Wow can’t believe my subconscious brain invented an entire violently misogynistic internet-spawned subculture specifically to torture me through hyper-realistic dreams at 2AM
#I mean I've had hallucinations dropping off to sleep before and sometimes they've also happened at the end of existing dreams#But never so convincing#I mean they weren't very inventive before they used to just hold me down and punch me but NOW#Now they have a philosophy! A guiding principle! They specifically spin a dream where they get to play-act as some#bizarrely theatrical woman killer with rituals gleaned from some deeply online source#And THEN proceed to the holding down and punching part#Huh#I mean I'm not even more anxious than usual about being murdered or anything so don't know where THAT came from#But I'm almost impressed maybe there's a way to tap this for creative purposes#The hellish little guy in the back of my brain who likes to torment me when I've just dropped off to sleep could be useful#To be fair it's the first time this has happened in a long time and since I've been sleeping on my back it's only fair#But frustrating I thought we'd solved this and I even went to bed at a decent time#Oh well suppose I'm awake now even though I'm desperately tired#Thank god for videos of horses with gloves on their ears
