hi anon, i am!! i'm super behind on writing etc due to a week from hell in terms of uni deadlines (also why i didn't finish sleeping buck in november rip) but i will be finishing and posting my small town fic this month, i pinky promise! i hope to have the first chapter done tomorrow, but here's another little peek:

But Eddie’s also always been told to let his sisters decorate the tree, because they liked that kind of thing more than he did. His hot chocolates would grow cold because he was too busy to drink it, and while his sisters watched holiday movies, Eddie was running errands. Eddie was never allowed to sing along to Christmas songs because his mother had a headache. Eddie got tool kits and shoes under the tree, not toys or books or fun things. Eddie spent three Christmases in the desert, lonely and tired and scared. Eddie spent last Christmas alone with his grieving son in their cold, dark, sad shell of a house. Christmas is fun. Eddie loves Christmas. Christmas just doesn’t seem to love him very much.

I’ve been really inspired over the last year or so to try an learn to do digital art. So a few months ago I got myself an IPad and spent some time learning how to use Procreate and following tutorials to get some basic knowledge on how to draw digitally.

So here’s the thing that I’ve drawn on my own (though I did use some references to help me figure out how to get the shape right)

I’m a big Pokémon fan and Chikorita is my absolute favourite of all. I figured it would be something easy enough for me to draw for my first attempt. And Chikorita’s such a cutie, how could I not pick it.

May be a moot point since I’m just a beginner but please no one steal and repost my art.
