Planning a fic (next part of Silver Linings) and started brainstorming Lieder… I thought it would be nice to find a song cycle in four parts for the four chapters, but I doubted I could find a fitting cycle. So instead I looked up pieces on a certain THEME to see if I recognized any composers and thought I’d start there… and I immediately found a tenor cantata that is FOUR PARTS on the exact theme I wanted?????? Holy shit??

#I’m blown away. shit is crazy HAHHA #THIS PIECE IS. AGONIZINGLY BEAUTIFUL #the indecision.. the reminiscence…. the mourning……. the grass THE GRASS AUGHH #you’ll understand soon #😏 when I finish this first chapter #or maybe I should wait until I finish all four idk #nah #I am impatient 😇#and they’re all like ~5k or less so it shouldn’t be a long wait #………🤞#chalcy stuff #I should probs start tagging my Silver Linings posts so people can filter them out hmm
