thinking about how mike’s wish to be a hero in others’ eyes is even more compelling of a plot for a girl in the 80’s who’s told she’s weak, needs to find a man to guide her, and has her life basically set up for marriage and becoming a housewife. basically, what if you mixed mike’s and nancy’s arcs into one for michelle.

imagine (secretly nerdy) michelle reading fantasy books with her friends in her basement. she dreams of being a superhero like in the comics, but also a paladin like in the fairytales, so artist willow creates a character that’s the combination of the two.

willow has never made michelle feel weird for wanting to be the knight doing the saving rather than the princess needing salvation, or for seeing herself more in spiderman than in mary jane. sometimes she might even see herself as both - the hero and the girl. she’s allowed to save and be saved, to love and be loved, as an equal.

I this this on a a japanese song only playlist and a wave of hiperfixation. So heres the context: Yuno (Yuu) and Leona were newly married and lived on his family’s land. On the night after the Town Below festival, Yuno returned home to find not only her husband’s family dead but also her younger brother, Grimm. Leona was the only one still alive, but as she tried to lead him down the mountain, she discovered that he was no longer human.

Silver, a demon slayer, confronted Leona. However, after witnessing him protect Yuno, he chose to spare the newly turned demon’s life, and send the couple to his master, Lilia.

Vil and Rook are the Tamayo and Yuuchiro of this universe. Vil lived more than 300 years only on serving face and hate, nonetheless showed kindness by helping Yuno and Leona after their encounter with the Demon King.

Ace and deuce are both slayers, one ranking above yuu. The three met during a mission, and the two decided to stick by her side from that point on.

not that joe keery isn’t a very attractive man but i absolutely love the mythos the fandom has constructed around steve’s beauty like he’s somehow simultaneously the most beautiful creature you’ll ever encounter in your life and just some guy. fic writers become divinely possessed by the muses when describing this guy’s moles. i’ve never felt more secure about my own brown eyes than when i read what people write about steve harrington’s otherworldly beautiful brown eyes. he’s both unobtainable handsome and your boy next door.

One of the reasons why I love Steddie is how sweet Eddie was with Steve in the forest scene. That’s what got me into this ship. It was nice to see someone being patient and kind to Steve like that and it coming from someone like Eddie who viewed Steve so differently means a lot.

I loved how he told him how much Dustin looks up to him, making Steve smile and even after that wanting to joke around a little to make Steve laugh as well.

It was such a nice change, because all the other scenes we just see him bickering with someone or people making him seem stupid when he asks questions. Eddie didn’t make fun of him for not knowing Ozzy like he probably would have prior to things and instead let it be and called Steve cool. I love them.

Eddie’s got a country accent.

Well- not all the time. But it slips- little words and phrases invade his sentences. Just a little twang here and there- it’s bound to, anyway. Being from Tennessee, living with his uncle, all that damn Johnny Cash he’d grown up trying to learn on guitar as a young teen. But after being in Hawkins for so long, after years of trying to train himself out of it due to relentless bullying and comparisons to his father, it’d slipped after a while. But it still peeks out- still wriggles itself in between words. But usually it isn’t noticeable- until he’s comfortable. And shit, Steve’s got him pretty comfortable.

So once in a while it slips- and Eddie tries to reel it all back in, but Steve never minds. He just gives him a little grin. Swoons a bit over his metal cowboy- a phrase which Eddie loathes- and tries to find the triggers. Words that Eddie can’t help but add a little twang to. Songs he can play where Eddie couldn’t possibly sing without the little drawl.

Anything for that little piece of Eddie that’s never let out. Anything for another dip into what makes Eddie so Eddie.
