Fucksgiving 2k24: Growing Family
You and Joel try to patch things up with your father while starting a family of your own. A Thanksgiving oneshot in the Stranger in a Bar universe.
^This is how I pictured this Joel as I was writing, with his lil tie on. Sorry not sorry.
Pairing: DBF!Joel x Female Reader (from Stranger in a Bar)
Length: 3.8k
CW: BREEDING KINK. Unprotected P in V for obvious reasons. Planning for pregnancy. Age gap (Joel is 20 years older, reader is 35 and Joel is 55.) Reader's dad is kind of a dick. No outbreak AU. Can be read as a stand alone fic with the understanding that Joel was reader's dad's bestie and he and reader are living together after dating years prior. No use of Y/N, minors DNI 18+ only.
A/N: Here's something to read while you navigate your own Thanksgiving dinner situations which are, hopefully, less awkward than this one. Happy Thanksgiving!!
“I mean it,” you said, clutching the casserole dish of mashed potatoes tightly to your stomach. “Best. Behavior.”
“When am I ever not on my best behavior?” Joel asked, his hand on the small of your back possessively.
You stopped in the middle of the drive on the mercifully long walk to your parents’ front door to stare at him, incredulous.
“When are you?” You asked, brows raised. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you behave yourself, not once, especially not where my dad is involved…”
“Alright,” he chuckled good naturedly. “I’ll do my best.”
“You’d better,” you said. “He’s just coming around to this, OK? I’d rather not blow it.”
“I know, baby,” he said, kissing your temple. “I’ll be good. Promise.”
“Thank you,” you said, continuing up to the front door.
“Your dad needs to behave too, though,” Joel said, sticking close to you. “Because I’m not gonna just let him say the same shit he always does, I don’t care.”
“Please try,” you said, ringing the doorbell. “If you do, I’ll make it worth your while.”
“Really?” He asked, his voice husky. “Dyin’ to know what you mean by that.”
“I mean,” you said, keeping your voice low. “Given how much I want to fuck your brains out, I’m pretty sure I’m ovulating and I can think of all kinds of ways you can try to knock me up - hey Mom!”
“Hey, honey!” Your mom opened the door and pulled you in for a hug. You just caught Joel’s expression out of the corner of your eye, his mouth slightly agape as he stared at you. “Oh, it’s so good to see you.”
“It’s good to see you, too,” you gave her a squeeze, carefully angling the casserole dish away from her before stepping back. “We come bearing potatoes.”
“So you do!” She said, taking the dish before turning to your boyfriend and taking a deep breath. “Joel. Always good to see you.”
You looked to Joel and saw him collect himself for half a second before smiling to your mom.
“Good to see you, too,” he said. “Been a while.”
“Yeah,” she smiled a little bigger and reached out to give his arm a squeeze. “It has.”
You gave Joel an encouraging smile as the two of you followed your mother into a kitchen that was overflowing with dishes.
“Can I help?” You asked, laughing a little as you looked around.
“Oh…” she sighed, looking around before she laughed, too. “Yes, yes please. Your father has been utterly useless, just wandering around, muttering to himself. Not that he’s the most helpful in the kitchen but he’s not completely incompetent…”
“He’s good on the grill,” you said. “Kitchen… eh.”
“Well, yes,” she giggled conspiratorially. “But I try to give him credit where it’s due. Usually I’m not on my own for a holiday but this year he’s been… something.”
You just hummed in agreement and started in on the green beans because you were pretty sure you knew the reason why your dad was acting strange and that reason was currently asking your mom how she wanted the cucumber cut for the salad.
Joel and your father had barely spoken in the six months since you’d moved back to Austin and gotten back together with Joel.
Not that you were too surprised about that. He was, after all, one of your dad’s closest friends and was much closer to his age than your own. You hadn’t exactly expected the news of your relationship to go over well but it had been even worse than you’d anticipated.
You’d arranged to talk to your parents in public when you decided to tell them. Neutral ground, as it were. Plus, you were pretty sure your father would be less likely to punch Joel in the face if you were in public.
It ended up not making much of a difference.
“You’re what!” Your father stood up so fast that his chair fell over, the sharp clatter of the wood on the tile restaurant floor and violence of his tone plunging the once bustling room into silence.
“Dad,” you said gently. “It’s not a big deal…”
“The hell it’s not!” He yelled, looking between the two of you. “When the fuck did this start, hm? When the hell did you start fucking my daughter!”
“Why don’t you sit down and…” Joel began, but your dad didn’t let him finish.
“Don’t you dare tell me what to do,” he put his finger inches from Joel’s face. “She is a child!”
“I’m 35!” You gaped at him. “Dad, you’re being ridiculous!”
“You’re already in hot water,” he snapped at you. “So keep your damn mouth shut while…”
“Don’t talk to her that way,” Joel said, standing up with too much force, his voice hot. “You got a problem with me, handle it with me, don’t take it out on her.”
“Don’t you tell me how to treat my own fucking kid!” Your dad yelled. “I’ll handle her however I damn well please!”
You weren’t sure who threw the first punch but it devolved quickly then, your mother pulling your father away while you dragged Joel back, both men bloody and panting for breath.
You kept your distance from your father after that. You talked to your mom regularly - she was smart enough to give up on trying to talk you out of your relationship quickly and, eventually, was even happy for you - but your father took some time.
After a while, he was willing to talk to you. Your mother must have given him strict rules - he didn’t try to talk you out of your relationship or question Joel’s integrity - but it was stiff and awkward.
Thanksgiving had been your mom’s idea. Joel was hesitant but - after you conspired with Sarah (you and Joel’s daughter becoming fast friends once you moved past the awkwardness of your closeness in age) so she would stay in Dallas to go to have dinner with her boyfriend’s family - he’d agreed eventually.
“If this don’t prove how much I love you, woman,” he’d grumbled as he tied his tie that morning.
“You? Love me?” You asked, adjusting the knot under his chin. “News to me…”
“Uh huh,” he smiled a little, just enough to make his cheek dimple.
“Never said it,” you had to fight to hold your smirk back. “Definitely not 20 times while you were inside me last night…”
“That don’t sound like me at all,” he teased back before going to kiss your cheek. “You look beautiful, baby.”
“Well, I do have a hot date.”
“Really? When’s he showing up?”
You glared at him and he laughed before giving you another kiss.
“Let’s go before I lose my damn nerve,” he said. “Gonna be the most awkward Thanksgiving ever.”
For a little while, there in the kitchen with just Joel and your mother, you almost forgot how awkward this was supposed to be.
You and Joel moved around each other in tandem now. You’d been living together for months and you’d fallen into sync so fast it was almost strange when you stopped to think about it. When you’d moved in with your ex, it took what felt like a small eternity to really understand the flow of his life, to subconsciously recognize where he was going in the kitchen when you were cooking side by side, to remember to consider him when making decisions big and small. With Joel, it was almost instantaneous. There had been no odd fumbling around each other as you went through your lives under one roof, no putting one brand of peanut butter back to pick up the one you suddenly remembered he preferred, no confusion or frustration when you came home from the office to find him not back yet. It all clicked, like you’d been built to do this alongside each other all along. Even in the unfamiliar space of your parents’ kitchen, his hand found the small of your back as he moved behind you to get a serving bowl and you just knew which knife to pass him from the block beside you when he went to reach for it.
Things shifted when your sister showed up about an hour and a half before dinner, her arrival finally coaxing your father out from wherever he’d been hiding since you and Joel had gotten there.
“Hey Dad,” you smiled at him after he finished greeting your sister and he stood, hovering awkwardly in the kitchen. “Good to see you.”
“Good to see you, too, princess,” he said pulling you in for a quick hug.
He turned his attention to Joel then, looking him up and down like he would an adversary.
“Joel,” he said, nodding once.
“Hey man,” Joel said, holding his hand out. Your father’s jaw twitched but he shook Joel’s hand all the same. “Good to see you.”
Your father just grunted before going to the fridge and getting out a beer. Joel followed him and you and your mother exchanged worried glances.
“Think the Cowboys are gonna pull out a win this year?” Joel asked.
Your dad held his beer for a moment, looking like he was considering just not responding but then seemed to think better of it.
“We’ll see,” he said. “With their record, I’d settle for not getting our asses handed to us.”
Things were easier after that. Your father and Joel disappeared to the living room and you heard the telltale sounds of football follow immediately after.
“I still can’t believe you’re fucking Dad’s weirdly hot friend!” Your sister said, just quiet enough that your mother was out of earshot. “Or that you were for years, forever ago! Seriously, there are rules about holding back to your sister like that.”
“You don’t need to know everything I do, you know,” you said.
“No but I need to know everyone you do,” she said. You snorted. “So… you think it’s going to last?”
“Well, we’re trying for kids,” you said, putting the last of the shredded cheese on the mac and cheese. “So it’d better.”
“What!” She yelped.
“What?” Your mom ran over. “Everyone OK? Did you burn yourself?”
“We’re good,” you smiled. “Just catching up. Sister shit, you know.”
“Yeah,” your sister said. “Sister shit.”
Your mother went back to the other side of the kitchen and your sister mouthed oh my God at you and you fought the urge to laugh. Your dad might hate your boyfriend but at least you could count on your sister to be your sister.
Eventually, the rest of the family came over, too, and everyone settled around the overly full dining room table, Joel sitting beside you with a reassuring hand on your knee as he made small talk with one of your uncles.
Dinner went surprisingly well, at least until everyone was a few glasses of wine deep and your father decided to pick a fight.
“So, Joel,” he said, setting his wine glass down with a little too much force. “Not sure if I should thank you for getting my daughter to move back home or if I should blame you for her obsession with being a failed musician for a living.”
“Dad!” Your sister gaped at him. “What the fuck!”
“Language, please!” Your mother said.
“Just seems to be real clear to me now,” he said. “Doubt she’d be so stuck on playing that damn guitar all the time if it weren’t for your bad influence.”
“Bad influence?” You laughed. “Dad, I’m almost middle aged, I’m not some impressionable teenager. I love my work, I don’t consider myself to be a failure just because I do music therapy instead of being a rock star, I…”
“You could have actually done something with yourself, you know,” he cut you off. “Instead, you decided to drive your life into the ground with this man and some bullshit career path…”
“Watch it,” Joel said sharply. “Not gonna let you talk to her that way. You will treat her with respect or I will make you treat her with respect.”
“Respect?” Your dad asked, his eyebrows raised. “You’re gonna sit there, in my house, at my table and lecture me about respect when you decided to take up with my daughter?”
“Stop it!” You shoved your chair back, throwing your napkin on your gravy smeared plate. “Both of you! Dad, stop acting like your my keeper and that I don’t have any goddamn agency because you raised me! Joel, stop acting like I need you to defend my honor! Just… fucking stop it!”
“Baby,” Joel said but you ignored him, stalking off to the guest room at the back of your parents’ house, needing some space from everyone.
You let yourself cry for a minute, sitting on the edge of the bed and staring at an old family photo of you with your parents and sister, back when you were just 10 years old. Your hand drifted to your lower stomach. You weren’t pregnant yet - at least, not that you knew - but you couldn’t imagine your child doing anything that would make you as mad at them as your father seemed to be at you loving Joel.
There was a soft knock at the door and you wiped your eyes on the backs of your wrists.
“Yeah?”
“S’me,” Joel said quietly. “Can I come in?”
“Yeah,” you sniffed.
He came in, closing the door gently behind him before sitting next to you.
“You OK?” He asked after a moment.
“I will be,” you sniffed again.
“I’m sorry baby,” he said, reaching out and cupping your face, his thumb tracing the arch of your cheekbone. “Know I promised to be on my best behavior but… Look, him being a dick to me is fine, I can handle that. I just can’t watch him say that shit to you. But that don’t mean I should get… aggressive and…”
“It’s not your fault,” you said. “I’d do the same thing if I were you, I can’t really blame you for it. And I appreciate that you care about me…”
“I love you,” he smiled a little. “More than just about anything else. But that means I need to take care of you in the way you want me to, not just the way I want to do it.”
You smiled tightly before leaning in to kiss him. Joel kissed you back, gentle at first but, before long, something shifted, the kiss becoming hot and needy.
“Baby,” Joel said, his voice low. “Should… should probably get back out there…”
“They can wait,” you said, panting a little. “I want you.”
He groaned, nipping at your lower lip but still hesitating.
“Please, Joel,” you breathed, pressing yourself closer to him. “I need you. Let’s make a baby.”
“Fuck,” he said, his tone shifting, and then he was on you. His tongue plunged into your mouth as he lay you back on the bed.
He didn’t bother taking your panties off, just tucking them to the side and tugging the low v-neck of your sweater down to expose your cleavage.
“Christ, you’re so fuckin’ pretty,” he groaned, cupping your sex with one hand and tugging your breasts free of your bra with the other. He mouthed at your nipple, licking and sucking over your breasts as he ground his palm against your clit, one thick finger slipping inside your seam to your already dripping entrance. “Don’t deserve you, baby.”
“Yes you do,” you whispered. “You deserve the world.”
He just moaned in response, kissing you again, one large hand cupping your breast, his thumb brushing your nipple.
It wasn’t long before he shoved his pants and underwear down just enough to free his cock and he jerked himself a few times with the hand that had become coated in your wetness. He notched himself at your entrance, his head thick and large and swollen, and pressed inside, a moment of resistance before your channel stretched over him and he buried himself within you.
He pulled his lips from yours, his head falling to the bed over your shoulder as he panted for breath.
“Goddamn you feel good,” he said, voice tight and hot in your ear. You rolled your hips up against him, making him moan.
“Good,” you said. “Love making you feel good, sometimes that’s all I want to do.”
“Fuck, you think your daddy hates me now,” he said. “If he knew what you do to me he’d shoot me.”
He started to fuck into you then, keeping his chest pressed tight to yours while his cock worked you hard and fast inside, his head finding that soft and tender place within you that built your orgasm fast with every stroke. He ground his cock against you there, his hips on your clit, making every ounce of need inside yourself gather tight and low.
“Fuck, Joel,” you panted. “I’m gonna come, you’re gonna make me come, I…”
“Good,” he growled. “Come for me, come while I get you pregnant, c’mon baby and come all over me.”
You had to bury your face in his shoulder to keep quiet, your orgasm hitting you hard and fast, your center fluttering over his thick length as he held himself inside you.
“Oh you like hearin’ that, huh?” He asked, breathless, starting to move again, already building your next orgasm as he did. “Like hearing how I’m gonna put a baby in my baby, that it?”
“Yes,” you groaned, your second climax growing quickly. “Yes, please, please, please, please…”
“You don’t gotta beg for it baby,” he said, pulling back from you enough to look you in the eyes as he spoke. “I’ll give you everything, as many babies as you want, fuck, gonna give you my baby right now, gonna make you pregnant, fuck!”
He buried his face in your neck and pressed himself so deep inside you as he came, the heat of him spilling into you in thick, heavy pulses.
“Fuck,” he said after he finished, kissing your neck before pulling back from you to kiss your lips, too. “Didn’t mean to come that quick, wanted to get you off one more time first.”
“It’s OK,” you said, panting, even though it was kind of a lie. You’d been so close to coming again that you felt tight inside your skin, an energy rippling over you that you knew you wouldn’t be able to shake until you came again once you got home.
“No, it’s not,” he said, sitting up and slowly, carefully pulling his softening cock from you. “Got you all worked up, not taking care of you the way you deserve if I don’t finish the job.”
You felt some of his come slip out of you but he caught it with the tip of his cock, pressing it back inside before tucking himself away in his underwear and cupping your swollen, aching sex.
“I’ll take care of you,” he said quietly. “Take care of you the rest of my life.”
He worked your clit, slow and gentle circles at first before his touch grew firmer, drawing your orgasm back to the surface in the way that only Joel seemed to know how to do. You came to his touch, feeling his thick come inside you as you did, like your body was trying to pull him even deeper inside.
“There you go,” he said, his eyes locked on your dripping pussy. “Fuck, so pretty, every damn inch of you.”
You panted for breath, relaxing down into the bed before suddenly remembering that your entire family was down the hall.
“Fuck,” you sighed. “We should get back.”
“We should,” Joel said, tugging your panties back in place and helping you cover your chest again before chuckling. “Think your daddy really might shoot me if he found us like this.”
You laughed and sat up, looking at Joel for a moment. You trailed your fingers through his hair and he smiled a little, his eyes crinkling at the edges.
“Really not sure why you think I’m worth all this trouble,” he said. “But I sure am thankful I have you.”
You smiled back.
“I’m thankful for you, too.”
You kissed him and he helped make sure your hair and makeup didn’t look like you just got fucked within an inch of your life before you emerged, the party having moved to the living room, your mom and aunts on one side of the room, your dad and uncles on the other, an uncomfortable silence falling when the two of you walked in.
“Joel,” your dad said, getting up and walking over with a sigh. “Look… not sure I’ll ever really be OK with this but… my daughter could do worse than a man seems to adore her and is willing to stand up for her.”
“I do adore her,” Joel said. “I love her. I want to do everything I can for here as long as she’ll let me.”
Your dad nodded slowly.
“Think I can live with that,” he said. “But you hurt her? I will kill you.”
Joel laughed a little.
“I expect nothing less.”
Joel and your dad seemed a little more like the friends they’d started out as after that, laughing and talking and watching football. When the two of you left for home, your father and mother walked you out, containers of leftovers in hand.
“It was so good to see you both,” your mom smiled, giving you a squeeze. “We’ll have to do this again. Soon.”
“We will,” you kissed her cheek before turning to your dad. “It’ll be nice.”
“It will,” he said before looking to Joel and holding out his hand. “Welcome to the family.”
Joel smiled a little, taking his hand and shaking it.
“Thanks for letting me in it.”
You smiled the whole drive home, Joel’s hand on your knee.
“So,” he said, looking at you conspiratorially as he pulled into the drive way. “Think the family will be even bigger next Thanksgiving?”
“I sure hope so,” you smiled. “But I think we’ll have fun trying either way.”
“Think we should try again now?” He asked, taking your hand and kissing your knuckles. “Because, you know… if you’re ovulating, should probably do it again. Seems like the smart move.”
You laughed, already adding pregnancy tests to your mental shopping list.
“Well we can’t start out our lives as parents doing the dumb thing,” you said and he laughed before the two of you went inside to try again to grow your family.

This was the longest stretch you would ever be away from Nicholas, and every minute would seem to drag. But as you pulled away from the college campus, you turned back to reassure him, fighting the tears in your eyes.
“It’s just a few days, baby. You’ll see me soon,” you whispered softly, trying to ease the ache in his heart. “And if there’s anything—anything at all—hit my line.”
His voice was thick with emotion, but he nodded, a soft smile breaking through his sadness. "I’ll miss you so much."
The few hours apart felt unbearable, even though they weren’t even a full day. As soon as you arrived home, your phone buzzed with a message from Nicholas:
“I miss you already. I can’t stand being away from you. I just want to hold you.”
You smiled, typing out a quick reply: “I miss you too, baby. We’ll be back together before you know it.”
Thanksgiving morning came, and you woke up with a yawn, your phone ringing beside you before you even had the chance to fully roll out of bed, his name flashed across the screen. You smiled, picking up.
“Happy Thanksgiving to my incredible girlfriend,” Nicholas beamed over the phone, his voice warm and full of affection.
“Good morning, baby,” you whispered, your heart fluttering. “Happy Thanksgiving to you too.”
“I'm so thankful for you,” he said, his tone deepening. "You mean everything to me, I love you.”
The words hit you like a wave. It was the first time he'd said it though he had showed it in other ways, and the tears that threatened to well up in your eyes couldn’t be held back. “I love you too,” you said, voice cracking.
“I didn’t mean to make you cry, baby,” he cooed. “I’m just so glad I have you.”
You wiped at your eyes, trying to calm yourself. “It’s okay. I’m just so thankful for you too. You're the best boyfriend I could ever ask for.”
He chuckled softly. “I miss you so much, and Mom wishes you were here with us for Thanksgiving. I really want you to be a part of the family.”
“I promise, next time,” you said, wiping away your final tear. “Tell her we’ll make it happen.”
You both hung up after a few more heartfelt words, and as the day went on, you spent time with your family. But your thoughts often drifted to Nicholas. The love between you felt so deep, even with the miles separating you.
That night, you made sure to text him. “How’s Thanksgiving going, baby?”
His reply came quickly: “Great, but I have a bit of a problem, I’ll tell you about it later.”
Concerned, you quickly typed back: “Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, don’t worry. It’s nothing serious, just something I wanted to talk to you about later, when we’re alone.”
You smiled, having an idea of exactly what he meant.
After a while, when your family was settled and you were tucked into your childhood room, your phone buzzed. It was Nicholas, his voice lower than usual.
“Hey, baby,” he said, sounding a little—off.
“Hey, sweetheart. What’s the problem you were talking about? You’ve got me worried.”
He took a deep breath before speaking again. “Well—uh, to be honest, I’ve been really horny all day,” he admitted with a slight laugh. “And I can’t stop thinking about you.”
You felt a surge of heat at his confession. “How can you be thinking about that when you're with your family?” you teased lightly, but there was something about the way he said it that sent a shiver down your spine.
He hesitated for a moment, before confessing, “I don't know, I just—I’ve been thinking about you nonstop. I wish you were here.”
You let out a soft laugh, heart racing. “Well, baby, what do you want to do about it?”
There was a brief silence on the other end, and then he whispered, “I’ve never done this before, but I wanna try phone sex. I’ve heard the guys in the frat talk about it, and I don’t know—I just really need you.”
“I’m down if you are, baby,”you said softly, feeling your body react. “But I don’t have my vibrator with me.”
Nicholas chuckled. “Well, I don’t have anything but my hand, but that’s enough as long as I hear your voice.”
Your breath hitched, and you could practically feel the tension between you two building on the phone. “I think that’ll do just fine,” you said, a teasing smile playing at your lips.
“Wait fuck, I forgot I had facetime, wanna switch?” he suggested.
You hung up immediately and called him on facetime, a small smirk on his face. There he was in all his glory, hair messy, shirtless with just his pajama bottoms on and his hard dick printing.
You had your bonnet on, bare faced and draped in a silk, two piece pajamas. “You look beautiful,” he said, admiring you as the red of your LED lights lit up your face, “the red lights are fitting.”
He propped up a pillow in front of him, skillfully angling the phone so that you could see his entire body. He was gorgeous as always, the dim light cascading over his shirtless body, his abs, his pecs, those fucking biceps. You wanted him on top of you crushing you. He was built like a Greek God.
You did the same, propping up the pillow and angling the phone so he could see your figure.
“You’re so fucking beautiful baby,” he grunted, bucking his hips. You could see the outline of his cock pressing against his pajamas.
“Tell me all the things you want to do to me baby,” you whispered, just loud enough so he could hear over the phone.
Nicholas pulled down his bottoms, his hard cock springing out, the sight made you bite your lips as you stared at his body through the phone screen.
His hand slid down his chest, teasingly close to where he was already hard, and your breath caught in your throat. “God, I miss that body,” you breathed, your voice a little shaky.
Nicholas’ gaze darkened, his lips curling into a smile as he ran his fingers over his abs. “You like what you see, baby?” he asked, his voice husky, each word slow and deliberate. “You’re driving me crazy here. I’m so hard for you, you have no idea.”
You shivered at his words, “I think you’re forgetting who has the real power here,” you teased, your smile playful yet full of the same heat that you felt building between you both.
He let out a low laugh, clearly appreciating your confidence. “You know you’re just as beautiful as always,” he said, his eyes never leaving you. “I can’t stop imagining the way you’d feel with me inside you right now.”
You grinned, “Is that so? I think I could help you with that. If only you were here.”
“I’d be all over you,” he murmured, his voice a low growl. His hand moved lower again, teasing his cock, though he didn’t touch fully. “I’d show you just how much I miss you.”
You bit your lip, unable to stop your pulse from quickening as his voice made the moment feel even more intimate. “If I were, I’d make sure you never wanted to leave me again.”
Nicholas groaned softly. “You’re playing with me, aren’t you?” His eyes flickered as his breath quickened, clearly lost in the moment. “You’re making me wish we weren’t miles apart right now.”
You smiled, a sense of power blooming within you as you responded, “Trust me, baby. I’d make it worth your while.”
You pulled off your satin pajama top, revealing your boobs, your nipples hard. Your hands went to them groping them as you bit your lip.
“Fuck, keep doing that baby, grope those fucking tits for me,” he moaned, his hands now stroking his painfully hard cock.
“I wish you were here to do it for me baby, I love the way your tongue flicks my nipples,” you said.
Your hand went down your abdomen and you heard Nicholas moaned, his movements speeding up. Swiftly, you slipped off your shorts and your panties, your pussy glistening in the light.
“Fucking hell baby, I’m gonna be so fucking deep inside that wet pussy when I see you,” he gasped, his hand moving to caress his balls.
“I’m gonna ride that cock so good, make you cum deep inside me.” You moved your fingers to collect the wetness onto your fingers before rubbing your clit. Your back arched off the bed and you did what you could to make sure you moans were soft enough so only Nicholas could hear.
“Fuck, I need that so bad right now baby, keep rubbing that clit, tell me more.” He spread his pre cum on the tip, a sweet whimper leaving his lips as his body shuddered.
“I want you to choke me while you fuck me, hard while you tell me how much of a slut I am,” you murmured, rubbing your clit in rough circles.
“I can do that baby, I can tell you how much of a dirty slut you are, fuck, you’re such a slut right now for doing this with me,” he said. The words uttering his lips were foreign to him, he was more inclined to have you do the degrading and taking the lead—unless you asked of course.
“Oh— baby, I wish you were here to fuck me hard from behind, I know how much you love this ass slapping against you,” you breathed out, your efforts speeding up, you were right on edge.
“Make sure you keep that same fucking energy when I see you, ‘cause I’ll be the one in control,” he said, tilting his head back slightly as his eyes averted to your fingers moving between your legs and his hand wrapped firmly around his cock, “you see how fast I’m stroking this hard fucking cock? That’s how fast I’ll be fucking you.”
“Baby, I think I’m gonna cum, can I cum for you?” you asked, now slipping your fingers inside your pussy.
“N-not yet, take those fingers out and put them in your mouth and then fuck yourself with them again,” he demanded, stroking his cock even faster now, “then I want you groping your tits.”
You did as you were told, bringing your dripping fingers up to your mouth and moaning around them as you savored your own tasted. Your hand went to your boobs, groping them as you imagined they were Nicholas’ large hands. As you did, you slipped your fingers back into your pussy, the sound of squelching the only thing that could be heard apart from your boyfriend’s breathy moans on facetime.
“Fuck, be a good fucking girl and cum for me, cum for me baby,” he gasped.
“Oh, Nicholas,” you moaned, your back arching from the bed as you finger fucked your pussy. Your juices spurted from you, coating your phone screen and the pillow in front of you. You moved your fingers to your clit, rubbing and guiding yourself through your orgasm, trying your best to quiet your breathy moans.
“Fucking hell baby, you’re so hot, squirting like that—shit, oh God, I’m gonna cum, can I cum baby? Please, I’m your good boy, I wanna cum for you,” he gasped, his body trembling as his hands moved quickly up and down his shaft.
“Cum for me baby, let me see that load all over your hand for me,” you uttered, groping your boobs as you watched him through the phone.
You got more than what you bargained for as Nicholas came all over his hand and even more so on his abdomen. “F-fuck baby, that was so hot,” he moaned breathily.
You both took a moment, panting as you stared at each other, your naked bodies rising and falling.
“I really enjoyed that baby,” you smiled, “shit, my screen’s all messed up.”
He laughed, rubbing his cum all over his abdomen, “I enjoyed that even more sweetheart, but now we gotta get cleaned up and you need your beauty rest.”
“Well, I guess this is goodbye until I call you next morning?” you giggled.
“No problem baby, I love you so much, never forget that and I miss you so much, I can’t wait to see you,” he said, his hair sticking to his damp forehead.
“I love you too Nick, I’ll call you tomorrow and I’ll see you soon.”

The Fascination with Tattoos~Levi Colwill
A minute of silence to appreciate him and his tattoos!
Your gaze is lost on Levi's arm, as it happens far too often. You’re both sitting on the couch at home, enjoying a quiet evening after a long day. He’s wearing a short-sleeved shirt, leaving his tattoos clearly visible as they wind along his muscular arm. Each line seems to tell a story, each design captures your attention. You can’t look away, and when you realize it, he’s already watching you with that mischievous smile that always makes you blush.
"Do you like what you see, love?" he asks, his voice warm and tinged with amused curiosity.
You quickly avert your gaze, embarrassed, trying to mask the heat rising to your cheeks. "I was just... thinking about what to cook tomorrow," you lie awkwardly.
Levi chuckles, leaning a little closer. "Sure, sure. So why were you staring at my arm for at least five minutes?"
You sigh, knowing you can’t escape his observation. "It’s just that... your tattoos are so beautiful. I can’t help but look at them."
He leans in even closer, propping his elbow on the back of the couch, his tattooed arm right in front of your face. "Oh, really? Which one’s your favorite?"
You bite your lip, hesitating. "The one with the roses. It’s so detailed, it almost looks real."
Levi raises an eyebrow, clearly entertained by your answer. "The roses, huh? I didn’t think you were into flowers."
You shrug, trying to play it cool. "I’m romantic, didn’t you know?"
"I know very well," he replies, leaning even closer. His arm is now practically under your nose, and you can feel the warmth of his skin. "Do you want to touch it?"
Your heart races, and you look at him with wide eyes. "What?"
He laughs softly, his voice a perfect blend of sweetness and teasing. "I said, do you want to touch it? I know you’re dying to."
You bite your lower lip, but eventually, you give in. Reaching out, you lightly trace the black lines of the tattoo with your fingers. Levi’s skin is warm under your touch, and he watches your every movement closely, as if you’re uncovering a secret.
"You really like it, huh?" he asks in a lower tone, almost whispering.
"I like everything about you," you admit, your voice a bit more confident now. "But the tattoos... they’re fascinating. They say so much about you."
Levi smiles, but there’s something different in his eyes now—a mix of pride and desire. "You know I got them to mark important moments in my life, right? But now, you’re making me want to get another one, just for you."
You look at him, surprised. "For me?"
He nods, his gaze serious but tender. "Yeah. Something that represents you, us. Maybe your name, or something only we’d understand."
Your heart tightens at the thought. "That would be amazing. But are you sure? I don’t want you to get a tattoo just to make me happy."
He takes your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours. "I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t want to. You know how much my tattoos mean to me, and you’re such an important part of my life. Why not celebrate that?"
You look into his eyes, feeling the love behind his words. "Then I want you to choose the design. Something that reminds you of me but also has meaning for you."
Levi smiles, pulling you closer for a kiss that’s sweet yet intense. "You’re incredible, you know that?"
After a few minutes, when you’re both lying on the couch again, he can’t resist teasing you one last time. He lifts his tattooed arm, showing off the details you adore so much. "So... how many times a day do you think about my tattoos?"
You laugh, hiding your face against his chest. "Too many to admit."
He wraps his arms around you, laughing with you. "Perfect, because I want you to keep it that way. And next time, I promise I’ll get something special inked, just for you."

“Don’t sweat it okay?” Sam assures, “It’s okay. Your job is.. complicated sometimes.”
You let out a sigh, “I know, but tomorrow is your birthday Sam.. I just.. I hate to miss it.”
“Listen.” Sam pauses, “The only person I really care about spending my birthday with, is you. And if I have to celebrate it another day, that’s fine by me. I’m okay, baby. I promise.”
“You’re sure?”
“Yes, y/n.” He chuckles, “I’m sure.”
“You’re sure you’re sure?”
“Y/n.”
“Okay.” You laugh, “I’ll let you know when I land in Florida. We’re about to take off here soon, so..”
“Safe travels. I’ll talk to you later, okay? I love you.”
“I love you.”
You hang up and look at Tara, “He’s going to be so mad at me for lying to him.” She shakes her head, “I don’t think he’ll be mad. You’re lying for good reason.”
“Yeah.” You nod, “I think you’re right.”
You rest your head back, staring out the window as you see people move down on the ground by the plane. You felt bad, but also, you felt proud.
You managed to get out of work early enough to make it home for Sam’s birthday, but you, Tara, and Colby managed to keep it under lock and key the last few days.
You knew Sam sounded sad, but he was trying to be happy for you.
You couldn’t wait to see the look on his face when he seen you, specifically on his birthday.
.⋅˚₊‧ 🜲 ‧₊˚ ⋅
“So he doesn’t want to do anything?” You look at Colby and scoff, “I know I didn’t.. ruin it.. but I feel like I did.”
Colby shakes his head, “He just misses you. You’ve been gone a week, and it’s not your fault that you had to be away when it was his birthday, he knows that.”
You sigh, “I know, but I just hope that me coming home actually helps.”
“Oh it will.” Colby chuckles, “He spent hours last night rambling on about how he feels bad for being sad, but I told him the same thing as I told you, don’t feel bad. It’s normal.”
You take a deep breath as you see the house come into view and you can’t help but shake a little with excitement, “So where is he?”
“Upstairs. He chose to edit our video. Jake wanted to take him out but he refused.”
“I’ll get him out of the house.” You smirk at Colby, “Don’t worry.”
You get out, stepping back to the back passenger door and Colby walks around, talking quietly, “Go. I’ll bring them in.”
You nod, looking towards house, and you can’t help but smile. You walk to the front door, quietly sneaking inside and looking around.
You hear music playing from upstairs, and you make your way towards the steps. You tiptoe to Sam’s door, peaking around the opening.
His back is facing you, laptop on his lap as he clicks away.
“How are you going to celebrate your birthday if you’re too into that video?”
Sam whips around, laptop falling to the floor as he stands up, “Oh my.. god. How are you-“ he rushes over to you, wrapping you tightly in a hug, “How are you here!?”
Your arms wrap his neck, “I just am.”
“What about work, you won’t get-“
“Sam.” You lay a hand over his mouth, “I took care of everything..” you raise your brows, “okay?”
He nods and tilts his head back to get his mouth uncovered, “Fine, then give me a kiss.”
You smile, leaning in to press your lips to his.
It instantly deepens.
Sam reaches behind you, pushing his door closed as he walks backwards towards the bed. He sits down, your legs on either side of his hips and you grind down.
He lets out a low groan against your lips, “Fuck, I’ve missed you.”
You kiss back his jaw, “I’ve missed you, too, birthday boy.” You nip his ear with your teeth, “since that’s what you are, I’ll let you do anything you want to me.”
You feel his body tense at your words, his hands tighten their grip on your hips, “Oh, really?”
You lean back, your hands sliding down his chest to grip the hem of his shirt, “oh really.” You smirk, pushing his shirt up his chest and pulling it over his head, “Anything you want.”
He bites his lip, tilting his head as his eyes trail down your body on his lap, “I can think of one thing.”
You reach down, gripping your shirt to pull it up over your head, “Ooh, do tell.”
His hands slide up and down your sides, “Mm, in a minute.” He pulls you back in, leaning back to lay down as your lips meet his.
His hands slide down to your ass, gripping tightly.
He rolls over, his hand sliding around your hip to slip his fingers into the band of your leggings, “I think..” he bites his lip, eyes meeting yours as he slides his hand in to press his fingers to your clit, “I want to fill that perfect little pussy of yours.”
You let out a quiet moan, “Yes.”
“Yeah?” Sam raises his brows, his fingers adding pressing as they circle, “You alright with that?”
“So alright with that.” You pull him in to close the space, biting down on his lip which earns a gasp from him, “Can I do something first?”
“Of course.” Sam pulls his hand out, moving to sit up, but you stop him with a hand on his chest, “Lay back.”
He smirks, knowing exactly what you’re about to do.
“Just lay back, and enjoy this.” You look up at him, “Birthday boy.”
“I’ll do anything for you.” He smiles and you playfully roll your eyes as you shrug his pants and boxers down his thighs.
You were gone a week, but it felt like years.
Your lip pulls between your teeth as your eyes scan up and down his hard cock that springs free from its hold, “I’ve missed you.” You look up at Sam and he nods, “I can agree to th-“
He gasps as your lips wrap around the tip of his cock, tongue swirling over it, “F-fuck.” His hand moves to lay on your head, “That’s it.”
You take more of him in, tilting your head forward as your tongue flattens around the underside.
Your hands press to his thighs as you work your head in a steady rhythm.
“Oh shit.” He groans, “So good at this, baby. Fuck.”
You hum slightly, sending pleasure to radiate through his lower half. He moans louder, bucking his hips as he holds your head still, “Just like that, sweetheart.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, moaning around him as his fingers tangle your hand around them, pulling hard.
He lifts your head up, pulling you towards him with the grip on your hair. His lips connect to yours as your hands move to push down your pants.
You lean back, kicking them off before straddling his lap. His lip pulls between his teeth as he watches you line yourself up with him, “God you are so beautiful.”
You smirk, jaw falling slack as you sink down onto him slowly. A long moan leaves your lips as your nails dig into his shoulders, “Fuck, Sam. I’ve needed you so bad.”
He nods, “I’ve needed you.”
He reaches up, pulling you down to kiss you once more, “You feel so fucking good.”
You move your hips up and down, rolling them forward and back, moaning with each movement.
Your hand slides up to his hair, tugging to tilt his head back as you kiss down his neck. He groans lowly as you bite and suck a mark into his neck, bucking his hips upward which earns a moan from you.
Your pace quickens, slamming down onto him as your nails drag down his chest.
He groans, gripping your wrists and pinning them behind you to your lower back. He holds you in place as he thrusts upward into you.
Your moans ring through his ears, causing him to moan, “You sound so beautiful.”
“I love making you feel good.”
“I love making you sound like this.”
“Your pussy is going to look so pretty with my cum dripping out of it.”
His words make you gasp, “Fuck, yes Sam. Please.”
He groans into your neck, letting go of your wrists before rolling you over onto your back. His thrusts pick up, hard and fast, “Yes what, baby?”
Your back lifts off the bed, pleasure radiates through your body as you approach your peak, “F-fuck, Sam.” You moan out loudly, “I want you to fill my pussy.”
He groans at your words, “They’re so much hotter when you say it.”
His lips attack yours, quickly moving down to litter your skin with purple marks. Your nails drag up his back, leaving red lines in their path, “Fuck, fuck don’t stop, don’t stop!”
You cry out repeatedly, your legs tightening around his hips as he guides you through your high.
“That’s it, baby.” Sam groans, “You feel so good, look so pretty when you cum.”
You whimper at his words, your body jolting with each thrust of pleasure that enters your body over and over again.
All you can do is moan.
“Right there with you.” Sam moan, “Fuck, fuck.”
He pushes his weight up, holding himself up with his arm by your head. His hand lays on your cheek as his eyes lock onto yours.
His thrusts grow sloppy, slowing down as you feel his cock start to twitch inside of you.
This was something you and Sam were always so careful about not doing, but you had a feeling that this was the first day of something that wasn’t ever going to end - and you didn’t want it to.
You moan at the feeling, biting down onto your lip as his slow thrusts come to a stop.
He sits up, staring down as he slowly pulls out of you.
He smirks, biting down into his lip, “Fuckin’ beautiful.”
You feel your cheeks turn warm and you laugh slightly as he gets up, “Was it everything you’ve ever hoped it would be?”
“Oh baby.” Sam walks back over with a towel, “It was everything and more.” He leans down, pecking your head before he lets you wipe off.
You watch as he looks around for his pants and you tilt your head, “Ready to celebrate your birthday now?”
Sam shrugs, “I mean.. what do you have in mind because it’s probably something a lot different than what’s in mine.”
You smirk, getting up onto your knees, “I mean.. I want to take you out.. but..” you reach out for him, “Another round couldn’t hurt.”
Sam smirks and drops his pants, “Maybe you can read my mind.”

A Little Something Extra
Pairing: Spencer Reid x GN!Reader (No use of Y/N)
Genre: fluff
Content warnings: none
Word count: 1.1K
Prompt 22: “You brought me breakfast?” “Well you said you always forget to eat before you go to work, so I thought I’d make sure you ate something.”
______________________________________________________________
It was another early morning in the BAU office, and the quiet buzz of activity filled the room. The coffee machine was working overtime, and the low hum of computers was accompanied by the soft shuffle of paperwork being passed around. In you usual spot near the windows, you were hunched over a stack of files, trying to make sense of the case that had been keeping you up for the last few days. There were too many details to sift through, and your brain felt like it was running on fumes.
You had told yourself that today would be different. You promised you'd take better care of yourself. You'd eat breakfast, take breaks, and not let the case consume you. But here you were, the morning slipping by, and you hadn’t had more than a few sips of cold coffee.
The sudden, unexpected sound of footsteps brought you back to the present. Looking up from your paperwork, you were met with a familiar face—Spencer Reid, looking more put-together than usual. He was carrying a tray with a bagel, fresh fruit, and a coffee cup with your name on it, balancing everything with an almost comical level of concentration.
You blinked, slightly confused. “You brought me breakfast?”
Spencer smiled sheepishly as he set the tray down on the corner of your desk. He’d already taken the time to carefully arrange everything as if he knew exactly what you liked. “Well, you said you always forget to eat before you go to work, so I thought I’d make sure you ate something.”
You leaned back in your chair, surprised at the thoughtful gesture. Spencer wasn’t exactly known for being overtly expressive with his feelings, but every now and then, he'd do something that made you realize just how much he paid attention to the little things.
“Really?” You raised an eyebrow. “You remembered that?”
Spencer's smile widened a little, but there was a trace of that characteristic nervousness in his eyes. “Of course. You’ve mentioned it a few times. And, well, I know how important it is to stay fueled, especially when we're dealing with, you know... all this.” He gestured to the mountain of case files on your desk.
You stared at him for a moment, your heart doing an unexpected flip. How did he always manage to do this? The little things, the quiet ways he showed that he cared—they added up. They meant more than you could say. You took a deep breath and smiled, your voice softening. “That’s really sweet of you, Spencer. Thank you.”
He looked slightly embarrassed now, his fingers fiddling with the edges of the tray as he cleared his throat. “I just thought... maybe you’d be able to concentrate better if you ate something. You know, breakfast helps with focus and energy levels, and I—”
You cut him off with a quiet laugh, reaching for the bagel and pulling off a piece. “Spencer, I’m sure you know all the scientific reasons why breakfast is important, but honestly, you didn’t have to go to all this trouble. I’m just... kind of terrible about remembering to eat.”
He shrugged, but his expression was still warm. “It’s no trouble. I know how intense these cases can get, and sometimes you forget to take care of yourself when you’re too focused on the work. I thought this might help.”
You felt a warmth spread through you, a mixture of appreciation and affection. “It definitely helps,” you said, taking another bite of the bagel. “And I think this is exactly what I needed.”
Spencer smiled, looking slightly less nervous now as if relieved that you weren’t going to make it awkward. He adjusted his glasses and stood back, a little uncomfortable but trying his best not to show it. “Well, I’ll leave you to your paperwork. I just wanted to make sure you were eating.”
Before he could turn to go, you quickly reached for the coffee cup he’d brought and held it out toward him. “Hey, would you like to sit for a second?” you asked, your voice soft, the invitation clear. “I don’t mind the company.”
Spencer’s eyes flickered to the seat across from you, then back to you, surprised. “Oh... I mean, I’d love to, but I don’t want to keep you from your work.”
You waved him off, smiling. “I’m already behind, but a break wouldn’t hurt. Besides, you brought me breakfast. The least I can do is share a few minutes with you.”
Spencer seemed a little flustered but pleased. He pulled out the chair across from you and sat down, taking a moment to adjust his posture, as though he were preparing for some deep conversation. When he spoke again, it was in his usual, thoughtful tone.
“So... how’s the paperwork going?”
You gave a small sigh, rubbing your eyes. “It’s slow going. We have a lot of details to connect, but I’m still trying to make sense of the pattern.”
He nodded, immediately falling into his element, discussing the finer details of the case with ease. His deep knowledge and sharp mind were always a comfort, and you couldn’t help but appreciate the quiet way he always made you feel heard, understood.
As you listened, nibbling on your breakfast and sipping the coffee he’d thoughtfully brought, you couldn’t help but smile to yourself. Spencer was always a little awkward in his own way, but the way he cared—it was something you couldn’t ignore. The small gestures, the careful consideration, the fact that he’d remembered something as simple as your bad habit of skipping meals... It meant more than you could express.
“So, you know,” you said, breaking into his focused chatter, “I’m actually really glad you brought me breakfast. It’s like... the perfect little reminder to take care of myself.”
Spencer blinked, then paused mid-sentence, his cheeks flushing a little. “Well, you should... you deserve to be taken care of,” he said, his voice a little quieter now, but there was a sincerity in it that made your heart flutter.
You looked at him, your gaze softening. “Thank you, Spencer. You always know just what I need.”
He gave a small, almost shy smile in response, but there was something in the way he looked at you—a flicker of something more, something deeper.
You knew that, for all his brilliance, Spencer had always been a bit of a mystery when it came to feelings. But in this moment, as you shared breakfast together, you didn’t need any more words to understand. He cared. And that meant everything.

You can write one about Pau Cubarsi where he teaches her how to play soccer, a really cute moment pleasee
Only friend — Pau Cubarsí.
Pairing: Pau Cubarsí x Fem!Reader
Summary: Pau knew you hadn’t been doing good, so he came over to get you out of your room by forcing you to play footy!
Word count: 920+
Disclaimer/s: mostly fluff + me projecting gulps so lighttt angst
A/N: hi guys yes this is me projecting my problems into writing thats my bad honestly I HATE WINTER!!
“Get out of bed.” Pau insisted, standing in your doorway with pursed lips. The second you heard the door open, you’d already known it was him since your parents knew better than to open it without knocking.
Shaking your head, you pull the blanket over your head. “Pau, go away. I’m tired.”
“Tired?” Pau sighs, slipping off his shoes and entering your room. “It’s two in the afternoon. It’s time to get up. I have plans for us.”
The bed dips under his weight and you finally turn around to face him. Dark circles ring around your eyes as you look up at him. “I went to bed at five.”
“In the morning?”
“Yes.”
“Don’t care.”
“Wha—“ You don’t get to finish your sentence because Pau had looped his arms under you and pulled you out of bed. “Pau!”
“Get dressed. We’re going to the park.” He says sternly, setting you down and offering a small smile. “Quit pouting.” He chuckles, placing a small kiss on your lips.
Trudging towards your closet, you change into ‘park safe clothes’ while Pau waited downstairs with your parents. Once you slipped on shoes and did your hair, you stomped down the steps.
Pau sat up on the couch, watching as you rounded the corner with a grumpy expression. He grinning, standing and saying his goodbye’s to your parents.
Your parents adored Pau. Like.. adored, adored. So did you, of course, but to them Pau could never do any wrong. To you, he could. Making you get out of bed to do God knows what, was wrong.
“What are we even doing today?” You quirk an eyebrow, climbing into the passenger seat.
Pau’s mouth forms a devious, shit-eating grin. “I’m teaching you how to play football.”
Instantly you reached for the door handle. Pau, having much faster reflexes, locks the car doors. “Nuh-uh!” He laughs, “you can have aux, just come with me, okay?”
Chewing on your cheek, you let out a huff. “Fine. Only because I hate your music.” He nearly tried to defend himself, but stopped when he saw the look you were giving him.
The park was quiet today, which was lucky for you. Only a few families milled about and they were at the play sets. Pau reached for his ball in the back seat before getting out. When you begrudgingly got out, he wrapped an arm around your shoulder.
“This will be fun!” He insists, planting a kiss to your forehead. No matter how annoyed you may be, it was so hard to stay in that state when your boyfriend was just so.. perfect.
“Fun is going to the mall. Fun is not spraining your ankle because your boyfriend forgets he’s playing with his girlfriend and not his teammate.” You point at him accusatorially, which sends waves of guilt through him.
“I apologized for that a million times!” He groans, letting his hand drop to your hip. “I won’t do that again. Promise.”
Rolling your eyes with a small smirk, you chuckle. “Sure. Okay, put the damn ball down.”
Pau grins, setting the ball on the fresh grass. “What should we start with today?” He thinks out loud to himself, which you watch with your hands on your hips.
“Well shit, I don’t know.” You mumble, “oh! Oh! Remember last time when I did that one thing?”
The teens eyebrows pull together before it dawns on him. He nudges the ball, playing with it as he thinks. “Okay, yeah. You’re talking about when you kicked it behind you?”
Shaking your head vigorously, you use your hands while you explain, “nooo. Dribbling! I think thats what it’s called?”
Pau looks up from the ball to you, “yeah, that’s what it’s called. Okay, jog beside me and watch the ball, i’ll explain as I do it.”
Nodding, you and Pau set off in a slow jog, as you do so, he explains his tactics and you watch him move. “It’s easier to do when you’re in a full on run, but you should start off jogging, it’ll make it easier to learn.” He stops the ball, kicking it up into his hands before he sets it in yours. “You got this.”
Swirling the ball in your hands, you chew on your bottom lip. “Right. Super simple.” You mumble, psyching yourself up. “Alright, let’s go.”
Letting the ball drop to the grass, you do just as Pau described. You nearly stumble, but catch yourself and continue. Every so often, Pau gives you a new pointer, and you adjust to it.
Throughout your time learning how to play, Pau gives you compliments and praises;
“Yes! Yes just like that, you’re a natural!”
“See, you know what you’re doing!”
“Might as well start calling you Messi.” — That was teasing, which you’d flicked him for, eliciting a loud giggle from the boy.
After nearly an hour of non-stop playing, you slump onto the bar of the net, catching your breath. “How do you do this nearly every fucking day?” You gasp out, taking a large gulp of water to alleviate the pain.
Pau sits across from you, leaning back on his palms. “Nena [baby], i’ve been doing this since i could walk.” He says with an amused expression.
Your eyes roll, “true.” Taking another large gulp and jump to your feet. “Let’s go again!”
Pau looks up at you incredulously. “Again? Not even an hour ago you were complaining about me even bringing you here.”
“Yeah, well. Times change.” You grin, reaching for the ball.

You Should Always Come First | Bang Chan 방찬 Drabble
Pairing: Bang Chan x Reader (she/her)
Summary: Chan could no longer watch Y/N exhausting herself.
Warning: fluff
Word Count: 688 (drubble)
Author’s Note: For those who are worried about an upcoming exam, test or a job interview. You can do it, don't doubt yourself ♡
“Baby, what is it?”
Chan has noticed Y/N being rather tense that evening, yet, he didn’t want to get on her nerves with the same questions, as he pretty much knew the main reason of his girlfriend’s mood — the upcoming exams. Even though Bang Chan was sure that Y/N would pass them well, he could understand Y/N’s concerns. It’s never easy to be confident in your own abilities in general, and being under a stress it felt almost impossible at all. The idol learnt it from his own experience.
Chan understood that words such as "it’ll be alright" and "you know the material well, don’t worry" wouldn’t help much. Of course, support was important, yet, in the moments, when everything felt like a bare wire, each phrase should have been chosen very carefully. He didn’t want to give Y/N even more pressure — she was giving it enough herself. Chan tried his best just by saying small "don’t be harsh on yourself", "don’t forget to rest" and "I know you work hard, and it’s way more important than the result".
Yet, when he saw that Y/N was getting angry at herself for not being able to learn important terms once again, the guy decided it was time to interfere. Her brain simply refused to accept new information, as it simply had enough today. And yesterday, and the day before yesterday… His girl needed a break.
“It’s nothing, just can’t memorise it. I don’t know how I’m going to pass it,” Y/N sighed and closed the eyes, trying to keep herself together.
“Let’s get some rest, it’s been a while," Chan said softly. “I’ll help you to learn it after a break, okay?” he promised and stood up from his place to take a seat next to the girl. They were in his studio, but while Y/N was studying, the idol couldn’t really concentrate on music the last thirty minutes, being too worried for the girl. She’s been exhausting herself lately, and all Bang Chan cared about was Y/N’s well-being.
“You’re doing great, I promise,” the guy gently cuddled Y/N, trying to soothe her. Finally relaxing a bit, she went a little numb in his embrace and placed a head on Chan’s shoulder.
“I know rest is important. It’s just… I don’t have time. The exams are in few days, and it seems like I still don’t know anything,” Y/N admitted quietly, at the same time hating herself for the recent complaining.
“Learn as much as you can, but don’t exhaust yourself. It’ll make things only worse, Y/N," Chan reminded and patted her head lightly. "And just a lunch break isn’t enough. Let’s spend this evening together, not thinking of anything, okay? Tomorrow will be a new day, and you can start again," the idol pecked her cheek tenderly.
The girl sighed and nodded,
"Channie? I’m sorry I was a bit gloomy lately. I didn’t mean it like this. It’s just… the exams–" after a moment of silence she quietly mumbled, but Bang Chan didn’t let her finish.
"I know. Don’t worry about it, Y/N. And I know it’s not easy to get distracted, when all you can think about is your exam. I don’t mean to say it’s not important, you put value on it for a reason, yet, I don’t want you to forget that it’s not the only thing that matters. You should always come first," he smiled and lightly tickled her, so the girl shivered, and a quiet giggle left her lips – she was extremely bad when it came to tickling. However, Chan was no better. "Got it?"
"Mhm. I like how you can be serious for only few minutes, and then you are back to your normal self" Y/N joked and shrieked, when the idol tickled her side once again.
"Yah! I can be very serious, when it’s needed! Do you doubt me?!" the guy jokingly outraged, feeling a warmth spreading all over his body. He missed her sincere smile and silly little giggles. After all, it’s all what he needed now.

Masterlist / Previous Part
Y/N wasn’t expecting the call.
Her evening was supposed to be low-key —grading papers, maybe catching a show with Logan and Wade later. But when Logan called, everything changed.
When she arrived, her father was comfortably seated on the couch, chatting animatedly with Logan. Logan looked both polite and slightly panicked— caught in the middle of a conversation he didn’t initiate. The sight almost made Y/N laugh. How Logan always ended up trapped with the chattiest person ever was a mystery.
“Dad!” Y/N greeted, pulling her father’s attention away from Logan.
“Hey, kiddo!” Your father, Daniel, stood up with a grin, acting as if this surprise visit was the most normal thing in the world. “I thought I’d drop by and see how you were doing.”
Y/N gave him a quick hug, still trying to process the unexpected visit. “I didn’t know you were in town.”
“Just figured I’d come check on you in this new place of yours!” he said, waving it off as no big deal.
Logan stood, relieved now that Y/N was here to handle things. “I’ll let you two catch up,” he murmured, retreating toward the kitchen.
“Thanks, Logan,” Y/N said softly, before turning back to her father. “You’ve met Logan?”
Daniel nodded. “Yeah, nice guy. We were just talking about his work—special ed teacher, right?”
“Yeah, he is,” Y/N replied, adjusting to the idea of her dad sitting in her apartment, chatting with Logan of all people.
A moment later, the door opened, and Wade strolled in after his shift at the bar, his usual grin plastered across his face. He spotted Y/N and her dad sitting in the living room and raised an eyebrow.
“Hey, what’d I miss?” Wade asked, dropping his bag by the door.
“Wade, this is my dad,” Y/N introduced, trying to keep the situation from becoming even more awkward.
Wade immediately brightened. “Ah, family!” he announced with his signature charm, shaking her dad’s hand. “I’m Wade. Roommate number one— the one who makes sure this place doesn’t burn down.”
Y/N tried not to laugh while Logan snorted from the kitchen. Daniel chuckled, easily won over by Wade’s humor. “Nice to meet you, Wade.”
Wade flashed Y/N a grin before slipping off toward the kitchen, joining Logan who was standing by the counter, quietly observing from a distance.
“So that’s Y/N’s dad?” Wade asked, leaning against the counter. “What’s the verdict?”
Logan shrugged slightly, glancing back at the living room. “Talks a whole lot. Very intense. Protective. Y/N’s surprised by the visit.”
Wade crossed his arms, clearly intrigued. “I know, she was at the bar when you called. Did he mention why he’s here?”
Logan shook his head. “Not really. Just asked me a thousands questions in less than ten minutes. I didn’t want to pry.”
“Good call,” Wade nodded, then peered over the counter toward the living room again. “He staying for dinner?”
“No idea.” Logan replied, though the question hung between them as they began preparing something simple.
From the kitchen, Wade called out, “Mr. Y/L/N, are you staying for dinner?”
Before Y/N could answer, her dad jumped in with a grin. “Absolutely.”
Y/N shot a look in Wade and Logan's direction, as if to say, I wasn’t planning this, but they simply exchanged a glance between themselves. They shared a silent understanding— something about the situation was off. Wade raised an eyebrow, while Logan gave a subtle nod, signaling that they were both on alert now.
With no turning back, they set about preparing a simple meal, something easy but filling— pasta and a salad. While they worked, the soft hum of Y/N and her father’s conversation continued in the background, though they couldn’t help but tune in occasionally, catching snippets of what they were saying.
———
“So,” she began, choosing her words carefully. “What brings you here, Dad?”
Daniel leaned back on the couch, his eyes scanning the room. “Do I need a reason to visit my daughter?”
Y/N gave a small, hesitant smile. “No, of course not. But you didn’t tell me you were coming.”
“Wanted to surprise you,” he replied with a shrug, though there was something in his tone that sounded off. “Thought I’d check out your new place. Make sure it’s... decent.”
Y/N nodded slowly, sensing the subtle judgment in his words. “It’s fine, Dad. I like it here.” She let her eyes drift to the kitchen where Logan and Wade were working, grateful for the slight distraction.
Her father followed her gaze, raising an eyebrow when he saw Logan. “So… Logan, right?”
“Yeah,” Y/N said quickly, confused as to where this was going. “What about him?
“He seems like a solid guy. You sure you two are just... roommates?” He asked and she bit the inside of her cheek, bracing herself for where this conversation might go.
“Yes, Dad. We’re just roommates. That’s all.”
“Alright, alright, but what about Wade?” he asked,
“What's going on with you?" she blurted, raising an eyebrow as a grin threatened to break through.
Her father held up his hands in defense. “Just asking. Your mother and I used to talk about stuff like this, you know.”
Y/N blinked, caught off guard by the mention of her mom. Her father rarely brought her up that way, especially with how tense things still were between her parents, even decades after the divorce. It was usually more an inappropriate comment her mother didn’t deserve.
“Oh, really?” she asked carefully, not sure where this was heading.
“Yeah,” Daniel continued, his tone softening a little. “Back before things went... south. We used to wonder what you’d end up doing, where you’d live, and who you’d end up with. She always had these big ideas. Thought you’d find someone nice. Maybe settle down with a guy like one of these guys.”
Y/N opened her mouth to respond but paused, momentarily stunned by his gentler tone. Her father, for once, wasn’t launching into some bitter comment about her mom.
“She really said that?” Y/N asked softly, her curiosity outweighing her hesitance.
Daniel nodded with a smile. “She did. We were always so worried about you, you know? But it wasn’t just about who you’d end up with. We would imagine your entire future, what career you’ll end up choosing, how many dogs you would have— cause you always wanted one and we always told you ‘You’ll get one when you'll have your own house’…”
Y/N was quiet for a moment, letting his words sink in. It had been so long since her father had spoken about her childhood without bitterness that she almost didn’t know how to respond.
“I didn’t know you guys had my whole life planned,” Y/N chuckled, her voice softer now, her guard slowly lowering.
Daniel glanced over at her, smiling. “Yeah, well…we did that with your brother— although we didn’t expect any of his life choices, but that’s another story.”
For the first time in years, Y/N felt a connection with her father. A sense of mutual understanding that didn’t come laced with tension or resentment. It was brief, but it was something.
She smiled, a real one this time. “Thanks for telling me all that, Dad. That means a lot.”
Daniel reached over and squeezed her hand, his touch firm but comforting. “I missed you, honey.”
Y/N smiled, feeling the weight between them lighten. “I missed you too.”
Before the moment could grow too emotional, Logan called from the kitchen, “Dinner’s ready.”
Y/N looked toward the kitchen and then back at her father, who was already starting to stand.
“Well, let’s see what your roommates can do in the kitchen,” Daniel said with a faint smirk.
As they made their way to the table, Y/N couldn’t help but think that they’d actually had a good conversation. One that hadn’t ended with her dad tearing her mom down or leaving her feeling caught in the middle. Maybe things weren’t perfect between them, but for now, this small moment of peace was enough.
Daniel took the seat next to Y/N, while Logan and Wade sat on the opposite side. The conversation started politely enough, with Wade doing his usual job of keeping things light. He shared stories from his bartending adventures, as he always did, earning a few chuckles from James, who seemed to enjoy Wade’s humor.
The smell of the simple pasta dish Logan and Wade had thrown together filled the apartment. The atmosphere was initially warm, with everyone engaged in casual conversation.
“So, Wade,” Y/N’s dad said as he twirled his fork through the spaghetti. “Y/N told me you're a comedian?”
Wade grinned. “Yeah, I make people laugh for a living. Or at least try to. It’s a tough crowd out there.”
Daniel nodded. “Well, we could all use more of that these days.”
The conversation ebbed and flowed easily at first, moving between work, the city, and Y/N’s life in the apartment. Wade cracked jokes here and there, and Logan offered his quiet, thoughtful input when needed. It felt comfortable, almost like a normal family dinner.
But then, the conversation shifted.
“So, Y/N,” her dad began, his tone changing ever so slightly. “Have you heard from your mom lately? Still living the California dream, I assume.”
Y/N felt her body tense, and she shot a quick glance at Logan, who was watching her father closely. Wade picked up on the shift too, though he didn’t say anything.
“She’s doing fine,” Y/N replied cautiously. “We talked last week, actually. She’s been busy with work, but she’s good.”
Her dad gave a small, dismissive shrug. “Work. Right. And still with that guy, I suppose?”
Y/N's eyes narrowed slightly. “Yes. His name is Paul.”
Her father sighed, shaking his head. “I just don’t get it. She moves halfway across the country, barely checks in, and now with your brother all the way in Europe—”
“Dad,” Y/N interrupted. “She didn’t move across the country to get away from us. She moved for herself. And we’re fine. Sam and I are doing just fine.”
Daniel scoffed softly, setting his fork down. “I’m not saying you’re not fine, Y/N. I just don’t see how a mother can be so far away from her kids and not feel guilty. If I were her, I’d—”
“Well, you’re not her,” Y/N cut in, her voice sharper now. “You’ve been divorced for years. She didn’t abandon us, and she still cares. You don’t need to keep bringing it up like she left us to fend for ourselves.”
Logan’s jaw tightened as he glanced between Y/N and her father, sensing the rising tension. Wade shifted uncomfortably in his seat but stayed silent, eyes flicking to Logan for some kind of cue.
“I’m just saying,” Daniel continued, his voice lower now, “she could have stayed. Made more of an effort. But she left.”
“She didn’t leave us, Dad,” Y/N said, her patience wearing thin. “And honestly, Sam and I— we’re adults. We didn’t need her to stay and ‘raise’ us anymore. You’ve moved on with your life. Why can’t you let her do the same?”
Her father’s face tightened, and the air in the room grew heavy with unspoken frustration. For a moment, it felt like everyone at the table was holding their breath.
“I know you’re grown, Y/N,” Daniel said quietly, his eyes hard but sad. “But I don’t think a parent ever stops worrying about their kids. I just want to make sure you’re okay.”
Y/N sighed, trying to keep her voice steady. “I am okay, Dad. But you’ve got to stop blaming her for everything. This is your issue, not mine. Mom’s living her life, and I’m living mine.”
The room was thick with tension now, and no one knew quite what to say. Y/N’s father looked down at his plate, clearly feeling the weight of her words. Logan glanced at Wade, who shot him a silent look of understanding—they both knew when to stay out of family affairs.
After a long pause, Daniel finally spoke, his voice quieter than before and looking at all the people at the table. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to drag things down.”
Y/N softened and shook her head. “I know, Dad. But you’ve got to let this go.”
There was another silence before he nodded slowly. “You’re right. I’m sorry.”
The mood at the table lightened just slightly as everyone tried to return to their meals, though the weight of the conversation still hung in the air.
For a moment, there was silence, the air thick with unspoken words. Then, as if on cue, Wade jumped in, his voice cheerful and light. “You know what’s great about family dinners? Dessert! Who’s ready for some ice cream?”
The sudden change in tone broke the tension, and Y/N gave Wade a grateful look. Her dad, too, seemed to relax, chuckling at Wade’s enthusiasm. “Ice cream, huh? Now that’s something I like to hear.”
As Wade made his way to the kitchen, Y/N’s father glanced around the apartment again. His eyes landed on the fridge, and something seemed to catch his attention. “Hey, is that the picture I think it is?”
Y/N followed his gaze, realizing he was looking at the family photo she had put up weeks ago.
“Yeah,” Y/N replied, her voice softer now. “Wade and Logan insisted that I should put it up when I moved in.”
Daniel stood and walked over to the fridge, staring at the picture for a long moment. His expression shifted, a mixture of nostalgia and something else—regret, maybe. He ran a hand through his hair, his voice quiet when he finally spoke. “That was a good day. One of the last before things started to go wrong.”
Y/N felt a lump form in her throat. Something about the way he was looking at the photo made her heart ache.
“It was,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Daniel turned to face her, his eyes softer now. “You’ve grown up so much, Y/N. I don’t say it enough, but I’m proud of you. No matter what happened between me and your mom, I’m proud of the person you’ve become. And I’m sorry for…all the mess that we caused.”
Y/N’s heart clenched at his words. She gave him a small, genuine smile. “Thanks, Dad.”
The moment hung in the air for a beat longer before Wade returned with bowls of ice cream, his voice breaking through the heaviness. “Alright, dessert is served! I got vanilla, chocolate, and this weird one Logan bought—pistachio whatever. Anyone feeling adventurous?”
Daniel chuckled, the warmth returning to his expression. “I’ll stick with chocolate, thanks.”
The atmosphere lightened once again, and they all sat back down at the table, enjoying their ice cream and talking a bit more.
As the plates were cleared and the remnants of dinner were packed away, Y/N walked her father to the door, feeling the tension of the evening settle uncomfortably between them. The earlier argument still simmered, but it had cooled to a manageable level.
“I didn’t mean to upset you,” her dad said quietly, standing in the doorway. “It’s just hard, you know? Seeing you grown up, dealing with your own stuff, and not being able to do anything about it.”
Y/N offered a small, tired smile. “I know, Dad. And I appreciate that you care. But I’ve got this. You don’t need to keep fighting old battles.”
Daniel sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I guess I just still see you as my little girl. Hard to let that go sometimes.”
Y/N stepped forward and hugged him tightly. “I’ll always be your little girl, Dad. But you’ve got to trust that I know what I’m doing.”
Her father hugged her back, his arms wrapping around her in a way that felt both protective and regretful. “I’m sorry for bringing all that up. It wasn’t fair.”
Y/N pulled back slightly, meeting his eyes. “It’s okay. Just…next time, maybe we can talk about something else?”
He smiled. “Deal.”
With one last hug, Daniel stepped out into the hallway. “I’ll call you soon. Let me know if you ever need anything.”
“I will.” Y/N said, watching as her dad gave her one last nod before heading down the hallway.
When she closed the door, Y/N leaned against it, letting out a long breath. It hadn’t gone perfectly, but at least it was over. She turned around to find Logan and Wade standing there, watching her with quiet concern.
“I’m sorry,” Y/N began, her voice barely above a whisper. “I had no idea he was going to show up like that. I didn’t mean to put you both through all that drama.”
Wade, who was leaning casually against the kitchen counter, waved it off. “Are you kidding? This is mild compared to some of the shit I’ve seen and heard.”
Logan stepped closer, his expression soft. “You don’t need to apologize. Family stuff happens. We’re in this with you.”
Y/N blinked, a small, grateful smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. “Thanks, but it was just… a lot.”
Logan nodded. “We get it. You don’t choose your family, but you can make your own, you know?”
Wade chimed in with a grin. “And lucky for you, you’ve got us, the best family you could ever create.”
Y/N laughed softly, the warmth of their words settling into her chest. “Thanks, guys.”
Logan gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder, and Wade, sensing the need for space, stretched dramatically. “Alright, I’m out. This emotional rollercoaster wiped me out. I’ll catch you both in the morning.”
“Goodnight, Wade,” Y/N said, shaking her head with a smile as he disappeared into his room.
Logan gave Y/N a lingering look. “You good?”
She nodded, still trying to shake off the heavy emotions of the night. “Yeah. I just need a minute.”
Logan gave her a small nod. “Take your time. Goodnight, Y/N.”
“Goodnight.”
Logan disappeared into his room as well, and Y/N sank into the couch. The living room was quiet now, and for a while, she let herself just breathe. The weight of the conversation with her dad still lingered, along with the tangled emotions from the night. She found herself staring at nothing, lost in her thoughts.
The hours slipped by unnoticed, the apartment dim and silent around her. She didn’t realize how late it had gotten until she heard the soft sound of footsteps approaching. Startled, Y/N turned her head to see Logan walking into the living room, his hair tousled from sleep.
“You okay?” he asked, his voice low, concerned.
Y/N let out a small, humorless laugh. “I thought you went to bed.”
“I did,” Logan said, sitting down on the couch beside her. “But I saw the lights were still on and thought you had fallen asleep here.”
Y/N sighed, her eyes fixed on the floor. “Sorry. I guess I didn’t realize how much time passed. I’ve just been… thinking.”
Logan watched her closely. “About what?”
Y/N shrugged, trying to find the words. “I don’t know. Everything, I guess. My dad, my mom, the divorce… I don’t want to cry about it. It feels like I’d be a little girl again, crying over something that happened so long ago. Like I can’t move on.”
Logan leaned forward, his arms resting on his knees as he looked at her. “It doesn’t matter how long ago it was. If it’s still hurting you, it’s okay to cry about it.”
Y/N shook her head, trying to swallow the lump forming in her throat. “But I shouldn’t. I’m not a kid anymore. Fuck, I’m a grown ass adult in my thirties. I can’t let this stuff affect me like it did back then.”
Logan's voice softened. “Y/N, you’re allowed to feel whatever you’re feeling. You don’t have to hold it in just because it’s been years. It’s still part of you.”
Y/N felt the tears prick at her eyes, but she fought to keep them at bay. “I don’t want to cry.”
“You don’t have to,” Logan said gently. “But if you do, I’m right here. You don’t have to do it alone.”
Y/N’s defenses crumbled at his words. She felt the dam break inside her, and before she could stop herself, the tears started to flow. At first, it was just a few quiet sobs, but soon she was genuinely crying, her shoulders shaking as the weight of everything she had been holding in finally spilled out.
Logan didn’t say a word. He simply shifted closer and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her into a comforting embrace. Y/N buried her face in his chest, her tears soaking his shirt, but Logan didn’t seem to mind. He just held her, letting her cry, offering nothing but his presence.
After a few minutes, Y/N’s sobs began to quiet. She stayed in Logan’s arms, feeling the warmth of his body and the steady beat of his heart beneath her cheek. It was calming, grounding.
“I hate this,” she whispered after a long pause, her voice hoarse. “I hate that it still hurts.”
“I know,” Logan murmured softly. “But it’s okay. You’ve been carrying it for a long time.”
Y/N wiped her eyes, her breathing evening out. “I feel so stupid.”
“You’re not stupid,” Logan said.
Y/N sniffled, pulling back slightly to look at him. “Thank you. For being here.”
Logan gave her a small smile, his hand still resting on her shoulder. “I’ll always be here for you. You know that, right?”
She nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over her, and maybe something else. “Yeah. I do.”
After another long moment of silence, Logan shifted, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “You should get some sleep.”
She nodded. “You’re right. I got school tomorrow.”
Logan stood up and offered her a hand, helping her up from the couch. “You’ll feel better in the morning.”
Y/N smiled, feeling a little lighter. “You need to rest too, you know.”
Logan chuckled softly. “I will. But I’m not the one who just went through a rollercoaster of a night.”
Y/N gave him a grateful look as they walked toward their rooms. “Night, Logan. And… thanks again.”
Logan stopped at his door and gave her a soft smile. “See you tomorrow.”
With that, they each retreated to their rooms, leaving the quiet of the apartment to settle around them once more. But this time, the silence felt a little more peaceful, a little more comforting.

I Hear Them Calling (Extra: Thanksgiving)
Story Summary: Alpha Harry Styles and omega Y/N Y/L/N meet under less than ideal circumstances. Overtime their paths will cross and they will be drawn to one another in ways they never expected.
Summary: Thanksgiving is Y/Ns favorite holiday, but an unexpected heat nearly derails it. Her alpha, Harry, is there to make sure things go according to plan.
Word Count: 2K
CW: mentions of heat cycle, scenting, omega drop
AN: So happy to bring these characters back for a bit! I do have another couple extras planned for them!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanksgiving has always been one of your favorite holidays. It’s the only time of year that your whole family gets together, and so you always go all out. The festivities last for days, and you always have so much fun and make so many memories.
Which is why you panic when you start feeling signs of pre-heat the Friday before Thanksgiving.
Harry is out at the studio when it happens, starting to work on some writing for his next album. When his phone rings he checks it and smiles seeing your name there.
“Hi baby, I promise I’m wrapping up here within the hour,” he says, knowing he’s been gone longer than he planned to.
“Alpha,” you reply, your voice shaky. Harry is immediately on edge, your tone worrying him as well as his inner alpha.
“Omega, what’s wrong?” He’s on his feet, gathering his things as he listens to you reply, “I think I’m going into heat.”
He takes a breath, relieved that’s the answer. He was admittedly worried that something was really wrong, or that a strange alpha was trying to hurt you. But a heat, that’s something the two of you can handle.
“How soon do you think?” he asks.
“Uhm, not immediately. Maybe tomorrow,” you answer.
“Okay well I’ll finish up here as quickly as I can and clear my schedule. Everything is going to be alright.”
“No it’s not!” Harry’s shocked by your outburst. You’re normally so calm and level headed. He knows there has to be more than just an oncoming heat.
“Sweetheart you’ve had heats before, you’re never this worried. What’s going on?”
It’s quiet for a moment until you answer, “I don’t want to miss Thanksgiving.”
“Oh, baby. I know you don’t. But I really don’t think we will. If it starts tomorrow like you think it will be over in time to get home, just like we planned.”
“It will?”
“It will. You’ve never gone more than three days since you’ve been on these suppressants. If it makes you feel better why don’t you start packing and getting ready for the trip now? That way you won’t have to worry about it after. We can just relax until it’s time to go.”
“Okay. Yea. That’s a good idea,” you reply.
“Alright. You start that and I’ll take care of the last of my work stuff. I’ll swing by the shops on my way home and get some heat food for us.”
“Okay. Don’t be too long. I miss you. Need my alpha,” you say, causing Harry’s heart to swell.
“I’ll be as fast as possible. I love you, omega.”
“Love you too,” you reply before hanging up.
You feel antsy, wanting your alpha home with you. The extra clinginess is always one of the first signs of your heat. But you do as Harry suggested and pack both of your bags. When that’s done you start to build a nest, wanting a fresh one to spend your heat in.
Harry’s impressed when he gets home. Not only are you done packing, but you’d built a beautiful nest for the two of you.
You spend the rest of the night by his side, first not wanting him out of your sight, then later not allowing him out of your reach. Saturday morning comes and you’re disappointed that you’ve made it through the night without your heat starting.
As the day goes on you get more and more anxious. It has to start soon, the time you have until Thanksgiving is ticking away. You become more agitated, and even Harry can’t calm you like he normally can.
And then finally, just as you’re cleaning up dinner, the first wave hits you. Nearly crying in relief you rush Harry to your nest, where you’ll spend the following 72 hours.
By Tuesday night your heat has mostly passed, and you happily let Harry pamper you. The two of you bathe together before sharing a delicious meal. You’re both exhausted, quickly falling asleep in the bed that Harry has expertly made with fresh sheets.
Wednesday morning comes and Harry is confused to wake up to an empty bed. He’d planned on a lazy lie in where he could continue to cuddle and scent you, give you the closeness and the touch that your omega needs after a heat.
He finds you in the kitchen making breakfast, and his alpha scolds him for not taking proper care of you.
But you don’t see it that way. You feel great! You’d just had an enjoyable heat shared with your wonderful alpha, and you’re excited to get on the road to be with your family. Right now, everything is perfect in your eyes.
“Baby, what are you doing up?” Harry asks, coming over to help you.
“I slept like a log all night. Don’t think I even rolled over once. So I’m feeling refreshed. How are you, did you sleep okay?”
“Yea, yea I’m good,” he answers. You gesture for him to sit and he does as he’s told. The two of you eat together and he makes sure to thank you and compliment the breakfast you’d made.
“Alright so I’m going to shower and finish getting everything ready. I’m hoping to be on the road by 11. Those bags by the door are ready. Can you load them in the car?”
Harry’s taken aback again. Surely you don’t plan to leave so soon. You’re barely twelve hours out of your heat. He’d hoped that you would be willing to wait twenty four hours and drive up that evening. Well really he wanted to wait until the following morning, but he knew you’d want to wake up at your mom’s house on the actual holiday.
But this? This made him nervous. You seem fine, but this is not how you normally are after a heat. Normally you won’t let him leave your side for at least two days. You try to hide away from the rest of the world, wanting to stay home, stay in your nest. He doesn’t want you pushing yourself too much, but he also knows that there’s no stopping you at this point. You have the plan made, and you’re going to execute it.
Vowing to keep a close eye on you, Harry follows your lead. Just as you’d planned, you’re on the road by 11. Harry is relieved to see you nap for a bit of the drive, and he’s reluctant to wake you once you get there.
But everything starts out smoothly. Your parents are excited to see you and Harry, and after you settle everything in your room, the four of you have a lovely lunch together.
Mid-afternoon the rest of your family arrives. You say hello to everyone, and then your cousin Kelly introduces you to her new boyfriend. You’re immediately taken aback by the scent of an alpha.
Aside from you, every single person in your family is a beta. You never expected that there would be an alpha at your family gathering.
Harry tenses beside you and you know he’s picked up on the scent as well. You both remain polite before excusing yourselves for a moment.
Quickly you head up to your room, Harry following close behind. Once the door is closed you take a deep breath.
Harry sits on the edge of the bed, reaching out to help you sit next to him.
“I didn’t know that an alpha would be here,” you state.
“I know. Are you okay?” he asks. You’re hesitant around alphas as it is, and seeing one while fresh out of heat is clearly upsetting your omega.
“I don’t know. I feel a bit weird. Can you scent me? Please?”
“Of course, baby,” he replies. He leans down, his nose brushing the scent gland on your neck. He douses you in calming pheromones and you begin to go lax. But a knock at the door has you tensing once again.
“Who is it?” Harry asks.
“It’s Erin, can I come in?” You nod yes and Harry speaks the reply. The door opens and Erin says, “Just wanted to make sure you guys are okay.”
You smile at this. Erin, who is a few years older than you, has always been more like a big sister than a cousin. It makes you happy that even though you’ve both grown up, she’s still looking out for you.
“I’m okay,” you reply. “It’s just- I finished a heat yesterday and didn’t expect there to be an alpha here.”
“What do you mean? There aren’t any alphas except Harry.”
“Kelly’s boyfriend. He smells like an alpha,” you explain.
“That’s odd,” Erin replies. “He’s definitely a beta. He does have an alpha brother, maybe that’s what you're smelling. I can go talk to him to see if that’s the case. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it,” she says and leaves before you can even thank her.
She comes back a couple minutes later and says, “It’s confirmed. He’s a beta and is borrowing clothes from his brother. He found a clean shirt and even sprayed some neutralisers to make sure the smell is completely gone.”
Suddenly you feel embarrassed by your overreaction. Harry can sense this, but simply replies, “That’s so kind of him. Thank you for helping with that. We’re going to stay up here a little longer. Can you tell everyone we’ll be down in a bit?”
“Yea of course. Feel free to text me if you need anything,” Erin says before leaving the room, closing the door behind her.
“What’s wrong?” Harry asks.
“I feel bad. Like, guilty that I overreacted,” you reply.
“There’s nothing to feel bad about. Sometimes our secondary genders take a bit of control. I know mine did down there. The second that scent hit me my only goal was to get my omega as far from that unknown alpha as possible.”
It does make you feel better to know that Harry was as affected as you were. You lean up to scent him briefly, before pulling away.
Harry gives you a questioning look and you say, “I’m a little dizzy. I think- I’m pretty sure I’m dropping.”
“That’s perfectly okay,” Harry replies. He moves the two of you so you’re comfortably lying in the bed. “I’m here, omega. I’ll protect you. I’ve got you.”
He’s releasing soothing pheromones, and before you know it your world goes dark as you enter into a peaceful drop.
It’s quick, only lasting half an hour, and you wake up more refreshed than you’ve felt in a while. Finally you’re ready to join your family.
Dinner that night is simple, takeout from a local Italian restaurant. But it’s not about the food, it’s about the people. You catch up with your family, enjoying this time with them as your alpha sits beside you, a steady hand resting on your knee to reassure you of his presence after your heat and drop.
The next day is wonderful as well. Harry has never celebrated American Thanksgiving before and you and your family make sure he gets the full experience. Which of course includes the frantic rush to get the turkey in the oven on time while the Macy’s parade plays on the TV.
That night you’re seated on the couch, Harry beside you, and your heart fills with pride at seeing him interact so wonderfully with your family.
The next morning is much more relaxed, everyone sitting around enjoying their tea or coffee. Both lunch and dinner consist of the previous day’s leftovers, and the vibe remains calm
That is until the table is cleared of food, making room for board games.
Somehow you’d forgotten to warn Harry about this part of the family get togethers.
You wouldn’t say you’re a particularly competitive group. But something about board games really leads you all to get extra excited.
No one ever gets angry or anything, just very, very loud. And honestly, quite silly.
Harry fits right in, joking along with the rest of you as things continue to get out of hand. There’s more laughter than anything, and you pause a moment to simply take it all in. You have everything you could ever want, and as you watch Harry give up the crown to your cousin during the Pretty, Pretty Princess tournament, you feel a sense of peace.
Being an omega in this world is hard, but now that you’ve found your perfect alpha, it all feels worth it.

at your most authentic | percy jackson
ღ percy jackson x daughter of hypnos! reader ღ warnings: insecurities, hurt/comfort! ღ wc: 1.120 love u all don't hate me <3 pt 1 - pt 2 - pt 3 - pt 4 - pt 5 - pt 6 - pt 7 - pt 8
Sleep crept closer, her mind drifting as the images it painted blurred with Percy’s face. He kept talking, but she wasn’t really listening. He didn’t seem to notice, very absorbed in showing off his new watch, he continued without pause.
His voice faded, dissolving into the background, and her senses seemed to abandon her. The only thing she was still aware of was the feeling of her own hand supporting her cheek as she unknowingly leaned into it, eyes closing slowly.
Unbeknownst to her, Percy had been smiling at her for several moments, watching her every movement with affection. When a soft snore escaped her lips, the watch was forgotten, discarded on the bed. He lingered, his hand almost reaching out to adjust her, wanting her to rest more comfortably and sleep peacefully until morning.
Yet his fingers moved instinctively to her chin, tenderly caressing it -hoping to wake her in the gentlest way he could. She stirred, grumbling, her head tilting down until the boy’s hand found its place on her forehead. Percy’s thumb brushed against a freckle he wouldn’t have noticed if he hadn’t been so close.
“Sleepy there, huh?” he asked softly. Lacking strength, she murmured a weak response. He smiled and swept her hair back from her forehead. “Want to sleep for a while?”
Her head dropped back onto his shoulder, but she shook it gently. “Mhm, I’ll stay up.”
“Yeah, sure. You're about to drift off on me. I’m fine with it, but maybe you could sleep on me...” he gestured toward the bed, “over there.”
She kept shaking her head, pushing herself with her hands on his shoulders until she was sitting up straight again. Her eyes were barely open, and he could see the telltale signs of exhaustion –her red cheeks, the weariness settling in her body, shrinking her down like a tired child.
But still, she wouldn’t sleep.
And he knew something wasn’t right.
“What’s wrong?” His voice was thick with worry, but she didn’t answer, her eyes focused on nothing. “Would you prefer your cabin? I know it’s usually cooler here-”
“Keep telling me about your watch.” She muttered, her voice sounded painfully tired.
“What? No, forget about it, you-”
“What's it made of?” She kept pretending not to hear any question, her head already dipping again.
“Okay, stop.” He was frustrated, his voice shaking. Once again, his hands went to her face (something he clearly liked doing) with a little more urgency. “Why don't you want to sleep? Is it because I didn’t wake you for dinner yesterday? I promise I’ll do it today.”
She chuckled faintly, but that laugh wasn’t genuine. She was masking something, he could tell. She knew she could talk to him about anything –he was the one person who didn’t judge–, but listening to her talk about her tiredness must have become exhausting for him.
He’d said it over and over: ‘I don't care,’ ‘I love you, sleepyhead and all,’ ‘I'd rather be by your side while you sleep than watch you suffer from staying awake.’
And yet, a small part of her refused to accept it. Loving someone like her just didn’t seem possible.
He studied her carefully, as if he could solve the mystery just by looking. It appeared to work, because when her lips briefly puckered into a pout and she blinked firmly, something stirred in his memory.
He replayed the remarks of the other campers, every hurtful joke about her, and all the doubts she struggled with. That time she was so terrified to meet his mother that she was on the verge of a panic attack resurfaced in his thoughts, fitting together like the pieces of a puzzle.
This was the last piece.
“Hey, dreamy.” Once more, his hands found its way to her neck, holding her head firmly to ensure she met his gaze.
He wouldn’t ask if she was fine; he knew she wasn’t. He wouldn’t ask what was bothering her; he already knew. At that moment, not much felt right.
“Something you wanna tell me?”
She was tempted to say nothing, but eventually spoke. “It annoys me that all I ever want to do is sleep. Like, it must be boring being with me.” A weak, tearful laugh escaped her as she heard herself, and she wiped her eyes quickly. “God, that sounds so ridiculous.”
“Yes, it does.” His voice was quiet as he brushed a stray lock of hair from her face.
A flicker of doubt crossed her mind. She feared he might have grown tired of her. Maybe he was just saying things to be kind.
But he kissed her forehead gently, a soft reassurance. “I don't see why that would bother you, or anyone else for that matter.”
“Percy-”
“I never planned on telling you this because it might sound... creepy.” He softly caressed her temples and she let out a small, honest laugh in return. “But ever since the first time you trusted me and fell asleep on my shoulder, observing you sleep has become my favorite pastime. Because as much as I enjoy hearing you talk, seeing your smile, and hearing your laughter…”
He leaned in close, their noses touching. One shift and their lips would meet, but he held back.
“I love even more seeing you at your most authentic. And I know it bothers you, I hear you; I just want you to know that it’s okay to take things at your own pace and listen to your body. It doesn’t mean you’re boring or lazy; it means you’re human –not fully, but you get it.”
She laughed softly, a sound that felt more like a sigh than anything else, and before she could think, she pulled him into a tight embrace. He held her back, his arms wrapping around her with a tenderness that was saved exclusively for her.
It was his way of showing her that he was there.
And she did; she knew he was there, to remind her she wasn’t alone and that she didn’t have to face things on her own. She knew things wouldn’t change –she would still struggle with how others saw her, with the weight of their opinions and her own–, and even though she had that comfort, something still felt broken inside her, a quiet ache she couldn’t escape.
“I don’t like myself so much.”
“We can fix that.”
He smiled gently, before picking her up effortlessly in his arms, holding her close as if she were something precious.
“For now, I can love you enough for both of us.”
guess who's on her period, touch starved, hungry, lonely, insecure, anxious, angry and seeking comfort (clue: it's me!)

Song #3
Song Prompt Challenge
If you cried out for more If you reached out for me I would run into the storm Just to keep you here with me
Warnings: none
Characters: Shanks x GnReader
It started like it always did with Shanks: a laugh, a drink, and that irresistible smirk that made it impossible to stay mad at him for long.
He had an uncanny ability to turn the most serious moments into a joke, disarming you with his charm and leaving you wondering how you’d fallen for him so hard.
Tonight was no different.
The Red-Haired Pirates had docked in a small, lively port town, the kind that catered to sailors and adventurers. The tavern was bustling, music and laughter filling the air.
You had tried to stay at the edge of the chaos, nursing your drink and pretending you weren’t scanning the room for that telltale shock of red hair.
But, of course, Shanks found you first.
“Hey there,” he greeted, sliding into the seat across from you with a grin that could melt steel. “Fancy seeing you here. Or did you miss me too much to stay away?”
You rolled your eyes, trying to suppress the smile tugging at your lips.
“Don’t flatter yourself, Shanks. I just happen to like this tavern.”
“Sure you do,” he teased, leaning back in his chair with that easy confidence. “And I just happen to like this table. Funny how life works, huh?”
You shook your head, unable to stop the laugh that escaped.
“You’re impossible.”
“Yeah, but you like me anyway,” he said, winking. It was maddening how easily he got under your skin.
But that was Shanks—carefree and irreverent, yet somehow always knowing exactly what to say to keep you from walking away.
As the night wore on, the two of you fell into the familiar rhythm of banter and stolen glances. Shanks was the life of the tavern, telling exaggerated stories and coaxing laughter from even the grumpiest patrons. Yet, despite the crowd, his attention never strayed far from you.
At some point, the conversation turned quieter, more intimate. The rowdy atmosphere of the tavern seemed to fade into the background as Shanks leaned across the table, his gaze locking onto yours.
“You know,” he said softly, “I’d do anything for you.”
You blinked, caught off guard by the sudden sincerity in his tone.
“Don’t start getting all sentimental on me now, Shanks,” you joked, though your voice wavered slightly.
“I’m serious,” he insisted, his smile softening. “If you cried out for more, if you reached out for me—I’d run into the storm just to keep you here with me.”
Your breath hitched at his words, the weight of them settling over you. Shanks wasn’t the type to make grand declarations, but when he did, you knew he meant every word.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you,” he continued, his voice quieter now. “You’ve got this way of grounding me, of reminding me what’s really important. And I don’t want to lose that. I don’t want to lose you.”
For once, you didn’t have a clever retort. Instead, you reached across the table, your hand brushing against his.
“You’re not going to lose me, Shanks,” you said firmly. “But you’ve got to promise me something.”
“Anything,” he said without hesitation.
“Promise me you won’t get yourself killed trying to prove something,” you said, your voice tinged with both affection and exasperation.
He chuckled, his thumb brushing over your knuckles.
“Can’t make any promises there, sweetheart. But I’ll always come back to you. That much, I swear.”
You rolled your eyes, but a small smile crept onto your lips.
“You’re impossible.”
“And yet, here you are,” he said with a grin.Shanks stood, pulling you to your feet with him.
“Come on,” he said, his tone lighter now. “Let’s get some air. I need a break from all this noise, and I think you do too.”
As he led you out of the tavern and into the cool night, you couldn’t help but feel a sense of calm settle over you. With Shanks, life was unpredictable and chaotic, but it was also full of moments like this—moments where the world seemed to stand still, leaving just the two of you.
And as he wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close, you realized you wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Chapter 7.3 - You Can't Go Home
As they filter off the train, the smell of iron gets further away and Akira finally begins to relax.
He asks her a ton of questions, partly because he's curious and partly because he wants to keep the focus off himself. Alice is in the middle of talking about her class when her body goes rigid.
Akira scans for a threat but comes up empty. Train stations are generally pretty clear of supernatural creatures, except low-level spellcasters and baby vampires at night. They aren’t much use when you can transportalate, turn into a bat, or run for miles in wolf form. And the fae avoid them altogether.
“You good?”
She flinches when he reaches for her hand. “I-I’m fine,” Her smile doesn’t quite reach her eyes. “Do you smoke? Weed, I mean, not cigarettes. I…I think I’m gonna smoke. Do you wanna come with me?”
“I thought you said you had to turn this assignment in,” he reminds her.
She stares across the platform, but he still can’t figure out what she’s looking at.
“I’ll do it later. And you don’t have to come. That was weird of me to peer pressure you,” her laugh comes out high-pitched and wrong, “You're probably busy. I’m good. I’m gonna go. And you’ll go, and I’ll just see you later.”
She's babbling and her hands are shaking. There is no universe where he just leaves her like this.
“Yeah, I smoke," he takes her hand and leads her to the exit. "And I got time. No classes, remember?”
Akira has been to the Commons a few times (for creeper reasons), but he's never climbed the tower. The air is especially crisp, but Alice doesn't seem bothered by it.
Despite resisting earlier, he finds himself wishing she would extract some promise from him—some commitment to keep him tied to her. It's a terrible idea. He knows better. Akira has always been careful not to break one of the rules he’d learned by brute force.
“This is a shit weed,” he coughs.
“Hey!” Alice playfully points an accusatory finger, “I invite you to my secret perch and share my paltry stash, and you insult me?”
“You need a new dealer if this is your stash.”
“And a new bank account!” She laughs. “Try to chillax, my dude; you are working against the medicinal benefits.”
He tries. His lungs fill, but it takes three more rounds of coughing before he evens out. Alice, meanwhile, is a professional. She barely coughs, though she's had twice as much as him. He's not even sure she's high.
"Why photography?" he asks when she joins him on the bench.
"Most of the time, I get asked about painting; no one even thinks about photography."
He shrugs, "Your focus isn’t Fine Arts. Why am I gonna ask you about something you don’t do? You want me to guess?" When she nods, he waves a hand across the sky, pretending to paint a picture. "Art lets you remake the world in a more pleasing image, which is kind of nice because the world is shit. But you do photography because you want the shitty stuff upfront. No lies. You'd rather tango with the truth."
She straightens, suddenly alert. "Maybe. Kind of. But photography is also lies. All you do when you snap a picture is capture a moment in time. You can still tell yourself a story about the emotion you saw or what really happened. It's just a different kind of lie from painting."
The weed is definitely kicking in, but he likes her explanation.
"So what are you studying?" she asks.
Direct questions are the hardest to dodge. Especially now when he feels like he’s floating a hundred feet in the air. "I'm studying nothing," he says honestly. "I just follow what interests me."
"Why?"
"Because I have a lot of time." Infinite, actually, if he kept his head attached to his body and didn't end up on the wrong side of a curse.
"If I had time, that's what I'd do too. And catch up on back seasons of 7 Wild Dates."
Akira laughs, "Stop. I changed my mind. That show is moving to the bottom of my watch list."
“Don’t be mean!” Alice sticks out her tongue, "That's quality programming you're missing."
They smoke more and talk about nothing, which feels like talking about everything because Alice leaps from topic to topic. She knows a little about a vast number of subjects, like knowledge for her is a series of wading pools and she's just hopping from one body of water to another.
It's how Akira operates too. Once he gets the gist of something, he's ready to move on.
“Tell me one thing about you so you can stop accusing me of hanging out with a stranger," she says, "Where are you from?”
A flash of pink sky.
A veil that never seems to part.
A home he can’t get back to.
The yearning is so real he jolts. “What if I told you that nothing about me or my life is what it seems? And because I don’t want to lie to you, you’re probably gonna find I won’t answer all your questions. Maybe any of them.”
Alice thinks for a minute. “I guess I’d say tell me what you can, not what you can’t.”
Akira wants to praise her wordplay. He wants to kiss her. He does neither.
“I love horror movies,” he confesses, “When I was like, 10, I snuck into the Moonlight Massacre Marathon at the theater downtown, and I was fuckin’ hooked.”
The whole story comes tumbling out, even the part about Titania being a little shit and ratting him out to their parents. Alice laughs and complains about her step-sibling, and Akira viciously guards every drop of information she shares with him.
“I like horror movies too. If I throw in Moonlight Massacre II, will that elevate 7 Wild Dates on your watch list?”
His phone buzzes with a reminder about tonight’s job. He gets to his feet. “Next time,” he tells her.
“You promise?”
A promise is a dangerous thing.
—A binding thing.
A vow.
No promises.
Akira nods, “Yeah, I promise.”

Metamy? Please 🥺?
(I'm curious how you would write these two as a couple!)
I always struggle to write purely romance, so here- have a drabble where Sonic points out the irony of Amy's choice in partner, for better or for worse.
Weird Pick, Don't You Think?
Sonic shrugged from his seat on the couch, before getting up and stretching his legs. “I mean, Ames, I’m glad that you stopped chasing me and found someone who gets you, but it still is just a little weird that you went for my copy instead.”
“He’s not a copy of you.” Amy replied.
“Metal Sonic. Sure. Whatever you say-”
“He’s not a copy! He’s his own person, and I won’t hear you talk that way about him anymore.” Amy snapped.
“You’re right, you’re right, I’m sorry.” Sonic stopped where he stood. “I didn’t mean to imply that he wasn’t. I’m glad he’s put the work in to have a personality outside of murder.”
“Good.” Amy crossed her arms.
“Still, you gotta admit, it is pretty funny that you ended up with-”
She stood from the couch. “Would you stop that?!”
“Woah, woah, seriously, I didn’t mean it that way.”
“Don’t you get it? He’s everything I wanted you to be!”
Sonic’s mouth snapped shut.
“He’s quiet and thoughtful and patient! He writes me poetry. He gets me roses because he knows I like them and sets up dinner dates to spoil me. He’s letting me teach him how to bake and even though he gets frustrated that he’s not good at it right away, he’s not overly competitive about everything all the time! He loves hearing me talk about my ‘girly stuff’ like clothes and tarot and he has so much patience with me whenever I get like, like,” she gestured to herself, “like this!”
Tears burned in the corners of her eyes when Sonic didn’t move, didn’t even blink in response.
He eventually pointed to the kitchen. “Want some water?”
“Well?” She replied.
“I’m sorry. For everything.”
“Except it’s not your fault that you’re not all that. You’re not all that. That’s not you.” Amy choked back her tears. “And it’s not fair for me to want that from you, so I found someone who could.”
Sonic looked at her, then to the door. But he didn’t run. “Yeah, yeah, I mean, I guess. . . that makes sense.”
“It’s not that you aren’t, aren’t like that at all, not that you don’t have patience because obviously you do because you’re still here even though I’m yelling at you.”
“Here, I’ll get us some water. Be right back, I promise.”
Three seconds later, he returned with two paper cups from Tails’ kitchen. He set one down on the coffee table. She picked it up and took a sip. She then took a deep breath.
“I’m sorry-”
“-I’m sorry.”
They paused and looked at each other.
“I’ll go first. I’m sorry. I’ll stop joking about it. I didn’t realize it bothered you so much.” Sonic said.
“Okay. And I’m sorry. You’re still my friend.”
“I’m glad.”
“But yeah, it was pretty rude. Thanks for the apology.”
He gave a small, close-lipped smile. “Honestly though, jokes aside, I’m really glad that you found someone who makes you happy.”
“Thank you.” She smiled in return.
Sonic once again glanced to the door, before pausing. “Do you want a perfectly platonic make-up hug?”
“Huh?”
“I know how much you like hugging our other friends, so if you want a hug, I’ll give you one?”
“Thanks, but, I also know how much you don’t like hugs. How about a handshake instead?”
He rubbed the back of his quills before extending his hand. She took it, and they shook.
“I can picture it already!” Sonic grinned. “The lovely bride, Amy, walking down the aisle. . .”
“Maybe not for a while yet. I don’t want to rush anything.”
“Amy Rose? Not rushing into a relationship?”
She playfully swatted his hand away. “Oh, stop that!”
They smiled at each other.
#amy rose#sonic the hedgehog#metamy#sort of an indirect discussion of metamy but metamy nonetheless#sonic and amy are good platonic buds#but like any friendship there can be some rough patches sometimes

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to those who celebrate lol
this took me forever APOLOGIES, writing is hard and my mental health is in rough waters. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME
Song inspired by this saucy song lol
Eustass "Captain" Kidd x fem!reader
public (kinda), fingering, dom!kidd, unprotected sex, penetration, dirty talk, strawhat reader. Reader provokes Kidd and he falls into the trap, yet he still has the upper hand.
masterlist here
word count: 1,577
He was always crude, obnoxious, aggressive. All qualities that you hated in men. And yet you couldn’t help yourself when it came to him. You were thankful to your captain for forming an alliance with the Kidd pirates. He didn’t know about your crush on their captain, and he didn’t need to know. Not that he would care. Emperor Straw Hat Luffy didn’t care as long as his crew was happy. And boy were you happy that you got to be close to Eustass “Captain” Kidd. You just wanted him to get closer to you. You hated making the first move and you were determined to get him to move first.
Luffy had found out that the Kidd Pirates were on the same island and he wanted to go “hang out” with his “friend.” And you were tasked to accompany him alongside Zoro to make sure he didn’t get in any trouble. You put on the most flattering red dress. You loved the way the fabric hugged and clinged to your body. It made you look good enough to eat. And that’s exactly what you wanted. Zoro glanced at you as the two of you followed your loud and excited captain.
“Aren’t you a little overdressed for this?” He asked, turning his gaze back to the straw hat captain. “Well if all goes well, hopefully I’ll end up underdressed.” You joked. You were good friends with Zoro, him and Robin were the only ones in the crew that knew about your thing for Captain Kidd. He chuckled under his breath at your comment. “Just don’t do anything too stupid. We promised Nami we wouldn’t get into trouble.”
"We promised Nami we wouldn’t let Luffy get into trouble. I never promised anything.” You stuck out your tongue, teasing.
“OI! JAGGY!” Luffy yelled out as he approached Kidd’s ship, prompting the fiery-red haired pirate to walk out. “What d-ya want?!” He yelled back. Luffy stretched out his arms and launched himself onto the ship. In the midst of the chaos, Kidd glanced in your direction. His eyes almost immediately shooting away. He was taken aback by how good you looked and he didn’t want it to show. You watched him as he and Luffy argued. You climbed aboard the ship, making sure you were behind Zoro. You were close but you weren’t “Look at my ass in this dress” close.
Once on the ship, you sauntered over to greet Eustass Kidd. He refused to look at you, not wanting you to see how visibly flustered he was at the sight of you in that dress. “Hello Captain Kidd. Been a while” You smiled. “Yeah.” Kidd was short with you. Zoro scoffed, walking away muttering about finding alcohol. You turned to Luffy, who was about to scurry away after the smell of food coming from the kitchen. “We were uh- about to have dinner. Do ya want to-” Kidd was cut off by Luffy sprinting away, all he needed was the notion of a green light.
Kidd continued to avoid eye contact with you, wouldn’t even look in your direction. “You’re quiet… And nice. What the fuck is your deal?” You asked him. “No I’m not. What are you talking about?” He was defensive, yet still wouldn’t look at you. “You totally are. Have you gone soft on me Captain Kidd? That’s no fun.” You wanted to provoke him. You wanted him angry. “I’m not soft, shut it.”
It was working.
“Really?” You stepped closer to him. “Because it looks like you’re being a welcoming host.” You laughed. “Shut your whore mouth” Kidd said under his breath, loud enough for you to hear. “What was that?” You placed a hand on his shoulder, he tensed beneath your touch for a moment. “I couldn’t hear your soft voice.” You chuckled. He grabbed onto your wrist, turning his body to face you. “Shut the fuck up.” His stature was intimidating on its own, he towered over you. And yet you weren’t scared of him. You were excited. His hand had a firm grip on your wrist, keeping you in place. You wanted to keep poking the bear to see how far he would go. “And what if I don’t shut up? What are you gonna do about it?” You raised an eyebrow, challenging him.
He smiled at you. He pulled you closer to him, you could feel the heat radiating off his body. “Do what I say and we can have a nice peaceful dinner between both our crews. Shut it.” His voice had dropped down, almost a growl. You stood up on your toes to get slightly closer to his face.
“Make me.”
His smile turned into a devilish grin. He pulled you to the back of the ship. Once you were far enough away from the rowdy crew in the midst of dinner, he put one hand up your dress. You gasped at the sudden contact of his fingers against your bare skin. “Gotta be quiet unless you wan’ em to find us like this.” He smiled. “And no panties? You had a plan didn’t ya?” He chuckled, grazing his fingers softly over your clit. A small moan escaped your lips and he placed a hand over your mouth.
“Shhh. If you want it that bad you have to listen to me and shut the fuck up.”
You looked up at him and nodded. Your confident persona dropping as soon as you felt his warm hands on your skin. His body pressed up against yours while he teased you. He coated his fingers in your slick before pushing two up inside you. You bit your lip as you moaned into his hand softly. He was moving them in an agonizingly slow pace, torturing you as you were desperate for more. “You look so good like this. Fuck, ya wore this red dress to get me worked up huh?” Kidd’s voice was low and gravely, his eyes had dilated with lust. You felt foggy, intoxicated with the feeling of his fingers inside you. It took everything in you to look directly into his eyes, remove his hand from your mouth, and speak. “It worked though. You’re so easy.”
He chuckled. Slipping his fingers out and licking them clean before he picked you up with his metal arm, allowing you to wrap your legs around his waist. You yelped as he did so. “I’m easy? You’re the one dripping wet in anticipation bitch.” He whispered in your ear as he used his free hand to undo his pants. His dick was bigger than you had anticipated, you felt it as Kidd pushed the tip in a little. You gasped, bracing yourself.
“I’m gonna fuck you so hard you’re not going to be able to walk.” He spoke in a soft growl. He kissed your neck roughly, leaving traces of his lip paint behind. He moaned against your skin as he pushed more of himself inside you slowly. “You’re so fucking tight” His breath tickled you. You felt him stretch you. It was deliciously painful, you found yourself gripping his hair tightly, earning a hiss of pleasure from him. Kidd pushed himself in more and more, allowing for little moments of adjustments. He was waiting for you to get used to him before fucking you as violently as he had promised.
Once he was entirely inside, he gave no warning before pulling his dick out and ramming it back inside. A loud moan escaped from your lips, forcing you to bite his shoulder to muffle the sound. You felt his dick twitch inside you as you bit down. Kidd’s pace was aggressive and fast. You could barely see as you bounced with every thrust. Your vision had gone blurry. The air filled with the sound of crashing waves, your muffled moans, Kidd’s grunts, and his skin slapping against yours. He nipped at your skin, running his tongue over the sensitive skin. You felt electricity course all over your body as the knot in your stomach got tighter and tighter, the two of you desperately chasing that high.
Your walls were getting tighter around him. Kidd was putting all his attention on making sure you came before him. He wrapped a hand in your hair, pulling you off his shoulder. He looked into your eyes hungrily for a brief moment before kissing you. His kiss was passionate and wet. His tongue entered your mouth with no permission, it felt soft against yours. You closed your eyes, feeling every part of your body catch fire as you reached your orgasm. You tightened around him as you threw your head back and rode out your climax. Quickly he pulled himself out and painted your dress with his cum.
He sets you down on the floor, your knees betraying you as they are too weak to keep you up. He sits next to you and sees what he did to your dress. “Oh shit, sorry.” He chuckles, ripping off the fabric on the bottom of his shirt and using that to clean your dress up as best as he could. You giggle at the somewhat sweet gesture. “Just give me some of your clothes and we’ll call it even” “What if straw hat says somethin?” He asked genuinely before realizing who he was talking about. “Nah, he’s too stupid to notice.” He laughed and helped you up, guiding you to his room to pick out clean clothes.

Boxer!Sukuna who makes you kiss his gloves before his match for good luck.
Masterlist
-•-
His team had left the locker room and it was just the two of you now. You were sitting on a bench while he organized his bag. “I didn’t know you got so many freebies from your sponsorships.” In your hand, was a brand new boxing shoe that he received from UnderArmor for a sports shoot campaign.
“Eh, they’re not really what I need in the actual matches but I use them during training cause I don’t wanna waste ‘em.” He mumbled. He seemed to be more on edge than usual. During his last match, he lost by a landslide, having a sour taste in his mouth from the experience. He blamed you because you weren’t there to kiss his glove prior to the match.
You turn to look at him staring down at his gloves.
“Sukuna.”
“Yeah?” He turned to look at you. No smiles, just a deadpan expression. You walked towards him and held his face in your hands. You could tell he was nervous about the fight even though he had won so many before.
“Honey, what’s on your mind?” Your voice was sincere and comforting for him. “What if I’m in a slump? My last match was so bad. I’ve never lost like that. What if I’m on a losing streak now?”
You get on your tippy toes and kiss his cheek. “Sukuna, you’ve worked hard have you not?” He nods. “And you feel like you’ve trained well this time.” He nods again. “Then why are you so worried? Is it because you were distracted last time?”
He sighs and wraps his arms around you, burying his head in your neck in the process. “Look, I don’t know if you think it’s weird but when I see you outside the ring, I feel like I have a reason to win. It drives me to fight better. I had a really shitty day last time and when I didn’t see you I just didn’t feel like giving my all.”
Your heart felt like it was being torn to pieces after seeing your husband sulk. “I just felt burnt out. I was hoping that once I saw you then I’d feel better.”
You hugged him tighter and kissed his shoulder. “I’m sorry, Sukuna, I promise I’ll never do that again.” You start rubbing your hand up and down his back in hopes to calm him down right before his match.
“Kiss my gloves for me?” He asks as he pulls away. You nod. He takes his boxing gloves out and places them in your hands. You leave a delicate kiss on each of them, your gloss leaving a small sparkly stain. He takes them from your hand and kisses them on the same spots as you did, maintaining eye contact with you throughout. “You’re my good luck charm, you know that?” He says as he strokes your head.
You show him a teethy grin and nod.
“And you’re mine.” Your reply made him smash his lips to yours. “I’ll be sure to win now that you’re here.” He mumbled against your lips.

///
“Wade, hurry up and let me in! A girl can only hold freshly popped popcorn for so—oh.”
Instead of your dear, annoying friend, it’s his gorgeous, rugged roommate who answers the apartment door instead. Your eyes sweep over him, taking a liking to how his brown plaid button-up drapes over his white tank top. His clothing choices compliment his sturdy frame and strong pecs. His facial hair is perfectly groomed and—
And it doesn’t help that you have just the teeniest, tiniest crush on him.
“Logan, hey!” you exclaim, a little too enthusiastically. “I didn’t know you were going to be here for movie night too.”
“Wade’s not here, bub,” Logan says, leaning against the doorframe with crossed arms and a sympathetic half-smile.
“What?! That little shit said he’d be free tonight…” You sigh, shaking your head. “Well, it’s all good. I’ll just—”
“Did you want to watch a movie with me instead?” Logan offers. You think you hear a hint of hopefulness in his voice. “Since you came out all this way?”
Your eyebrows shoot up. “Oh, I wouldn’t want to bother you. I’m sure you’re—”
“Darlin’,” he interrupts with a soft chuckle. Your heart stumbles at the sound. “I have never been more free on a Saturday night. You’re welcome to join me, but only if you’re comfortable with it.”
Now your heart is melting over his kindness. You smile warmly. “I always feel comfortable around you, Logan.”
He returns the smile and gestures for you to come in, offering to take the popcorn and if you want anything as you remove your shoes.
“I got it, but thank you. A beer would be good,” you reply, settling in on one end of the couch in the living room. You glance around curiously. “Is Blind Al not home either?”
“Yeah,” Logan calls from the nearby kitchen, bending towards the open fridge to grab the drinks. “She’s getting, in her own words, ‘turned up’ at the casino tonight.”
You snicker as you browse through streaming services to pick a movie for tonight. Logan returns with a beer in each hand and you’re surprised when he takes the middle seat next to you. You catch a whiff of his scent and it is intoxicating–a blend of woody notes, perhaps leather and pine.
“So what’s the movie for tonight?” Logan asks, taking a sip from his bottle.
“Well, be honest with me here: Wade promised that we could watch this new movie that just released a few days ago, but it’s a romantic movie, so—”
“Of course,” he cuts in with a roll of his eyes, tossing a kernel into his mouth. “That’s his favourite genre.”
You deflate a little. “Okay, with that tone, I’m assuming I will have to change the movie choice.”
“No! Don’t change it because of me,” Logan quickly interjects. “We can watch whatever you want. I’m genuinely content to just sit here and do something other than watching reruns I’ve seen a million times before.”
You study him for a moment, trying to gauge his sincerity. “Are you sure?”
“I’m sure,” he reassures you, nodding and flashing another smile. You will yourself to calm your racing heart and focus on finding the movie. Once you select it, you press play and relax into the couch cushions.
Out of nowhere, Logan places his arm around you, his hand slightly hovering above your shoulders. You stiffen at the unexpected move, unsure why he’s doing it. But then he quickly pulls back, shuffling a bit away from you.
“Shit, sorry,” he mutters, clearly embarrassed. “It’s out of habit when I watch stuff.”
“You can leave your arm there,” you blurt out. You don’t even register the words coming out of your mouth. Where was this boldness coming from?
He quirks an eyebrow, amused. “Yeah?”
“Mm-hmm,” you nod fervently, rushing to grab your beer to steady your nerves. Taking a long sip, you try to force your body to relax again.
The first few minutes of the movie starts quite slow, but your eyes are glued to the screen to ensure you don’t miss the exposition. Just as you reach for the popcorn, so does Logan, and the back of your hands brush against each other.
“Sorry,” you both mumble, glancing at each other in awkwardness and something hanging in the air. He juts his chin out with a subtle smirk, gesturing you to go first. You grab a handful, and as he follows suit, his fingers graze against yours, causing you to shiver.
The air in the room is electric, and you wonder if the tension is just in your head or if Logan feels it too. The movie continues, but your thoughts are consumed by the warmth of his body so close to yours and the possibility of what might happen next.
Later into the movie, you freeze as you feel Logan leaning in closer. You turn your head, ready for what might happen–
But then, he goes completely lax, slouching into your shoulder and resting his head in a comfortable position.
“I should’ve chosen a different movie…” you think, shaking your head.
It’s hard to focus on the movie with this gorgeous being asleep on your shoulder (and the movie doesn’t seem to be that great anyway). Towards the end of the movie, your attention drifts completely and you indulge in how Logan sleeps. His soft snoring. The gentle squeezes he gives your shoulder as he dreams. The steady rise and fall of his chest as he breathes in and out.
Suddenly, Logan stirs and lifts his head, almost snorting up air cutely. He blinks groggily. “Oh, shit. I’m sorry, gorgeous. Did I sleep through the movie?”
You hesitate, hung up on the fact that he called you gorgeous. Your cheeks prickle as you search for the right words to say.
“Yeah, you did,” you whisper with a small smile. “But it’s fine. It wasn’t that great anyway.”
“Mm, figures,” he mumbles. “Did you wanna watch another movie or—”
As he straightens up, you instinctively lean towards him, closing the gap between you two. Your noses practically touch.
“Or did you wanna do…” Logan’s voice is low and gravelly. You hold your breath and hold his gaze. “...something else?”
You barely nod, and he drags you into a searing kiss. His hands cup your cheek and neck with urgency. Soon enough, his tongue dips into your mouth, sending a jolt to your core.
Logan cradles your body and carefully positions you lower onto the couch. The weight of his body pressed up against you sends you into overdrive. His hands dive underneath your shirt, exploring your soft skin. The pressure of his body against yours leaves you breathless. Not only the pressure of his body, but also his—
“Winner winner, chicken dinner!”
Wade’s booming voice cuts through the front door like a tornado, forcing both of you to scramble away faster than opposing magnets. However, it’s too late; Wade has witnessed everything.
“Oh, my God, Blind Al, my plan worked! It fucking worked!” Wade squeals, jumping up and down.
“Oh, no. Are they butt-ass naked on the couch? Times like these, I’m grateful to be blind.”
“No, they’re thankfully fully clothed. But they were just dry humping the shit out of each other though.”
“You ditched movie night on purpose, you asshole!” you screech.
“Hey, you should be thanking me,” Wade retorts with a wink. “You and Wolvie always have had palpable sexual tension every time you were in a room together. Hell, even Laura agreed it’d be a good idea to set you two up.”
Logan and you exchange a sheepish smile, acknowledging the truth in Wade's words.
“Blind Al and I will just be basking in our casino winnings with a few drinks and then we’ll be out of your hair in a few. And then you two can carry on and fuck each other freely on the couch.”
“But keep it down, please,” Blind Al adds with a hint of desperation.
“I probably should get going now,” you chime in, eager to avoid the awkwardness. Logan quickly follows behind, walking you to the front door.
“I’m sorry about all this,” he says in sincerity.
You wave him off. “You never have to apologize for them. They’re like family; I’m used to them.”
“I didn’t know where the night was heading, but—” He turns around to check over his shoulder, lowering his voice and leaning in slightly. “—I’m glad Wade set us up.”
“Heard that!” Wade calls out from inside the apartment.
“Damn it,” Logan mutters, making you giggle. “Anyways, would you let me take you out on a proper date tomorrow night?”
You beam as you reply, “I’d love that.”
Great, I’ll call you later.”
Logan steps outside of the apartment and closes the door behind him, pulling you in by your waist for another kiss. Innocent at first, but then he presses you up against the wall and his hands grips at your waist, extracting a few moans from you.
“Either get back inside or just go home with her rather than wall-fucking her outside of the apartment!” Wade’s muffled voice echoes through the thin walls.
Logan retreats slightly, his breath warm against your cheek. He keeps his voice low. “And not trying to put pressure on our date tomorrow, but if—”
“If things get heated, let’s go back to my place,” you finish his thought with a soft promise.
His eyes light up with a relieved smile. “You read my mind. Thank you.”
You smile into one last kiss, the world fading away as you savor the sensation of Logan’s mouth on yours.
Until Wade pops his head out through the door like a whack-a-mole you’re dying to hit. “Okay, seriously. I will offer you my bedroom, if you’re really that horny, you guys.” He calls out your name. “Also, did you know he can smell how horny you are?”
“I—what?” you stammer, blinking in confusion.
“Wade, shut the fuck up,” Logan snaps with gritted teeth. He faces you again with a gentle smile. “Have a good night, gorgeous. I’ll call you as soon as you get back home.”
Logan’s a man of his word, almost calling immediately as you stepped foot in your apartment (with Wade providing unnecessary commentary in the background, as always).
Later, as you get ready for bed, you can’t help but admit how grateful you were for Wade’s set-up. If it wasn’t for him, neither of you would’ve made a move; it would’ve progressed at a glacial pace.
Lying in bed and looking up at your bedroom ceiling, you think to yourself how tonight truly was perfect, and you wouldn’t have had it any other way. Smiling, you drift off to sleep, dreaming of what tomorrow’s date might bring.
