It's an old story but I'm so active in the community I learned about it only now. And I didn't knew I need to say this, but it turns out that some people wasn't taught basic rules of behavior by their parents. And specifically "ask before you take someone's toys". I'm okay when people use parts of my meshes for their cc if they tell me they will use them before I see the end product somewhere on the internet. You know, the courtessy of it all. But I really don't like it when someone improves my cc. And by "improves" I mean makes a dress shorter, sleeves less puffier, and so on. And then puts this fixed item for download. You want to do it - please, do it for your personal use. Do I need to explain how displeased an autor can be when his project, that took quite a time to make and that was made with a particular desigh in mind, was improved like that? Not fixed in means of some perfomance issues but changed on a minimum aesthetic level. If it's hard to understand try to imagine it's not a stupid Sims 4 little pixel dress but a painting, or a sculpture or a crochet project. And someone improved it by cutting out part of it or adding couple strokes.

For me, making cc for this game is a form of creativity, and these improvements are killing all my joy from the process, as well as my desire to make cc. Because I sit here and think 'what will be improved next time' and 'am I here creating material for someone to improve'. I know I don't put leg long T.O.U in my cc posts. But it's just me believing in humanity and not me saying "yeah, do whatever you want, I'll be fine with everything".
