Tbh thrifting would be a lot more fun if skinny ppl weren't already insentivised to buy and throw away clothes willy nilly
Bc i promisse that there is not a single piece of clothing that will fit me at a thrift shop
Everything stops at a size xl if im lucky. Mostly it's all size small or medium.
#Ive been in the sewing community and lurking for the past year and like#Its all skinny ppl telling other skinny ppl how to make clothes smaller#Meanwhile i had to ship clothes from accross the globe to even have oants my size at all#And no i dont mean pants i got from my aunt when she got tited of them#I mean like actual young adult pants that wont make me look like im the mother of four boys#And even That is a privilege#Ik ppl who cant find pants At All#So like#Mmm#Im just annoyed tbh#Like while skinny ppl get to feel good abt themselves and how they now thrift their clothes#I still havent bought more than maybe five pairs if pants my entire life#Most pants were my aunts#So#Muffin rambles#Salt#Personal#There is one store in tiwn that sells plus size clothing but it's all clothes made for hippie women in their 50s#Or its men's clothing and i have to tailor it Anyway#Mostly i go thrifting fir cheap fabric so i can sew my own clothes#I just hate the i have no other option
