The Mun

The Mun is 21+ and most muses are adults unless told otherwise.

I don’t have anything that needs to be tagged other then NSFW. This regards pictures only, mostly related to smut. If you reblog a lot of shipy pictures and don’t tag it appropriately, I’ll have to unfollow you. I live in a small house, eyes can be on my screen at any given time. Otherwise, I wouldn’t care as much.

This blog will have mature content. If it’s related to pictures, like blood. I will tag it (tw: blood) and any darker themed rps will likely fall under readmore. If something does need tagging, please let me know and I’ll do my best to tag it.

Mutuals & Non-Mutuals may message me using the IM system anytime for ooc chat, plot, thread discussion, character and headcanon questions. Don’t be shy, I’m really nice and would love to chat! Chances are I’m more afraid to talk to you then you are to talk to me. With respect, I wish you to reply to any messages I send you at your convenience with reminders a day or two later in case they have been forgotten. In return, I wish for the same respect. Whether we’re active on the dash or not.

Regarding personals, I don’t mind you liking my threads/openers/OOC/IC response or dash commentary but do not reblog them if it is not for the purpose of rping or the rp is not with you. Unless told otherwise, otherwise I’m going to block you.

I’m not the greatest when it comes to socializing. Regarding irl there isn’t much for me to say but I do enjoy people coming to talk to me about characters, threads and anything. If we’ve talked/rped for a while, you can ask for my discord but threads will remain on tumblr.

Please have a bio and rules page available. It’s much easier to get to know you and your character that way. Otherwise I’m unlikely to follow you.

I will not follow personals nor will I roleplay with them. However, personals can send in asks directed at both mun and muse if you like.

Just because I don’t follow you, doesn’t mean I won’t RP with you. I have my reasons for this and in no way reflects poorly on you as a role player. I’d like to rp with everyone but I’d like to keep my dash manageable.

If we’re mutuals, I want to roleplay with you but it’s okay if you don’t want to rp with me. You can tell me no just as I have the right to tell you no.

If you’re a person of the same muse or face claim as me, I’m still willing to rp with you. I’m also willing to roleplay with more than one person of the same character, just sorry in advance if I get you guys mixed up lol. Muns of the same character can yield different results. If you see me rping with a muse you have, I’ll still rp with you too!

Threads

I’m AU/Crossover/Multi-verse friendly.

I like plotting beforehand but random rps are okay too. Check the muse pages for Verses and wishlists!

I tend to do paragraph rps but I’ll do one-liners and all that. I also use icons from time to time, you never have to match my length or use icons if you don’t want to. As long as you give me something to work with, it’s all good.

Any RP blog can reply to my OPENers, Joke RPs, IC or Dash Commentaries unless it’s stated otherwise (like it’s mentioned mutuals only). If you see an opener you like and it already has notes on it, you can still reply to it or make a new thread and @ myname in it. With or without my permission.

I’m okay with violent rps, simply be realistic. (Talking to me first is preferable.) If you put my muses life in danger, expect them to fight back.If you ever send me an ask or vice versa and wish to turn that ask into a thread. By all means do so, with or without my permission. All I ask is that use the @ myname so I can see it.

If I’ve not liked a thread or responded to it in a few days at first, please let me know, I might have missed it.

If I’m rping with you and haven’t replied in a while, remind me. I might have forgotten/lost the thread. If said it’s in drafts, then I’ll get to it. Sometimes I have a hard time, other times because of life I don’t have time too. I like putting 100% into my threads and would rather not half-ass it because I’m tired. I’m also always willing to do more than one thread with you but I can be slow at replying.

If you ever want to drop a thread with me, you can let me know and we can plot out something new when you’re ready. If you don’t want something new, that’s cool too. Rping is made to be fun and if a thread no longer fun then why stress?

Shipping

I like shipbuilding. I would much rather our characters interact and be friends before starting a ship. I feel slow burns give more content to rp and chemistry is important. I don’t want it to be all fluff either, people disagree and fight but this should never turn into an abusive thing. (Unless we want it that way.)

My level of comfort really varies when it comes to shipping characters. The muns will have had to be in communication for a bit and rules discussed beforehand if we really want to dive into it but in general, while shipping is fun it’s not something I outwardly seek.

I have no problem with your muse expressing romantic feelings towards mine but if I’ve not discussed this, i’m going to turn it down but unrequited love is a thing.

I’m multi-verse / multi-ship. I reserve the right to stop our ship just like you have the right to tell me the same. Things happen, muses don’t work out. It’s cool to stop or try and work it out. I don’t want this to be a stressful thing and would rather the muns remain friends but if that can’t work out. it’s cool too.

summary: she zooms in, snaps a picture, and then it’s done. it’s over, she has exactly what she needs, exactly what she’s been looking for for months now. henry hart is kid danger, and she’s the first person with real, tangible proof. / or, in which charlotte and henry have been rivals from the start, and charlotte knows she’s right about this.

a/n: so i know i’ve been posting a lot about a random character who wants to expose henry as kd and it was a joke at first, but then i had this idea. and it kind of started off as like, a mini post of headcanons but then it turned into actual writing and surpassed 1k words so i thought what the hell, i haven’t written an official fic (that isn’t in chat format) in a while. so here’s this, all rambled out at once and barely edited and un-beta’d. i hope you enjoy.

here’s the thing: henry and charlotte aren’t best friends.

far from it, actually. maybe hate is a strong word, in charlotte’s mind (although henry is all-too-quick to use it), but they’ve been at odds since they were kids. really, it’s hard for either of them to pinpoint when it started. maybe it was in the first grade, when henry broke charlotte’s magenta crayon and insisted he wasn’t the culprit. maybe second, when they had to share a cubby together, which led to constant bickering. maybe fourth, when charlotte ratted him out for playing on his nintendo ds in class. but at some point, they started hating each other. and they’re not really sure why they still do now—that’s just the way it’s always been.

they compete over everything—student council positions, academics, sports, even stupid, trivial things like instagram followers. and to be honest, charlotte doesn’t like being that egotistical person she becomes whenever she’s trying to one-up him, but she can’t help it. he’s so prideful and careless and arrogant and it’s infuriating.

and when kid danger shows up, she’s the only person who isn’t fooled. somehow, she knows its him; maybe it’s the height, or the haircut, but she knows. and she confronts him, and he denies it vehemently, but charlotte knows better than to fall for it. there’s clues everywhere, and she prides herself on being smart—so of course she picks up on the little things that no one else seems to notice.

like how henry’s always late to class. how he’ll always miss school right around the time that kid danger shows up. how he’s always so eager to get to work, how he has to step away from his friends before taking calls, how his watch always beeps and he acts like the world is ending.

“i know that it’s you,” she says, and the smirk on his face is so smug that charlotte half wishes she believed in solving issues with violence just so she could wipe it off of his face.

“prove it,” he replies.

and she tries. she hangs around the stupid junk store he works at more often than any normal person. she watches his every move like a goddamn hawk. she listens to his phone conversations more closely than she’d like to admit. she talks to loose-lipped jasper, who’s henry’s best friend and someone she’s been close to ever since they started sharing fashion advice and physics notes, but either he’s really good at playing dumb or henry really hasn’t told him yet—and is better at keeping secrets than she would’ve expected.

but she knows. it has to be him—and she isn’t going to stop until she gets her proof. she’s not even sure why it means so much to her; maybe it’s a mixture of pride and stubbornness but she knows she’s not wrong and she needs the evidence.

and then—of all places—she’s at burger castle.

three masked men bust through the door, and there’s shouting and screaming and gunshots fired at the ceiling, and everyone’s ducking under the tables. and captain man’s out of town for the weekend; the news had spread like wildfire through swellview, so maybe that’s why the robbers choose now to do it (but a fucking burger castle? seriously?)

and then kid danger saunters through the door. he’s all witty comebacks and an overall air of carelessness, but there’s a note of relief mixed in with the annoyance in charlotte’s chest. he takes them down fast, but it’s a messy fight—he somehow ends up with ketchup covering his hands, so he strips off his gloves.

and that’s when charlotte sees it. there’s a birthmark on the side of kid danger’s wrist, and maybe she doesn’t like henry hart but she knows him, maybe too well and at least well enough to know that he has the same one in the same place. she zooms in, snaps a picture, and then it’s done. it’s over, she has exactly what she needs, exactly what she’s been looking for for months now. henry hart is kid danger, and she’s the first person with real, tangible proof.

then, she looks over at him. he’s kneeling in front of a crying girl who can’t be more than six, with his hands on her shoulders and a gentle smile on his masked face. he says something that charlotte can’t hear, and the girl giggles, and for a moment, she doesn’t see the pride and arrogance that always seems to surround henry. she just sees a hero.

then he turns, and his eyes lock on hers, and maybe he knows her as well as she knows him because he takes one look at the phone in her hands and the look on her face and the expression drops from his. charlotte half runs out the door, and then she makes a decision.

“charlotte!” he catches up to her, and tugs her behind the building and away from the news vans that have just pulled up. his eyes are so wide with panic that she thinks she can hear his heart racing.

“henry,” she says, and he looks, for the first time that day despite staring down the barrel of a gun only a few minutes ago, afraid.

“you have proof, don’t you?” it’s not really a question. he tugs a hand through his hair and swallows as she nods mutely .

“please,” he says, and of all the ways she’d pictured this moment going this was never one of them. “i know we’re not...friends, i know we’ve never been friends but i can’t—this could put everyone i care about in danger.” he sounds so desperate. “and i’m sorry i’ve been a jerk to you for so long, it was so stupid, i don’t even know why i ever did any of that stuff to you but now i’m asking you, charlotte, please don’t tell anyone. i can’t let this get out, that would mean that it’s all over and i—”

“henry,” she cuts in, and when he glances up at her his eyes are rimmed in red. “i deleted the video.”

“you what?”

charlotte bites her lip, shifting on her feet—and she’s not usually one to get nervous or awkward but henry looks like he’s about to cry and she’s just doing her best to explain herself. “you’re right; we’ve never been friends. but you—you saved a lot of people today. you’ve been saving a lot of people since you started doing this, and i’m not gonna take that away because of some petty grudge that,” and she laughs a little despite herself, “i can’t even remember the reason for. so, you don’t have to worry about it anymore. i won’t say anything.”

the look on his face is so intensely relieved that it’s almost endearing. “thank you,” he says, voice a little breathless, and she nods at him, smiling softly.

“it’s the least i could do, kid danger,” she replies, and as a smile slowly eases on his face she adds, “besides, maybe now i can help you. some of your tech needs a major upgrade.”

he laughs, a clear, warm sounds that lights up his whole face, and she thinks fleetingly about how much time they could’ve spent sharing those smiles instead of arguing. “let’s not get ahead of ourselves, yeah?” he jokes, and she punches his shoulder and thinks that this is something that she could definitely get used to.

Because I thought I’d done this months ago, under readmore is just my rules that I have on my blog so mobile users have access to them too since tumblr is dumb. Mad respect for anyone stuck on mobile and actively uses it as there rp source because I sure as hell can’t lol.

Xane – supposedly the japanese version (Chainy) may have been derived from the name of an actor, and that’s all I’ve got

one picture you like best of your muse`s fc:

two headcanons you have for your muse that you never told anyone:

1) In the instance where Xane stays in Archanea after the war of shadows, he likes to stay up really late just looking out the window sometimes, especially when he’s feeling bad. When he first learned that thing about dead people ending up in the sky as stars he found a couple that he decided were his parents, and it’s nice to just... remember that they’re there

Ideally he’d be able to see them just sitting by the window in whatever room he ends up in, but as the stars go across the sky he finds ways to keep those two important ones in sight. For example, laying upside down on the bed with his head hanging off the edge. Leaning a bit farther out the window than is safe. Etc

2) I don’t remember if I’ve talked about this much, at the very least I haven’t talked about it in a while

A lot of Xane’s attitude is related to his expectations of what people think of him... which is probably not that uncommon, but, yeah, he tends to expect that people won’t like him because he knows he’s pushing them away with his attitude and it’s a fun downward spiral. Also because humans tend to not like dragons, but that’s less of an excuse when he’s masquerading as one of them. So if he wants any care and/or attention, he’s gonna have to go out and get it

So cue Xane being a complete bother and enjoying riling people up because at least they’re paying attention to him. That, and because it’s kind of funny to see how outraged some people can get about what he would consider a little joke; you take things a lot less seriously when you’ve got all the time in the world. Unsurprisingly, the best way to make him stop is to just... be nice to him, because he’ll start caring about your opinion then

three things your muse likes doing in their free time:

1) Passing time, sort of? Just laying in the grass somewhere watching stuff happen and not thinking about much of anything at all. It’s comfortable and he doesn’t need anyone else’s help to just enjoy existence for a bit

2) He really likes socializing, as in, holding a nice conversation with someone. But it’s hard for him to find people who would want to talk to him, or at least, he doesn’t think they’d want to talk to him because he hasn’t exactly been friendly or forthcoming with information even to the humans in Marth’s army... If he really wants to talk sometimes he’ll just find random people who he’s never met and chat with them for a little while

3) Definitely have mentioned this before, but again, if Xane stays after the war sometimes he’ll just leave and travel to some place he misses. He’s been wandering for years, and it’s hard to break the habit. Plus, sometimes you just gotta get away from all those humans, y’know

two things your muse regrets:

1) Throwing away his dragonstone. It was important at the time, nobody quite knew if the degeneration would continue albeit slowly, and a feral divine dragon is a real threat

But now that it’s been a good thousand years, he... really, really wishes he had some way to be stronger than he is without relying on others. And he’s barely a dragon as he is, but he’s clearly not a human, so he just doesn’t fit anywhere at all

I don’t think he was old enough when he got his manakete form to miss being a dragon, per se, but he knows this isn’t really who he’s supposed to be and it grates on him sometimes

2) It takes a really long while, like, he probably wouldn’t quite realize it til sometime closer to Awakening... but he’d really regret how immature he used to be. A lot. If he had acted like a real adult maybe he’d have actually made some friends and stuff instead of running away in the end

Like I talk about Xane sticking around and getting close to people but once they die there’s nothing keeping him there and he’d just. go. and later he really wishes he’d made an attempt instead of just getting scared of losing people again. Hindsight is 20/20 ofc so there’s no guarantee it would’ve gone well but... it makes him make more of an effort in the present

And maybe if he does get really attached to someone he’d realize far sooner that he regrets being such a bother and he wants to be a better person, but that’s a point for another day
