I feel like we don’t talk nearly enough about Taissa and her axe motif.

Out of the three(?) yjs with weapon motifs Shauna and her knife, Nat and her gun, Tai and her axe. I think what makes the axe really unique is how nonviolent its use cases are compared to the others. Mainly, collecting lumber.

She’s not slaughtering or butchering but it’s equally important. Ultimately she keeps the team warm. She’s reliable, sturdy like the wood she cuts, in doomcoming they chat about how much they think Tai resembles the trees. She’s their heart. Their moral compass. Despite her seemingly cold and rational exterior she’s the one doing her best to keep everyone morally grounded.

Estelle Blofis is going to be so loved, it's almost hard to comprehend.

Despite the fact that her parents are literally Sally and Paul who are absolutely amazing.

The entirety of Percy and his friends would love her so much. She will never ever be in a situation where she will think that she's alone. She'll always have someone to call, always have somewhere to go back to, always have a home.

And they will make sure of it, she will never go through what they did. She'll never have to worry about going home and getting yelled at or hit, worry about people not caring for her, worry that what she does being the only thing that proves her "worth". She will be loved unconditionally which many of them weren't.

I don't think you understand. She will be the counter of all their fatal flaws, she will never think she isn't enough, she'll never believe herself to be a burden, she will never question the love people have for her, she will never be afraid to make decisions in fear of failure because she will always have people to fall back to, she will never feel the need to risk herself for others, she will never have a intense desire for something like power, because she has the people she loves, she will never think of herself as useless, she will never have to wonder whether her life is at risk, she'll never have to believe that it's up to her to fix her broken family, never have to worry about not having a home to go back to. Never worry about her self worth being tied to something she was "destined" to do.

And she will NEVER wonder whether she is alone.

She could be thousands of miles away from home and even there she would have someone. She could be anywhere on the planet Earth hell even not on Earth and she will never be alone, she will never fear for her life.

And she will ALWAYS be loved.

There’s something really comforting about veiling. Being able to have that extra layer of separation between myself and the outside world helps me keep my sensory issues at bay. Being able to have everyone see that I’m religious is such a powerful thing. Having a physical reminder of my devotion to my gods provides me with the strength to power through even the hardest days, because I always have them with me.

Whether it’s a simple bandana tied on before I leave the house, a full coverage scarf, or tegidion; I always feel more comforted and confident when i’m covered.

When I wake up in the middle of the night, shaking from dreams I can't remember She stays until I fall asleep

After every argument, when there is no one. She stays.

She picks up the broken pieces of who I once was and who I could be, and she keeps them safe until I'm ready to glue myself back together.

I might not be made from love, but I am sustained by her love.

I know I am never alone because she stands with me. Her hearth, a warm place to rest before I have to face the world again. She is always there. In my music, in my friends. In every moment that feels like home. She is there.

Hestia has kids at camp, not because of lovers but because when a couple wants kids but cannot have them she is the one who blesses them with children Her kids don't have a strong aura so they are rarely attacked by monsters and will often split time between home and camp equally, traveling back and forth whenever they get homesick Hera also is often the one who babysits them when they are young, or she will be the nurse at their schools

These kids are more like Rachel than a demigod A mortal blessed with a god's power

They are naturally good at cooking/sewing/household chores, they never seem to have a problem lighting or keeping a fire no matter the weather and their fires never get too big or have too much ash. And they have a way of calming down those around them, everyone just feels more relaxed and at ease; when someone is having a panic attack/ptsd/flashbacks the Hestia kids are always the ones called over to help the camper through it, and even after the camper is feeling better they'll sit with them and share a warm drink, making sure they feel cared for and safe

Gods this season was a ride, Im gonna miss it though, Im officially halfway through my time with this band and I'll never be able to thank the people Im with enough for everything, this was a great season and I'm so excited to pick up where we left off next year <3

Demeter, pin-straight in her chair and making the room much colder than it was before: What do you want? I was about to meet my dearest Persephone.

The Younger Olympians were starting to stew with hatred, and their older counterparts were just letting it happen. It was not as if they were entirely unwilling to speak of what happened to them (throughout their years of war, loss, and triumph) it was just that nobody had the courage to ask.

Hera, glaring and not moving from her spot at the entrance: What the hell do you want from me.

Zeus, adjusting his suit and getting comfortable: What’s up, my dear Muses? Your King is a very busy man, you know.

Poseidon, deciding to ignore all chair-related roles and making itself comfortable: I heard from a little fishy that this was about a documentary?
