#murdoch mysteries#I just watched the ep where Murdoch blames his wife’s miscarriage on the abortion she had 15 years ago as punishment from god#BUT BESIDES THAT#why the hell did they have the bit where the landlord asked if watts was a bachelor and offered him a space#like what was that for#if not to establish watts as single as set up for a relationship#which didn’t happen for a full season#when they turned him gay#which i’m grateful for#but they didn’t think it through lol#and then also a set up for him living in a specific place but they never show where he lives at all#like why did that exchange exist#everything to do with watts gets hinted and then never happens#anyway I’m insane
