Steam Next Fest is so good and is making me so excited for the future of Monster catcher and adjacent kinds of games! Beastieball might become a new favorite game of mine and I keep finding myself itching to play Isle of Swaps. It makes my heart happy that there is so much creativity in this genre and that these games are getting realized. My only complaint is that I can't play the full games right now 😅😅

#isle of swaps #such fun and funky games!!!!!#I love that spaces matter in both games and I think its used super creativly #I was a little intimidated by Beastie Ball's four squares sides at first but really understood it after my second battle #and I love how it translates volleyball into a turn based game!!!!!#i love Isle of Swaps' vibes! reminds me of when we used to play Yu-Gi-Oh during recess on the concrete #and I love its energy system and how it feels like status effects really matter and are such a fun part of the game #and I love the creature designs in both but ESPECIALLY in Isle 😍😍😍😍😍😍#anyway! go play the demos! they're super fun #beastieball
