SEPFEMBER 2024 PROMPTS LIST

HERE WE ARE! AT LONG LAST! THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN (HOPEFULLY) WAITING FOR! GIRL MONTH!

I honestly can't believe this is actually happening. This event was a shower thought a few months ago.

Here's a recap of the event: to participate, make at least one fanwork of any variety during September that features a woman or women from the Zelda franchise as the main character/s. All Linksmeets are welcome in this challenge, as well as general LoZ fans!

Before I drop the prompts list for those who are looking for a little direction, I'd like to mention that I have made an AO3 COLLECTION FOR THIS EVENT. It's open and unmoderated so you can add your works to it freely. And if you post on tumblr, please tag #sepfember !! I'll be scrolling through the tag every day looking for things to reblog and gush about 👀

At the end of the day, this is a celebration, and all that matters is that you have fun. Ballad and Ruto interaction! -> Hi-res available for download

Wanted to work on this again after I started it back in October or so. I wasn't gonna color it tho but I couldn't resit, I love drawing my design for Ruto way too much to pass up coloring her. Shes just so fun, and pretty, and bvadjkvbdjavk

Anyways these two are very cute imo, so here's some extra details on her relationship with Ballad below the cut.

Ballad tends to have a hard time reforming his relationships with people he had known during his journey, having a hard time separating the current person from the one he knew in the past. But his relationship with Ruto wasn't hindered by this and they quickly grew close.

Ballad took up her marriage proposal and he spent most of his late-teen to young-adult years in Zora's domain. They were near inseparable up until the Execution War when Ballad was drafted into Zelda's army and climbed the ranks.

Long story short, war really made Ballad think for a minute and go "am I really fit for royalty?" and they and Ruto ultimately decided it probably wouldn't. They're still besties tho <3

there's definitely a noticeable difference in style/quality of some of these just due to time between each design and/or how i was feeling at the time of drawing them (these hot and rainy summer months have been super rough on me)

ALSO they were all done symmetrically so that i wouldn't burn out and could actually finish them LOL . OK EVERYBODY BELOW

starting off with asta, a husky/coyote mutt!! :D in my au, devil users end up becoming hybrids of whatever their devil is. so since liebe is a coyote, that's what asta is too!! (also, i haven't drawn him yet, but yuno is a malamute :D similar looking breeds but different since they're not actually related!)

then of course, noelle, who's a saluki!! a very regal breed for a very royal gal!! i thought making her pigtails into her ears was a fun idea HEHEHE

here's finral, he's a shetland sheepdog!! gentle and sweet and always trying to herd his people together :) you might notice that with some of my designs, i end up doing extra scarring; that's usually just personal headcanons, as i think some injuries would be too grievous to fully heal. though some (for instance, gauche) don't have a canon story behind them, i just think they're fitting

vanessa, who's a cavalier king charles spaniel!! her ears sorta blend into her hair lol, i had an alternate version where they were the same darker brown as her fur but i decided that them blending in looked better and fit the breed standard as well.

gauche, the ever wary american akita!! being a fiercely loyal and protective breed, but aloof and suspicious of strangers.

then there's grey, who's a long-haired chihuahua!! sweet and skittish HEHE, also i haven't drawn it yet but i've always imagined her big transformation disguise that she's first introduced as to be a rottweiler LOL

next up is luck, a jack russell terrier!! i've always thought this was a very fitting breed pick, intelligent but highly energetic and a little mischievous !!!

and of course, magna is never far behind luck; he's a dobermann pinscher!! similar to luck in energy and intelligence, but even more fiercely protective of his loved ones.

GORDON!!! actually one of my favourite black clover characters, he's a dalmatian not only because of the fitting aesthetic, but also because of his kind and sensitive personality!

the masked supermage zora, a german shepherd! watchful and sometimes stubborn but loyal nonetheless made this pick fairly easy to come to. though, before getting to see more of him, my initial pick was actually a kai ken!

charmy's design is one that i'm the most proud of for sure; i mentioned in an earlier post that the different peoples are different species of animals. well charmy is a half toy poodle, half american badger!! i thought a badger was a VERY fitting pick, as they are generally unbothered by much unless their food is threatened LOL

and finally, lastly (for now) is nero!! she's a bull terrier, but i really wanted to keep her twin tails from her anti-bird form! her outfit is definitely the one i edited the most, i just wanted to give her something more practical out of personal preference.

additionally, henry is an old english sheepdog, nacht is a black norwegian elkhound/fox, and yami is a wolfdog!

I HAVE SOME OTHER CHARACTERS DOODLED HERE AND THERE but nothing else really finished yet. if there's a specific character anyone would like to see i would be SO happy to draw/doodle them to show off!! i honestly have a huge list of dog/cat breeds picked out for every character i could think of; i just am hellishly indecisive and can never pick who to start on next AHDSJAGDJSDK

Zora May: Formal Ball / Royalty

my Zora OC, Prince Zale and his sister, Princess Sagitta (my partner's OC) having a little dance, wearing a bit fancier outfits than usual. They're feeling a little silly about it but they're still having fun! ✨

This is gonna be my last entry for Zora May...! I wish I could've done more, but I am also happy in general that I decided to take part in it! I feel like I draw actual "big" art of my OCs way too rarely, and Zora May really helped to change that a bit! So thank you, @prisiidon for hosting this event!! 💚

That said: I was thinking of doing art trades during June maybe?? Since I won't be able to take part in Art Fight this year, but I still always love seeing my OCs drawn by other people! Personality/Story: Natalie has autism which makes it a little hard for her to understand some things but she is strong and brave with a caring heart of gold and has managed to make some villains see the error of their ways just with her kind and gentle words, Her bow is powered by a real dragons fire breath. Sometimes she gets scared from the loud noises and fighting but her Senseis and friends are there to help when needed

Likes: playing piano, drawing, hanging out with Dr Krankcase and watching him work on inventions, translucent colourful things, sleeping, making people laugh

Dislikes: when people tell lies, bullies, (she thinks they are annoying idiots) tacos, (they make her feel sick) people yelling, (it scares her sometimes)

Name: Dingo Allens

Catchphrase: the winters from above!

Battle Class: knight

Species: angel

Senseis: Wildstorm, Ambush

Personality/Story: Dingo is very understanding and protective but can also be a jokester at times and enjoys a good laugh. he is also Natalie's guardian angel so he's always there to keep the bad sprits away when she sleeps. Despite being listed as a water element Dingo actually has ice powers and used his ice breath to create his sword, he was also born in heaven

Likes: singing, making things and changing outfits with his ice power, flying around the academy with Sonic Boom and Whirlwind, annoying villains, (he finds it funny when they get angry and try to charge at him but he flies out of reach)

Dislikes: people pulling at his wings, (sometimes kids will grab ahold of his feathers and pull on them which really hurts him, good thing he can make his wings disappear and reappear whenever) spicy food

Name: Eugene Clamentine

Personality/Story: Eugene can be rude and controlling at times but he has a soft side for his friends, he is also a tradesmen and has many things in his possession, he is willing to give you what you need for something in return of course but sometimes he can be particularly nasty and trick people into getting him hard to find artifacts only to use his magic to teleport them to who knows where. Eugene may be a mean man but he can be very nice and gentlemanly... When he wants to be

Likes: jewels and other priceless things, playing pranks with Flare Wolf, his friends, (especially because they care even if he is rude) fighting, scaring trolls with his power so they will pull his trade cart for him

Name: Sparky

Personality/Story: Sparky is always calm and collected and a quick thinker, he's also a blacksmith and makes weapons, armour and occasionally limbs for those who lost theirs. Sparky lost his arms in battle and had his friend Eugene help build his robo arms with his magic, he is also brave and fearful of losing his friends and is willing to protect them with his life. He's also good friends with Sprocket and thought he would make his weapon similar to hers

Likes: training with his Senseis, making weapons, relaxing in the academy lounge, hanging out with Eugene, (sometimes he bonks him on the head if he is being really nasty)

Dislikes: Wolfgang, (he tries to annoy Sparky by grabbing his tail or messing with his mechanical arms but ends up getting hit with a giant wrench) chompies, water, (he hates the fact that he can't swim anymore)

Species: robot dragon

Senseis: Golden Queen, Mysticat

Personality/Story: Zora is wise and gentle and can sometimes see the future in her dreams, she is a robot similar to Gearshift but has the soul of a green feather dragon fused within which brought her back to life. She loves to meditate and decorate her room with colourful fairy lights, before Zora was a robot/dragon hybrid she was a loud and destructive green feather dragon. She loved playing around with other dragons and was quite careless with her actions, But one day her carelessness got her caught in the crossfire of a dragon battle and sadly passed before anyone could save her. Some dragons brought her to Master Eon and he helped their friend by transferring her soul into a spare robot Dr Krankcase had in his workshop, Zora was brought back to life but now with a quiet, none destructive and more careful personality

Likes: eating, meditation, Dr Krankcase and Eon, (for bringing her back to life) visiting her dragon friends, lava, ( her body is lava proof so she loves playing with it)

Dislikes: battles, (her friends try to help her with her fear of battle by fighting along side her) her room being messy, being distracted

Personality/Story: fauns are usually born to be of the life or earth element but when Leodora was born the other fauns were shocked to find out she was a dark element and some thought it was a sign of evil while others thought it was a miracle. When fauns become teenagers they get to choose an animal spirit to gain their power, some animal spirits are good and some are bad, as expected the teen fauns chose a good spirit like a bird, Fox etc although Leodora was usually sort of friendly and kind she liked to misbehave at times and wandered off to the bad sprits area. For some reason she was drawn to the lion spirit which is one of the evilest spirits and also hard to control. A elder faun saw her walking towards it and reached out to stop her but it was to late and she was already being surrounded with its power. The elder faun stared at her in amazement as she looked at him now with glowing red eyes and had managed to control the spirit, now she is a Skylander and is still learning new abilities but her favourite is her all mighty lion roar.

Likes: scaring and defeating villains with her load roar, running really fast, learning, winning roaring competitions with wildstorm,

Dislikes: Zora, (Zora and Leodora are like rivals and manage to turn anything into a fight or competition) when people are too bossy, fruit cake
