ACCESS GRANTED: THE SECRET SATURDAYS ELRIC-YAOS

Yeah, that's right. I made a fucking Secret Saturdays au. I doubt anybody even remembers this show, but who cares baby!!! The brainworms whispered to me, and they told me to feature edling as Drew & Doc respectively, Nina as Zak, and Lumi (snake baby) as Fiskerton! And who am I to question the brainworms???

(Seriously, Ed is a ONE-TO-ONE of Drew. It's kinda scary. And also explains a lot of my love for them both.)

Just relabel the cryptids as chimeras in this au and the kur stone as the philosopher's stone, and bam.

Also, I have no design for him but Greed is absolutely Van Rook. Yes, Ed's ex in this au. Yes, Ling has BEEF with Greed at first. They'll be fiiiine tho. Probably. Iykyk lmao.

Alternative portraits and stupid design details under the cut!!!!

Edling wear their wedding rings as necklaces to avoid damaging them in battle. Given 90% of their job always leads to one. Technically, Ed started the habit, but Ling is a goddamn dork and wanted to match his husband.

Everyone in the family sports some kind of braid and belt. Ed wears a white smaller one over his purple as a nod to Ling's style bleeding into him, and—vice versa—Ling wears a black belt as a nod to Ed's.

The belt is also Ed's way of wearing his husband's culture somehow. (The leather is not going just because he's married now. It's practical!)

Ling's sun pattern on his shirt matches Ed's belt medallion. (Re: dork.)

Ed's spear (and medallion!) is a gift from Izumi! After he was separated from Al years ago, Izumi took Ed in and taught him all her arcane and martial ways. The spear itself is actually a detachable dagger, that Ed elongated into a spear because that's just more his style.

Like Drew's sword, when it's powered by the sun, Ed's spear can shoot fire. (That's what the pattern is, Ling. It's not a fucking lotus, for the last time!)

Ling's sword isn't powered, but the elaborate scabbard was a late gift from Fu.

(Ed's glove is also a gift from Greed from when they were dating.)

The family has been to enough colder chimera habitats that Ed's permanently switched to Northern automail.

Nina wears a mix of elements from both her parents. A Xingese shirt like Ling, and hardy tights and boots like Ed. The knee guards were a mutual insistence from edling.

The buttons on her shirt are poppies! Exactly like Ling's favorite nickname for her, yīngsù (poppy).

Her right-hand bracelets are color-inspired by her parents too. Her left hand's one is just a cute handmade one spelling her name.

She's strangely short for an eleven-year-old. Edling have gotten one too many comments confusing her for eight. Unknowingly being the philosopher's stone and unlocking said powers young does that to a child's growth.

She has a weapon to focus her powers. Unpictured cuz I failed to figure out what it would be lmao.

Lumi's breed is an evolution of the Nambian flying snake! Her species can't quite fly anymore, but they can still glide their massive weights with their head fins.

She learned all her facial expressions from Nina. Hence the happy flare of her head fins, and her big, adorable "beam".

She's also blind! She was blinded fighting a bigger predator in the wild when she was very young, and couldn't possibly survive on her own after that. Edling rescued her not too long after they'd adopted Nina, intending her to just be a pet... Now just as much "their girl" as Nina.

They did not anticipate her to grow so large.

Ed was the one who named her Lumi. Luminous like the moon; or Lulu, as Ling and Nina insist on using instead.

(Ed's grumbling is full of shit. Even he slips up sometimes.)

Her scales reflect light in pearlescent rainbows meant to mesmerize prey! Optimized in the wild, she can camouflage to practically anything.

End of the Year Fic Rec

I was tagged by @echo-bleu and @dreamingthroughthenoise and it was very difficult to select only five fics for each category but here's my Must Read fanfics list, mostly Silmarillion but with a few LotR and one Hobbit. Also, I cheated at some point so you have one more fic rec as a treat

Recommend up to 5 series or multi-chapter fics from 2023 that everyone should read (multi-year WIPs count, if the last update was in 2023).

Summary: Elrond and Elros are sent to live with their distant cousins in a house that is crumbling slowly to pieces. They aren't especially happy about this. For Maedhros and Maglor, the twins are a rare chance to start living again.

Why you should read it: This is a whimsical, heartwarming yet bittersweet at times story about finding one’s place in a new world and what makes a family, grappling with the ghosts of the past and the pain of being a child left behind. Also the most exquisitely written modern AU (the style is just chef's kiss!) I’ve read so far, 100% recommend it!

Maglor is an Eldritch Horror by @thescrapwitch

Summary: After thousands of years singing to the sea, Maglor has become something strange and terrifying. But he still loves his family, and his family still loves him.

Why you should read it: Sometimes, family is a Half-Elf, his wife, their children, a shy and whimsical bard and the Eldritch kidnap grandfather who haunts the house; or how to write slightly creepy fluff. This series is pure heartwarming material and giving Elrond the happiness he desserves.

The Day the Horse-Lord wed the Lady of the Seas by @colinnoahmayhare (rated M)

Summary: After the War of the Ring, Lothíriel, Princess of Dol Amroth, finds herself at the receiving end of the search for peace and prosperity by being used as a pawn in an alliance made between kings and princes. Married to the King of the Riddermark, Éomer, she has to navigate being a foreigner in a foreign country, being a Queen to a King, and to learn to live and love with a man she hardly knows.

Why you should read it: This story is an intricate, gut wrenching exploration of what happens in Rohan after the War of the Ring, featuring delightful worldbuilding, lots of politics, revenge and honour. Now with Familial TraumaTM and Couple AngstTM for extra flavour!

And the Stars Shine the Same by @runawaymun (rated M)

Summary: After the Éothéod revolt against the Wainriders, the northern tribes seek to form strong alliances with their neighbors. Lord Frumgar tasks his son Fram to lead the delegation to Imladris. With him, he brings gold, fine horses, and two young thralls chosen by his father to be given to Lord Elrond himself. Elrond is conflicted to say the least.

Why you should read it: Do you like pre-canon Third Age history? Do you like worldbuilding about a few names from the Appendixes of LotR? Do you like found family and Good Dad Elrond? Do you like complex characters learning how to live with their traumas? This story is for you! (Just mind the warnings in the tags)

The ghost you dress up as (knows how to haunt) by @deadqueernoldor (rated M)

Summary: Maedhros was not the first Finwëan to be captured and taken to Angband, nor did he remain there the longest. Ranyatinwë, twin of Caranthir, was the first.

Why you should read it: Tinwë is such a complex character, 50% spite and 50% trauma, and this whole story is so, so promising already! (Really, you should read all the Strength of our Bonds series for extra unhinged, spiteful and unrepentant kinslayer Tinwë. I support women’s rights but in Tinwë’s case I firmly support women’s wrongs). This is pure post-Angband angstfest and dysfunctional siblings caring for each other in their weird way. If angst can be a comfort story, I found it.

Recommend up to 5 single chapter fics/one-shots (long or short) from 2023 that everyone should read.

Life in Miniature by @thescrapwitch

Summary: Turgon uses his hobby of building cities to recreate Gondolin, this time on a much smaller scale.

Why you should read it: For re-embodied Finwëan rebuilding their relationships as they work together on a miniature city; a heartwarming and really nice metaphor.

Hearth Fire by @dreamingthroughthenoise

Summary: Findis and Feanor speak before the Flight of the Noldor and share in their grief the best they can.

Why you should read it: Because there are so few stories centered around Findis and her feelings about her family and this one is so interesting and well written. Also, Findis is my Blorbo and everyone should read about her until they're consumed by the Blorbo.

your veins are empty of dust by @echo-bleu

Summary: Anairë finds her late one day in her workshop, surrounded by slabs of stone larger than her. Nerdanel is hammering forcefully at one of them, the barest hints of an elven shape already taking form in the marble. Bitter, stinging tears run down her cheeks and into her collar, and her arms ache with exhaustion.

The body is only barely sketched, but the face is already chiselled, smooth curves and angular cheekbones.

Fëanáro emerges out of the marble, looking like he’s about to take life.

Why you should read it: For a heartbreaking dive into Nerdanel's grief, her friendship with Anairë and how Nerdanel's art becomes her way to cope with loneliness and grief.

Summary: Elwing's time runs out.

Why you should read it: Because these may be the 740 most impactful words I've read about Elwing since I discovered the Silm fandom.

Summary: Boromir lives. The world is the smallest bit brighter for it.

Why you should read it: Do I need a more convincing argument than what the summary says? Boromir lives and everyone is happier. I love a good fix-it and this one is very well written indeed.

Recommend up to 5 fics NOT from 2023 that everyone should read (oldies but goodies.)

The Carpenter’s Son by Zimra (rated M, warning for rape/non-con)

Summary: An untold story of conquered Dor-lómin, in which an Easterling carpenter has a child by his Hadorian slave.

Why you should read it: This story explores in a very interesting way a par of canon that is almost never mentionned (except in the Narn). The main character is attaching and I really cared for her and her son. The hindsights in the slavers' minds are chilling with their realism and this whole story is just so well written. Also, it ends on a note of hope.

And what I am needs no excuses by aurembiaux

Summary: Sam has always been in love with Frodo. It's only that it takes him forty years to realize that he is.

Why you should read it: Probably the most heartwarming and relatable self-discovery story I’ve ever read; set in England from the WWII to the 80’s, with all the social changes that happened in this time period. Featuring Supportive Dad (and Friend) Sam as the main character and a whole bunch of introspection. One of my all time comfort read!

Mark of a Warrior by starryeyedknight

Summary: After the funeral for Theoden, Merry wakes up to a problem experienced by many a young man after a night of heavy drinking. The ink on his arm doesn't appear to be washing off… 

Why you should read it: This one shot explores the relationships Merry formed with the RIders of Rohan, the grief he has in common with them and how he found his place amongst the riders, all of this with delightful humour and lightness despite the initial situation.

Dancing with my punchlines by LiveOakWithMoss (rated M)

Summary: In which the sons of Fëanor throw house parties, the beer is terrible, 20-something hipster elves act like their drama is as bad as it is in canon, and macking on cousins is fair game.

Why you should read it: If you like a good old modern AU with tons of drama of various sorts, amazing ace representation and general Finwëans shenanigans, this is the story for you.

Old Maggie Took by @deadqueernoldor

Summary: The headcanon about Maglor, second son of Fëanor, lives hidden in the Shire? Yes.

Why you should read it: My ultimate comfort read series; featuring mouth-watering descriptions of food, kidnadopted fam and Maglor being an overgrown hobbit and trolling everyone in ME and Valinor. This is fluffy, this is silly, this is prefect.

Recommend up to 5 of your own fics (completed or WIP) from 2023 that everyone should read.

Dreams of Doom (rated M, warning for Major Character Death)

Summary: “She runs in the dark, alone. Where her feet carry her, she knows not, and her heart is heavy with dread. Someone - something - is watching her.”

Niënor from the moment she arrives in Brethil to her death.

Why you should read it: Because this fic is my firsborn child and I am insanely proud of it, especially since I went so out of my comfort zone to write it. It features two of my obscure blorbos and I poured my soul into it.

Ice Age(s)

Summary: Ice skating through the ages, from Idril learning with her grandfather to Elrond perpetuating the familial tradition.

Why you should read it: This is a fluffy fic, mostly, and it's also a gift for the amazing @echo-bleu. I also wrote it in a sort of trance in the middle of the night, passed out the moment I posted it and had no memory whatsoever of what I had written upon waking up in the morning, yet I still love this fic dearly.

I never wanted to walk in your steps

Summary: Tilda was ten, the same age Sigrid was at her birth, and her world was collapsing more than when Smaug had destroyed Laketown.

Why you should read it: Because I privately call this fic Hobbit angstfest. I took a sad, doomed ship and asked myself "how can I make it sadder?"

Summary: Few know of Findis the Faithful, eldest daughter of Finwë, who never lost hope for her family.

Why you should read it: I took my obscure blorbo and set her in a medieval-ish AU. It's sad and a little hopeful too and there's a lot of Quenya interspaced through the story.

Quiet morning in Gondolin

Summary: Idril and Eärendil spend some time together before the city wakes up.

Why you should read it: I'll put the link to the beautiful art that inspired this ficlet and let it speak for me.

Oooh, thanks for the ask!

1.- Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

Hmm.... I think I prefer the idea of one-shots but as you well know... Well, I currently have a "one-shot" that isn't yet complete and sitting at 20k words so I guess I like the idea, but my brain isn't able to contain itself!

2.- Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

Bit of both! Sometimes I just have a vague idea and jump in, sometimes I have a plan, but even in series like Tangled Sisters, I don't go so far as to plan each chapter, rather I plan what the big plots points are, what NEEDS to happen, and then kinda see what goes on in between as we go.

I also have a tendency to come up with new ideas and before you know it I'm writing a different fic to the plan!

11.- Link your three favourite fics right now

OOOOH, this is a lot of pressure!

I feel like my faces do change depending on the day and mood and most importantly... my memory.

Today my brains is offering up one-shots so that's what ya'll get, in no particular order:

Judgement Day by @the-writer1988. I don't know what it is about the idea of Eugene facing the king and queen before Rapunzel's safe return that always attracts me as an idea! Like, the bravery required, the tenseness of that scene... And this one-shot does it super well!

I'm Not Sick by DreamsAndDaytime (I don't know if they're on tumblr but if they are please tell me!) this is one of the first one-shots I read and fell in love with in this fandom. I love Eugene and Cass' interactions in this! I'm a sucker for any fic that takes the time to both let them be friends but play into their humour. It's just my favourite thing ever!

And then I can't pick between one (any almost) of @frozenwolftemplar's little Cass stuff or @roygbivv's New Dream fics. I think for much shorter prose, romance or flfuf I have to go for New Dream. But sometimes I just want to watch Cap be a dad and Cass be a sweet but not easy child...

Sorry, can't do three, it's gotta be four!

16.- How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

Quite honestly... Too many. It'll be over 50 wips soon.

Two of my most recents are:

Anagapesis

Falling out of love; the feeling of not loving someone or something once loved. Stalyan was beautiful and smart, and everything Eugene thought he desired. So why was writing some simple wedding vows such an impossible task?

A one-shot with Eugene writing his vows the day before his wedding, he thinks back to the ups and downs of their relationship, to the love he felt in the start, to how he feels today, and comes to the conclusion he can't go through with the wedding.

Hair-Cut

An AU where in the first fic in the Tangled Sister's series, Cassandra goes trhough with cutting Rapunzel's hair effectively killing Gothel. The girls, alone int he tower, eventually have to adventure out for food!

It was meant to be some quick cute fluff!

But right now Cassandra is eighteen years old, running away from home and Lance and Eugene are trying to hunt her down... How did that happen?!

Fandoms: Dragon Age is my life’s breath. My life just wouldn’t be complete without Alistair in it. And while I currently only post in the DA fandom, I am addicted to reading Supernatural (Destiel) fics and have been known to consume the occasional, MCU, Witcher, Skyrim (pretty much anything someone I respects says - OMG this is good, you must read it!)

Where You Post: When I started, I posted to DeviantArt, FF.net, AO3, (all as Aurlana) and here (as Aurlyn, because Aurlana was already taken... how rude!) ;). I quickly got overwhelmed. Now I post only to AO3 and share those link’s here and on Twitter (when I remember). I have one WIP still on FF that I will update eventually, but I don’t plan on continuing there after it’s complete.

I have a master spreadsheet with links/pairings/etc. for all of my stories if you’d like to see what’s currently on AO3. :) - Yes, I love spreadsheets, I’m not afraid to admit it. Please don’t call an intervention.

Most Popular One-Shot: All That Matters - It received so much love, I eventually added a second chapter making it a happily ever after. The love this piece continues to receive truly astounds me. I am humbled by it and most grateful.

Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: Cocktails and Cheese - At 59 completed chapters and 224k+ words, this Cullistair, Modern AU with Magic is my baby! March 2020 will mark three years since I posted the first chapter. I love to be able to look back and see how far my writing has come since then and I don’t think I will ever get enough of these boys in this wonky hybrid world.

I have the next ten chapter story arc for C&C currently going through edits and will start posting them sometime in the next month or so (by its March birthday at the latest). C&C also has a side collection of fifteen one shots, and an eleven chapter crossover between this universe and the Supernatural Universe - so yeah, what started as a vivid image in a dream, has done a pretty good job of permeating my life. (totally not complaining).

Favorite Story You Wrote: You mean besides C&C and All that Matters? I’d have to say it’s a tossup between Alistair’s Last Rose and the Warden and the Werewolf; two very different ends of the spectrum. Alistair’s Last Rose always leaves me in tears (my ultimate endgame - happiest ever after for Alistair and Cullen), The Warden and the Champion is a peek into the silly side of Daddy Alistair when it comes to tucking his daughter into bed (another Cullistair story, is anyone surprised?).

Story You Were Nervous to Post: Tainted Love, without a doubt! Modeled after @andrastini​‘s video of the same name, but taken to a whole new (even more disturbing) level. But hey, now I can say I’ve actually written Cullistair tentacle porn so.... *shrug*. ;)  (maybe some day I’ll even add onto it, we’ll see).

How You Choose Your Titles: I have to agree with @elfrooted​ on this one, the titles choose me. At some point, during my writing, a phrase or concept jumps out at me and the title is just there... *bam!* (not if I’m looking for it though, never if I’m looking for it - those elusive bastards.)

Complete: I have 45 completed works on AO3 (3 of those I may add onto later - time and inspiration permitting, but nothing in the works as of yet. Their door is just... open to it).

Do You Outline? On my chaptered stories, I do lightly outline. But, I’ve been known to just sit down and start writing too. When my focus gets shot to hell, I know it’s time to go back and outline again.

Coming Soon/Not Yet Started: The Royal Tantrum is currently in final edits. A one-shot where (post Inquisition) King Alistair is having a really hard day and thankfully his Commander is there to help make him feel better. Currently it’s PG-13, but I really want to make it steamier... we’ll see what I end up with when I’m done chewing it over. ;)

I also have the (last? maybe last?) story arc for Cocktails and Cheese going through edits. It’s called Promises and Proposals and you can guess from the title where this little adventure is going to take these boys. ;)

And finally, during NaNoWriMo last year, I pounded out an original urban fantasy story where vampires, werewolves, dragonkin, & the angel-blooded have a Shrouded Alliance that is sworn to keeps the peace. It has worked for centuries. It’s only when the humans start performing tests on the supernatural world, that things all go to shit. (damnit humans, stop fucking things up!) This little labor of love is currently on ice until I finish posting Promises and Proposals.

Do You Accept Prompts? YES. I love prompts! My 100 word Cullistair kisses are the easiest/quickest for me to fill, but I don’t shy away from longer works either. :)

Upcoming Story You Are Most Excited to Write: ALL THE STORIES! I honestly get chills just sitting down to write. I only wish my hands could keep up with my brain (and I had more hours in the day, and less distractions, and and and - oh look, a squirrel!) Can’t I just plug in and download my brain all ready? Seriously though, with the projects I have currently so close to being ready to post, I’m trying not to look for future projects and trying to stay focused on the task at hand. (Doesn’t mean that I don’t occasionally fantasize about adding on to Tainted Love and Beautiful Sacrilege, though - I do have slightly twisted darker side to appease too, y’know). ;)

A: How did you come up with the title to go i know not whither and fetch i know not what?

lmao i wanted to use the most complicated, hardest to remember, most frustrating title possible. (JOKING)

no the real answer is that i knew i wanted to borrow the title from a russian folk/fairy tale. i searched around for a while, and my first idea was actually something like ‘starina/bylina’, which is just the name for that kind of epic story [imagine how much easier i would have made my life].

but i LOVE go i know not whither, as a title, and i had actually used it in a first draft of another fic that i never finished/posted. i think it just speaks to the hopelessness that kyril feels throughout the fic, the fatalism with which he views his life and his position: like, if you want to be free, there are things you must do… but what things? where are they? he knows not. freedom, to kyril, is an impossible task. and in the context of the fairy tale, it is designed to be. basically the story– or my understanding of it, from wikipedia lol– is that a king falls hard for a hunter’s wife, and gives him increasingly difficult tasks in an attempt to get him killed, so he can get at the wife. [by the way the wife, who is magical, and the hunter seem to have a solid and supportive marriage so jot that down. she repeatedly helps him out with these ridiculous tasks.]

oh man i would not want to put pressure on another writer to finish their wip, but is there a fic i wish someone would write? i mean i love a well-researched [you know how i feel about research chel], multi-chapter historical au epic. you know what period i find fascinating, and which i don’t know a lot about? everything between the fall of the roman empire and the renaissance. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  there are some amazing fics out there like @hagenshall‘s Salt in the Blood and @poethrotsvitha‘s Fortune’s Throne/Tithe and @mygrandmathinksimsassy‘s She Who Would Be Queen, and i would read approximately 10 million more fics set in any of these time periods/places. [if anyone has any recs please send them my way!!]S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

i think it’d probably be easier to say which ones i can resist. i love tropes. only one bed? YES. fake marriage/relationship? i’m there. enemies to lovers? gimme. i actually just looked up tropes on fanlore to see if there are any for which i have a particular weakness, and here are the ones that stood out: historical au, ABO, dystopia/apocalypse, arranged marriage, isolated/trapped somewhere [especially a canadian sex shack], missing scenes, sex pollen [i am trash, preemptive apologies], angst [duh], hurt/comfort, PWP. i am weak for all of these, and many more.

A dance can go a long way - Raydan shares a dance with Adder, seeking advice regarding his feelings for Kenna. Take your time -  Set between book 1 & 2, on their way to Thorngate. Early sweet moment in the beginning of Kenna and Raydan’s relationship, even before it’s was explicitly established.  Standing next to me - While still on their journey to freeing the kingdoms of the Nevrakis regain, Kenna wonders what kind of a queen she’ll make, once she’ll get there - ruling Stormholt without the sense of danger hovering over it. Gotta save him -  Jake catches MC pushing herself too hard, and tries to comfort her. She ends up telling him about how she and Diego became close friends. The winter brings a new -  Jake said goodbye to everyone from la-huerta a little over a year ago. He never said goodbye to MC, figuring it would be easier this way. He doesn’t know if it’s easier for her, but for him it definitely isn’t. Who we used to be before the island -  Mc and Jake share a talk after spending their first night at the Vaanti’s village Figuring out a way -  After Iris reveals there’s a way back home, both Mc and Jake are too busy in thoughts to fall asleep. Mc dares to ask what does that mean for them, and they figure things out as they talk. To make the most of.. -  All while trying to clear Jake’s name, Mc pays a visits to Costa-Rica. A blurt out of hers in one of the visits leads to a conversation about Jake’s family. Life isn’t always a fairytale. But it is with you. - Rourke ordered Lila to kill the gang. Mc and the rest of the gang managed to escaped the MASADA complex, but Grace was left behind. After a long day of scheming, Mc isn’t sure they can pull that off. She isn’t sure she could continue any longer. Only a certain snarky pilot can help discolor all her worries and make her believe again. Late night reassurence -  Set after Jake and MC made love and confessed their feeling for each other, before heading to the MASADA complex. Jake still finds it hard to sleep, and a shaky confession escapes his mouth, revealing his doubts. Please remember me (& also mentions of Varynn/Diego) & Don’t leave me now (Ironically this title is not referring to Jake x Mc) - A WIP story. Rourke wiped the gang’s memories clean, and they have to find a way to stop him from destroying the world before it’s too late. I will always find you & Of mice and men -  After speaking with The Endless, Taylor, Yvonne, and Uqzhaal are on their way to search for the gang. After reuniting together, she and Jake share a sleepless night together.  Can’t stand the thought of losing you -  What happens if Taylor didn’t solve the mystery, but did find all of the Catalyst Idols, in the final scene of book two?  And what if, Taylor can’t bear the thought of losing Jake? ... And ever after. - A proposal fic back in the states. The only way (Angst!) & Finding Taylor (Part two, happy ending) - Mostly Jake’s POV. - Jake believes he knows what’s best for Taylor. And the best thing for her is to believe he’s dead, until he could clear his name. No one is really lost forever - Jake finally gets through to Mike, and it’s with Taylor’s help. For the rest of our lives - Right in the middle of the lion’s den, Taylor asks for backup and disappears. Jake covers for her, while Taylor gets them out of trouble. Just then, without words, Jake puts his past behind him, and steps forward towards his new future.  Sacred moments - Taylor wakes Jake up too early in the morning, and they share a lovely morning before the rest of the world has a chance to wake up. Estela x Mc She’s worth it & It started out with a kiss - (f!mc) Taylor successfully hides her concerns and worries from everyone else, but Estela. As an act of comfort, Estela kisses her. Though they don’t discuss it until much later. Three times and once more -  (f!mc) The word “Marry” is exchanged three times between Estela and Mc while they’re in La-Huerta, but what does each time mean? Happy (?) New Year - (f!mc) The gang had planned out New Year’s Eve perfectly, but an old wound of Mc’s threatens to ruin the night. Going steady - (m!mc) After being interrupted by Zahra last time they were discussing their relationship, Taylor comes up with an idea to finally get together with Estela. No words needed - (m!mc) As Flynn is about to sacrifice himself and join with Vaanu, he and Estela share one last, teary, goodbye. Even in the coldest places I feel warm with you - (f!mc) It doesn’t take Estela long to figure out the gang’s suspicious of her, all but one person. As Taylor approaches her, Estela’s wonders come out loud. I can show you the world - (m!mc) The moments following Estela’s proposal and her and Flynn’s wedding.
