So I'm in a very specific discord about a fanfic of bg3 and I just was wondering if you were also in it because it seems like your type of thing but also maybe not aaaaa

I'm in a handful of BG3 related servers but none of them are about one fic in particular. A couple of them have chat rooms for writing and things like that, which I enjoy lurking in, but I don't contribute in those since I can't write T-T I just share art sometimes and hype other people's when I see it

Giving Thanks

Now, I've seen my friends and their posts and replying. I wanted to make my own because I know that this one is going to be pretty long. At least, I have an idea that it's going to be pretty long. I won't be able to tag everyone, seeing as I don't know everyone's tumblrs and such like that. There's also going to be some not tags because I'd be too scared to actually tag these people.

I'm so very very thankful for everyone who's come into my life in the last year. I'm thankful to those who've been in my life for several years. My bestest sibs who won't likely see this for the many years that I've been with them, since first grade, middle school, beginning of high school and everyone in between. Those who I call family (not blood related), because you, and everyone I'm about to mention, have helped me in so many ways. As well as just because I'm so happy to have met you. Even if this is just for a season, long or short, I'm so glad to have made the friends and family that I've come across. Who've just been chill, or been there for us.

Thank you @imaginethat0327 for being an inspiration and being the person who helped me step out of my scared and anxious lil bubble I'd created around myself. You're such a lovely person, and I really look forward to our talks, no matter how long apart they are from the last one. But I do wanna express how much this game means to me personally-

Honestly, I don’t even remember what drew me into ctm, lol- I just remembered the series from some old play throughs and thought to give it a watch but- something about the game just made my brain want more of it-

So- I watched more playthroughs and comic dubs and animation memes, (even vine comps too-) I just- loved it- and from there it’s led me a lot of places-

Thsc was how I joined discord and met some of my best friends and some of greatest people I know! All my mutuals are really creative and nice- idk what I’d be doing without @emperorcandy or @rubianarosevine or @toxsradioactivelocks and ESPECIALLY without @randomgasleak because Leaky is one of the bestest, nicest friends I have- and I would seriously miss out on every fun lil conversation and infodump we have with eachother, getting to share my ocs with him is some of the most FUN I’ve had in my life- and i am seriously thankful to EVRYONE in Tox’s server for just- existing lol-

Also no I didn’t forget about- @kean-thebean or @savagepotat or @cybercypress24 or @lynplaque or stormy love yall too-))

Thsc led to me learning about more lgbtq+ identities that I didn’t even know of- in fact it helped me figure out my own identity and realise I was AroAce! So thanks for that-!

Thsc also helped and inspired me to improve my art!!!! Seeing the talent in this fandom made me wanna improve and develop an art style I truly love to draw with- and well- I did it!!!! I finally have an art style I LOVE to use and which actually looks good!!!! I can finally draw necks!!!! And no that was not something I could do before thsc- hm, funny because sticks don’t have necks technically so who would’ve thought-???

Continuing on from that, thsc is directly responsible for the creation of some of my FAVOURITE ocs!!!! Ollie, mitzy, mavy, Kapper, Tulip etc. heck- even ocs that while they ain’t sticcs or direct thsc ocs were INSPIRED by and influenced BY the game!!! (Lookin at you, Opal and Angus-) I especially have to gush about Ollie because I just LOVE him so much- who would’ve thought a BACKGROUND oc for a rp would become one of my main ocs today-? Not me that’s for sure-, I especially didn’t expect that I’d cry over how invested I am in him lol- I just love my lil gae sticc so much!!!!! He’s brought me so much joy, he’s helped me to vent out my problems- I just- I just- LOVE Ollie- lol- and I’m sure I’ll continue to do so even in future-

Thsc also introduced me to Dave panpa’s existence so everything is 100% worth it. I would die for this man, I want to platonically hug him and him and Rupert kiss kiss, I should know- I am the loaf of bread on their countertop!

And I guess last of all- I wouldn’t be on tumblr if it wasn’t for thsc. Thsc gave me the confidence to branch out and actually start using over websites aside from YouTube- it’s also how I joined discord and as I’ve said meet all my closest friends- sure- tumblr hasn’t always been the best at times but- I enjoy being here and while yes I’m not the most popular person here or even of note to some people- I’m still here right-? And I gotta thank thsc for that-

So the past.... Month. Has been very eventful. Coping with a rough break up, work being hard. I'm almost 21 I kinda figured it'd be rough being in my 20s. I really was expecting it to be the end of the world, but then I made a really good choice.

I joined a few discord servers over this month, and I can't begin to explain just how wonderful that's been for my mental health.

I've made so many new beautiful friends who just mean the world to me, and those new friends along with old friends and my beautiful angel wife who's stuck with me while we both heal, it's just nice.

I wanna say a few words [or a lot words. I'm a yapper] and I jus wanna really detail my appreciation for the following people.

You've been such an amazing support system through these past couple years and I don't tell you enough just how much I love and appreciate everything you do for me. As for the "plot" and other things... (this got so long I am so sorryy;;;)

Well at first I wanted to do kinda a normal ebg, no plot or anything bc I don't think I have the smarts to do an elaborate game/story lmao and I kinda wanted to have more established s/i lore?? And then I realized hey I can use the ebg to introduce my s/i!!!

See I'd been working SO hard on her names lately, researching and studying in-game adepti lore and stuff and I though why don't I make it a simple game where the goal is to guess her name (with me giving hints ofc) and at the very start I had the idea of her losing her memories so she could re-discover/remember things about herself alongside the "players" learning them. Whoever character I got as my bias would help her and get to know her too along the way, even npcs (or in the rare case of me getting Dottore/Pantalone, probs be the villain for her memory loss lmao)

And then I got Kazuha. And it was so SO perfect. I took inspiration from Spirited Away with the plot point of having your name/memories/identity stolen and for some reason I remembered the whole Ino-shika-cho koi-koi card combo from Summer Wars I just had this vivid mental image of a scene where Kazuha dropped the biggest hint by writing the Kanji for Butterfly (Chō) which doubles ofc as the Hanzi for Butterfly/Crystalfly (Dié) written the same pronounced (and romanized) differently :3c

I did not end up making haiku bc they are complicated but I at least tried to loosely keep/emulate the 3 phrases, phonetic rhyme and sensory elements while referencing my lil plot lmao

✧˖Originally I was gonna blame it on a playful tanuki or smth but I don't think they're powerful enough youkai lmao it was probably a kitsune.... we may never know ✧˖She was technically never in any danger yeah but imagine being lost with no memories and no way to know if you could get them back even because every person she met kept telling her they didn't know ofc she'd break down, or at least me, I'm very crybaby and neurotic sometimes//HIT ✧˖Yes this entire thing was technically Zhongli's fault since he did write her a letter addressed 亲爱的晶蝶 ("My dear Crystalfly/Jingdie") and that IS her name woops on a random note I kinda imagine he also signs with something like 你的龙 "Your Dragon" and vice versa with Crys ("My dear Dragon/your Crystalfly") sgcvgajsvcjhacbajkca //squeals kicks feets

And all this started because I was stressing over the fact that "Crys" is not an appropriate name for a Liyue character lmao, I debated for so long giving her a chinese name, but I didn't want to further make her an OC I wanted her to represent me/my blog (also part of me was and still is immensely worried I somehow insult cn ppl by being as some sort of weeabo equivalent or that I am "appropriating culture" or idk I may be dumb but I try to do my research and I prommy it does not come from a place of malice or anything I genuinely love genshin and Li and it's got me interested in a culture/country I funnily enough have somehow interacted with and have friends in but never really paid that much attention to ig...) and then I just had the epiphany What if I just reverse engineer and name her Crystalfly in cn? Lore would be that either her name got accidentally translated in documents a long long time ago and ppl started calling ehr Crystalfly/Crys and she rolled with it or she simply adopted the translation/nickname as her name for international settings, keeping her true name more private (hidden in plain sight tbh) p sure the only ones who know are the elder adepti (Ganyu/Xiao included) and Neuvillette (once he told her his real/first name) (ironically Crys may be harder to pronounce i other languages lmaoooo rip Fontaine)

Hi there! It’s me your secret lil skeleton! I have some minor questions about your Sun and Moon.

You mentioned them having a mark on them that changes colors depending on their emotions, now I’m assuming you’re referring to the bright white patch on their face? You didn’t really specify if it was or maybe I’m just blind and you did.

Second question what colors could their marking change to and what emotion makes it those colors? Cuz if I drew them like really excited or being scared I wanna know what colors I should use.

Final question for now, could you possibly describe their personality? In the discord server you mentioned that they “cause silly chaos all around” but that doesn’t really describe much for me. Like which one is more likely to cause problems, what kind of shenanigans would they get up too, what’re they like when away from each other, stuff like that. I like knowing a character’s personality before I draw them so I could try to capture it in my drawings.

I hope none of my questions come off as dumb but for now I’ll be awaiting your answers, can’t wait to get started drawing :)

Oh, Elloo!

Yes their white patches change color, sorry for not specifying!(⁠๑⁠•⁠﹏⁠•⁠)

Each color is a neon color since it's made to kinda stand out, it is a light. When they feel multiple emotions at once, depending on the intensity their lights flashes between each color since only one is supposed to be shown at once

lemme list down the colors correlating with each emotion for you rq:

•red-angry

•orange-confusion/surprise

•yellow-happyness

•green-disgusted

•blue-sad

•purple-scared

•white-neutral

For the last one, moon is definitely causing these shinanigans and drags sun into them. Though sun can do the same, it's mostly moon who does it. Also they don't think it's fair to go off people's fears for pranks as it could be a traumatic thing or just really severe! They usually just misplace things, draw on people's faces when they're asleep, mostly kid like pranks really! Unless they really don't like someone they aren't too evil with pranks:]

The only time it's not displaying color is when they're shut off!^^(grey)

Moon is all for going with shinanigans anyone has to offer!(As long as it doesn't cause actual cause for concern) Moon is usually in his neutral state since he tends to zone out a lot, but besides neutral, he's in his happy state all around! Although when he's without sun he does get a bit more snippy at others. But he still is able to act accordingly without him. He isn't much for verbal communication though, he usually likes writing or drawing what he's thinking since bluntly saying things without thinking is impolite. So he just people watches when he's doing nothing

Sun is more nervous about pranks, he always asks if it's really okay and they won't get in trouble for anything when dragged in for pranks. He has trouble trusting people that aren't moon or chica, he's kinda scared of the others actually. He may be kind of a scary cat but that won't stop him on calling out peoples bs or sharing his opinion, cause of this moon usually tells him on what he should speak out about when moon doesn't want to. Without moon around sun would probably just stand in a corner people watching or doing crafts to keep himself busy. He isn't much on relaxing and when he's focused on something moon has to keep watch over him to make sure he is getting charge when needed.

That's so exciting! I just got mine a few days ago~ I'm so happy to hear that you like my piece! I was really nervous about it because it was kinda spoofy compared to the others. It's pretty silly even by my normal standards hehe As far as my digital work goes, Sideswipe has been given so much love lately. It's great that his "pretty boi" status has been recognized. I purposefully designed him to look more friendly and open, so if he's making you think soft domestic things then I have done my job correctly hehe. On the subject of Sunstreaker's art habits, I think all artists make vent pieces at some point, writers and other creative mediums too (I know I do). So Sunny does probably have some pieces squirreled away here and there, I agree. I'm glad you're having fun on the JazzProwl server, and hope you get through whatever requires your attention now.

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS : Technically...August 2011. All of my experience is on Tumblr (though i did a bit of twit rp before it gave me anxiety and i yeeted it into the sun), but I first started out on anon and met a few really nice people (i've been...extremely lucky online, i know this; thank you to most of my past and all of the current people i know). Though I have recently joined a discord rp server made by a couple friends, and that also has been a blast; and I've done it on/off with a couple others as well.

BEST EXPERIENCE : ...It's kind of hard to pick a "best" experience, only because I have genuinely had so many amazing times on here. When my friend gbf server was a bunch of muns talking and rping and having fun; and the ptn server after that; and now this hsr rp server has been an absolute joy that I'm so glad to be a part of. There have been a couple months each year when somehow I just laugh so much and get so giddy and have the best time of my life. There's lil jokes and reaction images I still remember making; pinned messages I lovingly can't live down; connections I've made that I cherish so much. Again, I wanna say that I've been so lucky to have mostly been surrounded by such good people, and for making all my places online a joy to be in! Without you all, who knows where we'd all be now, you know!

RP PET PEEVE : I'm like..........Really bad at thinking of these now gfhgfhgfxjfhghf I guess not necessarily a pet peeve, but when I hear from friends of people in the rpc that do?? Harrass / harm people?? Like what is that for???????? It's the thought of "what compels a person to be so mean??" and it makes me a lil anxious and boils me like a lobster, especially when it's stuff directed at people I care about. When it just continues for forever too; when it's just hateful stuff, the block button is there for a reason and I have no problem using it; they should just use it and stop wasting their own time on any of these things.

PLOTS OR MEMES : I'm always willing to do both, but memes are v versatile..........Sending random stuff through asks that pops into my head is also fun too; but I only do that with like Wars / Charlie / Serin. The Besties (tm).

Right everyone, Hello people! This is a long post so buckle up!

You all know or at least have heard the basic idea when it comes to this little project/initiative within the server which was kinda inspired by what missmonsters used to do on her discord server as well as just Jo…just a constant inspiration.  As of right now, this is a project initiative thing that is starting up/being held on my Discord Server and hopefully maybe sometime in the future it'll be posted/work somehow through Tumblr

This is a fun initiative for writers both experienced and inexperienced to take part in! We all know writing can be very fucking tedious at times…so why not add prompts into that mix? That always has the chance of being quite ridiculous and crazy! That’s all part of the fun, right?

As of right now the plan going forward is there will be prompt drops a few times a month there isn’t a set schedule for this initiative like it is all subject to change and adapt if people feel like they’re getting too many prompts or maybe even possibly not enough prompts! In addition to that the only time there should some sort of schedule is if someone or multiple people who is participating want to start a prompt challenge with one person or a group of people it is in those circumstances there is a deadline aka a schedule. 

Now I imagine the prompts on some occasions are probably gonna be wild, crazy, ridiculous and whatever else you can possibly think of. With that it is in my head that maybe once a month at least at some stage throughout this lil project there will be prompts…ideas?....inspirations? Given out…picked? For people taking part in this and what I mean by that is I do like the idea of fics being inspired by movies, books, TV Shows literally any medium you can think of. I do think it would just be a really fun and cool experience for people and seeing the progress of it all. 

One thing I do wanna make clear is there is no one set person running this thing, I didn’t wanna risk the chance of ruining the fun and spontaneity of this lil project by just assigning one person to be in charge. Unless there is like a big announcement or like as I mentioned before the assigning of prompts for fics such as a movie, TV shows, books etc, it is all between the group of people taking part which I’m hoping will be a nicer experience and rules won’t be needed. Though if it is needed I feel like you all know by now you can contact me or one of the mods and we’ll get whatever it is under control. 

I think that’s everything…..besides well okay the tumblr blog @runawayswrite that is going to be used for reblogging the fics that were created and written using the prompts discussed in that channel. The tags that will more than likely be used for that blog/submissions will probably be #RunawaysWrite and #RunawayPrompts. Now I’m also including #RunawayPrompts because I’m thinking depending on how the prompts go I will also post them to Tumblr for the vast amount of writers on this hellsite, just for an added thing for fun even if it was just random followers adding a silly lil thing to this whole initiative that I thought would be nice and fun especially if they didn’t have Discord or straight up didn’t wanna join.

hello hi there, so as i’ve already said i’m anastasia and it’s so nice to meet u ! if u read this far, i already love u. lemme tell u more about myself.

number 1 ; i’m 23 years old as i already said and because of that, i would prefer if people i write with are around the same age as well ! i will write with 18+ but i will not write smut with someone who is under 21, so please know that if you want to write with me. i feel more comfortable writing with people who are closer to my age because i remember being 13-16 years old on this app writing smut with people who were 19-21 (before it was well known that it was actually against the law!! i promise i wasn’t lying to people about my age to get them to write with me) and looking back on it now i realize just how creepy that was !! i just ask that you’re honest with me and respect this boundary.

number 2 ; like i said in the last rule, i do write smut ! however, i would prefer if we waited until later in our writing process to start writing detailed smut. i’ve had bad experiences with people who immediately jumped into writing detailed smut and only wanted to focus on the smut in comparison to character development and because of that, i really just want to wait until i’m comfortable with you to do that ! 

number 3 ; i’m the first to admit that i am not the fastest replier. as you may have noticed, i mentioned in the lil introduction above that i’ve just recently started to have muse to write again, and i can’t promise that it’s going to be super super consistent ! all i ask is that you have patience with me. i work four days a week right now so i’m not super busy with work but when i do work sometimes i’m working 10+ hour days, which does burn me out, and i’m on medication for bipolar disorder which sometimes sends me down into a slight depressive state, in which sometimes it’s hard for me to even open my phone. pls pls pls be patient with me. 

number 4 ; i used to be willing to write males in m/f plots but nowadays, because that was taken advantage of in the past, i’ll only write males in mumus. in 1x1s, i would prefer to write f or nb nowadays !

number 5 ; i don’t really believe in banned fcs? the only fcs i won’t use are deceased fcs/underage fcs/fcs who have asked not to be used. personally, i only really use fcs as people i picture in my head while i’m writing because i barely even really use gifs, and also i don’t really see how a problematic fc could benefit from the use of their gifs in a private discord server. i’ll definitely let you know if there’s someone who i’m uncomfortable with but for the most part, i don’t mind!

number 6 ; i refuse to write anything in relation to inc*st, b*astiality, or p*dophilia, point blank, period. i don’t see how any story could progress from this, not even as a backstory. i will not write r*pe scenes or scenes with detailed descriptions of s*icide, self h*rm, or an e*ting disorder. of course, it can be mentioned in backstories but i will not go into detail.

number 7 ; i actually prefer writing mumus. i’m not really a fan of doing 1x1s completely anymore as i love developing characters, world building, and relationships that don’t just stay within the boundaries of romantic love. i love friendships and familial love and enemies and just somewhat acquaintances. give me all of it.

number 8 ; i promise i’m literate, you probably can’t tell based off of this post but when it comes to writing, i try my hardest to be as grammatically correct as possible. i’m definitely not perfect but i try ! however, i hate capitalization. don’t know why, i just do. that being said, i love writing long form, i feel like once replies get down to one or two sentences, the para needs to end and we need to move on. also, i’m a screenwriter, i see everything in the form of movies, so please forgive me if a lot of me ending paras seems like the ending of a movie scene? you’ll see what i mean when we get there, it’s kinda annoying and i hate myself for it.

number 9 ; just because i don’t always have the muse to write doesn’t mean that i don’t have the muse to plot ! please, send me ur headcanons and things that come to ur mind, i love reading it !

number 10 ; i only write on discord. i hate tumblr’s platform nowadays, it’s just the best platform to try finding people to write with, to be honest.

number 11 ; i almost forgot to include this but please know that i reserve the right to be selective with who i write with. i do look at the pages of people who like my posts or message me and see if i think we would work well together .. that sounds very weird but i don’t want to plot something out with someone just to find out that we don’t work well together or blend well together, nor are we friends. i love being friends with the people i write with! with the pandemic, i haven’t been able to see a lot of my friends, i work with a lot of older people, i think i’m the second or third youngest at my job and it’s lonely because i can’t really make friends there. because of that, i crave the friendships that we build when writing together. gimme allllll of that. 

so that’s my rules! sorry that they’re a bit long winded, sometimes i feel that i need to over explain myself. if u made it this far, ur an angel. read on for plots that i love and am interested in.

number 1 ; gimme some zombies. i looove zombie apocalypse / survival plots, particularly based on the walking dead ! 

number 2 ; i had a post about a post-post-apocalyptic world where you’re meeting all of the survivors in the afterlife that did pretty well, and. i would LOVE to do that!

number 3 ; a celeb mumu !!!! all ocs, gimme the actors and actresses and singers and musicians, gimme the athletes (maybe even obscure ones, like maybe some professional wrestlers from a wwe-inspired company? that could be fun !! ) ; gimme the directors and film producers and music producers and managers ; gimme the taylor swift-inspired squads and the insta influencers, the up and comers, the child stars that haven’t done anything in three-four years but still have beautiful porcelain mansions and keep getting contacted about doing a reunion of the show they were on at sixteen, gimme shows w/ original plots and movies w/ original plots and tours w/ a big time main act and a tiny new opening act and all the drama and co-stars falling in love and .

number 4 ; slice of life !! gilmore girls inspired where there’s seasons changing and maybe school events and fall festivals, christmas tree lightings, proms, christmas carolers, a cute little town with a gazebo in the center and a town mayor and it’s a very small town where everyone knows each other and it’s literally just a legitimate slice of life !! 

number 5 ; maybe criminal minds inspired ? i have a whole ass character in mind for this so i would LOVE it pls .
