The piercers keep reminding and recommending that I don't sleep on my side for at least another 3 months

But (to use the Tumblr phrase) I sleep like a rotisserie chicken

They suggest using like an airplane travel pillow thing but I still can't really see how that will help

We've managed to save the helix pericing but the lobe one healed over in like. Less than 12 hours. So I have to wait a couple weeks to heal fully and then repierce and start from scratch on that one.

#My life #My posts #Using Tumblr as a diary #I will say though #The fact that I've needed repeated check ins on healing progress definitely adds to the benefit of having gone to professional piercers #I never understood women who claimed beaty is pain etc #But man now I'm actually pursing a Gender Presentation #There sure is some work and money involved #I remain disappointed in the doc martins though #I was promised rugged and long lasting and repairable #Instead I get stuck with vanity boots that can't be worn for extended periods or distances #I want to go back to hiking shoes for all occassoons #But I've started trying out more skirts and shorts things and one of the things the docs were supposed to be was #Something to wear with skirts that didn't look silly the way trainers do #Oh well
