Everyone thank @lesbianchianti for tagging me in a post about vampire moths today. Not only was it cool as fuck but their scientific name just became the title for my lesbian shinobu character study, and comparing her to a “vampire moth” works so well in general, but specifically with the lesbian context of this one-shot and how Shinobu thinks about herself and her sexuality? Yeah. Yeah. We’re thriving

#tbh it always shocks me how little insect imagery ppl ACTUALLY use with shinobu #like I see the other Hashira compared to their titles/breathing styles A LOT in a lot of methaphorical ways #but not really a whole lot with shinobu and insects?????#wild because there is A LOT to do there #but anyways like I said all kinds of vampire moth and shinobu comparisons are being made #I should also warn this whole one-shot is gonna be really angsty and canon compliant so. uh. yeah #kaz rambles
