Dabi x Fem!Reader

You’re new in town, but your star is quickly rising on the villain scene. You’re quick on your feet and clever as hell.You’re confident, but not cocky. You know thats how people get in trouble. You never get caught, but people know who you are. You go by Quicksilver and you have a really nice motorcycle. You have a full arm sleeve and a couple piercings, mainly on your ears.

One night, you end up near the LOV’s hide out and Dabi spots you from outside his window. He’s never seen you before, so he decides to follow you. He becomes entranced by your long silver hair and the fact that you are fully clad in leather. He wonders what a girl like you could be doing in a place like this and what you’re here for.

As you’re walking through the alleyways, you can sense him following you, but you let him continue to follow you and think he’s doing a good job at it. You lead him to a dead end where there are no listening ears.

“Ya know, if you’re gonna follow me, you may wanna be a little more stealth about it,” you say with a smirk

“H-how did you-”

“I may not have been in the game that long, but I know when I’m being followed and I know who you are...Dabi”

“If you knew it was me, why didn’t you stop earlier” 

“You wanna know the truth...I kinda like the idea of being chased by you. I’ve been following your career since the beginning and I’ve learned from you. From both your strengths and in areas where you’re lacking”

“Listen here little mouse, I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little impressed by you and how you stand up for yourself, but you’re on my turf, so if you know what’s good for you, you’ll cool it with the attitude. This can be done easily or we can do it the hard way”

“Well, I’m gonna be honest with you Dabi. I like doing things the hard way, but you’re gonna have to come find me first” you say in his ear, smirking

 You teleport to the top of a building, wave to Dabi and race off jumping from roof to roof until you get back to your bike.

Dabi finally catches up to you and you’re able to look him in the eyes before putting the shield of your helmet down and speeding off laughing.

He watched as you sped off and smiled. You left a lasting impression on him and he vowed that next time he saw you, you weren’t gonna get out of his grasp. 

Dabi keeps an eye out for you over the next couple of days, but you never show. That is until tonight.

He hears your bike pull up under his window and takes a peek. He notices that this time you’re actually waiting for him.

“So little mouse, you decided to come back? What for?”

“Well if you must know Dabi, I wanna be partners. I feel like you could teach me a lot about the terrain here and I could teach you a thing or two.”

“What can you teach me that I don’t already know, little mouse?”

“For starters,” you say backing him onto a wall,”I can teach you how to control yourself and your quirk”

He switches your place and you end up on the wall in between his arms.

“I like you little mouse and I’m not opposed to that little arrangement, but I’m gonna teach you, that you are not the authority here. I am,” He whispers in your ear

You stand there slightly flustered by his forward nature

“What happened to the big bad girl act huh? Can’t take when the tables are turned?”

You try to escape his embrace and not let him get to you, but he grabs you by your wrists and put them above your head, pinning you to the wall.

“I’m not letting you go little mouse, not this time”

“So what does this mean then,” you say in a flirty tone

“It means...I’ll let you be my partner and we can show each other some things along the way. I’ve taken a liking to you little mouse. You’re mine now and I ain’t letting you go”

“Think I like the sound of that, but let’s get one thing straight. I.belong.to no one.”

“Well I love a good chase and you’ll get tired sooner or later.”

“We’ll see about that,” you say smirking

“Yeah, we’ll see,” he says with a sly smile

I hope this was everything you hoped it would be! I really enjoyed writing it and my imagination definitely ran wild 😂

Ok so AO3 is acting up and I wanted to leave a comment on "all I want" but it's just??? Not posting???? So I'm just gonna submit it here, I hope u don't mind: AAAAA for starters: fuckin love bad suns!!! This title is so fitting Ok ok I REALLY loved this story so this comment is prob gonna be pretty long: I lov lov the story line in general. How it tracks jirous work, her feelings, all w that overlying plot w Quicksilver & the secret project (hero agency)-- the plot is very engaging at all points!!! Also, I thought your fight scenes were awesome!!! A good balance of details and big picture. Don't sell urself short! the kamijirou interactions..... Holy shit thanks for my Life-- in general ur characterization of them IS AMAZIN I love how kaminaris all dopey + happy (WHEN HE MANAGED TO MANIFEST HIS ELEC SWORD THE FIRST TIME ,AAAAAAA) but also generally concern & good hearted, and how jirou is all tsundere and kick-ass, but also how much she really cAres about kami and her friends.... Every little jab she threw at his face but then the praises she (begrudgingly) thought behind his back (THE MAGAZINE!!!!) are so 😭😭😭👌👌👌 they're so perfect 4 each other I'm dying!!!! The friendships jirou has are also hella good.... Having the weekly calls with momo, "third wheel" bff sero, bkg & the band and pushing her to be better, even ojiro + their pleasant conversation, I just love slow burns bc they allow the characters to interact with more than just the pairing and I feel like the friendships can be as awesome and fun to explore as the ships!!! You have definitely done this!! There are a lot of little things that make this fic come to life. The things you spread throughout the story-- kamis affinity for junk food, jirous jacks making white noise, THE PAPER WORK, THE LOVE SONGS T___T-- add to the overall cohesion of the work and the recognizable tidbits always made me :) "also finally i can now write the kmjr sap i was born to write" BLESS U FOR THIS GOOD GOOD KMJR SAP the burn was slow but the product was worth it..... Then dancing in the kitchen... The flowers.... That domestic shit..... I'm die boy they are so damn cute and I love how you write them TO CONCLUDE: GREAT STORY, GREAT SHIP, GREAT FIC THANK U FOR WRITING AND SHARING!!!!!
