Shinsai hcs cause I’m feeling romantic
Before they started dating Kiyo absolutely refused to admit to themselves that he liked Shuichi so he tried to keep it on the dl. Unfortunately that did not work at all because when he would get nervous around Shuichi and they would have fun Kiyo would get all giggly and smiley without realizing it. Shuichi was just starstruck because omg cute cute cute.
Once they are dating Kiyo gets a lot more comfortable as time passes and he begins to joke more. He also gets hella hyper sometimes and Shuichi is shocked but loves it.
Mornings are so calm. Usually Kiyo wakes up first and admires Shuichi sleeping because they love him so much but on the rare occasion Shuichi wakes up before Kiyo and gets to see his lanky bf sleeping. Shuichi snores a bit and talks in his sleep. He also tosses and turns a lot. Kiyo either curls up into a ball or he’s falling off the bed. Kiyo sleep talks a lot and mumbles a lot too. He doesn’t really snore though. He will occasionally sleep walk which is terrifying for Shuichi.
Kiyo makes them both tea in the mornings as Shuichi is barely alive. Kiyo is pretty good at waking up on time which would be a good thing if he didn’t have trouble falling asleep. So if he goes to bed at 4 he’ll still wake up at 6. Shuichi will drag them back into bed if he sees them doing that though.
Since they both struggle with living a healthy balanced life and they both REALLY struggle with self care it can be problematic. They’re both in therapy though. Kiyo has appointments every Thursday afternoon (idk why but it HAS to be Thursday afternoon I will not accept any other day)
Even through their struggles Shuichi is very good at helping Kiyo calm down and he makes them really happy. Kiyo is very good at reminding Shuichi that he’s loved and that he’s not going anywhere,
Unfortunately they both have pretty bad anxiety so they’ll often go out with Maki and Kaito so they don’t avoid people so much.
Most of their dates are at parks or the beach. Sometimes they’ll go for coffee but it’s usually overwhelming since people exist.
Kiyo cleans and Shuichi cooks. You would think it’s the other way around but Kiyo will get distracted and burn whatever he’s making and Shuichi gets stressed out trying to clean the whole apartment. Kiyo doesn’t mind cleaning as long as he has a clear to do list with some sort or music or background noise playing. Shuichi’s cooking is pretty good. He finds cooking to be calming most of the time.
Sometimes Kiyo will distract Shu while he’s cooking by wrapping their lanky arms around his waist. Shuichi is just like “babe ily but go read a book you’re bad luck when it comes to food” Kiyo likes to bug Shuichi so he just laughs.
Kiyo is the more affectionate one and is constantly holding onto Shuichi. Shuichi is often too anxious to initiate cuddles so he’s glad that Kiyo is so grabby.
Kiyo has a habit of chewing on straws so he always has to get new ones. If they ever go out for coffee/drinks of some kind they usually just talk a lot and Kiyo is a constantly moving person so he’ll either tap the table, chew his straw, or kick his chair.
Speaking of going out, Kiyo hates restaurants and cafes. It’s because of the seating. As we know Kiyo is 6,2 and he has very long legs so he often has to sit very awkwardly or force himself to sit still so he doesn’t kick Shuichi
Kiyo literally never went anywhere as a kid and went to the mall like once or twice in his life because it was crowded and (the creature we’ll call her) wouldn’t let them go anywhere.
Shuichi takes Kiyo to the mall sometimes. While they both find the mall to be pretty overwhelming (that’s why they bring Kaito and Maki as their guides) it’s still a good place to go shopping and people watching
They live close to a bookstore which they both absolutely adore because they’re nerds and they love reading.
If Shuichi has a bad day Kiyo picks up on it pretty quickly. Usually it helps Shuichi a lot to be able to rant a bit since he often gets too much in his head and needs to let his thoughts out. Kiyo is a very good listener and will run his spindly fingers through Shuichi’s hair and gently kiss his head trying to help him feel better
Kiyo on the other hand really doesn’t like talking about what goes on inside their head and he often goes completely silent when he’s upset. He’ll usually lay down and refuse to talk or get up. Shuichi will go lay with them and gently play with his hair. They’ll either cuddle or Shuichi will make food and put on the nature channel (which helps Kiyo feel better)
Anyways! Reblog if you enjoy and feel free to add on I love these two so much!

NDRV3 as Major Arcana
Looooonngggg post.
I’m no Card Interpretation Pro(tm) (and some choices are just ‘hmm who’s left’) so this isn’t perfect but I will try.
Idea is from @dangan-kin-aid (bless you)
Cards that may contain spoilers will be bolded. Certain spoiler-y phrases in such descriptions will be in italics.
The Fool - Kaito Momota: One is tempted to make the protagonist The Fool, what fools they are (also v3 protags aren’t your average protags). Kaito has the natural free-spirit of The Fool, and tries his best to look up and on the brighter side of things. He often tries to be the ‘hero’ that fights through any trouble. He’s also kinda an airhead.
The Magician - Himiko Yumeno
Aside from the obvious, this fits very well. While The Magician does show the power of ‘magic’, they also show willpower. Following chapter 3, Himiko goes through great strides on her own to change. She wants to let the lessons she was taught by her friends live on, even if they are dead.
The High Priestess - Angie Yonaga
The High Priestess is known for her connection to the unconscious. What better description for her connection to ‘Atua’. She is seen many times trying to open up the eyes of others to what she knows that they do not.
The Empress - Kirumi Tojo
The Empress is the Mom Card(tm). She provides to other with kindness and sincerity. A very fitting description for the selfless maid that is Kirumi.
The Emperor - Monokuma
The Emperor is not only seen as the fatherly figure (such as Monokuma is to the Monocubs), he also exercises authority and wisdom from his many years. V3 isn’t Monokuma’s first rodeo (rodeo meaning killing game), and we know he has no hesitation in exercising his authority and enforcing the rules onto others.
The Hierophant - Monodam
This card is known for sticking to tradition, and keeping others in this check. Monodam’s whole gimmick is to ‘LET-EVER-GET-ALONG’ and will punish those who fight with each other. So that’s what influenced this choice.
The Lovers - Monophanie
Despite Monodam’s best efforts, Monophanie is the most loved and approachable of the cubs. She alone carries many of the attributes of The Lovers.
The Chariot - Iruma Miu
The Chariot is very in-control of their life and I mean that in a bold and powerful way. Iruma does not take any modesty in talking about her talent and accomplishments and is very direct in that she thinks.
Strength - Tenko Chabashira
Yes, Tenko is very strong with her Neo-Aikido, but that talent is not only sheer force. By using her skills she can feel the troubles of others and help them (even if she isn’t an advice pro). She is very dedicated to her work and when facing danger, while she is scared, she is fully willing to use herself to protect others.
The Hermit - Kiibo
This is going to go right into spoilers. The Hermit is known for their isolation, but that it not the end of their tale. After reflecting in solitude, they emerge with an ultimate truth that could only be found after blocking out the demands of outer forces. This is literally chapter 6 wtf.
The Wheel of Fortune - Monosuke
Monosuke was indeed very focused on money and power, however The Wheel of Fortune tells that there are things outside of our control that govern us. This rings true to Monosuke’s fate.
Justice - Korekiyo Shinguuji
The card of cause and effect, Justice. Truly after Kiyo’s supposed near 100-killing-spree, what card determines his fate more?
Hanged Man - Kaede Akamatsu
I know what you’re going to say. Dark humor aside, The Hanged Man, while hung, seems at peace with their self and the world. It is the card of a martyr. Kaede’s sacrifice and the significance of it is a recurring topic throughout the whole game, and is used as a motivating force so that her life was not wasted on despair, but rather opened a door to hope.
Death - Harukawa Maki
Himiko was also a close choice for this. The Death card shows the end of a cycle, a new beginning, only brought about by a great loss. Maki losing Kaito was a big moment for her, and soon afterwards she is set out into an unfamiliar world. With such a big scar on her soul, she heads out into the new world with hope in her heart.
Temperance - Monotaro
The Temperance card symbolizes balance and a middle path. I gave Monotaro this one because he is the solid middle ground among the Monocubs. He is playful but not foolish like Monokid and Monosuke. He is also not overcome with emotions like Monopanie and Monodam. He is a solid center.
The Devil - Monokid
Ouma was a close choice for this due to his playfulness (but then I’d have no card for Monokid). The Devil is very tied to human desire and materialism. He is destructive and plays around. Very fitting for a misfit like Monokid.
The Tower - Tsumugi Shirogane
Spoilers beware. The Tower is marked by pride, and it suddenly comes crumbling down. With the fall of the tower, we learn about out faults. To have Danganronpa destroyed before her eyes in a perfect parallel to this. Know that after the tower falls, it is rebuilt with greater insight.
The Star - Shuichi Saihara
The Hope Card(tm). The Star is what is seen after the tower falls. It is an opportunity, a possibility, at a brighter future. The Star shows hope not only in itself, but in the world around it. Pretty solid to what Shuichi was saying before he headed out with the survivors.
The Moon - Hoshi Ryoma
The Moon brings with it the dark, and many times we fall into darkness when clouded by negative illusions. Ryoma fell victim to the illusion that no one cared about him and that he was truly alone, but his death was mourned by many of his fellow classmates, meaning that his existence did leave a mark on the hearts of others.
The Sun - Gonta Gokuhara
The Sun symbolizes success, but not your ordinary accomplishment. The Sun is the success of the conscious mind by learning through the unconscious. In chapter 4 when Gonta felt what he was doing was right because of ‘The Truth of the Outside World’ he was happy and sure that it would help everyone.
Judgement - Rantaro Amami
Judgement symbolizes reflection, looking at your past self and awaken from within. When Rantaro is reminded of his relation to killing games past, he becomes a participant different from his peers. He cannot forget what he once knew and has to blend in with those that did not experience what he has gone through.
The World - Kokichi Ouma
He was the only one I had left but it works? The World symbolizes completion, accomplishment, harmony. Kokichi’s plan to stop the mastermind was cunning, tactful, and almost perfect. The accomplishment must come from both inside and outside forces, so not only did Kokichi have to be willing to die, he also needed somebody to carry out the rest of his plan. While his plan did not end the killing game, there were no more murders insinuated by the mastermind following Kokichi and Kaito’s acts in chapter 5.
Bonus: Pentacles=monocoins, Swords=spears, Wands=Usami’s wands, Cups=Hinata’s glasses of oj
If you actually read all this: wow omg thank you I haven’t typed this much in ages.

Kinda thinking about adding Kirumi to my kin list. She’s a little too relatable which is why I didn’t add her because I was like hm that’s very personal lol but she correlates to my life more than ANY other of my kins. Mix her backstory and actions with Shuichi’s anxiety and speech patterns and Kiyos actions and personality and BOOM you have me. Also chiaki’s height lol.
