I HATE HATE HATE the common fandom hc of Yakou being a father figure to Yuma or the whole NDA or to any character. Yeah, the first holidays without Mom… it’s rough.

I’m sure I’ll spend it with my nephews. Trying to find some sort of remote enjoyment out of it or at least just not be a mess for their sake by extension helps me quite a lot as well. Plus they’re going through some shit too that they shouldn’t be having to deal with on top of missing grandmama… so I think at this point everybody just kind of needs each other.

I’m doing ok. As months have passed, the grief has become far less suffocating. But it’s still a journey. There’s still many ups and downs. And I miss my brother. But he’s made his harmful choices, so I had to make mine and walk away. And ironically, on that front — I found that removing toxicity opened up for a lot of amazing things to start happening.

As more things fall into place in my career, the more exciting yet bittersweet everything feels. So it’s difficult — but hopeful. And there are still some really bad days, but there’s more “ok” days than bad ones at this point, so that’s progress. But grief isn’t linear, so sometimes I’ll have a couple weeks straight of feeling pretty much like a normal person going about my life, and then BAM. Full on breakdown and wanting nothing more than a hug from my mom or whatever, and a sense of disbelief that this can’t be real, that she’s really gone. Even now, 7+ months later.

But I’m doing as I always do… I’m surviving. I’m just staying focused on my nephews, my career, therapy, and my best friends/found family, etc.

My name is Hamdy Al zinaty ,a pharmacist living in Gaza. My wife, Zahr is a hard working pharmacist with a master degree in pharmaceutical science. We were rising our beautiful kids in a warm house in Gaza, but the unstoppable horrendous bombardments took that away from us and took any hope for any type of life in Gaza.

Following several nights of heavy bombardments of Gaza, we were forced to evacuate from our house and as many other people, we had to look for refugee in Rafah. As a father of five beautiful children, khaled (13 yrs), Mohammed (12 yrs), Nabil (8yrs), Jawad (3yrs) and Dana (1year), I found myself trapped in this never ending war, forced to live in a tent without the basic necessities. We are living of scraps of canned food, and lack any type of healthy food, or medicine. This war has left us with nothing, bodies without souls . As parents we are heart broken that we can't provide for ourselves or our children.  The air is full if dust from the bombards , the smell of sewage water is worse, because of the hot temperatures. My children are constantly sick , because of the toxic environment we live in .

Our apartment has been partially destroyed, our memories and dreams are fading everyday. Not only that but we also lost our income.

My kids are no longer able to live normal lives , like other kids. They are unable to have any type of education, or future.

I am overwhelmed, and I am asking for your support, to help me, evacuate my family from the Rafah borders to Egypt 🙏🥺.

@pepperpottes IDK if this will help with the perfectionism at all but it's something I'm trying with myself.

I learned perfection through my need to people please due to the environments I grew up in. For me, it was first bring abused physically, being put into the system, living in a children's group home, all three put into one foster family for a year, toxic stuff went down, then put into one foster family and sister and I split up from our older sister (this was long before she transitioned so she was still living as and seen as an almost 18 year old boy and this was long before I transitioned so I was see living as and seen as a young girl), lived closer to him so that was good but separation still a lot for 9 and 11 year old. (Our older sis was 13 at the time.) Then we get adopted and moved to a different state. Adoption plus move from foster family of 3 years and older sister who didn't get adopted but rather aged out. Then adoptive family was super toxic and controlling and emotionally abusive. Then mental issues found out and navigated but with parents only willing to do so much of what therapist said. Then many other things into adulthood even till the last few years.

I bring all the above up to show that for us perfectionists with the need to people please in the hopes that our efforts will be seen and appreciated and acknowledged, we have to really sit down and catalog and take stock of all the points in our life where we learned that behavior and work on using the knowledge we now have to dispute and discredit the learned survival beliefs that told us we had to aim for perfection and keep everyone happy in order for our lives to be good and is to be safe and happy.

IDK if any of this resonates with you but if it does, try sitting down and doing what I mentioned in the paragraph above. It may help you in getting a little better at the invasive phenomenon that is perfectionism. Lol.

thank god someone pointed it out cuz i'm here sitting behind my keyboard just waiting for someone to acknowledge y/n's toxic side. she's not perfect and everyone does something wrong with bad intentions at some point in their lives. i didn't want to make her perfect, to always be the victim in this story, i wanted to put her in the wrong as well because that's what humans are; we make mistakes and we make bad decisions. namjoon reacting badly would be the obvious and normal reaction and he's in the right for that. his brother, the only family member that loved and took care of him, was used against him by someone he once trusted and loved. and y/n knew what she was doing from the very beginning, the information on her brother was her bargaining chip upon namjoon agreeing to join her side and help her out when she needs his power. she also knew that one day the truth would come out.

it's unfortunate it has to happen as she's slowly recovering from the london incident but no matter what she's been through, it doesn't excuse her from hurting others. y/n was in the wrong here and that's just a fact

- obvious pansexual, has been living her whole life in a "bubble" called Hawkins Lab, so knows nearly nothing about life, not mentioning sexuality... but since the time passed, she managed to learn more about herself and discover herself ! She found out that she's attracted to any gender... without having preferences 👀 was introduced to the world with heteronormativity (mostly by gay Mike who was still in closet, proceeding due to compulsive heterosexuality) so at first it may look like (and she also thought like that) her preference is masculinity, but as soon as her obsession around Mike faded away, she was able to date people regardless of their gender!

- a textbook example of lesbian that thinks she's bi, or a lesbian that started her "lesbian trip" with "being bi". Me as a lesbian who thought that I was bi at first, relate to Max sm, really. Let's get back to Johnatan's sexuality and background! He has tried dating both girls and boys, however is still opened to another people! I guess in 80s a knowledge about sexualities and gender identities wasn't very developed, so he's just open-minded to other people, but isn't attracted to all genders, rather to MULTIPLE of them without any specific preferences! As I said before, he's still exploring his sexuality what means that still tries to date different kinds of people regardless their gender identity- if someone catches his eye, he just goes for them^^

-is actually a canon lesbian, so I don't feel the necessity to give yall justification- we all just know that she's a lesbian😌 I'd like to rather focus on what kind of lesbian she is! To start with, she's totally " I could be a better boyfriend than him" type of lesbian, I mean, just look at her! She has always known that she's a lesbian, she even didn't doubt that fact! Probably has either supportive or unconcerned about her personal life type of parents, so she doesn't face speeches from them, at least about her being lesbian... Not only mentioned earlier compulsive heterosexuality caused his being closeted, but also toxic and homofobic father and traumatic childhood:( its hard for him that he must be in the closet, but he's aware that he simply cannot be out now, at least until he still lives in Hawkins🤷‍♀️ however, he seems like he wouldn't come out anyway, even if he lived somewhere else (without his father ofc), because of his hardcoded internal homofobia. Is that type of gay who is homofobic and homosexual at once. Compliments boys and calls girls cows and who***... but is still homofobic... what a hypocrite!😒 would have killed to be openly gay, because the pressure that he puts on himself is killing him🔪 another example of tragic character who can't be truly himself because of external and internal factors:(

- we don't know much about her, but gives vibes of being bisexual ✨ 😌 experienced relationships with both girls and boys, is that kind of a femme bisexual, drives both girls and boys crazy... but mostly girls rhhrhr. Is thought to be homosexual, but is bisexual. Even her parents thought that she's a lesbian until she brought Billy home and introduced him as her bf 🙈 sporty bisexual, did I mention that... ah, yeah, I've already mentioned that she drives girls crazy 🥴 looks like she's bi into girls and... yeah, she IS bi into girls! Would have probably ended up having a gf if she wasn't flayed by mind flayer 🥲

Hopper

- is thought to be str8 and also gives str8 vibes, but is bisexual in real! Was dating both girls and boys in her teenage years, but almost every time treated relationships with boys as temporary. ALMOST every time, remember! In fact, liked going to bed with boys even a little more than with girls... but when it comes to being romantic, he did better with girls. His life was so cruel to him, that he stopped caring about his relationships, events with Sara had the hugest impact on that:( it took him some time to heal that open wounds and to go on. As an adult and also chief of Hawkins police, he had to keep his sexuality a secret. Was meeting with both women and men in his little house beside the woods 🪵, mostly for hook ups. Tries his best to go on, but it isn't that simple, especially when strange things happen in Hawkins👀 Was a bad boy in his teenage age, was smoking cigarettes with his BFF Joyce and was hiding with it hahaha. Kind of casanova, everyone wanted to make-out with him, so did he. Indeed was a bad boy, but very protective and loving at the same time! If he truly LIKED (Not just for making out) someone, he was fighting for them!

Joyce

-that bisexual bad girl from your school. Gives vibes of polysexual, but has never tried dating different gender people, so assumes that is bisexual. Was smoking with Hopper and talking about girls and boys at the same time. Dated both girls and boys, lesbians were crazy about her, really 😳 sexy and pure at the same time, quickly caught up feelings for people, what caused her many problems and misunderstandings:( always tries her best, but is very unlucky when it comes to serious relationships... *stares angrily at Loonie, sadly at Bob*... it doesn't matter if she dates woman or man, she has a kind of bad fate and I require justice for Joyce🙏 Anyways, super hot outside, super pure inside, maybe if that one girl she truly loved wasn't such scared of being in a relationship with a girl, they would be happy now... Joyce deserved so much better treatment from life 😪 😔

Karen

- same as her daughter, kind of repressed lesbian who thinks that she's bisexual because of dating... and marrying a man 😑 I feel like she was also raised in a typical nuclear family so she was also expected to continue that scheme, and she did so:( But let's get back to her teenage years! She was a crypto lesbian dating boys, imaging that boys she dated kissed were girls. Experienced internal homofobia due to compulsive heterosexuality, social pressure and family expectations. The very feminine lesbian, wearing skirts and dresses, having her hair done and slight makeup emphasising her beauty 💋 looks soft and innocent but is an owner of dirty mind 👀 liked going to the girls bathroom in school only to stare and admire girls' beauty. Left the woman of her life because of being scared if stigma. Ended up as a mother of free and wife of a rich man from a prosperous family only because she wasn't a rebel and obeyed the rules. Another example of tragic lesbian character who has her life ruined by the society:(

- is that omnisexual teacher who is very supportive, accepting and can date literally anyone, but still has some preferences ! His queer students have trust in him, they can come to him and talk to about anything and they know that they will be always heard and listened to! Especially when it comes to the topic of being queer and socially unaccepted:( he understands them very well- he also faces some stigma because of his being omni and dating any gender :( while being a teenager he was that super smart queer nerd. Everyone has thought that he was aroace, but he was just focused on his studies so much that he didn't bother crushing anybody... or at least has been doing so secretly 🤫 maybe even he was secretly DATING another nerd from his school, but was so good at keeping it secret, that nobody knew about 🤫

Holly

-just joking, she's still a child! But I wouldn't be surprised if she came out as queer in the future dhhdhd so as her mom, sister and brother- just genes🧬🧬

Ted

- he is that one gay who had been hurt by another guy that badly, that he decided he will never start a relationship with a boy again (yes, even if he is homosexual). He knew that he will never be happy with a woman, but decided to choose lesser evil than being disinherited by his family and probably be hurt again by another guy. So he started his nuclear family, fulfilled his parents' expectations but on the other hand, made himself and his wife hopelessly unhappy and unsatisfied with their marriage and lives. Of course, they both love their children, but they have never loved each other 💔 As a teenager he secretly dated boys, made out with them in the school's changing room and slept with them while his parents were away from home 🏡 since he has married Karen, he constantly mopes in his lazy boy chair and almost does nothing else:/

Murray

- that gay, who doesn't have to do anything to prove that he's gay- he looks gay, speaks gay, walks gay and does everything gay 🤷‍♂️ yells at everyone that is aroace, but the truth is that he just doesn't want to show around that he's gay and it is safer for him to keep telling that he's aroace- yes, he's so gay that he even doesn't want to pretend that he's str8. As a teenager he openly dated boys and didn't give a fck about what do people think and say about him- his middle finger was used very often. He started to keep saying that is aroace when he became middle-aged and well-known journalist- it was just more convenient for him to imitate aroace than to be open with his homosexuality in the journalist society🤷‍♂️ however, no one believes him- everyone knows that he's gay anyway 🤷‍♂️

-that nerdy soft gay, who would never come out because of the danger that he might get killed while working for government in Russia:( eventually he could do so when he was in US, but we all know that his life ended tragically ;( however, was crushing boys and secretly dated some of them, but while being a teenager. Later on he focused on his studies and even didn't have a free time for himself, let alone for boyfriend 🤭 smol, pure and soft type of gay, needs to be protected and loved by his bf 🥰

911 Lone Star Season 4 - My Thoughts

Oh hey tumblr, it's me! I've had this idea in my head for a while and thought that since most of my tumblr following is Spam-bots and inactive/deleted accounts (There's a few of you who are still active, so heyyy thanks for still following me!) that I would do my first one on Tumblr. I would love to start Youtube channel, but I still feel a bit shy.

I used to write a lot! If you have been following my blog since, geez, 2012 you know that. Unfortunately, I have been in a very long period of writers block. I'm hoping getting creative ideas on the page will help me start to write again.

The idea I have is to explain what I would want to see happen, or what I would do if I was one of the story writers of some of my favorite shows upcoming seasons. Or even what I think will be happening in these upcoming seasons. I hope this makes sense lol!

The first show I want to deep dive into has been my hyper-fixation show for the past several months (thanks @iboatedhere 🤣). I mean, I have watched the first three seasons of this show maybe 15 times at this point! I just found out a couple weeks ago that they have started production for season 4, and I am so excited to see what is in store! Of course the show I am talking about is 911 Lone Star!

This man annoys me 10/10 so I hope we see him continue to go to therapy.

I really enjoyed the storyline they gave us at the end of season 3 with Owen returning to California to say goodbye to his father.

I could see the half-brother doing the same thing, coming to Austin trying to connect to his father's past. I also love that irl the actor playing Owen's half-brother is Rob Lowe's brother. That is cool!

Owen telling TK about his past. Does TK know he's named after Owen's brother?

I want Owen and Catherine back together - I know they're toxic af, but I love two type-A characters bouncing off each other!

TK/Carlos (they're together because their relationship is a main storyline)

Role reverse with Carlos? Carlos gets injured, and TK is at the bedside.

Here's how I would do it: Carlos takes his detective test, passes. Gets put on this high profile case. While investigating, gets kidnapped. Not just for several hours like TK/Tommy/Nancy is that one episode, but for weeks. Then the TK sobriety storyline could tie into this as well. Obviously, when he is found he's relatively okay. They could also tie this into the Judd PTSD storyline too.

Tarlos wedding

less fade to black scenes...this is why I wish that this show wasn't on cable TV. They do fade to black for all the romance aspects. Nancy and Mateo, TK and Carlos, Owen and Catherine.

Paul

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Wyatt storyline! I think it saved his character tbh

I would love to see more from this storyline, but from the season 3 finale it made it seem like Wyatt is going off to college and won't be around.

More about the accident at the beginning of the show. PTSD doesn't just go away like they portrayed.

Much like Paul, I want Marjan to be on a call and click with someone they are saving.

Maybe she gets hurt on a call. Nothing big, but needs to be out for a couple weeks.

She bumps into this person during that time and starts to secretly date them.

OF COURSE Paul is the first to sniff that shit out! He is her BFF, obviously!

Nancy

GIVE ME A NANCY BACKSTORY!

I want to know why she decided to become an EMT. In the O.G. 911 they did this for Hen and it was a really cool concept.

Similar, there is an episode where she talks about her sister, show me the family!!!

More scenes between her and Mateo. I STG is the writers make them break up I will do something detrimental...

Mateo

(similar to Nancy) GIVE ME A BACKSTORY!!

They hinted at a backstory several times: Dad being in Guadalajara, and being a DREAMER. That is great bones for a backstory! Just saying.

You can tell that Mateo and Nancy's characters were never meant to be apart of the ensemble, but the audience loved their characters so much that they now have storylines. I am excited to see where the writers take them.

Tommy

One of the twins starts getting in trouble at school

Maybe series finale, or series middle finale the twin sets a fire in the school? Or does that seem too much?

Tommy embracing the single Mom life, finally feeling steady in her routine.

It also would be a good idea for Tommy to think that she see's her late husband at one of their scenes. Starts seeing him everywhere. It's not him though, just a man that looks like him.

What I would write

🚑 Judd goes to surprise visit Wyatt, only to find out that he dropped out of college. He can't get a hold of him, and goes to work. On a call, a new firehouse shows up with fancy gear, tech, truck and their new tech guy...Wyatt.

🚒 Add a single season character, who's exit at the end of the season makes for good drama! AKA this character gets k!lled off. My initial thoughts would be a untamable, young firefighter with survivors guilt, like Judd, gets sent to Owens team
