I wish renfaires were like, not 80-90% shopping/paying for more things once inside. I’m paying HOW much to be here and I’m just supposed to spend more money????? Whack

#like I tip the performers I see and i get that as a performer who works for tips #but like #most of what you do at a faire is walk around little shops #which are cool #but damn I have no money #I just wanna wear a cool costume I made and be whimsical #and then drunk and kinda slutty after dark #I know the compromise is LARP which I do go to semi-regularly #but that requires a lot of effort on my part into being in character and remembering plot and shit #I just wanna party in a field while we all wear cool costumes ig #rennaisance fair #ren faire
