Drawing with crayons? Peak

Drawing THEM with crayons? Rubbing the wax against the imperfect representation of their face? Scraping off their flaws only to layer back on the so called flaws you see as truly beautiful? Blending the colors in their eyes? Messing up not paying attention to the drawing getting lost in the beauty of their face? Melting the wax colors together with your fingers? Now THAT is something else.

#electric light orchestra #hugh mcdowell #richard tandy #okay I actually drew four of them #the other two were roll over beethoven tin foil jeff lynne and melvyn game #BUT #I messed up Melvyn’s mouth and jeffs wig and eyes #and I got so scared #the failed drawings looked so unsightly I couldn’t bear for them to see ever the light of day #and Jeff and melvyn as in the real people themselves are actually beautiful and lovely #inside AND out #but like #I feel as though the hugh and richard crayon drawings were at least the most tolerable to look at and best #oh well #that’s usually why I stick to my phone or pencils or markers #crayons are really thick yet pretty and I love them but idk #sometimes it’s hard to see the strokes especially if you use the bottom (I did for their eyelashes since the bottom is pretty flat #and the sides of the bottom end are pretty sharp #lol #I TRIED YALL
