WIP Whenever

@skyrim-forever and @elavoria tagged me for WIP Wednesday and... I've not got any fandom stuff to show.

However, after realizing how expensive even crappy Halloween decor is over here, I decided to bust out the hot glue gun and do A Thing.

It's easy to tell I'm not a crafty person but well, it's surprisingly fun. Can't wait to actually finish the spiderweb 😁

Little Room Details

Heyo, I feel like I haven't done one of my usual posts in a LONG time. And though I've received so much positive feedback (regarding my video's), I kinda miss my written posts. Some of you have been very kind to say that you love my room and the decor. I thought I’d share a few things I picked up recently + some things I mean to spend more time with in the future. This is more of a chill post. I know that the editing is not cohesive throughout the pictures but I was just trying a bunch of new techniques, both in terms of photography and editing. Anyway, these are just a few random bits I wanted to talk about.

I posted this a few days ago on my Instagram under the caption : Jute and wood details 👌🏻. That’s what it basically is. I’m currently switching out a few things in my room to make it more ‘spring-y’. This is what I have placed on my headboard. The wood thing is actually an Easter Sign that I bought from TK Maxx for £3. Sadly I could not find a link for it. It said ‘happy easter’ so I painted over it and stuck a leaf on it. The jute twine is from the ‘faux flower’ section in Hobby Craft. Here’s a tip : if you want to display your books in an aesthetically pleasing manner, either arrange stacks according to colour and then height or turn them around so that its the pages that you’re seeing. That way you can make a bunch of random books blend.

When I first saw my little corner in the room, I knew I wouldn't fit a normal sized chair there. So the first thought was to create a mini version of what I had in mind previously. Instead of picking up a desk and an office chair, I picked a coffee table and a chair from the children's section (which is pretty sturdy and perfect for me). Since all my furniture is short, it makes the room look spacious and I absolutely adore this CHAIR!

I recently picked this up from Anthropologie. I didn't even know that they had stores here in the UK. I remember the first time I went to an Anthropologie store in the states, I feel in love. To realise that they have stores here in the UK, I was so happy. I do have to say though, the price tag on some of their stuff is absolutely ridiculous. But I’d still go there for inspiration. Btw, did you know that the same people own Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters ? 

Nothing much to say here, just wanna learn more songs and maybe SOMEDAY I’ll be able to sing. XD

There is a little back story to this one. While browsing the Anthropologie store, I came across something that looked like this and was £24. gah. are you kidding me anthropologie? I really wanted it but it really wasn't worth the price tag. Luckily, I found the one you can see in the pictures in M&S and only for £7.50. Yaaaas. I was so happy. Now, for everyone who’s like...wtf..what do you need that for? Let me tell you, it is absolutely perfect for watering succulents and cactuses and to make my beauty blender wet. Other than that, I also use it to clean, make my hair damp, annoy people. .. .. .. . . O.O
