at least my afternoon courses are (so far) easy and enjoyable. in my last class, I sat there doing nothing for the first hour and a half while the instructor hand held us through the most basic file management tasks. I could have done what she directed in less than 30 seconds if I hadn't had to wait until everyone was done to get the next instruction.

#the last half hour was about keyboarding. apparently my current WPM (untrained w/o proper technique) is 53 #while what employers will be looking for is 55WPM or higher #so I'm genuinely pretty pleased with that. that was a good note to end the day on for me.#I will need to keep pushing for accommodations though. there's nothing official that can be done to support my joints better #which is not going to work when posture + ergonomics are being presented as priorities for these courses #I need more than a cushionless swivel chair with no arm rests and a short back!!!! which I have to sit in all fucking day!#I keep getting run around by accessibility services. its been a month since first contact and I haven't been able to get a meeting with them #bc I'm constantly being directed elsewhere #I'm just. frustrated. I'm frustrated and overwhelmed and tired and it's only the beginning of week two #I will absolutely end up suicidal this winter. there's zero scenarios where I don't hit some kind of rock bottom.
