As it turns out, the clone theory was right. I had actually been on the side of s3 Shiro being the OG Shiro, but irregardless I will still stick up for clone!Shiro who is not evil, just mind-controlled

The creators of this show must have really liked the second Captain America movie. Looks like removing the arm removes the corruption. And Keith gets his cheek stripe he had in that one preview picture.
