I like the storyboards of the hyenas in TLK 2 and 3. No words, I just love them.
#The lion king#the lion king 2 Simba’s pride#the lion king 1 1/2#The lion king hyenas#I know it’s an everlasting debate as to what happened to the hyena trio after the first film#But given the fact that Disney not once but TWICE envisioned the hyenas surviving at the end of the first film#And in the canon they’re explanation was that the hyenas “ran off” despite the lack of mentioning that the trio got#And how the writers of the first film had gone on to work on the 3rd -#I think it’s arguably semi-canon that these guys are still alive#It’s still so weird that apart from the Timon and Pumbaa show#the hyenas were never included in the chronological TLK franchise ever again which is so weird#The lion king 3
