Jensen: No, I got ordained and they actually sent me, like, a priest shirt with a collar. Like the [gestures at neck] - I didn't wear that. But yeah, no, you can get ordained online, it's the Church of Life or something in case any of you would like to become ordained?

Jared: Anybody wanna get married today? We got a guy.

Jensen: That's right, [holds up hand] I've got a certificate.

Jensen: No, that was a one and done for me.

Omg yes, Dial Tone. And along with that, the phone sex one with Lee. "Damn you never listen do you Y/n! I told you that I had reserved us tickets to a game and you're not even ready. We have to leave in 10 minutes, get off the stupid game. Now."  I sighed looking up at my boyfriend. Turning my head back to my monitor and focused back on my game.  "Hello, do you hear me? Or are you talking to your other boyfriend that weird Japanese kid? You know-"

"Kenma."

"What?"

"His name is Kenma. You know that. Also, I'm not ready because I'm not going." I stated not looking away from the screen. "We always go out to where you wanna go. I do the things you like but the one time I ask to go somewhere you immediately deny it because you're not interested in it. Therefore, Dillion, I'm not going."  He stared at you in confusion. It took him a moment to process but then the light went off in his head.

"Are you talking about that Comic Market thing? Babe, one, that's in Japan-" I pause my game and mute my discord because little did he know Kenma was on with me building away at his cottage in Minecraft while listening to us two bicker.

"My mother already said it was okay she wanted to go as well so she could see the sights. It's summer so we it's not like I have to be back in time for school. This is the only big thing that I have ever asked from you and you dont even have to pay for it. I've saved up enough. I've planed where we can stay, where we can eat, everything. So, I'm going to tell you this. You're either in or out because I'm going whether you like it or not." I was now face to face with him standing my ground. I had been planning this for months, worked an exhausting amount of hours, done tons of research for this trip. I planned to stay for about a week and meet my best friend Kenma Kozume by surprising him at his volleyball practice then, taking him to the comic market. To be honest I didn't want Dillion to come anyway. For some unknown reason, he hates Kenmas guts, maybe just because it's another guy. I have to admit we do talk a lot but I've never put Kenma before him. I try to be the best girlfriend and be present in our relationship but I've had enough. Dillion grabs my torso and pulls me in.

"Look I'll go to the lame ComicCon thing with you when it's in America where we live. I don't see why we have to spend so much to go to this we are only 16 we need to be saving up for our futures. I'm out Y/n." I sighed into his chest knowing this was coming.

"Of course you are... Usually, by now I would give in and agree with you but not this time. I'm going."

"Fine whatever. Then I'll be waiting for you when you get back." he pats my head. I was honestly surprised that he didn't fight back. I kiss him and run to put on an outfit. "What are you doing?"

"We still have five minutes, I'm getting ready!" I yell from my bathroom. I grabbed some sweats and a t-shirt and threw them on, groomed my h/l h/c hair, and walked back out.

"Hey, Kenma I have to go. Date night."

"Okay let me know when you get back I need to talk to you about something." his voice sounded tired which would make sense we had been playing for 3 hours non-stop. I turn off my computer and walk out with Dillion.

I stayed on the game a couple more hours decorating the outside of the cottages me and y/n had built. She saw it on TikTok and thought it was cute but didn't know that it would take this long. His voice lingered in my head "Do you even listen to me y/n!". Of course, she does idiot she loves you. When they started arguing I knew it was gonna end up a mess again. It's like this every couple of weeks. They fight and argue and she always ends up leaving our game. Seems like it's only when she's on with me... Doesn't matter what matters is that she doesn't deserve to be treated like a possession. She does whatever he wants without much fight. It breaks my heart when she comes back on the server. She always sounds tired and down but she still talks to me even if it's for a short time.

"Hey, Kenma wanna come practice with me?" Kuroo's voice brought me out of my thoughts I hadn't noticed I was smiling while thinking about her until my black-haired friend started teasing me about it. "Ooo you're smiling. What's going on?"

"Nothing just playing games."

"With your girlfriend I presume. HEY Y/N!!" he yelled into my mic which was right next to my ear.

"She's not on right now. Also, I told you she's not my girlfriend she has someone." I look down at my phone screen that read '1:30 pm' she should be home by now and getting ready for bed. "Sorry Kuroo I'll come out later I need to talk to Y/n," I say getting into my bed patiently waiting for her call.

"Fine dude but remember I'm actually here. You've never even met her yet you're obsessed," he smirks and walks out of my room. Almost as if on cue my phone rings I pick it up and hear Y/ns sleepy voice.

"Hey Kenma how is your morning?" Of course, she asks that first, she's so sweet.

"It's been good. I added some flowers around the cottage and made a farm for us. How was your date?" she took a few seconds to respond.

"It was fine. We went to a basketball game which I'm not completely into and it was really loud. I had to sit in the bathroom because I had a panic attack. Other than that it was fine."

I've been planing on asking her this for a couple of weeks I just needed a good way to ask so that way it didn't sound like I was trying to "hit on her"? I dont know.

"Oh um yeah okay so..." I read over my note and finally compose myself. "...I was wondering if you wanted to come to Japan to watch my team play in our tournaments and possibly go to nationals?" I mumble out. As I said that out loud I realized it sounded like I was asking her to move here. She's on summer break right now though so just maybe.

I muted myself and squealed. This is perfect. Other than when school starts this fall perfectly with me meeting him AND I'll get to stay in japan longer to watch him play. I unmute myself and quickly responded.

"Duh I would love too but you know we would have to a very detailed plan that out then get our parents on board and I would have to do something about school. Plus, I don't know how Dillion would react to me moving to another continent to watch another boy play a sport would go." I hear Kenma dramatically sigh.

"He's such an ass to you though. You guys fight all the time and you always give in to what he wants. I'm saying this because I'm your best friend. Break. Up. With. Him." I fall back on my pillows and look at the picture of me and Dillion on my nightstand.

"I know we fight a lot but he always makes up for it. I love him Kenma. I do admit that I come crying to you a lot about him and I'm sorry I shouldn't annoy you with that. He's a good guy I promise." there was a long silence and let out a yawn. "Well I should be going to bed now its like midnight here and I have to work in the morning. Bye Kenma have a good day."

"Goodnight y/n sleep well." the line cuts out, I plug in my phone and snuggle back into my sheets.

Oh just you wait Kenma I'll be in Japan sooner than you think.

Who is your favorite character in 2? 

Carl Wheezer!!! My boy!!! Most people either love or hate Carl and Sheen but they were the best part of the show for me. I like how he’s kinda the nerdy trope but actually not (he’s really dumb). The voice acting for him is A+, the gags with him are my FAVORITE (“that’s not mine...” “that’s not me”). God I love him

who is your least favorite character in 1? 

Oh god there’s so many characters in Pokémon. I didn’t really like Paul much. He’s a good character/rival and serves his purpose in the show but uh yeah didn’t really like him.

what is your favorite episode of 4? 

THERE’S TOO MANY GOOD SU EPISODES!! The one I go to the most though is Rose’s Scabbard. Such a beautifully sad episode where we learn about Pearl’s relationship with Rose. Plus UGH the music at the end makes me cry every time.

what is your favorite season of 5? 

Season 4 for SURE. Season 4 is when I jumped into MLP (yeah after the alicorn stuff). That felt like peak MLP to me. They hit their stride with the writing, the characters were well established but there were new challenges they had to face with Twilight being a princess and all (plus it was before the started catering more to their male audience). It’s also just very nostalgic for me being that it was the first season I kinda watched while being in the fandom.

who is your favorite couple in 3? 

Ooof hmm. TAWoG doesn’t reaaaally focus on ships all that much. I thoroughly enjoy Gumball and Penny’s relationship, and Carrie and Darwin are cute as hell. But I think I gotta Go with Nicole and Richard, especially after watching “The Choices”. I hate when shows portray marriages as awful and like the worst possible scenario. They make jokes about it but Nicole and Richard genuinely care for each other. I always think about the part in “The Fury” when Nicole is sad but Richard cheers her up in his own goofy way. So cute ;0;

what is your favorite episode of 1? 

I,,, have watched,,, Pokemon XY63 so many times you would not believe.  It’s a Jessie episode (obviously). Seeing her fall for this doctor and do a complete 180 in character was so funny but also gives insight into how desperately she just wants domesticity and to be loved. Seeing James and Meowth be supportive of her choice and letting her go hurts so gooood and the little sprinkled in “twerps offering to help jessie plan her wedding” was wholesome. 

I know I can only pick one but HHHHHH SAYONARA DOKUCALE MESSED ME UP. It was one of the first Pokémon episodes I had ever seen and I distinctly remember watching it in my Uncle and Aunt’s living room and SOBBING. Jessie backstory, a twerp truce AND a bitter sweet ending. GOOD STUUUUFFF

what is your favorite episode of 5? 

I always come back to Rarity Takes Manehattan (rarity’s my favorite fyi haha). I love love loved the songs, Suri Polomare for no reason is so funny to me LMAOOO. Rarity episodes where she has a creative breakdown, which is most of them, are super relatable haha. There was so much fun Tabitha St Germain acting and great animation. It’s not the most well written episode of MLP but I still very much enjoy it.

what is your favorite season of 2? 

This is really difficult bc Jimmy Neutron is just so consistent all the way through. I looked at a list of episodes and most of my favorites are in S2 so I guess that one! I remember watching a lot of these with my brother.

how long have you watched 1?

I’d seen episodes of Pokémon since like the early 2000s but didn’t start watching regularly until DP when me and my brother finally convinced our parents to let us watch it. I feel like we got into it around 2007/2008?

how did you become interested in 3? 

Oh god everything about it interested me! Gumball came out RIGHT when I was starting to seriously pursue animation as a career. So, the animation/mishmash of animation styles initially hooked me right away. But then the WRITING. Oh the WRITING is what kept me coming back. It was so smart and snappy and it greatly shaped my sense of humor.

who is your favorite actor in 4? 

SUSAN EGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!! Literally the whole cast is incredible but Susan Egan’s voice is just,,,, WHEW!!!

which do you prefer: 1, 2, or 5?

This is the hardest question I’ve ever had to answer. I love each of these shows for such different reasons. But if I were put in a scenario where someone said “i’m gonna show you a random episode from one of these shows, which do you wanna watch?” I would pick Jimmy Neutron hands down.

if you could be anyone from 4, who would it be? 

I would be Sapphire I think. Just like vibing w my wife as a fusion sounds p dope.

would a crossover between 3 and 4 work? 

Well 4 did a crossover with Uncle Grandpa so yes absolutely. Plus Gumball is so meta anyways, it would work with generally anything.

overall, which show has the best storyline: 3 or 5?

MLP for sure! Gumball is super episodic and started having continuity by the later seasons (and the storyline they were gonna have got CANCELLED so!!!!)

Jimmy Neutron is a classic but the fact that there is a full theme for SU and it made me cry when it was released at ComicCon is making me want to say SU lol.

I’m finally catching up on Arrow and I have a couple thoughts to share:

Mia and William are like my favorite sibling combo ever

I cried when William finally got the chance to come out to his dad like he had always wanted to

I think after seeing the past for so long in flashbacks it’s really cool to be able to see the future because I have to admit it had gotten to a point where the flashbacks were enough I didn’t really care anymore, but the flashes to the future were a nice change of pace for the show it was fresh

I especially liked when the kids traveled back to our present I found it very interesting and fun

I liked the parallel timing wise how Dig saved Connor in his time right before future Connor traveled back and he met him that way we saw more of where they started and where they were for future Connor

I love seeing the similarities between Mia and Oliver together in person!!

I cannot say this enough I love William so much adult William is one of my favorite characters in the whole series he is such a nice change of pace and is a happy medium between fun and serious whereas most of the other characters are usually one or the other (usually deadly serious)

I just got to the part about Roy on the island before Crisis and OH MY GOD

Also WHAT IS GOING ON WITH LYLA (again I haven’t finished Crisis or the season yet this is just a first impression of what happened before and on the island)

Another thing: I am SO PROUD OF THEA

Also why did they have to do me dirty by hurting my boy Tommy again in the beginning of the season just leave the boy alone

Also I am very very sad about Zoe like Mia, Connor, and William didn’t even get a chance to mourn her. We saw Mia and William cry a little, but beside that it was kinda it (like I said still haven’t finished it, but I feel like there should have been more initial pain and shock anyway)

I really liked how they brought back old faces from Oliver’s beginning on the island

I’m really glad Laurel got to say goodbye and make peace with losing Quintin

Finally I just wanna say I cannot believe I only have crisis, 2 episodes, and then it’s over it’s done and that is so crazy because I’ve been with this show since season 1 I started watching it in 6th grade because John Barrowman was my favorite actor then when I turned 13 I went to NY ComicCon and met Stephen Amell (who was SUPER NICE BTW) I actually met John at Montreal ComicCon (he was also incredibly nice) the following year and now I’m almost 19 and just finished my first year of college so this show has been a big part of my life for a very long time and it’ll be so strange to see it end

Present Mic’s speaker: a shitty tutorial

So this bitch finally finished her Present Mic cosplay for London ComicCon next weekend!! I thought I’d make a tutorial post for the speaker system- it’s a rough guide, and includes the mistakes I made so you don’t make the same!

Read below for the full tutorial! 

STAGE ONE: Plan 

So the first thing i did was that i purchased all the required components. I used foam for this- I couldn’t find any craft foam near me so i bought a foam/roll up camping matt for like £3.99 which was a massive bargain and seriously did the job. Here’s a list of what I used.

Foam

Silver spray paint

Glue/lacquer for making it shine/metallic (I used Mod Podge)

a neck rest- the type you’d have on a plane. I got mine for £1 at Poundland. (Dollar store for my American friends!)

Super glue (the kind that works with fabric!)

Paper and pencil

Ruler

Scissors. A good ol’ big pair, not nail scissors. 

gold and silver marker pens

A mask, or just something to cover your mouth when you’re spray painting 

Optional (It does make life easier to use):

Cutting knife

Cutting mat

Screws- if you have any hanging around the house in a random drawer. In my case i had lots left over from the studs I used on the jacket. It just makes it look more real!

Once purchased, I started out by taking some A3 paper and doing a rough outline of the neck rest. See the end of this tutorial to see the mistakes I made and how I could have improved this part. I made the width of the top section slightly slimmer than the actual neck rest, because I didn’t want foam to be stabbing me chin. That defeats the point of the neck rest, which is to help with the comfort of this bastard as well as being able to clip it on at the back.

I ended up with three pieces of paper. The top, the little square at the front, and the side panel (which is the same for both sides, so I just cut one template.) 

I didn’t make a bottom to the speaker, ‘cause no one’s going to see that bit anyway. No point. 

Stage 2: Cut the foam using the paper templates

In case you’re wondering why I’ve blocked out bits, it’s because I put down paper underneath to stop it from gluing to the table- the paper came from an underwear brochure and I didn’t want tumblr nuking me for the half naked ladies sajkdlajgkd

ANYWAY So I used the templates to draw an outline and cut the foam. It’s... not actually easy to cut this foam with scissors OR a proper craft cutting knife. It leaves little messy bits. But it turned out alright I think. You guys might be tidier than me. 

I then superglued the shit out of it, sticking the panels together as you can see. I glued the side panel to the bottom of the top one, rather than the side. (If that makes sense). It ended up so that the edge of the foam shows on the side rather than the top. Choice is yours. But if you do it that way, remember that you’re adding about an inch to the height of the speaker. If you stick it the other way, you add to the width on the front. 

Shit it’s hard to explain this lmao

So with this supergluing, the glue dries QUICKLY so try and be sharpish. Hold it in place for about 30 seconds and you have yourself a winner.

Step 3: add the details

So i added the details here, trying to emulate the speaker bits on the side- they’re actually concave in Mic’s costume in the show, rather than poking out- but i wouldn’t even attempt to scoop out foam. It would be so messy. So I improvised.

The reason the front looks messy is because I accidentally glued the square and the circle on the front the wrong way around. i could have left it, I’m sure, but I’m a fussy bitch so i tore them off and swapped them, gluing them down again. To be fair, if you make mistakes like that, you can fill in the tears/holes with the lacquer glue at the end to smooth out. 

Step 4: spray that shit

IMPORTANT- DO THIS OUTSIDE. You want ventilation so you don’t nuke your apartment with fumes, your flatmates and landlord won’t like you if you do. I did this in a carpark with people staring at my nerdy ass

I used silver spray paint from Poundland- actually, car spray paint. I thought, hey, I’m making a metal speaker- sounds ideal. 

I didn’t use a mask here, but i covered my nose and mouth with a scarf and I’m not dead. Definitely cover your face with something when doing this, though. This stuff is really horrible.

Leave it to dry for as long as you can- It was windy outside which made this whole process HILARIOUS I was chasing after it now and then as it flew away, determined to find freedom. But I let it dry in my basement because I’m lucky enough to have one. I’d recommend your bathroom, otherwise.

I then finished off by adding little gold bits- just to make some of it stand out. Do what you like with this, but I just added it round the edge of the side speakers, drew some of the mesh on the front speaker- a cross-hatch effect- and whatever I thought needed it, really. You can tell I’m not a perfectionist 

I also added some of the screws at this point- just. stuck ‘em right in here and there.

Step 5: Glaze it like a cake baby

If you wanna make that shit shiny like metal- and importantly NOT SMELL LIKE SHIT, because spray paint smells so bad holy fuck- you need to seal it in.

Everyone online recommended Mod Podge Gloss-lustre-lustre and it was amazing. I got the pot of it which required a paintbrush. You can get a spray version too, which I think I should have done to be honest. It would have left a much more even finish without streak marks.

It takes a while to dry, so wait a few hours at least before doing the next layer. Keep on layering that shit till it shines, I did 4 I think.

Step uhhhhh 6: stick on the neck rest

YOU’RE SO CLOSE MATE! All you need to do is add the neck rest. I superglued which works a treat. As you can see, I’ve got a safety pin there, so i can pin it at the back and it’ll stay around my neck, all comfy like.

Problem is, as you’ll see below, this is when i realised that it’s TOO BIG to fit under my jacket and it poked out all unattractively. 

Final step 7: trim and amend

I amended by cutting off the pokey-out bits at the back, and just. made it fit better and tuck in more. Essentially, I should have drawn my paper plan to the shape of the neck rest when it was pinned, like below. I used the trimmings to cut down, amend and stick to the speaker system. 

Then I tried it on again, and it fit like a glove!

Below is the finished product- i hope you guys think it looks as good as I think it does, I’m SUPER PROUD of myself. I also hope you manage to learn something from this, including my mistakes!

What are three muses you wish you had the courage/ability to write but probably never will? Since I switched to my multi, there aren’t many that I won’t pick up for those reasons. More are just because I am already inundated with muses that don’t see much action, and the ones I want to add are all either (essentially) dead fandoms or just muses that I couldn’t see myself doing a whole lot with. But to answer the question? Rachel Green (F.R.I.E.N.D.S.), Lexie Grey (Grey’s Anatomy), Wanda Maximoff (MCU). (Okay the last one is a little me worried about not doing her justice. That and I’m sure she’s everywhere right now. And the MCU doesn’t need one more.)

If you have any pets, tells me all about them. I wanna know everything. Malibu is the oldest. She’s a white and tan lab mix (we think mixed with and english bulldog?) She turned 10 last christmas.
