#I love silly free brand merch tbh. Give me a ballpoint pen and post it notes or band aids or whatever

I'm still being very grumpy about my package not arriving/possibly being lost and me likely not ever finding the game at such a low price ever again.
But now I got some good news that cheered me up!
I won a ticket to the hands on experience with a switch 2 here in Berlin!
I get to get my grubby little hands on the various controllers/ways to use the joycons (I'm assuming there will be a pro controller of some sort, and they'll have at least one game where you play handheld and one you play with a joycongrip and one where you play with just one joycon. Ya know, all the various modes of play you can switch between when using a switch 2) and play probably new games including some I'd never consider buying or renting! Maybe I will discover on that day that actually I like racing games now or whatever other game of a genre I don't really play (yet?).
It'll hopefully be fun. But also seems kinda daunting (oh the joys of social anxiety and getting overwhelmed by crowds and high noise levels!), because it's around 300 people for each timeslot if I understand it correctly. I've not been to that particular venue yet, so idk how spread out they could have the different spots to play games.
#I read some people's blog posts about the hands on events for the first switch#It seemed pretty chill. And they got given a goodie bag with like Nintendo pens and stickers and such#I love silly free brand merch tbh. Give me a ballpoint pen and post it notes or band aids or whatever#If I dislike the brand then it's fun because they gave me free shit eventhough I think they suck#And if I like the brand then it's cool because hey I now have a thing with the logo on it and it was free too#Also at some of those events they had a lottery where you could win more free stuff including the console or games#And if it's not become clear I am in fact a fan of getting things for free xD#They way you entered the lottery at those events was by filling a stamp card. You got a stamp for each game you tried#so yeah. Hope it works the same if there's something like a lottery again. Because I definitely want to try each game available not matter#if I ultimately like the game or not. I wanna try every single thing on offer :)
