I’m still decorating for Christmas(or more accurately winter). I plugged in lights tonight. i didn’t have any lights because I relied heavily on the light show that my fiber optic tree put on but it stopped lighting up last year. A friend sent me a string of lights and I picked up a set after Christmas (I wish I had bought so many they are so pretty). i finally got the extension cord and then there was pretty pretty light. I usually keep stuff up until close to my birthday (February) and with the nebulous grief fog of this holiday season, I don’t know, this feels appropriate. Anyway if this turns into my main coping mechanism it seems relatively okay, another bad thing happened? I’ll just plug in another set of pretty lights.
