I think some animals just live off spite

like you can raise a little kitty or dog like a princess and give it all the love in the world but it dies two years old because of a tumor by random chance but that mangy hostile af stray who has a kill count as high as Tr*mp's war crimes and has more diseases than it has brain cells has been in this neighborhood since your grandmother was born
