Mmm so just like I suspected my caps came out clean again but my roots had some messy bits below the surface :/ onto attempt 3
#apparently the first cracks from a fucked up restart while the second is a bit of slag#so I need to take my time on these restarts AND clean my weld a bit better from here on#otherwise everything else I did was good!#I noticed that making my gap slightly wider than the rod before welding my plates together helps a lot#so theres that + putting my machine on 80 even will keep my rod from getting too hot and melting the gap#which also makes restarts harder bc if the gap melts then I have to hover over it longer which just#idk Im ramblin back to work#mag.txt
