I haven’t drawn anything since Christmas so I thought I would do a quick 30 min warm up sketch and draw this little goober from In Stars and Time..,,,, I love siffrin

I love Siffrin In Stars and Time. I love them. Look at them. Yes they are shirtless in some of these don't think about that think about how pretty he is.

Recently finished isat so… I will talk about it a lot from now on.

It’s so ironic that Siffrin, a character who forgets, a character that can’t remember his childhood or home or majority of his life, is the one that gets stuck in a time loop. They want to remember. They want to remember so bad but the one time they do, the one time they actually do is the time no one else does. Whether they forget or remember doesn’t matter - in both outcomes, Siffrin is alone. They can’t confide in anyone. Their home is forever lost and only Siffrin himself remembers the times shared with his family. They spent all of their life forgetting, and now the only thing they can do is remember - Reliving the same experiences over and over and over again.

+ Siffrin alluding their situation as a play is also… It’s been mentioned a couple times that they enjoy plays before, if i’m not wrong, and it’s common for characters in media to refer to the whole “life is a play” thing. I think it’s this very mentality and complete disregard for the individuals that each and every one of Siffrin’s family members is what leads to his doom in act 5. It’s not to say I blame Siffrin, it’s a very real and valid reaction to have. It’s understandable he doesn’t see his family as people anymore, especially if they keep repeating the same things - but the way he sees them as actors is why he wasn’t able to gather their strength or get any closer to them.

Stars, stars, stars.

I finished playing "In Stars and Time" the cool new indie game. I then learnt that there's some secret boss that can't be accessed unless I did a specific interaction with some coin in an earlier act of the story. So I need to go take care of that now. But still, Siffrin. Siffren ISAT. Definitely one of the best POV characters I've ever seen. I fucking love the ISAT cast it's so good I'm going to steal elements from Siffrin's design and use them for drawing my DnD Wizard character.

aaaaa i saw this trend on twitter and had to hop on the bandwagon!! and of course i had to play around with transparency again. it’s enrichment for me. also!! shoutout to this drawing for giving me actual wrist pain. not from actually drawing or anything but from having to resize the pieces 20 times because discord wouldn’t display them properly. but hey it turned out cool and that’s all that matters heart emoji
