#Couldnt leave needed to vent#Like.....I am STILL upset by JatP cancellation#sure at netflix but much more at the fallout I came into as a fan who found the show post cancellation#maybe it's because this is the first fandom I have actively been part of#(but I have been on the outskirts of manu fandoms through friends and family)#and I HAVE NEVER seen so many fans of their own show declare their fandom dead and dying#especially not when people were still CREATING FAN WORKS FOR SAID SHOW!!#like wtf!?#thats part of why it took me a month or two to finally start actually writing for JatP#like sure writw for yourself or whatever#but why would I WANT to create for people who look at the creations they have and continued to get and declare there isnt a fandom there?#honestly if it wasn't for the corner of the fandom I stumbled onto I probably wouldn't have bothered#I still occasionally see the why is my fandom dead pista and the please reblog my art/writing posts#and they coorelate because you know fucking what#THATS why your fandom struggled#THATS why it feels so much smaller now.#because you declared it dead and you stoppwd interacting with it in a meaningful way#Which for a fandom is as good as killing it yourself
