#king’s court#daiya no ace#ace of the diamond#diamond no ace#sanada shunpei#look#it’s not just that he’s pretty#although that helps#I love a good underdog and yakushi happens to be my favorite of the bunch in daiya#I love that Sanada went from being a slacker to a star pitcher because Raichi and his dad showed him how to love baseball#and have pride in his team#I love that even when he has the ace number he doesn’t feel worthy of it because he still makes mistakes and the pressure gets to him#I love how much the rest of yakushi LOVES HIM#including the coach#I love that Sanada wants to take his team but in particular Raichi and his dad to koshien#he’s just. an excellent character and I adore him#and yes. he’s very pretty
