Having A LOT of feelings over the temporality of ladders and Buck and the whole time metaphor because it’s been there since season 1 - the universe is screaming at all of us!!!
#because ladders are a temporary device to help you get somewhere for a short period of time - they are not a permenant solution#so buck climbing all these ladders and having run ins with the ladder truck specifically#(because it was the engine that was a refuge for buck and chris during the tsunami)#is really interesting - he keeps using these temporary fixes - rather than the more permenant option of the stairs#this has been going on since season 1 - he used the ladder truck for his hook ups not the engine#I might have to write a whole meta on buck and the ladder truck and time and quick/ temporary fixes when I’m not at work!!#911 spoilers#911 on fox#911 fox#911onfox#evan buckley#buck versus the ladder truck
