One of the dynamics of the characters post-timeloop I think we're missing is Orissa (and the Taramatula family as a whole). During the invasion Orissa knows that there's something weird going on with Zorian. She knows he's more skilled than he appears and seems to be playful in going along with his story (When Zorian exaggerates about how helpless he is she sets some of her bees after him, somewhat like an older sibling).

I think it'd be interesting how Damien, Zorian's, Orissa's, and the Taramatula family's relationship evolves overtime. Damien knew that his brother was an archmage time traveler that killed his past self. Orissa knows something is up but not what. The Taramatula family as a whole is dedicated to mind magic (maybe more so than the Aope). Orissa knows that Zorian is *much* better at mind magic then he lets on and might be the only one who knows. Does Damien tell his fiance any of his little brother's secrets? Does Orissa tell her family what she suspects? Does the Taramatula family want to forge a political alliance with Zorian due to his status as aranean ambassador and advocator for mind magic use? Overall I think Orissa could have a very interesting older sister relationship with Zorian (and Fortov and Kirielle too) and the family dynamics would be fun. If I could write romantic relationships I'd write a wedding short story set from Damien and Orissa's pov as they try to handle political stuff, family drama, possible dangers due to mind magic/their having of mind magic, and Zorian just being in the background as a side character.
