My hot take is that the whole 'all character designs in all art styles for anything ever NEED to have super distinctive stylized silhouettes and catchy design colors or they arent good designs' is exactly why we the Hazbin and associated properties character designs are. Like That (tm).

#I say this not with hate toward HH but abject neutrality mind you #I DO say this with hate at the character design advice that you need to exaggerate and caricatureize every drawn character design ever tho #regardless of if the style you clearly want to work in has room for that #and colorcode your characters and make their designs tell everything about them at a glance and and and NO the rules are bad!#no reblogging to prevent annoying wank #if its not onceler its CLAMP but the noodle proportions Do Not go with the hyper-stylizing.
