OwaMiki Short Manga (Mondo and Mikan preparing for their amusement park date.)
*This is a fan art of an owamiki post on Ultimate Ask Blog (@ultimateask):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
----
When I saw the amusement park date post, I thought their outfits were very nice, but in my opinion, Mondo doesn't like to wear such completely simple outfits, and Mikan doesn't like to wear revealing outfits, so I thought it was so cute if it was the case that Chihiro and Taka advised Mondo to dress more like a gentleman, and Ibuki advised Mikan to dress more fashionably, and that's why they wore those outfits. 🤭💕
I mean, I think it would be super cute if Mondo dressed less decorated and more mature for Mikan and Mikan dressed a little more flashy but hot for Mondo! XD
(I know Mondo was wearing the same outfit when they kissed in front of the fountain, but I wanted the Ultimates to recommend their respective outfits. Sorry for the inaccurate timeline!) If you want to know how they got together, search for the #owamiki tag on Ultimate Ask Blog and check out their cute story! 💖

Do you have any headcanons for the UF brothers for your lovebuggs AU?
Barely 😔 I've been working so much my daydreaming is down the drain and it's draining me
Draining hehe
BUT HERES WHAT I DO HAVE
Fell paps would be demanding and worried as all hell for their bonded, doesn't like letting them go out without an escort hell probably doesn't even like them touching the ground and carries them all the time. He doesn't feel guilty for being violent as much as he would if he weren't sick, and you can tell he's about to be violent because he goes from loud and belligerent to eerily quiet the span of moments. Still can't help but keep his bonded at their best tho, regularly scheduled meals, workout regimens and grass touching appointments are nonnegotiable
He does not sleep, beloved around or not, he has to be awake to keep watch and protect them, so he's often exhausted, and this lack of sleep may result in him seeing things or becoming paranoid, worsening his protective nature. This can be fixed by begging and pleading with him to just take a quick nap, a short rest, he'll only agree if you sleep with him in his tangle of limbs or maybe even bound in a blanket burrito to keep you from escaping. He'll sleep for a good while to recharge his bones but if you wriggle a tiny bit too much he /will/ wake up.
Id say a good way to distract him for a while is to tell him the house feels dirty or something, he'll go on a cleaning spree, nest must be spotless but you only have about forty-five minutes of freedom before he comes breaking down your door again
Fell sans would probably be a little shit, moreso than usual. Maybe even a little hyperactive, his lovebugg feeding not only off of the bond between he and his beloved but the excess magic that wafts off of him due to stress, meaning he has plenty of energy to invade his bonded's space. Doesn't care if they doesn't want him following them around, not like they can protect themselves, not like they can stop em, he's trying to keep them safe in his own, mean, bullyish way. Even if he has to hide a few bodies or delete a few contacts in your phone he's doing what's best for a weak lil thing like you
Fells general lack of self expression and the distance he keeps from others would also be changed, he'd be ontop of his bonded, constantly, cuddles kisses hugs or he gets an attitude and makes it their problem, missing belongings, grumbling in the corner until he gets what he wants, questionably harmless pranks, the whole mile.
He behaves when given the affection he craves so much tho, perfectly harmless to their beloved when his parasite is well fed and at peace, besides the occasional nip he gives them for the sake of his cuteness aggression, hes no danger to his bonded, just those around them, his distrust of every other living thing in their vicinity could prove an issue. It can come off as jealousy but it's much more akin to food guarding
A good way to distract him for a while would probably be to just hold him until he falls asleep, he'll be out like a light, but when he wakes up and realizes his bonded gone he may have some choice words for them (some whines and questions of if you even love him 😔)
God I love these guys I need to DRAW THEM THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING

Hi! For the ask game, sukuita or goyuu? Whichever you feel like answering.
I also recently discovered your fics and I'm in the process of binge reading them. Your ideas are so fun and interesting.
Thank you!! I'm very glad to hear you're enjoying my fics, and it's always very flattering to hear the ideas are interesting 💗
Sukuita
Ship It
What made you ship it?
When I was reading JJK's description and after I saw the first episode, I thought I might end up shipping these two because the dynamic seemed so interesting. And then I watched/read the whole thing, and well, I wound up shipping it but not as my main ship and not how I usually ship. Sukuita is one of the few pairings I'm into where I don't want a happy ending or anything harmonious, just the two characters taking their hate and rage out on each other. I find it deeply compelling from that angle and that angle alone.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
So, the thing is, this is one of those pairings I ship in a very specific way—namely, I want them to try and rip each other apart, and dicks can be involved, as a bonus. It's why the current manga developments are highly pleasing to me. I just think it's fun when they blur the lines between sex and murderous violence.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Oh, many, but I think my most unpopular opinion is that I find happy sukuita to be fundamentally unappealing, even in AU settings. Whether they're brothers, demon-and-vessel, or mundane lovers, I want them to be tearing into each other.
Goyuu
Ship It
What made you ship it?
I don't just ship it, I'm pretty sure it's in my bloodstream now. I have not gone this insane for a pairing ever, and it's a mix of factors that's making me write and plot like a demon, but god, the end result is borderline insanity. It initially piqued my interest at a purely superficial level when Gojou kept casually invading Yuuji's space while looking and acting like he had zero innocent intentions, but it was Yuuji's first death at the detention center and their interactions afterward that really got me into it. There's amazing chemistry there, simply as two people who get along, and I love how they treat each other, from the beginning to the end.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
For all our sakes, I'll stick to one aspect, or I'll write a whole essay. I love how they humanize each other from the get-go and how that never really changes. Gojou's the strongest sorcerer, acknowledged by everyone to exist on a level beyond other humans, and to Yuuji, he's first and foremost his beloved teacher. Even after Yuuji learns what Gojou's capable of, he sees Gojou as a fellow human being who needs support like they all do. In Shibuya and after, his desperation to save Gojou and willingness to even die for it just fucking murder me. And the immediate attachment Gojou displays toward Yuuji is just as compelling. He says why early on, in the crematorium: He simply likes people like Yuuji. And he shows it through and through. The first and one of the few instances of true anger we see from Gojou is when Yuuji dies, despite only having known him for two weeks at the time, and he exhibits that attachment and affection, as well as faith in Yuuji, throughout the story.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
My, uh, entire JJK catalog on Ao3 is an unpopular* take on goyuu 😂
*Compared to the fandom norms that is, as people often like to let me know. The fics themselves are doing fine, and the vast majority of my readers are lovely.
Ask can be found game here.

"Care for a bug?"
Trying to get more comfortable showing my other Crygors since I actually have eight of them but Diverged is the most beloved. So introducing the Crygor I'm the most self conscious of DKJJGN
Meet Dr. Kilrait and his critters Selene and Mauve! They're actually much bigger and tower over Kilrait, just wanted to draw them little and small
(you can see the decrease in quality as I became more and more self conscious about them SGKGH)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This au everyone is assigned a creature that people deem as scary or undesirable. Crygor (named Kilrait) is a snake, Orbulon (named Selene) is a mosquito and Mike (named Mauve) is a tarantula. It doesn't really have a story, it's mainly a series of bizarre and horror-inspired scenarios. But there is some backstory
(Character descriptions + basic backstories. CW for near death mentions & mistreatment/implied ab*se for Selene)
Dr. Kilrait (he/him - name pending) is this world's Crygor, based off a Malayan Krait, he's a happy go lucky and affectionate doctor who specialises in surgery and entomology. He cares for his patients amazingly and has extraordinary talents, he aims to change the future of humanity and make the world a better place.
However, he's hiding something underneath- he was born with the inability to feel pain or fear, attempting to change his own biology to the point of obsession. In attempt to gain these feelings, he has begun experiments where he puts healthy and consenting participants into near death situations to monitor and try to mimic their reactions. He truly has no ill intent and makes sure these patients are completely safe during & after these tests, paying for treatment for any mental trauma they may recieve from such tests- he just feels incomplete and wrong without feeling these "truly human" emotions and he'll do anything to change it, even if it means tearing his life to shreds to achieve it.
Mauve (he/him) is Dr. Kilrait's mechanical Metallic Blue Tarantula son and this world's Mike, created to ease the ever-growing internal isolation and loneliness his creator suffers from. Typically very cynical and a skeptic, but aids his father without question. Trusts his dad's every word with no further thought or hesitation since he is Mauve's only window to human society. He may seem cold, but truly he's also quite loving like his father- however he's far less doting, Kilrait is extremely doting towards anyone he goes attached to but especially Mauve. He's all Kilrait has...
A few years ago, Mauve offered himself as a test subject to ensure the equipment for Kilrait's fear tests were safe for human. Everything was going well until something malfunctioned and almost ended the robot, this was the closest Kilrait has felt true terror as he cradled his son's injured body. He is physically okay, but it has left a mental scar on them both - causing Kilrait to only become more protective.
Selene (they/them) is Mauve's spouse and this world's Orbulon, based off a mosquito, they are very snide and vindictive. Suffering from extreme trust issues due to past mistreatment and pain, taught to be a vampire and drain others of their life (literally and emotionally/mentally) - but their cruel nature encases a gentle and affectionate soul, Mauve is slowly cracking away at their shell so they can finally be themselves again without paranoia.
After being left to rot by one they considered to be their true love, Selene decided to close themselves off to never suffer like that again, turning to tormenting others to ease their unpleasant feelings and began working in shady business in disguises. One night, Selene encountered Mauve while attempting to dig dirt up on Kilrait for a paying client, attempting to scare information out of the spider- they were only met with lighthearted amusement and friendly gestures, catching Selene completely off guard. It turned into a pleasant conversation between them and Selene decided to not ruin Kilrait's life for Mauve's sake. Afterwards, they kept meeting up and eventually fell in love as Mauve gently lowered their walls.

Beril Pozam is facing a heckling because of her character Suna Sonmez
It seems that rumors that our KaySun pairing that was so beloved in turk.dizi might not be happening.
Gossip has surfaced on the web about Taro Emir Tekin, the actor who plays Kaya, leaving due to the fact that this character is given little screen time.
Also this decision can support his partner Beril Pozam, who plays Suna - she, as well as fans, does not like what turned her heroine. The girl decided to follow the example of Mert Ramazan Demir and threaten the producers with early termination of the contract!
The makers see how fast the ratings of the show are falling and try to raise the ratings with the help of the SeyFer couple, forgetting that the reason for the low ratings is the absurd script, but they do nothing about it.
What Suna and Kaya have to face is not liked not only by the fans but also by the actors themselves. Both Beril and Taro are happy that they have loyal fans who have been supporting them since the launch of season 2. They both support the hashtag #KaySun and don't want a divorce. Otherwise, their departure will turn out to be a disaster for ratings because millions of fans will abandon the show along with them 🤔
However, the situation is aggravated more because of the wave of heath criticism towards Suna's character and the actress who plays Beril Pozam. This is the kind of thing that Buche Buse Kahraman is facing. Wishing death to an actor because of a poorly written role or script goes beyond any bounds of decency. It's one thing to play a negative character, but that doesn't mean the actor himself is such.
Who should be blamed are the writers, who change one after the other: it was Leila at the beginning who wrote the second season, then Gunther or someone else.
More than once, the TarBer tandem has proven itself to be one of the best that season 2 has brought us!👏🔥❤️‍🩹
And many viewers kept watching season 2 for the sake of the KaiSun couple
I can only hope that when "Yalıçapkını" ends, they will get other projects and can get away from filming that show.
🖇️ Journalist Birsen Altuntash: "OGM really wants to renew #Yalıçapkını for another season."
So there's no telling what will happen next.....

Narratively, I think we could get a lot of mileage off Tilín and JuanaFlippa’s return. I’m gonna make bullet points for this because. There’s so many possibilities.
Quackity is missing and nobody really knows where he is or if he’s going to be okay. Except for elQuackity, who loves/loved Tilín but is now affiliated with the federation and is working towards a (likely sinister) goal that could potentially be a direct threat to Tilín’s wellbeing. Will he be forced to choose between his commitment to the Federation and protecting his kid? Is he even able to back out at this point? He’s had so little to lose up until now, and his response to Tilín’s return could reveal a lot about the person he’s become.
The Gegg situation with Slime. Gegg was originally created by Charlie as a way to become someone unburdened by the guilt, shame, and grief he felt after accidentally killing Tilín and losing Flippa a second time. He feels that Gegg is taking over his life, but he hasn’t really been fighting against it because he seems to think that, as himself, he is fundamentally unlovable and that Gegg ultimately has more value than he does. But Gegg isn’t Flippa’s father. Gegg isn’t Tilín’s uncle. Charlie is. And they both love him unconditionally. He finally has a reason to truly fight to regain control of his life. Character acting is where Slimecicle (the irl content creator) really shines, so this kind of plot would be perfect for him to really go ham with it.
We’d get to see Mariana again! Despite the language barrier between him and a lot of the fans and CCs that don’t speak Spanish, he’s managed to become a beloved and compelling character that has a lot of really strong relationship dynamics with the other characters, even in the comparatively short amount of time he’s spent on the server. The general headcanon as to why nobody’s seen him in so long is that his character has been depressed and self-isolating all this time and the other characters are giving him space, and I would love to see an exploration of whether he’ll seek to pull himself out of the spiral for Flippa’s sake or try to distance himself even more out of fear that he’ll accidentally hurt her again. Even if it gets proven that his mistake shouldn’t have been fatal to his daughter, he might have internalized the idea that JuanaFlippa will be better off without him around, which is so deliciously heartbreaking. Mariana having to confront and overcome that belief would be really compelling methinks.
And then there’s JuanaFlippa and Tilín themselves. A lot has changed in the time they’ve been gone. In comparison to the other eggs, we’ve had so little time to watch them develop as characters, which has always really bummed me out, because they both had a lot of potential. We barely had the chance to get a read on their personalities before they both died really tragically. So many of the narratives involving them were left totally unresolved, and that sucks.
^Arguably Trump had this even worse and I really wish the admins had decided to roll back his final death, but that’s a different conversation entirely.
Jaiden and Roier had kind of unofficially adopted Tilín, giving them a really fun sibling dynamic with Bobby. Tilín reuniting with the the Animations family could be so, so bittersweet. Did Tilín get to reunite with Bobby after he died? How will she react to the realization that the Roier’s house, one of the only places where she could feel surrounded by family, now sits quiet and empty? Given the absence of qQuackity and the… whatever the fuck is going on with elQuackity, perhaps Jaiden and Roier will claim custody of Tilín. It would be funny to see whether judgmental little Tilín approves of Roier’s new husband and stepson. And also I guess Roier’s three.. wait, four(?) new husbands-in-law(???). How many fucking leches would that even be?
qBBH, QSMP’s supernanny supreme, has stated multiple times that he wishes he’d stepped in to care for and protect both Flippa and Tilín. He’s also remarked that he’d have very little faith in Slime, Mariana, or Quackity to reliably protect and care for their respective children, if said children were ever resurrected. And he isn’t exactly wrong. If Tilín and Flippa come back, Bad’s pretty much guaranteed to get involved, whether their parents want it or not. I can’t help but wonder how the two resurrected eggs themselves will feel about the grim reaper watching over them, having both experienced the trauma of death firsthand? 🤔
I think I had more points to make here but I didn’t write fast enough. My train of thought left the station a while ago. But uh. Look, man. Monkey brain wants to see those little eggy fellas again. Please. 🥺

Hullo!
Just wanted to say that your blog is really cool! I’ve been back on and off in my Tolkien hyperfixation recently (mainly Silm but overall also works), and yours is one of the few that caught my eye, esp with the pinned post :)
Tho, I’m sorry that you seem to be attacked for shipping Angbang “wrong”, that’s just sad
Just because you have a different outlook on things doesn’t give others the right to attack you for it. But, some people apparently don’t have enough empathy and/or sympathy to see that :/
I know it’s so much easier said than done, but try ignoring those people? They will have a problem no matter what you do, the way I see it, so might as well enjoy the thing you do regardless, since it’s not hurting anybody, right?
So… I hope you have a good timezone, and hopefully people will educate themselves on basic kindness and respect soon :)
- Dragon Anon
Been sitting on this one for a few days without posting because I needed to stare at it one on one and think how to best reply to it.
Unfortunately, time did not help as I have nothing wittier or more thought provoking to say to any of your points than I did upon receiving this so I may as well post this now rather than have you waiting.
I could apologize for this blog catching your interest, rather than all the good ones. I could apologize because I produce no stunning art or amazing fics beloved by all and have no large variety of silm ships to offer you. This was supposed to be an Ainur blog more broadly, but hard times directed me to my comfort ship within the silm and I've stuck with posting it to the detriment of all else for... a while. There are so many wonderful silm blogs for you to find and enjoy. With more Ainur and Eldar and dwarves and men. Some of them I wish with all my heart would tag content relating to specific ships or characters so I could filter it more easily and join the rest of the community in enjoying them as well.
While I'm personally exhausted to the point of snapping at the prospect of being harassed over my ship takes, I do need to remember that this is the internet, and someone out there will always use the veil of anonymity to bring others down. And naturally, if there has to be one specific and certain ship within this fandom which gets all the mockery and vitriol for being "the one people should be discouraged from shipping", I suppose it's only natural for it to be the one with the bad people in it, rather than a more beloved ship favored by more people. And if anyone within that "bad" ship is going to get hate, of course the easiest target is some autistic foreigner whose takes are generally bizarre in the eyes of the wider public ("What?! someone who did something BAD is capable of FEELINGS?!?!? and of maintaining a happy relationship?!? how dare you!"). People see any nuance given to villains, any nuance given to villains in a RELATIONSHIP, heck, people see any joy and genuine love attributed to these characters and they just have to pounce.
I just never understood why every other Villain loves Villain ship in any and all fandoms on the planet get more grace and nuance than this one. Silm is largely supposed to be the more "adult" fandom in the legendarium. We have no visual media to popularize it, so it remains in the hands of the older fans who read the book and had to sit down with their thoughts about what was written in it. And yet other fandoms, including ones aimed at children or young teens are more accepting and less judgmental of their peers when it comes to shipping some fictional meanies.
Ignoring them IS difficult. Every time I get a notification about an ask in my inbox or a direct message, of course I want to assume the best. I welcome the prospect of an open conversation with anyone who agrees OR disagrees with me and I want to leave the door open to people who want to change my mind or even their own mind, in good faith. It's just aggravating to see that half of them are simply offensive for the sake of being offensive. Because I'd post them if they didn't have nasty terms in them aimed at real living people. I'd have the conversation. Instead, it's nothing but a demotivation campaign that drains me of my desire to interact with the wider fandom or post my own ideas anywhere. But I suppose you're right. No matter what I do, how hard I try to fit myself to one opinion or another, some people will still never be happy about it. The sooner I make my peace with it, the better. Maybe one day it will be easier to do. Maybe one day I'll get there on my own.
Regardless, thank you for all of this.

The cup of tea was warm in his hands. The few leaves that had escaped the strainer floating placidly on the surface. Esti focussed on their gentle paths, swirling the cup occasionally to keep them moving as for every second he was focused on them he could avoid looking at his mother across the table from him.
Corvus was the image of matronly patience as she waited for him to break the silence. Her own cup on the table in front of her, neatly sat on its little plate like it was to be the third participant in what Esti was predicting to be an absolutely miserable conversation.
"I love him," Esti started. It was a fact. It deserved to go first. He only said it because he knew it would be the absolute last thing she would want to hear.
"I'm aware."
Her plan wasn't difficult to parse out. She needed him on his back foot and knew nothing was harder for him than having to ask for what he wanted. Especially when it went so far against the will of who he was asking for it from. She would deny him either way, but making him ask meant he wouldn't ask so him failing this negotiation would be wholly his fault instead of her refusing to just let them be happy-
"I'll allow you to marry him so long as you give me a way to keep you safe."
"What?" Esti couldn't believe what his brain was telling him he'd heard her say.
"Did you already change your mind?" The teasing smile on her voice was full of the summer night warmth he'd almost forgotten she was capable of.
"No! No- Of course not. But, really? I- Thank you," he bumbled through a few words as every question and expression of gratitude tied themselves in knots in their race to his tongue.
"Yes, Esti. Pavo is... not my first choice for you, but he argued his case and made a few promises that, should he keep his end of the deal, were too good for our people for me to refuse," she sighed and rested her hands palm up on the table between them, a silent invitation that Esti gladly accepted. He set his cup aside and placed his in hers. His deep grey skin looking so much lighter than it was against the true light eating darkness of hers. "I hope he is good to you. I hope and wish and pray to every deity that might listen to my words as though they are coming just from a mother instead of one who is a demon as well, that he proves me wrong in every way," she squeezes his hands, "I worry I am sacrificing you to a monster for the sake of those who pretend you aren't my eldest son. I want to be wrong, but I still worry."
"You are, I- I promise it Mother. He's kind to me. He's never once been a monster to me and he never will be. I swear it."
"Do you think the brides slaughtered by their beloveds thought they were beasts before they sent them weeping to their graves? You can not know he will remain kind... That's why my approval of your marriage to him is conditional."
He felt a twinge of something curl in the back of his gut. Suspicion or anxiety or some worry he may not be able to give her what he needs to to have the groom he desires more than a bat with shredded wings desired the open air of the night sky.
"All I ask is that you give me a way to bring you home should he prove unworthy of your love. Tell me how to see through the wards that keep his village hiddencfrom demon-kind so that I can come save my son should he ever need me to."
Esti swallowed hard, trying to drown out they growing growling feeling with the hope and joy earning her permission will bring him. If sharing one secret was all it took to have Pavo's hand he couldn't possibly deny her it right? It was just one secret.
"In the clearing before the gate, face away from it and walk forwards while making yourself believe that you will pass through it. When you should be stood below the archway make the sigil of his house in the air before you. You will be within the village when you take your next step," his dread built with every word.
She let go of his hands. Her next action was nearly lost to the thick shadows that clung to her fingers, but still, he saw her remove the wedding band his father had proposed to her with.
"Thank you, I know what sorts of suspicions he has probably filled you with, so I hope this will be a strong enough gesture to convince you I do truly intend to only use that information if he goes back on his promises of your safety in his care," she sets the ring on the table before him. "I would like it if you proposed to him here in your maiden home so that we may celebrate the engagement as a family. As you do not just have my permission, but my blessing as well."
The ring didn't feel real when he picked it up. It was heavy in his hand, and warm from her skin. The metal hard and smooth and the gems glittered in their settings, but it still didn't feel real.
He had spent weeks pacing and trying to think up back up plans for his back up plans. Never, in any of his anxious strategizing had he thought she would say yes without an argument about avoiding war and breaking his heart. Even then, her blessing was something he had written off completely. A quick disowning was what he presumed would be the best result not... this.
She came around the table and wrapped him in a hug as she shushed him. He hadn't even realized he had begun to cry.
"Thank you. Thank you. I- I I have nothing else, just thank you," he leaned against her, wiping at his eyes and trying valiantly to stop his tears. The relief and elation drowned out his worry. Of course he was just being paranoid. Of course she wanted nothing but what was best for their family. He tried to apologize for doubting her, but his blubbering mangled the words beyond what was recognizable.
Corvus chuckled and rubbed his shoulder when she let go. "Go now. Your groom is probably planning something stupid. Give him the news before he has time to act on those plans."
Esti nodded, and was on his feet in a stumbling trot to the door before he could think himself into a new anxiety spiral.
Beyond the door, Pavo leaned against the wall, his agrivated grimace turning to an expression of worry as he saw the tears. Esti was in his arms and burrying his face against Pavo's chest before he had time to demand to know what had happened.
Any thought of grand romantic gestures Esti might have had were eaten by his eagerness as he grabbed for Pavo's hand the instant he could bare to back away enough to do so. Wordlessly he put the ring on Pavo's little finger, the band being sized for someone with much finer hands barely fit but the implications of the action still rung loud and clear.
Pavo looked between the ring and Esti and Corvus. His worry turning to surprise then to the same elation Esti clearly felt as he wrapped him in his arms again. Heftig him up and spinning him with giddy love sick glee. Cackling his acceptance of the proposal and looking more like a person than Corvus had ever seen him as before.
Pavo barely set Esti back down on his feet, still not letting him go, before he was addressing her, "Thank you. You won't regret this. I swear it on my life that I will keep him safer and happier than anyone else could, and if I fail that it will be my own blade I fall too."

augh been sitting around and doing more thinking and what really irks me is that there are just. people here who seemingly exist just to suck the joy outta shit and get away scott free about it
like? i dont understand how these people just.. operate like that. they come in and see something beloved and decide ‘hmmmm but what if i was miserable about it all the time’ and then drag other people down with them
kinda like. i keep trying to restart my love for tcw and its just. Not Giving. i adore omura i love what ive done with anakin im still so excited about mace and heaven forbid i remember any of my clones yet every time i go back to open those wips im like damn. whats gonna happen if i post these. not even because theyre bad but because theyre atypical. i look at canon and decide it isnt enough or i dont like it and i change it to something i, personally, enjoy more
but the fun part is that requires nuance. context clues. inferences. it requires some people we love being wrong and digging their heels in about it in an unfair manner! and thats all apart of the storytelling but fucks sake some people really wont know how to handle themselves with that
it just really kinda. baffles me because why cant people remember the whole entire dldr …….. is it really that hard tho. doing so much work and bringing myself so much joy and then getting smacked w ‘oh this one particular loudass wouldnt like this’ and no matter how much i steel myself into the WRITE FOR YOURSELF schtick i truly believe in its still like a really weird kick in the gut?
or lmh i want to salvage relationships my characters had or salvage the character entirely because people i deeply trusted have just come in and enmeshed themselves completely with that character and their very essence and then do some bullshit that has me giving the equivalent of a no-contact notice on them. and then im stuck here like well am i going to salvage the character i spent months and months and months developing or am i going to waste that time and scrap them? am i going up upcycle them somehow?
and then like. yeah ive mostly moved on out of that area but then it leeches over and it follows and then i still miss it. i miss actually getting to hold my promise of doing whatever i want without feeling like someone is peeking over my shit or trying to submit my stuff to a fucking council of dickbags. :/

The Starry Love ep 35, 36 thoughts
Did anyone suspect that Husui/Suzhi was going to kill 2 guards? And then the 2 couples just let it go? Even though she's been through some stuff in her past which made her this way, I don't trust her anymore. She's willing to do anything to protect the girls and while I'm for that she can present a risk.
The enemies are surrounding our couples. There are very few places they can escape to. It seems like they'll always be on the run, unless…
Ganging up on the weakest emperor? Cheap move, guys! Not cool.
Then the girls decide to go for the offensive! Ooh. Risky plan, but it's a change from all of the running they've been doing.
I sense a heavenly divorce is on the way after the empress marched into the Ninth Heaven Hall. And then everyone is telling the emperor,"stop, don't do this." Then to make things even more embarrassing, the Void Tyrant mocks him. "Can't keep your women in line?"
I think the Immortal emperor does care for his empress. He's just an asshole, too.
Reunion scene in the mortal realm was cute! Haichou got rejected! And then the boys can call the emperor "father-in-law"!
Woah. Mood change (but unsurprising nonetheless). The boys are captured, and the emperors decided to play it smart and take on the girls alone.
Not Qingkui! She was the best of them! She deserved better! Noooo!!
It IS a fantasy drama. Maybe she could come back? Please?
What an ending! The two guys are passed out from overworking themselves to save their beloveds. At least Yetan was saved by Youqin before he fell to the black sand.
When Yetan wakes up and is calling for her sister, my heart breaks. She just lost her friend and now her sister. The pain is too much. Both times she can't accept it because both girls were right there with her the whole time. Loss of a life is new and terrible. I hope, if just for Yetan's sake, no one else dies.
The Immortal emperor again on his high horse talking down to his son. We don't like him and after the "I wish you hadn't been revived just to fall in love with a mortal woman" line, we REALLY don't like him. And after he sealed Youqin's memory we are starting to hate him, aren't we?
The Immortal Turtle is back. For the record, I'm not excited about this. I like Youqin much better when he had emotions and was in lurv. This earlier version of Youqin is just fun to make fun of.
Void Queen comes to gloat, push Chaofeng around and destroy the necklace he gave Qingkui! He cries and so would I. You've got to hand it to the villains of this drama. They don't just give our favorite characters pain, but they love to relive that pain and make them suffer.
Hmmm. Yes, I see that you're trying to get power from a root using your blood. Would you to try a dose of sanity instead?! Yetan, don't just give into pure rage! And Suzhi, why did you put this ridiculous idea into a grieving girl's heart?
Yetan has joined the Void gang! While we all should take a moment to reflect that this is probably a bad idea, let's also admire Yetan's makeup and outfit. She looks good for the bad girl. She is rocking that black and purple.
Yetan has become the Void Devil she always wanted to be. Her power is immense and the way she walks into the Void Palace like a boss bitch and owns everyone is awesome. However, this comes with loss, friends and family dead and physical pain endured. No one could have predicted this outcome.
Yetan doesn't waste time. The throne isn't even cold yet and already she's claiming territory.
After the revenge taken and the throne of the Void Realm taken, what could be next for the Immortal Turtle and his devil girlfriend? Their reunion, at least for her, is going to be painful.

My Currently [Or Recently Active] TTRPG OCs.
The best part of TTRPGs for me as a GM or a Player is making characters. As a story teller I have always been a character driven woman and I've always enjoyed a big cast of characters since I really enjoy characters in general. I wanted to share some of the characters I've been really enjoying playing as recently while I've been playing TTRPGs.
Feel free to share yours as a reblog and if you like my OCs and want to see work featuring these or similar characters in the future you could run on over to my patreon or ko-fi and help me have the money to make more cool art.

Arma Guardiana [She/Gay]
System: The Watch
Playbook: The Lioness
Arma has recently been turned into an NPC for the story the next character is in but I still wanted to go over my poor traumatized transbian. Once, Arma was in love with a girl named Elspeth. They were from separate flocks, ones that had a centuries long grudge but she demanded their love be respected and it was at the very least tolerated. Traveling together with a group to gather resources for their peoples Elspeth was among the first few to be corrupted by The Shadow, a force that turned men into terrible monsters and seeked turning others mostly into things of beauty of objects.
Arma defeated the corrupted Elspeth but didn't kill her hoping she would return to normal one day. She joined The Watch a group of women set to fight The Shadow taking care of her own Talon of Soliders. Eventually leading to her facing off against Elspeth once again only now she was far more powerful, thinking she was totally lost she killed her only to find she was in fact still in there, knowing there was some way to heal her she had not thought of.
After that battle she was even more jaded defying orders to face the Shadow at it's source with her talon. Together they defeated it removing it's sway over their continent but refused a hero status becoming a wander after suddenly taking care of a baby.

The Case Against Travel
It turns us into the worst version of ourselves while convincing us that we’re at our best.
By Agnes Callard
June 24, 2023
What is the most uninformative statement that people are inclined to make? My nominee would be “I love to travel.” This tells you very little about a person, because nearly everyone likes to travel; and yet people say it, because, for some reason, they pride themselves both on having travelled and on the fact that they look forward to doing so.
The opposition team is small but articulate. G. K. Chesterton wrote that “travel narrows the mind.” Ralph Waldo Emerson called travel “a fool’s paradise.” Socrates and Immanuel Kant—arguably the two greatest philosophers of all time—voted with their feet, rarely leaving their respective home towns of Athens and Königsberg. But the greatest hater of travel, ever, was the Portuguese writer Fernando Pessoa, whose wonderful “Book of Disquiet” crackles with outrage:
I abhor new ways of life and unfamiliar places. . . . The idea of travelling nauseates me. . . . Ah, let those who don’t exist travel! . . . Travel is for those who cannot feel. . . . Only extreme poverty of the imagination justifies having to move around to feel.
If you are inclined to dismiss this as contrarian posturing, try shifting the object of your thought from your own travel to that of others. At home or abroad, one tends to avoid “touristy” activities. “Tourism” is what we call travelling when other people are doing it. And, although people like to talk about their travels, few of us like to listen to them. Such talk resembles academic writing and reports of dreams: forms of communication driven more by the needs of the producer than the consumer.
One common argument for travel is that it lifts us into an enlightened state, educating us about the world and connecting us to its denizens. Even Samuel Johnson, a skeptic—“What I gained by being in France was, learning to be better satisfied with my own country,” he once said—conceded that travel had a certain cachet. Advising his beloved Boswell, Johnson recommended a trip to China, for the sake of Boswell’s children: “There would be a lustre reflected upon them. . . . They would be at all times regarded as the children of a man who had gone to view the wall of China.”
Travel gets branded as an achievement: see interesting places, have interesting experiences, become interesting people. Is that what it really is?
Pessoa, Emerson, and Chesterton believed that travel, far from putting us in touch with humanity, divorced us from it. Travel turns us into the worst version of ourselves while convincing us that we’re at our best. Call this the traveller’s delusion.
To explore it, let’s start with what we mean by “travel.” Socrates went abroad when he was called to fight in the Peloponnesian War; even so, he was no traveller. Emerson is explicit about steering his critique away from a person who travels when his “necessities” or “duties” demand it. He has no objection to traversing great distances “for the purpose of art, of study, and benevolence.” One sign that you have a reason to be somewhere is that you have nothing to prove, and therefore no drive to collect souvenirs, photos, or stories to prove it. Let’s define “tourism” as the kind of travel that aims at the interesting—and, if Emerson and company are right, misses.
“A tourist is a temporarily leisured person who voluntarily visits a place away from home for the purpose of experiencing a change.” This definition is taken from the opening of “Hosts and Guests,” the classic academic volume on the anthropology of tourism. The last phrase is crucial: touristic travel exists for the sake of change. But what, exactly, gets changed? Here is a telling observation from the concluding chapter of the same book: “Tourists are less likely to borrow from their hosts than their hosts are from them, thus precipitating a chain of change in the host community.” We go to experience a change, but end up inflicting change on others.
For example, a decade ago, when I was in Abu Dhabi, I went on a guided tour of a falcon hospital. I took a photo with a falcon on my arm. I have no interest in falconry or falcons, and a generalized dislike of encounters with nonhuman animals. But the falcon hospital was one of the answers to the question, “What does one do in Abu Dhabi?” So I went. I suspect that everything about the falcon hospital, from its layout to its mission statement, is and will continue to be shaped by the visits of people like me—we unchanged changers, we tourists. (On the wall of the foyer, I recall seeing a series of “excellence in tourism” awards. Keep in mind that this is an animal hospital.)
Why might it be bad for a place to be shaped by the people who travel there, voluntarily, for the purpose of experiencing a change? The answer is that such people not only do not know what they are doing but are not even trying to learn. Consider me. It would be one thing to have such a deep passion for falconry that one is willing to fly to Abu Dhabi to pursue it, and it would be another thing to approach the visit in an aspirational spirit, with the hope of developing my life in a new direction. I was in neither position. I entered the hospital knowing that my post-Abu Dhabi life would contain exactly as much falconry as my pre-Abu Dhabi life—which is to say, zero falconry. If you are going to see something you neither value nor aspire to value, you are not doing much of anything besides locomoting.
Tourism is marked by its locomotive character. “I went to France.” O.K., but what did you do there? “I went to the Louvre.” O.K., but what did you do there? “I went to see the ‘Mona Lisa.’ ” That is, before quickly moving on: apparently, many people spend just fifteen seconds looking at the “Mona Lisa.” It’s locomotion all the way down.
The peculiar rationality of tourists allows them to be moved both by a desire to do what they are supposed to do in a place and a desire to avoid precisely what they are supposed to do. This is how it came to pass that, on my first trip to Paris, I avoided both the “Mona Lisa” and the Louvre. I did not, however, avoid locomotion. I walked from one end of the city to the other, over and over again, in a straight line; if you plotted my walks on a map, they would have formed a giant asterisk. In the many great cities I have actually lived and worked in, I would never consider spending whole days walking. When you travel, you suspend your usual standards for what counts as a valuable use of time. You suspend other standards as well, unwilling to be constrained by your taste in food, art, or recreational activities. After all, you say to yourself, the whole point of travelling is to break out of the confines of everyday life. But, if you usually avoid museums, and suddenly seek them out for the purpose of experiencing a change, what are you going to make of the paintings? You might as well be in a room full of falcons.
Let’s delve a bit deeper into how, exactly, the tourist’s project is self-undermining. I’ll illustrate with two examples from “The Loss of the Creature,” an essay by the writer Walker Percy.
First, a sightseer arriving at the Grand Canyon. Before his trip, an idea of the canyon—a “symbolic complex”—had formed in his mind. He is delighted if the canyon resembles the pictures and postcards he has seen; he might even describe it as “every bit as beautiful as a picture postcard!” But, if the lighting is different, the colors and shadows not those which he expects, he feels cheated: he has arrived on a bad day. Unable to gaze directly at the canyon, forced to judge merely whether it matches an image, the sightseer “may simply be bored; or he may be conscious of the difficulty: that the great thing yawning at his feet somehow eludes him.”
Second, a couple from Iowa driving around Mexico. They are enjoying the trip, but are a bit dissatisfied by the usual sights. They get lost, drive for hours on a rocky mountain road, and eventually, “in a tiny valley not even marked on the map,” stumble upon a village celebrating a religious festival. Watching the villagers dance, the tourists finally have “an authentic sight, a sight which is charming, quaint, picturesque, unspoiled.” Yet they still feel some dissatisfaction. Back home in Iowa, they gush about the experience to an ethnologist friend: You should have been there! You must come back with us! When the ethnologist does, in fact, return with them, “the couple do not watch the goings-on; instead they watch the ethnologist! Their highest hope is that their friend should find the dance interesting.” They need him to “certify their experience as genuine.”
The tourist is a deferential character. He outsources the vindication of his experiences to the ethnologist, to postcards, to conventional wisdom about what you are or are not supposed to do in a place. This deference, this “openness to experience,” is exactly what renders the tourist incapable of experience. Emerson confessed, “I seek the Vatican, and the palaces. I affect to be intoxicated with sights and suggestions, but I am not intoxicated.” He speaks for every tourist who has stood before a monument, or a painting, or a falcon, and demanded herself to feel something. Emerson and Percy help us understand why this demand is unreasonable: to be a tourist is to have already decided that it is not one’s own feelings that count. Whether an experience is authentically X is precisely what you, as a non-X, cannot judge.
A similar argument applies to the tourist’s impulse to honor the grand sea of humanity. Whereas Percy and Emerson focus on the aesthetic, showing us how hard it is for travellers to have the sensory experiences that they seek, Pessoa and Chesterton are interested in the ethical. They study why travellers can’t truly connect to other human beings. During my Paris wanderings, I would stare at people, intently inspecting their clothing, their demeanor, their interactions. I was trying to see the Frenchness in the French people around me. This is not a way to make friends.
Pessoa said that he knew only one “real traveller with soul”: an office boy who obsessively collected brochures, tore maps out of newspapers, and memorized train schedules between far-flung destinations. The boy could recount sailing routes around the world, but he had never left Lisbon. Chesterton also approved of such stationary travellers. He wrote that there was “something touching and even tragic” about “the thoughtless tourist, who might have stayed at home loving Laplanders, embracing Chinamen, and clasping Patagonians to his heart in Hampstead or Surbiton, but for his blind and suicidal impulse to go and see what they looked like.”
The problem was not with other places, or with the man wanting to see them, but with travel’s dehumanizing effect, which thrust him among people to whom he was forced to relate as a spectator. Chesterton believed that loving what is distant in the proper fashion—namely, from a distance—enabled a more universal connection. When the man in Hampstead thought of foreigners “in the abstract . . . as those who labour and love their children and die, he was thinking the fundamental truth about them.” “The human bond that he feels at home is not an illusion,” Chesterton wrote. “It is rather an inner reality.” Travel prevents us from feeling the presence of those we have travelled such great distances to be near.
The single most important fact about tourism is this: we already know what we will be like when we return. A vacation is not like immigrating to a foreign country, or matriculating at a university, or starting a new job, or falling in love. We embark on those pursuits with the trepidation of one who enters a tunnel not knowing who she will be when she walks out. The traveller departs confident that she will come back with the same basic interests, political beliefs, and living arrangements. Travel is a boomerang. It drops you right where you started.
If you think that this doesn’t apply to you—that your own travels are magical and profound, with effects that deepen your values, expand your horizons, render you a true citizen of the globe, and so on—note that this phenomenon can’t be assessed first-personally. Pessoa, Chesterton, Percy, and Emerson were all aware that travellers tell themselves they’ve changed, but you can’t rely on introspection to detect a delusion. So cast your mind, instead, to any friends who are soon to set off on summer adventures. In what condition do you expect to find them when they return? They may speak of their travel as though it were transformative, a “once in a lifetime” experience, but will you be able to notice a difference in their behavior, their beliefs, their moral compass? Will there be any difference at all?
Travel is fun, so it is not mysterious that we like it. What is mysterious is why we imbue it with a vast significance, an aura of virtue. If a vacation is merely the pursuit of unchanging change, an embrace of nothing, why insist on its meaning?
One is forced to conclude that maybe it isn’t so easy to do nothing—and this suggests a solution to the puzzle. Imagine how your life would look if you discovered that you would never again travel. If you aren’t planning a major life change, the prospect looms, terrifyingly, as “More and more of this, and then I die.” Travel splits this expanse of time into the chunk that happens before the trip, and the chunk that happens after it, obscuring from view the certainty of annihilation. And it does so in the cleverest possible way: by giving you a foretaste of it. You don’t like to think about the fact that someday you will do nothing and be nobody. You will only allow yourself to preview this experience when you can disguise it in a narrative about how you are doing many exciting and edifying things: you are experiencing, you are connecting, you are being transformed, and you have the trinkets and photos to prove it.
Socrates said that philosophy is a preparation for death. For everyone else, there’s travel. ♦

Mitsuya, ever since he was younger wanted to become a fashion designer and in the face of all adversity he successed. He never complained about living situation, about never having time for himself, nor how he grew up too fast. How he was never able to just be a kid, he faced his problems head on and worked towards his dreams through it all.
He was an inspiration to everyone around him, his sisters, friends, and you.
Y/n Kataga, you met him during your third year of highschool. Your family had just moved to Japan due to a travel assignment your mom accepted. You had been adjusting to your new life in Japan, trying to figure out where things were, what's what. You were trying your best to adapt to the change, for your mom's sake. Lord knows how stress she has been, going through a divorce, raising 4 kids seemingly on her own. You wanted to help her out, even if it was just a little bit.
Your mother has been working so hard that she hasn't been able to explore Japan, going to work and straight home. It's been a few months since you moved to Japan, still being on summer break you didn't have to worry about school just yet. You made your brothers breakfast, cleaned the house, and set out to explore the city.
That's when you came across two little girls crying at the park, you went to see what was the matter with them. At first they were weary of you.
"N-Nii-san said not to talk to strangers..." The older one spoke up.
"Well, I'm a nice stranger who doesn't like seeing such pretty little girls cry. I just wanna help hm?" You spoke in your softest tone to gain the trust of the little girls.
They were still cautious of you but something told them they could trust you, they told you their names. Mana and Luna. They were absolutely adorable, you held the youngest one in your arm while holding the hand of the older one.
"So, what's does your big brother look like?" You asked the girls while walking around the block to see if you could find him, realizing without a description it would be a lot harder to spot him.
"Like a prince!" The little one cheered joyfully. You could only laugh at how she admired her older brother.
"Ey? Is that so?" You looked down at the older sister, she nodded aggressively agreeing with.
"Well, we can't just say we're looking for a prince can we? Any distinctive things about him?"
"Oh oh! He has purple hair!" Mana recalled.
"And he has piercings." Luna interjected, putting a finger to her chin thinking about other things that would help describe her brother, "and he's really tall!" She finished.
"So purple hair, tall, and piercings, got it." You repeated their description of their brother wondering just what type of person he really was. He seemed interesting in the least bit.
The morning sun slowly began to set as you and the girls walked around looking for this boy. You lot went in and out of stores asking around trying to find this mystery brother, you began to think that he left off without them. What a dick.
As the evening sun began to roll in the little girls grew tired, as did you. In the end you all ended up back at the park sitting on the bench with the girls crying themselves to sleep while laying on your lap fearful for what would happen to them.
You caressed their hair trying to comfort them as beads of tears landed onto your pants. Maybe you should file a missing children's report, you zoned out as you tried to think of ways to bring these children back to their parents or brother.
"Mana! Luna!" A gruff voice called out, through the corner of your eye you could see a tall boy running through the streets calling the names of the little girls now sleeping in your lap.
"O-over here!" You yelled waving your hands like a mad man to signal the young man. You caught his attention. He began to run over to the park. As he got closer you could see him, his piercings, the purple hair.. The way his skin looked in the evening light, he really did look like a prince.
"Mana, Luna, look it's your big brother." You softly shook the girls awake.
"Nii-san?" Luna muttered wiping the sleep from her eyes, she looked up and saw her brother standing running towards them.
"NII-SAN!" She shouted, almost tripping trying to get out of your lap she ran up to him hugging his legs.
"Nii-san, nii-san, nii-san." She chanted it like a mantra, "was so scared, thought you left us!" She cried out holding onto his legs as her tears fell.
"I would never leave you guys, never." He comforted her, bending down to her height enclosing her in tight hug. You watched this sentimental moment with a soft smiled curled on your lips.
"Mana, look." You whispered softly. She opened her eyes and saw her brother hugging her older sister.
"Nii-chan!!!" She exclaimed running to him hugging him tightly.
You got up from the bench, dusting yourself off. You looked at the girls and they seemed okay, it was time for you to head home. You turned the opposite way and began to walk off.
"W-Wait!" The boy called out. You hummed in question, turning around to face him. The boy gets up bringing his sisters with him.
"Mana tells me you looked all around the city with them to find me... Thank you." He says gratefully, he bows his head forcing his sisters' heads down in the process with his hands.
"I-its okay! Please lift your heads, seriously!" You stutter out, you lock your hands together behind your back feeling shy all of the sudden, "It wasn't a big deal, they were really sweet." You smiled. They lifted their hands, Mana and Luna locked hands with their older brother watching you with their beady eyes.
"They seem to really like you, they normally aren't so accepting of people." He confessed with a chuckle.
"Maybe I'm special." You smugly say.
"I'd say... Takes a different type of person to spend all day with kids you don't know, just go make sure they get home..." He pauses locking eyes with you, "you're amazing."
He's so genuine every word was spoken with respect and appreciation, you never seen this before in a guy. Not a hint of sarcasm, nothing. Just pure. You felt your face heat up as you locked eyes, you quickly averted your eyes turning your body the opposite direction.
"W-Well, I'm just happy they found you." You stuttered out once again, you covered your face with your hands feeling the heat seep through. How embarrassing. You suddenly shook as your pocket began to vibrate.
"Oh shit!" You closed your mouth, "I mean, oh crud...." You look back at the little girls hoping they didn't catch that. "I, I have to go!" You looked at your phone realizing you had over 60 messages and 9 missed calls from your mother. You began to run off waving goodbye before disappearing into the evening sun. You didn't even catch the young boy asking for your name.
When you made it home, you got yelled at for what seemed like hours. Your mother took your phone and any freedom you thought you had. It was fine though, at least those girls made it home, you didn't have to worry, yet they were still occupying your mind.
Much less they and more like, him. He was running through your mind, over and over you replayed your interaction feeling more and more embarrassed everytime you think about what you did. You felt your heart beat faster when you hear him repeat the words, "you're amazing".
You didn't think you'd see him again, but you did. It was spring, the flowers were blooming, bees were buzzing, birds chirping, sun shining as beautifully as ever and the only thing you could think about was that boy. You didn't even get his name. It's crazy how much a first impression will impact you. You wondered if he went to the same school as you, actually, you hoped so, but that would be too much of a coincidence, it will start to seem like you guys were.... Soulmates. You couldn't help but squeal at the idea, how perfect would your life be.
"Snap out of it!" You slapped your face as you stood outside your classroom, you took in deep breaths trying to calm yourself down. Your first class of the day, go in, make good impressions and you'll be able to make friends. You hoped, you prayed you didn't say anything too embarrassing.
The first introduction went smoothly, despite stuttering a couple of times. You even got a few numbers from some girls in the class who liked the way you did your hair. Things were going great, only, your dream boy wasn't here. Why would he be? Stop being so hopeful for things that will never happen.
You made your way to the home economics club making a delivery for your teacher who was too busy grading papers to make the delivery himself. You had no problem doing it, it was lunch break and you had nothing better to do after all. Maybe you could make some more friends, plus side you could check out the club and see if it's something you want to do. After all, you always wanted to be a model, might as well see what this club is like.
You carried boxes that were twice your height but quite light despite the size of them. You could barely see the door but you could see the class number. Now onto the problem you now have, how to open the door, you held the boxes with both of your hands. If you even move one hand it will all come toppling down. Then comes, the bright idea. You stood there trying to open the door with your foot, trying your hardest not to fall over due to lack of balance.
You should've taken those yoga classes with your mom! Curses.
It wasn't long till the door opened up, your ears perked hearing the sound.
"Wow, you're carrying a lot, you could've called out I would've came sooner." You heard a soft voice speak out, it was smooth like honey yet deep. Whoever this voice belonged to was blessed.
"Sorry! I didn't want to disturb anyone....." You mutter softly.
"Come on in, let me help you." He spoke reaching to grab some of your boxes.
"Nu-huh, I got it!" You chirped back, you heard him laugh softly as you felt his hand touch your back as he guided you into the room, his touch oh-so soft. Normally you would feel uncomfortable with this but with him, it felt okay. Felt nice actually.
You swatted these thoughts following the guide of his hand.
"You can set them here." He stated talking half of your boxes setting them down on the table.
"Hey, I said I had-" Finally you could see, and thank god you could. You locked eyes with your prince. The boy from the park. Both of your eyes widened as it hit you guys.
"You're the guy from the park!"
"You're the girl from the park!"
You both yelled out, you could only laugh at accusations you yelled at the same time.
"Wow, who knew we'd end up in the same school?" Talk about fate." He smiled.
His smile was so bright, just like that day you met. He hasn't changed. He's so pretty....
"Y-Yeah, fate.." You cursed yourself for the person you became when you were around him, your voice felt soft and weak. Your face constantly felt hot, your heart beating out of your chest. Was it...
Love at first sight?
"You know, I never caught your name." He speaks out trying to lightening the mood after seeing your awkward disposition, slightly fidgeting your fingers, twirling the heel of your foot.
"Right! I never caught yours either, I'm Y/n Kataga!" You replied cheerfully with a huge smile that blinded him. He held his hand out to shake yours,
"Takashi Mitsuya, pleasure to meet you Y/n." He smiled back, you looked at his hand and shook it.
That was the start of something bigger than the both of you. You both became close very quickly, bonding over your love of fashion and modeling. He introduced you to his friends, mother, re-introducing you to his sisters, officially. They were so happy to see you again, soon enough you guys were like a small family.
You learned all about him through stories from Chifuyu and Draken, you knew about Toman and his past gang life, how he raised his sisters, you knew all of it. You felt special, even though you weren't present during that time, you felt as if you were there with him. It was perfect and you would cherish these stories forever.
Mitsuya learned everything about you, much less from asking and more by observing. He learned how stressed you'd get when meeting new people, how you bit your lip while concentrating, how you fidget your fingers and advert your eyes in the cutest way when you were feeling shy. He learned it all. He loved learning more about you, you were like a book he couldn't put down. You, Y/n had him completely obsessed, wrapping around your perfect little finger.
One day you told him about how you wanted to be a model, then and there he proposed you model for him and only him. He'd make you beautiful clothes that match your style and you wear them for him.
Of course you agreed, his designs are gorgeous. He's really talented, and now you had an excuse to be around him more. Not like you needed one, all it took was one text and he would be running to you, wherever you were.
Fourth year of highschool, final year, Mitsuya was going to the College of Designs and you had a job opportunity to work under famous models. You were separating, and only after a year of being together. You haven't even confessed yet. To be honest you didn't even know if you should, what if you ruined what you had. You didn't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship, but you wanted to be more than friends. You wanted more than hugs when he dropped you off, you needed more than your hand gently brushing against his. You deserved more than unnoticed glances at him when he was too busy making designs to notice your stares.
But he did, he noticed it all. He knew, kind of. He had a suspicion, after all Hina was whispering things to him about you and your little secret crush. It came out a few months back that you liked this guy but refused to say who he was. You only gave vague details about him, but in those details he saw himself, maybe he was being overzealous but he prayed it was him you liked and not some other guy. Only he could treat you like the princess you were, you were his since the day he met you.
"Y/n, wanna go to the park?" He asked pointing to the small park across the street.
"That's...." You said as you walked towards the park. You glided your finger against the slide where you first found Mana and Luna crying their eyes out.
You made your way over to the swing where you sat down softly smiling at the memories. When you first fell in love.
"Yeah, where we first met." Mitsuya smiled sat the memory, he walked behind you. Taking your hands and placing them on the chains holding the swing up. You got used to these soft touches, you hated them. They were the touches that could lead to more but never did, you despised them but took whatever you could get. You were greedy, you couldn't help it. Mitsuya began pushing you on the swing, comfortable silence fell over the two of you, you felt the wind softly brush against your face as he pushed you at just the right pace, the night moon looking more beautiful than it has before, maybe it's because you're with him.
"You were cute back then." Mitsuya spoke up.
"What? Saying I'm not cute now?" You scoff at his claim. Feigning to be hurt.
"Not what I'm saying." He rolled his eyes, you were his little drama queen.
"Then what are you saying Mr. Takashi Mitsuya?" You asked looking behind you to lock eyes with the man pushing you. He had that look in his eyes, the one he has when he's sketching clothes or working on bringing his design to life, the eyes of complete concentration and admiration. He leaned down, holding either of your eyes with his own bracing himself. He locked his lips with yours without a single word, not even a warning. His lips were slightly cracked yet soft. The kiss was one that told you everything.
"I've always loved you."
Since that day, it was official. You were his and he was yours. You were a picture perfect relationship, arguments were rare with him, he was kind, considerate, supportive. He was just perfect. You took each others' firsts and planned on taking everything from each other till their was nothing left.
Like said before, arguments were rare. Only sparking when Mitsuya wasn't talking care of himself like he should have been to finish a project, or you put yourself at risk for your career.
Arguments weren't a thing with you two, but when it happened, they were heated and here you two are, present day. Hashing it out.
"And I'm telling you I can protect myself!" You shouted at your lover who had his arms crossed peering at you over the kitchen counter.
"It doesn't matter if you can protect yourself or not, he's dangerous." He spat back completely ignoring your statement.
"He's not dangerous, he's an awkward kid trying to get his product out there," you groaned frustrated at your lover, "you know what that's like..." You mumble.
"Yeah, I do, but at least I wasn't shady." He gruffed, rolling his eyes.
"Mitsuya! He's not shady. Ugh!" You exclaimed throwing your hands in the air.
"You're in denial. You're not doing it. Period." He said the turning around no longer facing you, diverting his attention to the food on the stove.
"You don't tell me what I can and can not do." You pettily said walking out of the room and into your own slamming the door. You plopped onto your bed screaming into your pillow. Pissed at how stubborn he could be. You laid face first into the pillow not moving, until you got a ding on your phone. It was a text, you lifted your head to check your phone.
Aykoyama
"This Monday, 8am? How does that sound? 🙂"
Aykoyama, a new designer, you met him on a photoshoot and exchanged numbers. Normally you wouldn't model for anyone other than Mitsuya but you figured once wouldn't hurt. Besides, you need to build your clientele as a model, you would want him to branch out with different models as well. It's for work, nothing more.
Y/n
I'm sorry, I don't think I can anymore-
"You don't tell me what I can and can not do"
'Fuck you Mitsuya' you thought, time to build your clientele you smiled softly to yourself.
Y/n
Sounds great! Can't wait to see what you have in stored!! 😁
You know you didn't do anything wrong, it's not like you cheated on Mitsuya or anything, yet... Why do you feel so shitty.
You curled up in bed feeling as if you burned down an orphanage, the guilt was killing you.
Over the course of the week you and Mitsuya haven't been talking. You both went to work, lived your life as if the other person didn't exist. It was more you holding a grudge and Mitsuya giving you your space. He'd simply sigh when you would leave the room after he'd enter it, or how you would sleep on the couch to stay away from him.
Slowly it started to piss him off, who the hell said you could ignore him? He's just worried about you. You'll get over it, he'll apologize and you'll say sorry back. Soon you'll be in his arms again waiting for your daily kisses. Like normal.
Yet that time didn't come, what did come was the event. You left the house earlier than excepted, earlier than Mitsuya ever woke up.
He woke up to an empty bed, which has been this week's normal, he checked the time on his phone, 12:50 pm, he slept pretty late today.
No matter, it was his off day. He yawned with a stretch, pushing himself off the bed to check to couch and you weren't there. Matter of fact, there was no sign that you even slept there.
The house was void of all signs of life besides the small signs of his existence that he left laying around the house. He checked his phone to see if you left any message yet you haven't. Now he's worried. He sighs and texts your manager, Polly.
Boss's hubby
Have you seen Y/n?
Read 1:03 pm
"What the hell?" He mumbled to himself running his free hand through his hair.
Boss's hubby
Polly?
Wifey's manager
Sorry! I was busy doing Y/n hair! But she's here with me, we're getting ready for the Gala tonight, you should come 🤧
Boss's hubby
Gala?
Wifey's manager
She didn't tell you? She must've forgot, silly her. Shes helping Mr. Aykoyama With his debut today at tonight's Gala!
He couldn't believe it, you deliberately hide the fact that you were still working with him after he told you not to. It's safe to say he was livid, which is rare. Mitsuya is a calm man, after raising two little girls he had to be, you were one of the only people who knew how to push his buttons and do it correctly.
Boss's hubby
She must've, send me the address and the best time to arrive
Wifey's manager
Of course! The theme is "Golden shine" here's the address;
Read 1:20 pm
The time read 6:30 pm, just five minutes before the red carpet walk, you were sweating buckets. The event was fairly small but had a lot of big faces there in the modeling and designing industry. You couldn't help but be hit with a huge wave of guilt when you thought about what you're doing.
You snuck behind his back to go to a Gala, with another man, after he told you not to. Maybe you did it out of spite or you wanted to prove something but this looks bad all the way around. You're even wearing someone else's dress, you promised. You promised to only wear his clothes.. But you can't deny, the kid has talent. You look breath taking and Polly did a stunning job on your hair and makeup.
Your hair was put into a low bun with a deep side part. Your makeup was light but effective, you had soft red lips with a neutral soft glam brown and yellow look that complimented your eyes perfectly, and the dress.... Lord.
The way it framed your body, showing off each all your curves, the way it instantly perked up your breasts, cupping them like a corset would. It was a great dress but, it wasn't Mitsuya's. As you wore the dress you didn't feel that rush of excitement that you felt when you wore your lover's clothes. You felt tainted wearing this, it made you want to rip it off your body, but this is your job. This is what you signed up for as a model. You can't back out...
"Carpet time in minus 5 minutes!" One of the crew members shouted into the changing room for the models and other crew members to hear.
"You ready?" Polly asked popping up behind you out of nowhere, scaring the hell out of you causing you to shake.
"Didn't mean to scare ya. Nerves?" She questions holding your hand to try and comfort you.
"Yeah... First time doing this." You muttered staring down at the floor feeling almost lightheaded.
"Don't worry, you'll do great." She cheers you on, "Besides, I invited your fiance so you don't have to worry." She smiles giving you the finger heart sign, clearly proud of what she did.
"You did what!?" You shouted softly gripping her shoulders, "Why did you do that?"
"Because he should be here to support you? Is everything okay?" She asks now worried looking at your form.
"Carpet time people, let's go!" The same crew member shouted. The models get up making their way to the door.
"You too Y/n!" The crew member calls you out after not moving. Polly pushes you wishing you a good luck to the door.
You had to calm down, you had to do well. You have to do well not only for yourself but for Mr. Aykoyama. You can't let your personal life get in the way of your work, you're a professional Y/n. Act like it.
You are one of the last people to get on stage, you grab your umbrella prop and begin to sway your hips as you walked down the stage. You looked over to the side to meet eyes with the patrons there, you meet eyes with a happy Mr. Aykoyama who's giving you thumbs up and a not so happy Mitsuya who's leaning forward in his seat, his elbows on either side of his knees with his hands clenched together.
He just watches you, stares you down, your every move, the sway of your hip, the way you averted your eyes when you saw him.
You met the end of the stage and did put a hand on your hip, the other hand pulling the umbrella back giving the lookers a closer, more clearer view of the dress that was on your body. You tried you best to be professional, to focus on your job, but the way Mitsuya glared at you, you could feel your core heating up. You were honestly terrified.
You spun on your heels turning around to leave the stage as the onlookers clapped cheering your name. Mitsuya didn't move a muscle, he just flashed a tight close eyed smile your way.
You're fucked.
The event couldn't seem to go any slower, Mitsuya was standing behind you with his hand on your back gripping your waist shining a soft smile towards the fellow designers there. He hasn't said a single word, just holding a death grip on your waist as you socialize with the people there.
"Y/n! You were amazing out there!" Mr. Aykoyama cheered running up to you, he had a glisten in his eyes, his smile was so wide.
"It was all thanks to your design, it's stunning." You said returning his smile.
"No-no, I can't take all the credit... The way you strutted down the runway with grace and ease, everybody was enchanted by you.." He scans your body blatantly ignoring your lover's presence.
"She is beautiful isn't she?" Mitsuya interjects, holding his hand out towards the younger man standing in front of him, "Takashi Mitsuya, senior designer." He introduced himself with a smile that seems genuine at first glance yet his filled with annoyance and slight anger. It's a smile that could kill a man.
Mitsuya has mastered the art of passive aggressiveness, especially working in the fashion department, he had to learn or he would be eaten alive.
"A-ah, yes! I'm Aykoyama Lin!" He shakes his hand. The young man winces at the grip your fiance had on his hand, "Firm grip! My father would love you." He laughed and Mitsuya joined only entertaining his bullshit until the event was over.
"Thank you for giving my beloved fiance here the opportunity to work with you. However, she must politely decline any future work with you." Mitsuya pulls you by your waist closer to him, you could only blush looking down at the ground.
"Excuse me?" He glared at Mitsuya, "Whatever do you mean?"
"Ah, well, there's no reason for her to work with you any further, after all...." He pauses, "She has me." He gruffed out, "Now if you'll excuse us, my princess seems to feel sick. We'll return the dress immediately."
"No, no, that's not necessary, she can keep it!" He beamed. Mitsuya just flared at him, taking his anger out on your already bruised hips, tightening his grip on your waist.
Mitsuya said nothing else, he turned around and guided you out the building. He walked you to the car garage. He swiftly pushed you against a random wall in the parking garage, pushing you by your hips. Smashing his lips against yours, taking your breath from your mouth with his own, the grip on your waist lightened up but was soon taken over by the same pressure being around your neck. You gasped into the kiss as you felt his hand ring around your neck. His tongue pushed further into your mouth exploring your mouth, swirling his tongue with your own.
He applied more pressure to your neck as he deepened the kiss. You both pulled away to gain air, your chests heaving trying to pull oxygen back into your body.
"S-Suya—" You moaned out.
"Take it off." He gruffed out of breath.
"What?" You questioned him, looking baffled.
"You heard me, take the dress off. I'm not fucking you with another man's design on you." He spat. You must've been taking too long, Mitsuya span you around making your back face him, he unzipped the dress, gently removing your arms from the sleeves before pulling it down.
There you stood, practically naked in a parking garage, you thanked the stars that you left early, it seemed to be only the two of you. You felt the cold air hit you like a tidal wave, goosebumps covered your body as you wrapped our arms around your most delicate places.
How shameful, you should be ashamed. Embarrassed, disgusted, yet there was a pooling in your panties that said otherwise, Mitsuya was never aggressive with you, he treated you like a precious China set, something to be protected. Now you felt like nothing more than a cheapened slut.
"Such a slutty little thing, you didn't wear a bra?" He whispered into your ear, licking your neck before biting it, leaving small bruises. You felt Mitsuya cup your breast from behind, massaging your nipples in between his fingers, the cold air aided in making them hard under his touch.
"W-Was told not to— Ah." Moaning out as he caressed your breasts and biting your neck.
"You're enjoying this hm? Being violated in a parking lot, here I thought you enjoyed being pampered..." He ranted on, "Being treated like a princess, if you wanted to be treated like a cock hungry slut you should've just said that." He cooed, leaving a trail of kisses on your shoulder.
"Don't wanna be treated like a slut.. Suya." You mumbled, feeling his hot breath against your shoulder, his gentle kisses, knowing this was the last time tonight that he would be this kind.
He turned you around, taking his suit jacket off and wrapping it around your shoulders, buttoning just the middle of the jacket.
"Wouldn't want you to catch a cold before I finished with you."
Your body felt hot, hotter than ever. Your panties getting wetter by the minute. He walked you to his car with his hand back on it's designated place, your hips. Digging into his right pocket with his free hand to grab his car keys. He unlocked the car door, opening the passenger side for you. He tossed you in the seat, muttering a buckle up before closing the door and getting in himself.
As soon as he got into his seat, he grabbed you by your hair, pushing your face towards his own, locking his lips with yours once again. He licked your lips with your tongue signalling you to open your mouth further. Moaning into the kiss as Mitsuya made his way to your wet panties.
"Soaking are we?" He chuckled into the kiss, pushing your panties to the side prodding his finger at your entrance. You struggled to kiss him back as his finger pushed passed your tight entrance, moving at a gentle pace, hitting all the right places. You moaned louder as you felt his finger curl inside you hitting your G-spot ever so softly with the tip of his finger.
"I've barely done anything to you doll... You can last longer than that can't you?"
He pushed another finger past your entrance, scissoring them together inside of you. You gripped his hair trying your best to continue the pace of the kiss but struggling as he was teasing your hole. You broke the kiss,
"Suya! R-Right there—" You moaned as he moved his fingers in and out, pushing them against your G-spot just before taking them out all to do it again, inching you towards your orgasm,
"M'gonna cum Suya~" You purred out. Arching your back wanting to feel more of his fingers. "Close, m'so close...."
Just before you were able to have your high he pulled out, before you could protest he shoved his fingers in your mouth muffling you.
"You thought it was gonna be easy? Hm? Whoring yourself out to another designer, going behind my back? What makes you think you should cum?"
He shoves his fingers down your throat forcing you to gag on his slender digits.
"Bad girls like you should be punished, not rewarded." He pulls his fingers from your throat watching you cough catching air, he pulls your face towards his once more before, forcing your mouth open with his thumb before spitting in your mouth.
"Swallow." With that you struggled to gulp down his saliva, yet you did, with the bob of your throat you swallowed what he gave you. Opening your mouth and sticking your tongue out to show him that you swallowed it all, hoping he'd praise you.
"What? Wanna be praised for doing the bare minimum? You're gonna have to do a lot more than that. Now spread your legs."
You opened your legs further allowing him a full view of your soaking area, he brushed his hand past your clit, only to reach into his glove compartment. He pulled out a small pink bullet vibrator, he looked at you with a closed eye smile. He teasingly poked your entrance with the toy, nudging you with just the tip. You let out a soft hum of pleasure as the vibrator brushed across you.
You were so aroused you couldn't handle it, you just wanted him to fuck you, pin you down and use you however he wanted to. Your walls clenched at the thought of being his ragdoll.
"What are you dousing off for?" He scoffed in annoyance before pushing the vibrator in, "You better not make a mess in my car. If you go the entire ride without cumming, I'll fuck you. If not, you'll go to sleep without feeling my cock inside this slutty pussy of yours."
"T-Thats just mean Suya—" Being cut off by the vibrator turning on, feeling it deep in your core. The pleasure was immense, it felt so good, so deep inside of you. You bit your finger muffling your moans, not wanting to show Mitsuya how good it felt. You couldn't cum yet.
"What? Gonna cum already?" He cooed rubbing your clit with his fingers, whispering against your neck, peppering you with small kisses. "You can do it, go ahead princess, cum." He encouraged you, he wanted you to suffer. He was pissed despite how sweet he cooed at you.
"D-Dont wanna! Wanna cum on your cock Suya!" Your back arched as he picked up the pace on your sensitive nub.
"Yeah? Wanna cum all over my cock? Wanna feel it deep inside you?"
"Yes Suya, m'wanna feel you inside, only you."
He moved his face away from your neck, the movement on your clit stopped.
"Then you better not cum before we get home."
The drive home was long and excruciating. Mitsuya purposely grazed your clit or breasts to amplify your pleasure, trying to get you to lose yourself and have an orgasm. You were fighting it so hard.
The car was filled with your soft moans and whispers, you chanted his name begging him to turn down the vibrator, it was too much. You couldn't handle it, he only replied telling you,
"If you want my cock then you'll be a good girl and hold it in."
And so you did. He purposely took the long way home, followed and obeyed every traffic law to the T. He even had the audacity to make a pit stop to get some more fabric while he made you wait in the car.
You couldn't help but cry as you forcefully help in your upcoming orgasm. Tears ran down your face, Mitsuya cooed at you caressing your face kissing your tears away. You were doing good, you were doing well, so well. You watched as Mitsuya pulled into your driveway feeling great relief.
Your relief was brief, as he parked in the driveway you felt his fingers push the vibrator further into you.
You arched your back, letting out a loud moan in response.
He had that look in his eyes. His orbs were focused on you entirely, watching your every facial expression. The way your eyebrows furrowed together, your mouth agape, the way you put your fingers to your lips trying to muffle your own moans.
He selfishly captured your lips in a kiss once again, sucking on your tongue, exploring your mouth as if he's never tasted you before. His free hand turned up the power of the vibrator.
"Suya— too much! I don't wanna-" You panicked at the rush of pleasure.
"Then don't."
You couldn't help it, you were doing so well, so well... All of those efforts gone as you released onto the vibrator, your juices dripping out of you as you closed your legs tightly letting out a prolonged moan, coming to your release.
Mitsuya clicked his tongue as he watched you come undone on the vibrator. Your chest heaving up and down as you tried to catch your breath after having such an intense orgasm.
"N-No, unfair! Suya, please." You pleaded gripping his dress shirt,
"How unfortunate, we just made it home too.." He sighed, looking down at his hardened cock confined in his dress pants. Bringing your shaky hand to feel his cock through his pants,
"It was all ready for you too, at least you got to cum hm?" He smiled, before helping you get out of the car and bringing you inside the house, placing you on the couch. He undoes his tie and kicks off his shoes, leaving you a broken mess on the couch.
"I'm going to shower first okay?" He chirps as kissing your forehead before leaving.
"Suya please!" You cried out, "M'sorry, m'so sorry" You begged as he walked off,
"Princess, don't be a brat. You knew the deal, you agreed to it."
"Please don't leave me like this, I— need you..." You walked up to him pressing your breast against his back, "Need you so bad.."
He hummed in response,
"Now why should I? Last time I checked, I told you not to work with Mr. Aykoyama didn't I? You didn't listen, you wanted to do your own thing, surely you can cum on your own." He smiled as he faced you. That same smile he has plastered on his face all night, the one that says he's pissed but not showing it.
"You even went as far as ignoring me, sneaking behind my back.." He trails off, wrapping his hand around your throat, "Why should I do anything for you?"
"... Y-Youre right, Suya, I was being stubborn, I didn't listen like I should have... M'sorry, it won't happen again." You cried out, coming down to your knees slowly rubbing his entrapped cock with your hand. "Never again, will be your good girl." You promised as you undid his belt buckle, working your way to his zipper. "I love you Suya... Love you so much."
"You want it so bad? Do it yourself." He spat while watching you pull down his pants, he unbuttoned his shirt to get more comfortable, you were still in his suit jacket before telling you to take it off.
And you did, along with your panties.
You kissed his pelvis making your way down to the hem of his underwear, the final layer before meeting with his harden cock. Despite being angry he could never say no to your pretty mouth, his cock always told you want he truly wanted even if his mouth didn't.
You pulled down the final layer, his cock sprung out gently hitting your face. You stared at it like it was the greatest thing in the world. Your eyes sparkled as you saw it, you began kissing it from the hilt up to the tip.
Even his cock looked angry, pale base color with light blue veins pulsating against your lips.

I think the thing which annoys me most about how the Rings Of Power series looks to be shaping up is how tired, uninspired, and overdone it feels already.
The secret and/or forbidden love story trope between an elf and a human? We've literally had this about a billion times already within the silmarillion and LOTR themselves. I would much rather see one of those explored on screen honestly - just give us Beren and Luthien already - but no, Amazon has to create a whole new fucking version of this trope! Honestly, the forbidden love trope is NOT my thing, so maybe this one's just on me, but it feels so overdone in the context both of the tolkienverse - where there are plenty of very cool examples of this trope existing already - and in general media, where the secret lovers trope is already really common.
Why on earth have we gotten rid of long hair for male elves and beards for female dwarves? Sorry, I know I've mentioned this a lot of times, but this is a hill I'm willing to die on. Okay, let's say that I give the studio a pass for not giving female dwarves beards, because Tolkien's writings are admittedly sometimes contradictory on this matter. But I still just think it feels like pointlessly diminishing what could have been a very cool worldbuilding trait and character feature, especially since the Jackson films confirmed that female dwarves have beards and many fans really like this theory.
And the elves - this is what gets me the most; considering how much effort Tolkien goes to to emphasise how important hair is to the elves, how formative it is to their identity, it feels callous and silly to give elves short hair. Almost every piece of media I've ever seen for the tolkienverse - be it animated, illustrated, written, or filmed - has given elves long hair. It's pretty much accepted canon at this point, and you can hardly say that the LOTR franchise suffered because it defied gender categories in such a relatively small way. In fact, I know that long haired male elves were something of an awakening for many... :^)
Amazon, by getting rid of this central part of worldbuilding for the elves and dwarves, is not "doing something" here. It is not a revolutionary leap away from Tolkien's works to make the works better and more interesting, the show isn't playing around or even genuinely trying to engage with the original material at all. It just feels like they're trying to reinforce gender stereotypes on characters to make them more palatable to the general public, to make this show more marketable. :/
Finally, the erasure of established character personalities - Galadriel as a girlboss feanorian and Elrond as a 'politically ambitious' guy - feels so weird to me. Honestly, I think Amazon just took the characters everyone who's seen the LOTR films would know, because they're hoping to get people more engaged with the show that way, and they're twisting the narrative around these characters to make them more marketable. That's why we've got Elrond, Galadriel, and rumours of Isildur appearing in the show (and, arguably, why Celebrimbor and Gil-Galad seem to be playing such small roles comparatively despite being very central to the original plot of the Silmarillion). Again, sacrificing the actual story for the sake of making this show more marketable to the general public.
It feels, generally, like the show has changed or sacrificed crucial aspects of itself to become more attractive to a mainstream audience, but I really think that's a shame - LOTR is already a beloved story, it's already well known and liked, and you don't have to put more fuckable characters in or girlbossify characters to make the show sell. People would have watched it anyway, but now we might be getting a tired GOT rip-off instead. It also feels like the showrunners are emulating the vibes of LOTR and the Silmarillion, but not really immersing themselves in it. It feels like its own story entirely, with a whole different vibe, message, and goal, which just incidentally happens to borrow the tolkienverse as a vague backdrop - NOT actually an adaptation of the Silmarillion like it claims to be.
I don't want to count all my chickens before they hatch - maybe (very possibly!) I'll be wrong about some of these things, I really hope I am! Obviously the show hasn't come out yet so I don't want to condemn it entirely (though I would encourage folks to 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ it when it comes out, rather than give Bezos money). At the moment, I'm just (somewhat passive-aggressively) airing my thoughts.
But, maybe it will genuinely surprise people and be pretty good. I also don't want to hate on the cast, especially those who are playing new characters specifically made for the series... they're just doing their jobs at the end of the day, some of them seem really excited and committed to their roles, and of course we may also be pleasantly surprised by them! Most of the current grudges I hold are against the studio and the writers.

Baki Boy’s and a fearless/overly-outspoken s/o
Hi y’all! This is my very first headcanon and it’s something that just came to mind while insomnia decided sleep wasn’t allowed. Some are going to have a S/O who speaks out and acts the way they do due to past feelings of restriction and inability to do so, and some are just personality traits in general so a small TW is in order I suppose. I hope you all like it!
Baki:
At first, he had no idea how to deal with that. He was used to Kozue who would only ever speak on her feelings when pressed for them, so when he saw his S/O immediately snap back at Yujiro for his comments and general way of being unprompted, he felt a bit of fear for their safety but also a swelling of pride began to grow in his chest.
He knew they were free spirited and spoke their mind from the beginning, what was apart of what drew Baki to them in the first place, but in the face of The Ogre?
He was shocked to say the least and every alarm in his head was going off to get them out of there before they ended up dead, but Yujiro simply laughed, smirked at his son and gave him a dark warning.
“Don’t let them bark harder than you can bite, that might just be what puts them down.”
The longer that they spent together, the more accustomed to their general ease with saying whatever floated through their head at the time, and lack of care for the outcome of what was said/done.
This has lead to more than a few occasions where Baki has had to pick them up and sprint away from the situation to keep from having to beat someone’s face into an unrecognizable pulp the second an advance was made in the direction of his S/O.
He comes to appreciate their honesty and finds it easier to be around them compared to other people due to the low probability of them hiding anything from him, and it being far easier for him to tell when something is wrong.
Will ask their opinions when making big decisions because he knows they have no fear going forward in life and will tell him their exact thought process regardless of whether it fits with what he’s wanting. To them, it’s what’s best not what is wanted if you’re asking their opinion.
Would support them saying whatever is on their mind/heart, but worries for their safety when he isn’t around to watch out for them.
Loves them for them regardless of if they lack the ability to keep their feelings to themselves while Baki himself is rather reserved.
Jack:
To say he was surprised to have this tiny (anything is compared to him-) individual he hadn’t seen before snap at him for hogging the bench press during his routine workout at his favored gym would be an understatement.
The man was an absolute giant who towered over even the tallest of men and could easily break most in half, yet here this tiny firecracker was getting angry at him. An interesting development indeed.
From then on, he set out to make it his mission to get to know this unique person. For someone to get his eye off of getting stronger and defeating his father is an award all it’s own, but for him to actively chase them was an entirely different thing.
Does eventually win them over through a mixture of gentlemanly behavior and healthy sarcasm, while proving he’s a trustworthy person to hold their heart and guard it.
Jack found himself growing protective over them when he witnessed them exchanging heated words followed by blows over a dispute in a bar he miraculously found himself at the same time as them.
He decided that moment he was going to make them his, and he was going to keep them safe forever, especially from Yujiro.
Hundred percent would do his best to keep them separate, but Yujiro, being Yujiro, would find a way to make his son’s life harder and intervene, belittling him in some way around his S/O and that would be the end of it.
Jack thought he had seen them go off before? Oh, no, no. Not when it came to someone they care about deeply. They started spewing every insult they could think of at the red-headed Hanma giant, feeling not an ounce of fear in their body- that’s because all of it entered Jack’s the moment they opened their mouth.
Used every bit of endurance he built up to grab them and run as far as he could in as quick a pace as possible to get them to safety.
Knows there’s no way he can change them, and that he wouldn’t want to. Their outspokenness was what made him fall for them after all.
Katsumi:
This man has a thing for outspoken S/O who takes charge, he may seem like an alpha male but he would instantly fold the moment his beloved gives him the look. Is not to afraid to admit this and chalks it up to his love and respect for their opinions.
Instantly fell for them the moment they entered Shin Shin Kai in a full-blown fit, eyes raging, nostrils slightly flaring and sights set on a member of his class. Obviously they did something wrong, but when he approached to find out exactly what was going on as any teacher would, he was instantly shut down.
“I’m not here for you, so if you don’t want your head bit off, I’d stay the fuck out of my way”
Needless to say, he was intrigued at this type of response from someone so much smaller than him, in his own father’s dojo, and after a few more prodding questions and standing in the way of what they wanted, he got the answers he was wanting as to what was going on.
Being the relatively peaceful guy he was, Katsumi managed to calm down the situation while somehow getting a date out of the whole scenario.
Everyone thought he was crazy for wanting to go out with someone as outspoken and rude like that, but he saw beyond that. He could see there was someone fearless and thoughtful under there, and he wanted to see what else was buried beneath the surface.
Man, was it worth it. They didn’t fear anything it seemed, always willing to try new activities with Katsumi and his friends, be it new roller-coaster to cliff-jumping on their days off at the ocean, it didn’t matter. They were always up for it, the acts seemingly bringing them closer each time.
He grew to love and respect them greatly, reminding them daily how much he admires their ability to speak their mind without fear and has no issue setting anyone straight regardless of who it is.
Would never admit it to their face or out loud but he really worries about them when he’s gone, knowing that not everyone can see the kind person they are inside and could easily take their words or actions the wrong way.
One of the few who actually trains his S/O in martial arts, even just the basics, to keep themselves safe when he isn’t around.
Doyle:
Oh boy.
This idiot would be voted most likely to attempt to kill his S/O for opening their mouth about how he doesn’t seem as tough as everyone is making him out to be.
Has the hardest time out of all of the men to adapt to having a S/O who speaks whatever comes in their mind and letting him know exactly what they think of his actions, good or bad. This is not something he is used to and not being able to just leave or kill the person saying it was something that was completely new to him.
Would be the definition of opposites attract. Doyle is known for being more reserved, keeps things to himself and generally reminds others of a cat with his observant and quiet behavior. In comes his lover who is open about her thoughts and feelings regardless of who asks, will shout and loudly express themselves when upset or frustrated, and is basically a dog personified.
Doyle catches himself watching their surroundings more cautiously when they go out due to not knowing exactly what is going to slip out of his lovers mouth, and being fully prepared to cut the tongue out of anyone who dared breath in their direction wrong.
Eventually he learns what will set off his S/O quicker and what is the best ways to calm them down when they are feeling like they need to be heard about a certain scenario.
He’s a very observant man, and when spending nearly everyday with a person he cares for, he will swiftly find ways to make things easier for them without their noticing. He can’t have them thinking he cares too much.
Around the other inmates or Yujiro Hanma is the only time Doyle feels any inclination of fear, prompting a fight, flight, or freeze response to which he typically chooses the middle option with his S/O in toe.
He would rather be viewed as a coward for fleeing with what is his than lose it because they don’t have the ability to keep their damn mouth shut for someone looking at either of them wrong.
Would enjoy having a S/O who expresses what they’re feeling, but would hope for one who had some sentiment of common sense so he didn’t have to constantly worry.
Retsu:
Probably handles them the best out of all of the boys to be honest.
Is used to hotheaded and outspoken people himself already (*cough* Katsumi *cough*), while also having been one in his past, Retsu is the most suited to dealing with their outbursts and reckless actions due to a lack of fear.
Likely met his S/O while in Japan for the Maximum Tournament and overheard them going off in the distance about something that was a passion of theirs that they felt had been disrespected.
Retsu could relate given his overprotective nature in regards to his Chinese Kenpo, so when he saw them chest to chest, red-faced and still going at it while showing no signs of backing down, he knew he had to step in and defuse the situation before their beautiful/handsome face was ruined over an argument.
Has no problem with letting them rant and rave about things their passionate about or that bothered them throughout the day/week that they managed to hold in for Retsu’s sake.
Expresses his feeling the easiest out of the men except for possibly a tie with Baki, so makes it known that he worries for their safety and wants them to try their best to keep it together while they’re apart, being rewarded with whatever treat they would like followed by cuddles and a venting session.
Comes up with different means for them to let out their frustrations with the world without having to blow up on everyone/everything that upsets them; i.e. gives them swearing coloring books to create art out of every swear word/insult they could think of.
Doesn’t want his S/O to keep things inside or to change, he just simply wants them to learn there is a time and a place for going off about things you’re passionate about, but when faced with the strongest being in the world? That is not the time, and even someone like Retsu, who believed that nothing could beat Chinese Kenpo, could recognize that.
If things ever got heated out in public and his S/O began to argue with another person, don’t think for a second that Retsu wouldn’t break a man’s jaw for talking to his love with any kind of bass in their voice.
Loves and accepts his S/O for who they are, but is likely to help try and gently mother hen them into channeling that into a healthier outcome.

Note
did you watch lucifer season six and what are your thoughts pls and ty
Ahaha. Yes. Yes I did watch it. Then I cried for a literal hour and attempted to compose myself, only to start crying again when I lay down and kept on thinking about it. Then I had more feelings. Then I slept like the dead due to emotional trauma. Then I reblogged gifsets and had More feelings. Then @buffaluff and @flynnanimal watched it and also required emotional support due to drowning in their own tears. So, uh... we're all fine here now. How are you?
My main takeaway from the final season was the sheer amount of love for the characters, story, and fans that you could feel shining through all the episodes, and which made SUCH a refreshing change. I had feelings in my tags the other day about how a show about the devil was constantly goofy, hopeful, loving, and uplifting, rather than all the grimdark nonsense they could have easily done with it. (As I said, just imagine it as written by the GOT idiots?? NO THANK YOU.) The writing really loved everyone and wanted to give them a proper ending and emotional journey, and it wanted to show the fans that they weren't stupid for having invested six seasons of effort and emotion into this, and just... that is so much rarer than it should be? Compare all the movies and TV shows that treat their fans like the enemy, that want to outsmart them at all costs even if it means changing major plot elements, that ferociously guard spoilers and think that "shock value" means good writing, by throwing hackneyed cliche upon cliche and making everything Depressing, and just... Lucifer had its hiccups and slow points and missteps, of course, but I am SO glad they didn't do that. The entire show consisted of Lucifer slowly but steadily progressing toward being a better man, despite mistakes and setbacks and sometimes a little too much will-they-won't-they. (Season 3 was the only one where I got bored and skipped over the filler episodes with Pierce/Lucifer/Chloe in order to get to the end).
That is an essentially simple premise, but they stuck to it, and they didn't try to create more drama by randomly wrecking what they had already established. I wrote a fic all the way back in mid-season 2 (In Nomine Patris) that ended up predicting quite a few of the future characters who had not yet appeared on the show at that time, including Eve, Michael, and Azrael, and several plot points, including the very major one of Lucifer returning to hell for the sake of his daughter with Chloe. And while this might mean that I am just that good at guessing TV shows (I would like to think this....) it also means that the writers set expectations, followed through on those expectations, and didn't suddenly derail everything or turn it totally on its head just for the sake of cheap shocks. As we can all attest, they certainly caused PLENTY of drama, anguish, pain, and suffering, but they did it in a way that remained faithful to the overall premises of the story and the characters, and wanted to see them become the best versions of themselves. I cried my eyes out at the end and then thought, "hey, I might want to watch the whole series again," which, if you ask me, is the mark of doing your job right. There have been so few TV endings recently where I didn't immediately swear off the whole thing or have to pretend that canon didn't exist, so yeah.
As I said, it was just refreshing to watch something that had that essential deep generosity at its core, where the message is that everyone is worthy of love if they make the hard and painful effort to change and become better, and that even if earthly things feel small next to all this messy celestial drama, they still matter, and that you are loved no matter what. I loved that Amenadiel became God and Lucifer returned to hell as a choice in order to help all the trapped souls be able to work through their guilt and go to heaven. There were obviously certain echoes of The Good Place in that ending; I don't know if it was something they had planned all along or if the success of TGP, another series asking deep questions about life, death, morality, and human nature within the framework of a goofy heaven-and-hell sitcom, influenced it, but either way, it worked so well. Even if it tore my heart out and stomped on it on the ground, it was fitting and oh so lovely to see Lucifer, once the most selfish being in the entire universe, following in Linda's footsteps and becoming selflessly dedicated to helping other people. Just. Chef's kiss.
And of course, Deckerstar. The Hades and Persephone vibes were IMMACULATE this season, and while it did take Lucifer and Chloe the best part of four seasons to get together, they never significantly backslid, never had third-party issues or cheap cheating storylines once they were officially a couple, and Tom Ellis and Lauren German REALLY killed it this season in particular. It was never easy for them and sometimes the drama went on a little too long over the course of said six seasons, but the love story was beautiful and incredibly meaningful and always true to the fact that the actors and characters and writers (not to mention the fans) all loved it so much. They were so much the emotional heart of this, and when they went to hell together in episode 6x03 (where they turned into cartoons because wHAT even IS this show), Joe Henderson said in an interview that this was to give the fans a view into Lucifer and Chloe's future (after) lives post-6x10, and to offer them a basis to write fanfiction. I mean... the showrunner saying to the fans "here, we love you, have something to write fic about!" is likewise pretty shockingly rare. It's again an example of how this show always audaciously poked fun at itself, never took itself TOO seriously, and was always welcoming its fans and the people who loved it to do so, rather than making them feel stupid or taking joy in wrecking beloved characters or plots.
Obviously, I loved Rory, the badass lesbian half-angel goth Deckerstar child straight out of My Immortal (seriously, she was SO edgy, it was amazing), because of the fact that Lucifer's entire arc was always about feeling abandoned by his father and that he was going to have to face it for himself. Dorky Devil Dad Lucifer trying his absolute HARDEST to bond with his daughter was simultaneously hilarious, adorable, and heart-wrenching, and yet again, the Growth. We all remember when he could barely tolerate Trixie touching him, and now we're here. Also, any variation whatsoever of "this is just a brief moment of time that we must be apart, love is eternal and stronger than death and we will never really leave each other" as a line is guaranteed to make me bawl my eyes out. So that was fun.
I got a big kick out of Ghost Dan running around and trying to get everyone to see him, and had feelings about seeing him in heaven with Charlotte and his beloved Pudding Pops at the end. I had feelings about how they handled Ella finding out the truth (or rather demanding to know why nobody had told her) and of course, I obviously loved Maze and Eve and their goth/femme wedding and the fact that they got a good three-season romantic arc (indeed, I wanted more of them). My god, Trixie is SO BIG, she used to be a tiny little nugget. I love that Linda was the moral and emotional rock all along, from the first episode to the very last, and that Amenadiel was Deeply Vindicated when Charlie's wings appeared at his first birthday party. I love how Lucifer in s6 is absolute thousands of light years from Lucifer in s1. And as ever, Chloe was Perfect. I am happy that I spent six seasons with these characters and saw them become better, and that I was never made to feel like an idiot for trusting the writers to end everything in a beautiful and emotional way. Because, well. They did. Sure, maybe I could go back and pick at a plotline here or a detail there, but I don't terribly feel the need to do so? It might not have been perfect, but it was perfect, and I am so grateful that it existed.
