I find it very funny that the only time ling and mei directly interact is at the very end and the only time they were ever in the same room together before the promised day is when ling has been freshly possessed. we already know mei gets a glance at greed and is like "is that the yao prince?? why is he here????" and I have to imagine it went similarly from ling's perspective. like he's still reeling from getting possessed on purpose, probably still getting his bearings in there, and he's just experienced potentially the worst twenty-four hours of his life, and then greed starts applauding a little girl's reunion with her panda and ling gets a look at her and is like "oh what the fuck."

Mks angst - existential crisis. his friends being hurt or taken from him. Being abandoned. Failing. Being seen by others the same way they see swk maybe???

Swk angst - just indescribable physical pain being inflicted on him. Loneliness. Losing Mk

Mei angst - familial. Losing mk. (with the samadhi fire it was having a power she couldn't control ig but that was short-lived:( so) not being strong enough maybe???

Pigsy angst - losing his kid. Losing his shop. Being a lazy good for nothing. Being Zhu Bajie

Tang angst - being useless. Being left behind. Being seen as useless by his friends

Sandy angst - becoming violent/blackout rage. Causing harm

hello everyone, lil' update on me is that i sort of feel a bit more . . . okay-ish? talking to my family helped (shocker, i know jsahas) as well as just hanging out with my friends which is why they're pulling me out of my cave today for karaoke in the evening. however, i do plan on sending out some asks from the inbox call as well as message the people interested in becoming affiliates today. next week will be even more stressful work-related because i'm working double my hours. however, i'll try to make some time for this hobby as i've really missed it. mains will also be added today ♥ i hope your week has been going well & i apologize for the radio silence on my side.
