Despite my best efforts to avoid the main HL tags lately, I’ve still noticed a recent uptick in posts where people are like “it’s so tragic that Valve gets rid of beloved characters after spending so many games developing their close, special relationships with the protagonist” about Barney Fucking Calhoun and I just have to ask... did we play the same games???

He has less than 8 minutes of voice lines! He’s in like 3.5 scenes! He and Gordon have maybe 3 sentences of lore, and it’s fairly basic and boring lore!
