Vincent made his way to Cardinal Lawrence’s apartment, a pleasant walk through the cold, bundled up against it, the stars winking down at him faintly, through the ambient glow of Rome. The front door of the house was always open, the stairwell behind it old and stately, and Vincent let his feet fall where hundreds of years had already worn grooves into the stone. He rang the bell by Cardinal Lawrence’s door, waited, facing the stairwell, letting his gaze wander over the cracks in the plaster, the smudges of centuries. The door opened, warmth and light against his back. “Holy Father,” Cardinal Lawrence said, almost chastising, but Vincent heard the smile in his voice. He turned around and there it was: The sigh of relief. The almost shy smile, head on its forward set, eyes clear and warm. “Good evening, Thomas,” Vincent said, trying for a hug, but Cardinal Lawrence took his right hand, kissed his ring and then ushered Vincent inside. “Please, it’s cold out. Are you very hungry, Holy Father?” “Vincent, please,” Vincent asked, shedding his overcoat and scarf, leaving his shoes by the door. Cardinal Lawrence sighed, took his coat and scarf, but they remained standing in the hallway a moment longer. Took each other in.

- Reading up discussions on what exactly “I forgive you/Don’t bother” really truly mean

- Sad again

- Specifically going after the fluff tag

- Back to deliberation about the possibilities of how aziracrow will make up in S3

- Complaining about the need for S3 now

- Decided to contain my love for aziracrow by watching gifs sets of all the classic/favourite scenes

- Contemplating what does “I forgive you” in relation to “I am good with forgiveness” gives us

- Recommending good omens to friends so that they can go down this rabbit hole with me :))

- Rewatching S1/S2 for the nth time *just in case you know I missed out a tidbit or two

- Going to reread the book next :D

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about
