing stuff and she has to be on her knees or crawling for long periods of time.

jonny: his cane is probably also set to the wrong height cause no one taught him how to use it right and he refuses to change it when someone points out it’s wrong. i bet he only uses the wheelchair if someone pushes it for him cause he’s dramatic like that /lh

ivy: mm yeah :D she probably doesnt use a wheelchair because she gets antsy sitting for too long :} i think when her brain doesnt let her use her legs, it feels sorta like when your foot falls asleep but on her whole leg and for a longer period of time.

tim: definitely. he matches his cane to whatever colour eyes he picked that day cause he’s coordinated like that. when his eyes malfunction i think he doesn’t have any in at all (cause i think of his mechanism sort of like a prosthetic) cause it’s irritating when he has non-working eyes in. also the coloured bits and the actual mechanism are separate:D

ashes: wheelchair ashes mm, they definitely have a decked out one with stickers and like a fire decal over the wheels. they dont use it much on the ship unless they’re having a bad fatigue day, only when they’re going long distances on a planet so they don’t get tired.

marius: crutches marius<33 i bet his armpits are bruised/have issues cause of his crutches but he refuses to admit that it’s an issues. (i do trust you, you are a doktor /silly). even when his kneecaps aren’t missing, i bet they’re loose and click/shift/lock up quite a lot (i’m projecting cause that’s what happens to me) love the book bag on his wheelchair for ivy omg yes :} his wheelchair is the nicest in the crew’s cause he uses it quite a lot

brian: i bet all of brian’s aids are second hand but he doesn’t want to get new ones cause in his words “if it aint broke, dont fix it” (it is broke, and it does need to be fixed). brian also regularly disappears into dark corners of the aurora when he gets migraines because he refuses to admit he’s in pain. i think the only think of his that isn’t second hand is a hip brace that raphaella forced him to get :}

OK now for the guys you missed oh geez i’ve been writing for three years (or so it feels like /silly)

raphaella: i think she’d have back pain from her wings, cause they’re metal and really heavy. she probably has a special back brace so she doesn’t screw her whole spine up. she also has some knee pain but doesn’t use a cane for it, just some more braces.

TS: ok ik it’s literally made of wood but like let me have joy and make it disabled, it’s my favourite,,, i think it’s joints rub together, especially in it’s hands and ankles because the joints there are smaller (arthritis ✨✨). i also think it’s joints lock up. it wears compression gloves and socks :} it also uses a cane, not cause it needs it but because it wants to fit in :D

•His wardrobe is crop tops, booty shorts, a single pair of gray sweats, jeans, and flannels/button ups. He still has his battle body but he doesn't wear it as often. His scarf is worked into most outfits still as well a his mittens but he has a few pairs of mittens at this point for different outfits.

•A tea person for sure. Prefers herbal mixes over anything but also really enjoys golden flower tea. He likes to drink his tea as is but will add a spoonful or two of sugar sometimes.

•Has a multitude of hobbies some of which being yoga, jigsaw puzzles, occasional gaming mostly with friends (he prefers board games but video games are fun to him as well),and attending hobby classes. He likes to keep busy throughout the week and his schedule is constantly full.

•Speaking of his schedule he's like a job, he has his whole week planned out a week before hand on Fridays. He likes to know what he's doing ahead of time as he just finds it easier with how much he gets up to. He uses stickers alot in his schedule and has emoji reaction ones to show how each event went. He uses a new pen colour for each month as well.

•Actually not that bad of a chef after the first few months. He takes a few cooking classes and improves immensely. He's a really good chef after awhile of practice and forcing Sans to suffer through his practice food. He likes to cook for people throughout the whole process and does so with utmost confidence even when he's in his not the best chef phase.

•He volunteers alot at pantries and soup kitchens. He likes to give back to the community and feels like volunteer work is a good way of doing that plus he gets to meet so many interesting people!

•Papyrus is definitely the mom friend and when he goes out he always has a bag filled with everything you need. Oh you need a spare pair of sunglasses? Here you go a bandaid and some monster candy? Boom. 12 gallons of fake blood and a clown costume? He's got you covered but he may ask questions.

•On being the mom friend he is a bit of a worrywart. He has tons of spiels for different occasions. Like why getting out of bed and doing stuff is important to a happy healthy life. He just wants the best for his friends!

•He texts his close friends alooot throughout the day to update them on what he's doing and ask what they're up too. He likes checking up on the people close to him and making sure they're taking care of himself a habit he got when sans was struggling underground. He still looks out for his brother like that now

•He knits homemade gifts for everyone each winter. A scarf or hat even a sweater sometimes. Something to keep his loved ones warm and happy while it's chilly out. He knits him and Sans matching Gyftmas sweaters each year.

yvonne values individuality and wouldn't see you any different if you didnt wear your style, she genuinely admires what you do! she's pretty good with fashion, so if you want a critique with kind of broken ratings get yourself your own yvonne! "needs to be more boom–shakalaka", "more fluffy!", "that color doesn't match the top." okay maybe the last one was helpful, but everything else is just her talking without thinking.

she's definitely the best person on this list to shop with, she'll pick out outfits she thinks will look good on you. it's just that she rarely goes shopping, because she rarely needs new clothes or accessories.

yvonne sees this style all the time in the kalos region, and yet she knows little about lolita fashion. if you want, you can tell her terms, types of lolitas, she'll appreciate it even if it's not her really her thing. she appreciates the dedication you people do for your style.

he's familiar with this fashion, having seen it in magazines, posters, and occasionally in the streets of the johto region. nothing too special in his eyes, he's been to alot of places, but he says you pull it off better than most. (he's totally unbiased)

silver has basic knowledge about this. lolita fashion aims to show elegance, so whenever he sees something that would fit your style he'd buy it or point it out if you're near him.

"hey, this looks fitting, do you want it?" he asked grabbing something from the shelf.

while he may not be overly expressive, silver is supportive in subtle ways. he'd buy you surprise gifts, (with the help of green) and would walk around the shops with you if you were looking for something to buy. another way he'd do this is by listening to you yap and yap without ever getting sleepy. he's an attentive listener, but he wouldn't talk over you during your yapping sessions unless you asked him something.

speaking of not being overly expressive he has his own way of complimenting you, silvers smooth with it and he doesn't even notice.

"this fashion style is about elegance and beauty right? you sure make it look effortless."

I think out of all of them, he'd give actual good (average) fashion advice if you asked him directly, despite him wearing literally all black. silver is pretty straightforward and blunt with his opinions, not outright mean though. "I think this looks better" and "maybe try this one?" the fits always turn out really neat!

the second he spots you he's instantly curious, he's seen this style before in johto but never really understood why they wore this stuff. he'll ask some pretty weird questions, or give backhanded compliments, but he's not insulting you in anyway! he finds it pretty cool.

"are you dressing up for a tea party"

"execuse me?" you answered, making him even more confused.

he's interested in the fashion, tell him the difference between the blouses, petticoats, either way it won't matter because he'll forget it and you'll have to remind him. sometimes he's probably just pretending to forget it, so that he can see you get irritated.

drowns you in compliments and words you didn't even know existed, he's just a boy inlove. gold will be your personal photographer! he's surprisingly good at taking pictures, and he'll show you the pictures afterwards gushing out about how cool you looked

like everyone else he's supportive of how you dress! he'll always reassure you that he and everyone else love your style. he's pretty laid–back and kind of mean sometimes, but he knows when to draw the line.

"do i look weird?" you asked him randomly as you guys took a walk, gold stops in his tracks, raises an eyebrow, and crosses his arms.

“weird? you kidding?” he takes a moment to look you over, and then grins. “nah, not weird at all—you look awesome! like, actually way cooler than half the people here.”

sometimes gold will stare at you doing your makeup like a lovestruck fool, just thinking to himself "a person like them is interested in a person like me? woah, jirachi has blessed me yet again" he's lucky to have you.

You had always been afraid of heights, but today you found yourself at the edge of a cliff, surrounded by your adventurous friends who were all eager to take the leap of faith. The group of you had driven to this secluded spot, nestled in the heart of the mountains, specifically for the purpose of cliff diving. The crystal-clear waters below seemed inviting, but you couldn't shake the feeling of vertigo that gripped you every time you looked down.

One by one, your friends took turns jumping off the edge, their laughter and screams of excitement filling the air. Each dive was met with cheers and encouragement from the group, urging you to join them.

"I just got my hair done!" You shouted in excuses.

No matter how hard you tried, you just couldn't bring yourself to take the plunge.

"Come on Y/N, jump! The water isn't even that cold!"

It was spring break. A time you would usually spend with your family, going to church, celebrating easter. But the last semester at university had been hard for you. You struggled alot but got through it. "You deserved to have some fun." Your friends told you, convincing you to join them on their annual road trip through Hungary. A big mistake, considering you now stood looking down the edge of a cliff, trying to talk yourself into plunging to your own death.

"Y/N?"

Dominik, one of your friends, reclimbed the mountain for his second jump.

"You still haven't jumped yet?" He asked.

"No."

"Well then, last man down is a..."

You were already on your way down, the mountain trail.

"Hey, come on. Don't leave."

You turned back around.  "Dom, I don't care what you tell the others, I'm not jumping."

"Come on, quit being such a coward and jump with me."

"Um... what did you call me?"

Dominik was know for his cocky demeanor. Only a few people, including you, knew that he was a gentleman at heart. But to most, especially the girls on campus, he was a known fuckboy with a lean body to match his arrogant persona.

"I said take my hand and let's do this. Trust me you won't regret it."

You snorted. "I'll definitely regret holding your hand."

"Y/N."

"Fine."

You walked to the edge of the cliff, hand in hand, peering over the edge. The wind whipped through your braids as you gazed down at the water below. You felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through your veins, but instead of fear, you felt a sense of exhilaration. This was it – the moment you had been pushing aside for so long.

"Don't let go." You turned to Dominik, he looked puzzled. "Of my hand. Don't let go of my hand until we hit the water."

He smiled. "Trust me, I won't let you go."

Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes. Domink took the lead, stepping off the edge. All you had to do was follow.

Your arms were intertwined as you hurtled towards the water, the rush of the fall making your heart race. Dominik kept his promise, never letting go of your hand. Resurfacing from the deep, you were met with triumphant cheers and applause from your friends.

"Yes, Y/N! Way to go!"

Dominik swam beside you, grinning from ear to ear. "You did it. You finally jumped."

"Thank you." You said, quite humbled by his kindness.

For dinner you and your friends set up to have a nice BBQ around the fireplace. The cliff was located near a known camping spot, that's where you were planning on spending the night.

"Truth or dare?" Someone suggested. It was well into the night and most of you already had alot to drink. Nevertheless, everyone was up for a classic game of truth or dare.

"I dare you to...," said one friend, "sing that embarrassing song from high school that we all used to hate."

"Truth or dare?" asked another, "which celebrity crush do you have that no one else knows about?"

The group erupted into laughter as you watched each other squirm and giggle through the dares. When it came time for you to choose, you decided to mix things up by choosing "truth".

"Okay, what's your biggest fear Y/N?"

"Heights, obviously."

Heartwarming laugher spread around the fireplace.

"Okay, that was too easy. Here is another one. Who here would you let fuck you like there was no tomorrow?"

In a brief state of shock you let your gaze land on Dominik. To your surprise he was already looking your way. His eyes were deceiving and his expression quite hard to read.

"Um...I don't know." You mumbled, once again praising the lord for your melanin skin. It never gave away your flustered embarrassment.

"You have to pick someone."  A girl named Nelly protested.

"Then I guess I pick you." You hissed

The people around the campfire chuckled, someone of them quite impressed with your rapid answer.

Now it was your turn.

"Nelly, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to strip naked and run down to the lake for a swim."

It wasn't a dare for Nelly, it was simply a request. She wasn't shy about her body, everyone knew that. She stood, stripping herself naked with cynical cheerfulness. Asking her to run into the lake was your way of getting rid of her for a minute. She returned to the campfire wet haired, skin glistening in lake water.

"My turn." She said, happily accepting the jacket offered to her by one of the boys.

"Dom, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Which one of us girls would you rather fuck like there was no tomorrow? Be honest."

He gave away a slight chuckle.

The attention was automatically drawn back to you since Dominik received the exact same question you had. Compared to you the questioned hadn't startled him and he would probably give a better answer than you had.

"Well?" Nelly said impatiently. Like everyone else she was eager to hear his answer.

"Well what?" He smirked.

"Who'd you pick, out of us girls?"

Like everyone else's your gaze shifted curiously. However they were all looking at you.

"Me?"

Your attention was brought back to Dominik. And yes, he was in fact staring at you.

"Ohhh, Y/N and Dominik sitting in a tree...." Nelly teseased.

Giggles and laughter spread around the campfire.

"I knew you guys were taking a bit too long up on that cliff." One guy joked. "What were you two doing prior to jumping."

"None of your business." Dominik winked. At last he broke your eye contact. It had been intense, causing blood to rush to your cheeks.

As the night went on and the alcohol continued to flow you somewhat forgot about the silly game of truth and there, that is, until there was a knock on your cabin door far too late in the night.

"Dominik?"

He stood errect in the moonlight, undoubtedly confident to knock on your door at this hour.

"Zayn and Nelly are going off like animals in our cabin, can I stay with you?"

Nelly was meant to be your bunk buddy, now that she had snucked her way into Zayn's cabin, you had an empty bed.

You let him, crawling back into your bed, however, you were startled by the sight of Dominik, pushing Nelly's bunk across the room.

"What are you...."

"There, much better." He said, once Nelly's bed lay alongside yours, making it a conjoined sleeping unit.

"Are you crazy?" You laughed.

"What?"

He joined you under the covers.

"This is so not happening."

"What?"

"This." You pointed to the two of you.

"Y/N, relax. I just don't like going to bed alone. I'm not really used to it if you know what I mean."

You rolled your eyes and pulled the covers over your body. You slept with your back to him.

"Oh, come on. It was a joke."

You sat up, turning to face him. "It wasn't funny, neither was your answer during truth or dare."

He laughed. "What did you want me to do, lie?"

"Please Dominik. As if you've ever been intrested in me."

"Since the day I met you actually."

You frowned.

"Sure, you seemed a bit uptight at first but I thought hey, at least she will be a fun challenge."

"Wow, so getting with me has been a challenge for you, a game?"

"Hey, Y/N. You've got me all wrong. Why is me being into you so hard for you to understand? A guy doesn't make a jump like that twice, unless he is trying to impress a girl."

"You. Impress me?" It was hard for you to understand. "You're telling you reclimbed that mountain to impress me?"

"It worked didn't it? After that you started paying more attention to me, seeing me for more than just a fuckboy."

"I don't only see you as a fuckboy."

"Please, I hear the way you girls talk when you think I'm not listening. How you warn your friends not to fall for my tricks, as if I have any."

You were a bit taken back. In a way this was your first conversation with Dominik that wasn't infatuated with you calling him out for how he treats women. In a way, fueling his already presumed behavior.

"What are you trying to say Dom? That your into me and want me to be your girlfriend?"

"No."

"Oh."

You played with fire. Fire burns.

"I was thinking we could fuck each other like there is no tomorrow. If tomorrow happens to come around." He shrugged. "So be it."

You leaped forward, kissing him, eager to taste him. He explored you in other ways, his hand already finding you under the covers. You could always tell when a guy knew what he was doing or not. Domink knew what he was doing. He found ways to turn you on with gentle strokes, his hands exploring your many curves and creases. He had rolled you over within minutes of taking your clothes off.

"Turn around for me."

"Like this?" You whispered.

"Yes."

He massaged your ass, his fingers moving roughly over your skin. You lay flat on your belly, legs spread. Domink came to you with caution, bending down to trace kissed down the slope of your back all the way to the curve of your ass. You felt his length press against you, he was big, big and ready.

You stretched out like a cat, offering yourself to him.

He grunted in satisfaction.

A hand slipped between your legs. He drew a vertical line with his fingers, sperating your folds along the way.

He place himself behind you, aligning his cock with your entrance. He then slipped in with ease. You were that ready for him.

The bed squeaked with his movment, on the verge of breaking the plank. Once again your heart raced with the thrilling sense of free falling. Winner Gijinka redesign! I like to think they swap between the skirt and pants depending on the challenge.

Uh I don’t know why I thought their old design was ever okay to bestow on human eyes!

So I knew immediately after finishing my Loser design I wanted Winner to be the opposite of Loser. Which ment no warm colors, no vest sleeveless thing, no sunglasses, esc. I wanted them to be 80s inspired to match my Loser’s 70s Inspiration! I wanted them to parallel Loser by being so different but the same at the same time. So I wanted to do alot.

I think very clearly with the first ever winner draft (on the right) I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING LOL. I really don’t like it now looking back and it really doesn’t feel like Winner to me. I think just to show how old this is, this was before I even made established age headcanons so I also had no idea how older I wanted Winner to be.

That age headcanon list will probably be shown at another time, I think I showed it once on instagram after somebody asked.

The one on the left I did right after I finished my Loser design and oh my god I also really hate it looking back. I had this idea that Winner’s hair could be the opposite of Loser’s hair where instead of being from like brown to blond and lighter blond it would be the opposite and oh it looked horrible to me.😭

I think also at this point Winner was still just black and not biracial

Now here are what I would call my “Stuck in design hell”. Characters I struggle with immensely when creating a design I think fits/I personally also like for them. It doesn’t mean I have no ideas, some of them I know exactly what I want to do with them but can’t figure out how to emulate it. I ended up abandoning Winner for awhile because they were giving me so many problems because I set so many restrictions for myself which weren’t exactly working.

So then we got this.. I tried to force myself to finalize their design on the spot… bad idea.. worse idea I could ever fathom. I don’t like any of these designs and plus the way I draw now has changed since I made these designs. I had an idea that Winner’s arm could also be translated as one of those super cool arm grabber toys from the 80s which I don’t know, maybe I’ll bring back?? Depends on how I feel about it after focusing on writing more Winner central stories and exploring Winner more as a character and talking to people who really like Winner.

I should also note the inspo for Winner in the fluffy coat and overalls came from the fact that when I was in the movie theater, I saw a kid wearing black overalls and periwinkle jacket and went “HOLY SHIT WINNER TPOT.”

Somewhat unrelated but in this design Winner also became Biracial because @/exitstudent was like “Oh Winner feels afro-Latino to me” so I changed my headcanon almost immediately. This is why I probably shouldn’t have put my race hc chart out so early because my opinions get swayed so easily PLUS I changed a few things around. (Nothing to major, Snowball and Spongey are Wasian now, Donut is Dutch, put Bomby back in Blasian, Gaty is Finnish)

I also had the idea that instead of Winner having highlights (because I highly doubt Winner would go out of their way to highlight their hair) their greying really early on due to stress and poor genetics probably. Another cool parallel to Loser about how Loser’s hair is something he essentially paid for Winner in a way earned theirs. Loser also bleaching pretty much all their hair would also be a cool symbolism for how he’s not the truest to himself while Winner’s still having almost all their natural hair color is symbolism for them being way more true to themself. But that’s for another day to explore.

I tried to interpret Winner’s shape as being kind of like fuzzy fleece on their jacket and I tried to make this work so bad but I really shouldn’t have. I was just all over the place with the colors too.

After design a bunch of the other characters and finding and discovering new ways i like drawing i quickly figured out why I was hating Winner so badly.

It was everything 😭

So after actually after researching 80s fashion instead of half assing it to make it obvious. I drew up these two concepts.

My first realization was “Wow that fleece is ugly as shit.” So I realized I had to stop trying making the fleece work, kudos to anyone who can. But away from the negatives, I really did love the big black Jacket and the legwarmers (I am a sucker for leg warmers so once I put them in them, it was over for me) Something about the headband also struck me because previously I out a strict “no head accessories rule” but honestly? It really just had to be not sunglasses so the headband stayed.

With some color rework and some help from my qpp (Shout out to her, she doesn’t use social media.) We were finally able to get the current design shown!

I guess if I learned anything from this, people should make gijinkas also based off people they know and see in day to day life. Some of my favorite gijinkas are based off people I know. Like Match being an Afro-Chilean Jew is because my friend who actually introduced me to BFDI was a huge match fan, and an Afro-Chilean Jew so I was inspired to make Match look almost identical to them. With Winner I pulled inspiration from alot of popular Black celebrities in the 80s and Chile again because of said friend 80s.
