I want a crack fic where after the mission NAS North Island Base holds a celebration party in honor of the daggers’ success. But maverick disappears at some point so the daggers decide to go find him, they do, eventually, but it’s in the lounge room of the main building. And they find him with the COMPACFLT, throwing stuff at each other. Cue shocked daggers.

Then just to increase the crack (because I find this extremely funny) the other flyboys walk in from the opposite door, ask what the two are arguing about and join in. Then cyclone walks in holding a cup of coffee and just wanting to sit down, sees the chaos and promptly turns around and walks straight back out.
