Kaidan: *running down the steps to the plains district, where Merlyn was practicing* Bugger that! You just want me to slow down so you'll win!

Vilkas: No, seriously- Watch out!

Merlyn: Ah-!

Farkas: Merlyn!

Kaidan: *crashing into Merlyn* Shit-! I'm so sorry, are you okay??

Merlyn: I-I'm.. I.. M-My..

Farkas: Kaidan! What the hell are you doing?!

Kaidan: Vilkas and I were training. I didn't mean to run into her. Hey! I didn't hurt you, did I?

Merlyn: *looking down at her broken lute* M-My.. my lute..

Vilkas: This is why I told you to be careful, you idiot!

Kaidan: I said I was sorry! I really am! I can get you a new lute, or- *he watches as Merlyn runs away* Dammit. Who even was that?

Farkas: Merlyn. She isn't allowed to leave her house much. Her father wouldn't let her replace the lute, no doubt.

Vilkas: I'm going to go make sure she's okay.
