Highlight of today was when the Course Director for the second lab came up to me towards the end and said “two different students have asked me if you’re going to be their bench instructor from now on” (one was gone today so I was covering his area) 🥹

#mah life #I did make a joke like “oh with dread?’’#their usual instructor is a really harsh grader #I kept telling her welllll I’m really picky too tho… I just feel bad about it’’#(pathological perfectionist with Ocd)#and she was like ‘no it’s good to be picky—but you’re picky and kind’’ 🥹#we do gotta be picky and fail people tho yall or we would be doing future patients a great disservice #flintstill gets a job #the grading rubrics help not to be too harsh
