Hello! I don't know whether matchups are open and if not you can delete this request. But...
Can you please give me a MW2 matchup? 🙂
Pronouns: she/her
Sexuality: straight
MBTI: ENTJ-A
Zodiac Sign: Cancer
Appearance: 5'7', Slim thick, dark brown eyes (looks black tbh), Curly black medium length hair, fair skinned, wears glasses (cuz I can't see shit without them)
About Me: I'm Indian and I come from a conservative family, and so my upbringing was a bit weird and made me into a weird mess. I would consider myself an introvert. But definitely not someone who sits in a corner of a room and stares. I do enjoy having conversations with people, but my social battery is low and so I get tired pretty quickly. But if I'm speaking to someone who I am really interested in, like my longtime best friend, I would talk for HOURS!!!. When it comes to friendships, I'm a very selective person. I'm not someone who gets close with people as it's very hard for me to open up, as I'm quite reserved. I also don't get along with a lot of people so 🤷🏻. Also, people have pointed out that I look unapproachable and Intimidating as I have a resting bitch face. I maybe having the best time of my life but my face does not show it, at all 💀. Or sometimes, I get really stoic and people can't tell whether I'm sad, happy, or angry lol.
I'm a level headed person, but sometimes people get on my nerves and I'm the type to bottle all of those emotions. Then when a minor inconvenience happens, BOOM! I will literally turn into a demon and my whole day just got ruined.
I'm someone who really cares about my loved ones. I will protect them from anything and I will help them out in any way I can. I'm a good listener and love to empathise with people who are hurt or would let people rant so they can feel better. I'm the therapist and the mom friend of my friends group so.... Yeah, I care about the ones I love wayyy too much. My love language is acts of service, words of affirmation and gift giving. Also, as much as I love giving love and care to others, I hate receiving it as I have mentioned before, have a hard time opening up. It takes a lot of trust and a lot of time for me to do so. So basically I give therapy to others meanwhile my mental health is blown to shit.
When it comes to work, I'm very organised and hard working. I don't like procrastination as it drives me nuts (Even though I still do it sometimes, idk why). I'm logical, focused and very passionate on the things I love. My favourite subjects are Math and Physics as I do fairly well in them. I'm not the best but I work hard and it pays off. That's why I'm opting for Aerospace Engineering in college. I take my work very seriously and definately not the type to fuck around.
Outdoors, I come off very cold and serious, but indoors I am very goofy, silly, pretty stubborn and bossy (sometimes stupid). I love doing small pranks and doing weird things that crosses my mind. I'm very loud and laugh at the stupidest things that I see or hear. Also love to play around with my pet cats. I'm a huge geek/nerd and love to talk about my hyper-fixations. Also, I'm a huge animal person and I love to feed strays and sometimes, I take them home with me. 😄
I'm very loyal but I can cut ties with people who have done me wrong. 100% has no problem in confronting people. I also suffer from ADHD, PTSD and mild depression. I also have stims where I bite the inside of my cheek or fidget my fingers or shake my legs.
Likes/Interests/hobbies: video games, reading books, writing, drawing, cooking, baking, watching murder documentaries, taking care of animals, horror, sci fi and action movies, tea, spicy food, rain, gardening, math, science, literature, history, travelling, listening to music.
My type in a partner:
Should be very passionate
Hard working, wise, mature and adventurous
Someone whom I can banter with and make me feel secure
Can be extroverted, introverted or ambiverted.
Can be on the playful side.
Alejandro Vargas (a/n @queenof-spades WE LOVE WOMEN IN STEM!! also girl I relate so hard to the conservative parents who push you to be the best :') good luck with all your studies!)
How you met: A trip to an aerospace engineering company was not on Alejandro's bucket list for the year. Especially after the last contracted company they dealt with (he's still getting his base in order after the fiasco of Graves and the Shadows). However, another joint mission with the 141 required a preview of some new satellites and other multimillion dollar technologies. After going through rigorous amounts of security, him and Rudy finally met up with the 141. "Nice to see you again, hermanos," he said as he shook hands with his British counterparts. They were making small conversation when you walked in. Your shoes echoed in the facility and a long lab coat hung around your shoulders. "Gentleman, welcome to Boeing. I'm the lead scientist here and you can follow me on a tour of the facilities," you said confidently and quickly turned to lead them through the expansive company. As you introduced them to the team of engineers and showed them the technologies of your newest satellites, they stood in awe. "This satellite is equipped with the best monitoring technologies and can withstand the temperatures of exiting and entering the atmosphere," you described as you jokingly pounded on the hard metal shell of the satellite. "She does not fuck around," you heard Alejandro whisper and the group laughed in response. "That's right Colonel Vargas, there's a reason I'm working here at Boeing and worked my ass off for a doctorate," you smirked at him. As you continued on, the blush was evident on his face as he felt like he was struck by cupid's arrow.
A peek into your relationship: It was no denying your relationship with Alejandro was difficult. Between his position as Colonel and yours as the head scientist at Boeing, you both wracked up thousands of miles on business flights. However you made it work and were now comfortably settled in a comfortable south western mansion that offered you excellent wifi for meetings. You signed off from a consulting meeting with a new company that wanted to contract your planes and sighed as you shut your laptop. The last few days you were on edge and your husband took notice as you declined his offer for wine and gently pushed your food around. "Mi corazon, what's going on?" he asked as he got up from the table and kissed your head gently. "Just work things," you sighed as you melted into his touch. "You love work through, there's something else going on," he said and carried you to the couch, "you even turned down a glass of our favorite wine." As he studied your face intently, you asked him a surprising question. "Ale, do you love me?" you asked. It took him 0.2 seconds to respond. "Are you joking? Of course I love you, you are my moon and stars. You are like if the heavens sent me a goddess to walk on earth. You are Persephone, Aphrodite, and Athena all rolled into one," he exclaimed as he peppered you with kisses. You smiled slightly and nervously held his hands. "I, um didn't know how to say this but I'm pregnant," you said quickly and looked at his face for any sign of anger or disappointment. You had kept this from him so long as you didn't want it to affect his opinion on your work and traveling so often. You weren't about to be confined to a house wife position after all this time. Instead of a negative reaction, he scooped you up in his arms and spun you around. He held you stomach as he kissed it gently and whispered, "my own child, you're going to have the best parents." As he pulled you in a tight hug and kissed you softly, he was already designing plans for their nursery and how to encompass everything you both loved into it. (Just know that this child will be absolutely spoiled by you too, especially if Ale became a girl dad HAHA)

do you guys want my art notes? well i'm posting it anyway. its for my benefit only. explaining things that you are learning is a good way to improve and solidify what you have learned. behold.
first off the main thing i am focusing on is understanding 3d space and shapes. perspective baby. alot of us put this off because we just wnana draw characters but tbh we should really, really put alot of effort into learning it because seeing what you draw as 3d forms and shapes is what's gonna make your art actually look good.
so i draw cubes. so many cubes. all the cubes. i become the cubes
Tumblr media
for a while my warm ups have always been circles or spheres. sometimes i stack the spheres ontop of each other (the miss 'ems) but i think this wasn't as helpful because i was drawing circles and not so much practicing or understanding the space. so cubes are better.
i was doing really well with the vertical and horizontal cubes. i got into a groove, understood the shapes. diagonal though.... that's where i fell off. I realized I need to do alot more studies. Might find myself a Cube irl.
Tumblr media
next is line art. i think i have decent line art but it could be better and less frustrating. Aiming to improve my control with the pressure + putting more thought into the line weight. also not zooming in when i draw.
mogoon's course and psd files showed me that like most 'clean line art' is not that clean when you zoom in. which makes sense. spend less time stressing details that aren't visible and focus more on making the shape be Shaped.
the rest is anatomy, obviously. something i suck at (don't we all). Decided that i will spend a week on a specific subject, this week has been Legs. although I've strayed from a bit because I get stuck on commissions and fixate too much on making them perfect. but it's mostly been legs.
i refuse to learn the names to these muscles n bones. stupid long ass words im dyslexic 🙄 just knowing what it is and how it moves is good enough for me. most important things i've noted and improved on with legs so far is the muscle in the upper thigh that connects to the pelvis to give it that Cool Line that i see and. And how legs are curved and the bones near the feet are Angled, with the highest point being inwards.
i said i suck at anatomy but actually i might not, i think the reason why my bodies look off is simply the lack of form it has. which is why the first study is so important, once i get better at drawing 3d shapes i think my anatomy will improve immensely.
no images for that, i dont want people to see my notes and use it as reference when it might be wildly inaccurate and bad.

"Weirdly Specific Artist Ask Game" but i got tagged in it so i am gonna answer all of them 'cause theyre fun
questions by @/i-like-eyes
thanks for the tag @king-chook!! ^^
1. Art programs you have but don't use
i thiiink i have a license for clip studio paint that came with my old wacom tablet but i never rly used it. also used to have krita installed for the longest time but just always felt off to me idk why. don't currently have it installed anymore tho
2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)
to their right is a bit easier i think. not smth i consciously notice, mostly i'm just thinking abt when im doodling on the margins of stuff they usually are looking to the left of the page
3. What ideas come from when you were little
uhhh idk tbh, i dont think much of my art draws from that
4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw
cityscapes !!! i love cities they r so pretty and cool looking but goddamn theyre so hard to draw
5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself
80-20? i post everything that i finish. basically the only stuff that doesnt get posted is sketches i give up on
6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it)
hmmmm not that i can think of rn...
7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate
watercolour !! i've tried it a few times and Struggled but i love seeing ppl's work in it
8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in
so many animatics ..................... also many comic ideas ..................... i get so many ideas that i just never start on or start and only do a little before losing the hyperfocus/fixation and just Cannot continue them. it sucks
9. What are your file name conventions
usually the character name, maybe a bit of description of what theyre doing... idk not much of a convention to it
10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw
hmm i like jackets :)
11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what
yes, usually music. sometimes random youtube videos like stream highlights or video essays.
12. Easiest part of body to draw
uhhh hair? maybe idk. hard question bc it varied a lot depending on what kinda style and just. sometimes smth is hard in a particular drawing then easy later idk
13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing
i cant think of anything i will edit it in if i think of anyone
14. Any favorite motifs
in my drawings i dont feel like i use any much. mostly i pull motifs from whatever im doing fanart of lol. in music, i like religious motifs (but not like. ones abt christ or bible stories, rather heaven, hell, god/divinity, angels)
15. *Where* do you draw (don't drop your ip address this just means do you doodle at a park or smth)
at home pretty much exclusively. in bed lol
16. Something you are good at but don't really have fun doing
idk i feel like the stuff im better at is the stuff i like bc i practice it more for fun lol
17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what
not usually
18. An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken
surprisingly little. mostly bc i do more digital art lol
19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)
weapons and nature. especially ice for nature
20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy
i cant think of anything ill add it if i do
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways
i love rougher styles, like ones with a lot of visible brushstrokes and bold lines and shit. so cool. idk how to make it look good lol i dont have the confidence in my lines for it
22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any
none... probably i should change that
23. Do you use different layer modes
yeah, often i use a multiple layer for shading then a variety to colour adjust at the end
24. Do your references include stock images
sometimes
25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by
cant think of any
26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended
there was this poem i wrote about capitalism and how shit it is and someone thought it was abt interpersonal relationships/smth along the lines of a breakup. i rly didnt mind it tho i thought it was cool bc the emotion was not far off, the sense of betrayal and abandonment. just a very very different subject
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with
no lol
28. Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines)
i ran a zine (digital only) for the dimension 20 zine jam! and also made art+writing for others in that :D also was part of a polygon yt fanzine a while back
29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically
spider-man (not the MCU, mostly tasm and a few of the comics)
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
IS IT BAD TO SAY A PIECE THAT GOT QUITE A BIT OF POSITIVE ATTENTION ?? maybe
i rly like the cj comic i did i am genuinely so goddamn happy with the result so . even tho it did very well by the standards for the fandom its for and my current follower base it is underrated
alternatively this one https://www.tumblr.com/pathos-p/704380503765221377/tridential-sovereignty?source=share bc it didnt get all that much attention on any social media site but i think its cool !!
(mostly only using recent ones bc i dont wanna dig back further esp onto my old twt acct, too much work lol)

I put down a project I was writing a while back, and I wanna pick it back up but I don't feel that I'm as immersed in the world as I was and I don't know where to restart. Do you have any tips?
Shit due to mobile’s updated layout I had no idea I had asks and only just now figured out how to find themUhh idk? The way I work is…not very proactive unless I get really fixated on a project. I’ll reread my WIPs (many. God there’s so many) and sometimes I’ll get the urge to work on it more (or, completely rewrite it because I like the idea and the plot but /hate the writing and the dialogue and everything else/ *looks directly at a certain wip* and other times other times it doesn’t spark me but will later. I am a big fan of letting shit incubate in the back of my mind, even if that means almost every little thing that happens irl around me reminds me of bits I want to include or give me random inspiration for where I want it to go. (Of course I do this for several fics at once, some of them not even mine I just fixate on shit I read, because I cannot pull my head entirely out of fiction. Shoutout to fanfic as a coping mechanism, tbh)Also I write…….most fic on my phone. When I say most I mean basically all of it, save my nuzlocke and this one other thing that I need to rewrite half of it anyway. I just use the Pages app and autocorrect is a blessing and a curse and apparently I’m really, oddly fast at typing on a phone, and I mostly write while in bed. So. Before sleep (I’ve literally dreamed things further ahead in my fic than I’ve actually planned, it was weird but super helpful thanks brain), when I wake up but don’t wanna leave my bed bc That Depression, etc. Big fan of staying in bed. If I wasn’t so preoccupied with this one thing that people are cheerleading me to actually finish, then I would force myself to think about my Pokémon red storylocke and /finally/ get going on that. I have like the first chapter completely outlined in my brain and going much further than that, detail wise, is too much before I actually get shit typed out. Also, at least for my nuzlocke, not nearly as much for any other stories, I find it helps to incubate ideas to just draw your characters. Scenes you have in mind, especially ones that you have planned but don’t know how to get to yet because it forces you to think about “well damn how did he get up this mountain?” “If she fought that other thing just a bit ago, then should she really be fighting here?” “How is my character feeling during this scene?” It really helped me figure out my character’s motives and feelings for the bit in my nuzlocke where my first mon dies and my protag kind of falls apart a lot and makes bad decisions. Then again, I’m that kind of person who just immerses themselves in their creative works, be it writing or drawing. Like shoutout to that one time I said “I’ll just do a sketch” and then seven straight hours later realized the sun has set and it is decidedly no longer a sketch lol. Or fake dating fic. Four days on my phone while massively disassociating= 25k of fic, somehow. It really can’t be healthy to do that too much but whatever it’s like a daydream but you control it (mostly). Tldr; I say reread what you have, send it to a friend so they can cheerlead you/help bounce ideas around which helps so much with keeping that momentum, force yourself to think about it while doing other things. What first interested you enough to write it? What are you exploring? Sometimes I’ll see people in public that remind me of my characters/the characters I’m stealing for fic purposes and just watch them and imagine what that character would be thinking in that situation, what they’re feeling where they’re going etc. …it’s probably kind of creepy to peoplewatch that way, now that I think about it >.>(;Idk if I, Terra “finished to wip ration of about 1:15 and about ten AUs at any given time” of Kaleran, am the best person to ask, but I hope I helped anyway? Falling back in love with an idea is hard and I feel you and also motivation is a fickle thing and sometimes you really gotta fight it if you’re determined to get something done (unlike me with my Spanish homework…). U can do it! Do the write!
